The Nurse's Secret

Twilight Sparkle was in her room while silently hanging out, she heard someone knock on her door and that made her curious as she knew that she wasn't supposed to have any visitors that day, she decided to check it out, when's he got to the door she was greeted by nurse Redheart. She guessed that Nurse Redheart was here for the same reasons Twilight went to her office.

"May I come in? It's really hot out here." She said politely. Twilight knew that it would be rude of her to slam the door in Nurse Redheart's face so she just stood in front of her door and questioned Nurse Redheart.

"Why are you here? If this is about doing my checkup here then do what you need to do, I won't be able to avoid it anyway and plus I have to stop freaking out whenever I'm around needles because it's ridiculous." Twilight said.

"Well yes that's the one reason but....I also need to talk to you." Nurse Redheart said while she started to search through her bag as Twilight sat down, Twilight wondered about any other reason why Nurse Redheart was here. Nurse Redheart checked Twilights pulse and listened to her heart.

"What do you need to talk to me about? Go ahead and tell me and maybe I can help you with something if you do need my help." Twilight asked her, Nurse Redheart looked at Twilight's ears and looked into her eyes and then looked at her.

"Thanks twilight I appreciate that. I was ashamed of something about myself to tell my patients anything so I came to you which is another reason why i came here." Nurse Redheart said as she sat down, Twilight wanted to know why Nurse Redheart had felt that way.

"Well...what is it that your ashamed of yourself...can you tell me if you don't mind, maybe I can help you not to be ashamed of yourself." Twilight said. Nurse Redheart looked away from Twilight. Twilight touched Nurse Redheart's shoulder as Nurse Redheart spoke.

"This might be shocking but...I'm high fuctioning on the Autism Spectrum Disorder" Nurse Redheart admitted, Twilight almost fell over in shock but quickly recovered. She tried to speak but she couldn't think of a response, she had no idea if she was supposed to respond.

"I had...no idea....you had autism, I mean I know you forget stuff sometimes and you get distracted but i didn't know it was because of that..." Twilight began to say.

"That's alright...I know you think I'm an idiot so I'll just go...I'm a pathetic retard." Nurse Redheart said as she started to cry, Twilight say her down and sat by her.

"Don't ever call yourself that, you are not retarded, having autism doesn't mean your stupid, that's a stereotype, dont be ashamed of yourself and don't say that about yourself either because that upsets me and calling yourself that brings down your self esteem, do you understand? You are not dumb!" Twilight told her. Nurse Redheart knew that Twilight was telling the truth but she wanted to be sure.

"You don't think I'm dumb?" She asked with hesitance in her eyes as she was shocked that Twilight didn't think that she was dumb as a lot of other individuals thought that she was dumb even if it wasn't true. Twilight shook her head no and Nurse Redheart smiled. Nurse Redheart hugged her and then let her go after a few moments as Nurse Redheart tried to switch to another topic Twilight questioned her.

"Who's the pony that called you retarded? I need to know who told you that, they can't get away with calling you that." Twilight asked as she wanted the person who called her that to pay for it. Nurse Redheart hesitated. She was nervous about giving her the identity.

"Nurse Redheart answer me please I must know who called your that, it simply can't go unpunished." Twilight said, Nurse Redheart hesitated and whispered the name in her ear, Twilight thanked Nurse Redheart and hugged her then she ran off in anger and Nurse Redheart hoped she didn't do anything rash.

Meanwhile Diamond Tiara was talking to her friends in school but froze up in fear as Twilight stormed off to Cheerilee's office. A few minutes later Cheerilee and Twilight went up to her.

"Diamond Tiara? Did you call Nurse Redheart retarded?" Cheerilee asked.

"The fuck are you talking about? I haven't been around that idiot for days now!" Diamond Tiara screamed, Nurse Redheart looked at Twilight and shrugged, Twilight thought that Cheerilee would side with Nurse Redheart.

"Is this true Nurse Redheart. Do I have a witness to this other than you." Cheerilee said, as soon as she said that the cutie mark crusaders appeared.

"It's true Cheerilee we heard every word, Diamond Tiara did pick on the school nurse right in front of us!" Sweetie Belle said. Diamond Tiara growled at them but Cheerilee made her face her.

"Diamond Tiara since you haven't learned not to bully others and you keep making fun of those who are different from you, and since you still bully the CMC you will have detention for a month." Cheerilee said. The CMC snickered. Twilight and Nurse Redheart left the school as they were happier than they were before they told on Diamond Tiara. Nurse Redheart was glad that she was able to tell the truth abo what happened to her and she owed a thanks to Twilight for helping her to talk about what happened to her.

"Thanks Twilight I'm glad you helped me, maybe I can get help on leaning on how to stand up for myself and learn how to be more confident even with my autism." Nurse Redheart said. Twilight nodded as she smiled.

"Your welcome Nurse Redheart. You should do that it would help you I'll see you later." Twilight said, Nurse Redheart waved her goodbye as they both went to their homes as Twilight was glad that she could help Nurse Redheart.
