Flight 42 now boarding at gate 12.
"Well, I guess that's my flight." I said as I stood up as a woman stood up next to me. "Well I guess this is goodbye, Azreal."
"I guess so." Azreal said, as she smiled at me. "You've grown so much over the years."
"I've noticed." I said as Azreal laughed. "Anyway, my gear will arrive in a few days after I arrive, correct?"
"That is correct, we'd let you take them with you, but.....airport security." Azreal said as I rolled my eyes. "But it's there for a reason."
"Indeed." I said, as I adjust my jacket. "Don't worry, I'll try to stay out of trouble, but no promises."
"You'd better." Azreal said, as she sighed. "I'll miss you nephew."
"Likewise." I said as we hugged. "My parents sent me here to learn music, only in the end to find out I'm a Kenway." I said jokingly as we left go. "Well, tell Mr. Frye I send my regards, and until we met again."
"Farewell." Azreal said as I walked towards the gate. "Work in the dark."
"To serve the light." I said, to myself as I handed the flight attendant my ticket. "Seven years already."

"Come on Marcato." Azreal said as a young Marcato climbed up the side of a building. "It's not to hard."
"That easy for you to say." The boy snapped back as he pulled himself unto the roof. "I've only been at this for a few weeks, you've had years of experience."
"True." Azreal said as the boy stood up. "You're only nine years old and you've done what most kids your age couldn't."
"Thank dad for that." Marcato said as they sat on the edge of the roof. "He had me take martial arts when I was six until he said I had to leave." He said as he looked away sadly. "I'll never understand why they did that."
"I wish I knew myself." Azreal said as Marcato sighed. "One day you'll find out, but right now, according to what your parents said your stuck with me until your sixteen; until then your stuck training with me." Azreal said as she stood up. "Now follow my lead." She said as she leapt off the roof into a pile of hay.
"OH HELL NO!!!!!" I screamed in response.

"And yet she kept asking why I was afraid of heights." I muttered as I walked down the isle of the plane to my seat. "I wonder how my sister's doing?" I said as I leaned back as the plane began to move. "I shall soon see."
---Canterlot city, U.S.A---
"Hey Girls." A girl with red and orange hair said as she approached a group of girls that stood near a statue. "How was class?"
"Boring as always." One of the girls with rainbow hair responded. "What about you Sunset?"
"Come on Rainbow, we all know you enjoy your brothers class." Sunset said as the group giggled. "Today we did learn some cool stuff in history."
"You've always be a history nut." Rainbow said as Sunset rolled her eyes. "I can't wait for football season to start."
"You and me both Rainbow." A girl with blond hair and a southern accent said. "Ma' brother especially."
"Of course you would be Applejack." A girl with purple hair and a posh accent said as she put lipstick on her lips. "I for one don't condone on such.....barbaric games."
"Footballs awesome Rarity!" A energetic girl with pink puffy hair said appearing next to her. "Just give it one chance, please? I mean Rainbow's brother and Big Mac always seem to enjoy it every time they watch the game by how much they scream."
"I'm sorry pinkie, but the answer is still no. Also I believe that may be the alcohol screaming for them." Rarity said as Pinkie pouted. "Plus, I have things to do tonight anyway."
"I'd join you too, but I have to take care of the animals at the clinic." A girl with light pink hair said with a quiet voice. "Sorry."
"So I guess me, AJ, and Pinkie then?" Rainbow asked as Pinkie nodded. "What about you Sunset?"
"I have to study for a quiz in chemistry on Monday." Sunset said as Rainbow groaned. "Maybe next time." She said as someone bumped into her and fell to the ground. "You alright?" Sunset asked a she turned around to see who bumped into her.
"My apologies." The girl said as she got up. "I'm quite alright, you?"
"I'm fine." Sunset said as she helped the girl pick up her books. "You in a rush Octavia?"
"I am." Octavia said as Sunset noticed sadness in her eyes. "I wish I could stay and talk, but I must get home."
"You okay?" Sunset asked as Octavia nodded and ran off. "What's up with her?"
"No one told you?" Rarity asked as Sunset shrugged. "It's about today."
"I don't follow, what happened today to make Octavia so upset?" Sunset asked as the group gave her sad looks.
"His name was Marcato." Rarity said sadly. "He was Octavia's older brother."
"Was?" Sunset asked sadly. "Did he die?"
"Oh heavens no, he's very much alive." Rarity said. "A longtime ago, his parents shipped him off to England without explanation."
"Why would they do that?" Sunset asked. "By looking at Octavia, they seemed close."
"Not only were they siblings, they were also the best of friends." Rainbow said as a she bounced a soccer ball. "Kinda like the pine twins from gravity falls."
"When ever Octavia got bullied or hurt, he was always there protect her." Applejack said adjusting her hat. "But no one knows why his parents did it, the only time he got into trouble was gettin' into a fight protecting Octavia or some typical 9 year old boy thing."
"Is he ever going to come back?" Sunset asked as the grouped shrugged. "He sound like such a nice person."
"He was." Rarity said as the group walked away from the statue as the hawk flew over head. "He sure was."
---Melody residents---
"Mother, father, I'm home." Octavia said as she entered her house. "Hello?"
"I'm in the living room sweetie." Her mother called from another room. "How was school?"
"Same as always." Octavia said as she entered the living room where her mother was watching television, her mother had long black hair, similar to her daughters, and her eyes were ruby red. "I passed that test today."
"Well done." Her mother said cheerfully as Octavia sighed. "Something on your mind?"
"I'm fine." Octavia said quickly as her mother gave her a worried look. "I'll be in my room if you need me." She said as she went up the stairs to her room.
"Did I hear Octavia?" Her father said as he entered the living room as her mother turned the tv off. He had very dark blue hair and one blue and one grey eye. "Symphony?"
"That was her." Symphony said sadly as she stood up. "She seems depressed, and I think I know why."
"Want me to go cheer her up?" Her husband said with a smirk as Symphony sighed. "I know you want to tell her."
"How would she take it though, to find out that we had to choose between our own two children to stay." Symphony said quietly as a tear rolled down her cheek. "If those b@stard changlings hadn't forced us, she would be happy Bass."
"We had no choice, you know that." Bass said as she grabbed her shoulders. "It was either they both stayed and Octavia gets taken and used for you know what." He said as she slightly cried as his eyes got watery. " We both know he would be safe with your sister."
"He's probably sixteen by know, you know the deal we made." Symphony said she wiped her eyes. "I doubt he would ever want to see us."
"That may be true, but it also could be false." Bass said with a sad smile. "He might be coming home right now, for all we know."
---Canterlot airport---
"Yes I'm fine." I spoke into my phone as I walked out of the airport. "I just landed......Yes I have everything......I'll miss you too auntie." I said as I sighed. "I'll tell them you said hi, I already told you that....Love you too, bye." I said as I hung up. "I already have one mother, I don't need another." I muttered as I walked towards the busy roadway as cars and taxi came and left. "Let's hope they haven't forgotten me."
---Home---
"Dinner almost ready." Bass said as he stood outside of his daughters room. "Tavi?" He called as he sighed. "Probably sleeping." He said as he walked down the hall, only to hear sobs coming from another room. "Tavi, is that you?" He asked as he listened closely for the noise. "Honey, you alright?" He asked he stopped in front of familiar closed door, as the sobbing continued from the other side. "Octavia?" He called as he opened the door to his sons room, and spotted his daughter curled up on the bed crying.
"Why did you have to send him away?" Octavia asked sadly as she stared at the wall as she hugged an old teddy bear. "Why not me?"
"We thought it'd be better if you remained here with your mother." Bass said as Octavia sat up as her father sat on the end of the bed. "If your brother stayed, he would've been forced to join the changelings."
"You've said that before." Octavia said as she put the bear down. "But....why did you send him away?"
"Because....." Her father sighed as she looked at him. "Chysalis mentioned she was afraid of him, something about a bloodline and pirate captain." He said as Octavia eyes widened.
"Dinner's ready." Symphony called as the two looked towards the door.
"If I had the answers, I could answer your questions." Bass said as they got off the bed. "But I don't, and one day, your brother will be back, and that is a promise that cannot be broken."
"I hope he does." Octavia said as she closed the door behind them. "I've been afraid to say it, but I miss him, a lot."
"We all miss him, but your mother doesn't want to say anything." Bass said as they walked down the stairs. "She just doesn't want to talk about him."
"I understand." Octavia said as someone knocked on the door. "I wonder who that could be?'
"I've got it." Her mother said as she walked towards the door. "You two go ahead and eat, I'll be there in a min...."she trailed off as she opened the door and gasped.
"Mother who is it?" Octavia asked as her mother began to cry as she hugged the person. "Father?"
"Honey, what's got you so...." He began as he approached the door.
"Who is it?" Octavia asked as he father opened the door further to reveal who it was. "M-Marcato?"
"I just got here and you're already trying to kill me mom." Her brother said as his mother let go. "I guess you missed me then."

"So....how's your aunt?" My father asked with a nervous tone as we ate dinner. "How was your time in Bristol?"
"If your worried about me being mad at you for sending me away, I'm not," I said as my parents sighed with relief. "I let go of that anger a long time ago."
"I'm glad," My father said as he set his fork down. "Ever since that dreadful day, me and your mother felt nothing but guilt."
"I understand why you did it, " I said with a shrug. "It was to keep us safe."
"I'm glad you do," My mother said as she wiped her mouth. "If we're done focusing on the past, we need to talk about some things."
"Like school?" I asked as mom nodded. "What do you have in mind?"
"Will he being going to C.H.S?" Octavia asked as I looked at her confused. "Canterlot High School?"
"I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the name," I said as I crossed my arms. "But, it sounds like a nice place."
"Lots of friendly people, students and staff alike, " Octavia said as I smiled. "You might remember a few of the students."
"Rainbow and the gang go there?" I asked as Octavia nodded. "I remember them well, great people to be around."
"That settles it then, we'll go down Monday and get you registered,"Bass said as Octavia squealed quietly as I chuckled. " Anything else?"
"Aunt Azreal is sending me a package from Bristol," I said. "It should arrive in the next few days."
"Stuff you couldn't bring on the plane?" Symphony asked as I nodded. "As much as me and your father would like to spend time with you, we have to work tomorrow, I'm sorry."
"I understand," I said as I yawned. "Gives me a chance to get some rest tomorrow."
"Maybe later I could take you down to sugarcube tomorrow?" Octavia asked. "You'll most likely be able to see your friends there."
"Sounds like fun," I said as Bass stood up and grabbed our plates. "Need some help?"
"I've got it," Bass said as he disappeared into the kitchen.
"It's getting late," I said as I stood up. "I'd better get to sleep."
"Same here," Octavia said as we walked to the stairs. "Good night."
"Good night," Symphony said as she stood up and went into the kitchen. "You think he's still mad?"
"He still might be holding a grudge against us, but he seemed genuine with what he said,"Bass said as he finished the dishes. "I'll be honest, I'm quiet surprised that he forgave us."
"You're thinking about when my parents abandoned and disowned me," Symphony said it's a sigh. "I honestly could care less if they want to be in my life, I've still got a great family here."
"Touching," Bass said as he dried his hands. "I better get to sleep, I start my new job tomorrow."
"The one with Abstergo right?" Symphony asked as Bass nodded. "Be careful will you, I heard that Doctor Sombrero runs that place," she said as Bass began to laugh. "That's his name, isn't it?"
"It's Sombra," Bass said as he laughed. "Where did you get Doctor Sombrero from?"
"No idea," Symphony said as Bass's laughs turned into cackling. "Shut up, it's not that funny."
---Marcato--
"Here it is," Octavia said as we entered my old room. "Mother and father put most of your old things in the attic."
"At least they left my models." I said as I walked over to my old dresser and picked up an model of a world war 2 fighter plane. "This one was my favorite."
"I remember you building that one." Octavia said as I set it down. "Why was that your favorite?"
"It was the one we built together." I said as I smiled, but then frowned. "Feels like a lifetime ago."
"It does feel that way." Octavia said with a yawn. "I'm going go to bed, it's good to see you again."
"Likewise." I said with a small smile as she left. "Now I just wait,"I said as I went to my window and opened and heard the sounds sirens blaring and distant sound of gunfire in the night time air. "Mentor wasn't kidding, it has gotten worst over the years."I sighed as police car raced by. "Let's hope this works." I muttered as I closed my eyes and breathed as a faint blue glow started to appear as I reopened my eyes as everything around me was covered in a light blue hue, and dots of red and yellow light filled the area. "I've got a job to do, and it won't be easy," I yawned as my vision turned back to normal. "Still not going to get used to that," I groaned as I got changed and lied down on my bed and fell asleep.
---Next day---
"You guys should've been there," Rainbow said excitedly as the group sat at a table. "The game was awesome."
"Almost all sports for you are awesome," Sunset said as the group giggled as Rainbow blushed. "Anyway, have any you talked to Octavia since yesterday?"
"I tried to call her last night,"Rarity said sadly. "She never answered her phone."
"She's probably going to be depressed for a few days," Rainbow said as she leaned back in her chair. "You know how it is."
"Hey Tavi," Sunset said as she waved to her friend. "You seem happy today."
"Who's this with you?" Rarity asked as Pinkie gasped. "Yes pinkie?"
"MARCATO!!!!!"Pinkie shouted as she ran and got me in a bone crunching hug. "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!"
"Help me," I wheezed out as pinkie let go. "Good to see you too."
"No way," Rainbow said as the group looked at me in shock.
"Hold on, you're Octavia's older brother?" Sunset asked as I nodded. "Nice to meet you, I'm Sunset Shimmer."
"Marcato Melody," I said as we shock hands.
"I must say Marcato." Rarity said as we sat down. "You've grown quite the accent."
"I suppose that living in England for seven years would do that to you," I said as scratched my chin. "How's life been here?"
"Fine, well as life can be with the gangs, and changelings pretty much controlling the city," Rainbow said annoyed as I rolled my eyes. "I know, right?"
"How's your brother doing by the way, Crimson right?" I asked.
" Well other than last night he's fine, he works at C.H.S now,"Rainbow said. "He started after he got shot when he fought in the changeling war."
"I remember that,"I said as chuckled. "Things did change while I was gone."
"In more ways than one," Sunset said. "So, what was it like living Bristol?"
"Different than living back in the U.S. it took awhile to get used to the time zones." I replied.
"Wait is Crimson okay?" Twilight asked.
"As far as I know he just started talking randomly and yelling. At one point he started cackling loudly in a deep voice then speed off in his car." Rainbow replied.
---C.E.O of Abstergo---
"Here's the last of the paperwork,"A woman said as she handed a man with dark hair and red eyes. "Also the new employee came in today."
"Ah yes, Bass Melody if I recall,"The man said as he looked through the papers. "How is he fairing?"
"Quiet well, even thought it was his first day,"The woman said. "Also, the Grand Master says he needs to speak with you."
"What line is he on?"The man asked the woman gulped nervously. "Send him in." He said as the woman rushed to the door and opened it as man with grey hair and yellow eyes walked in,"Master Tirek."
"Sombra,"Tirek said as the woman ran out in fear as she nearly bumped into a hooded figure behind Tirek."How goes progress?"
"Slowly,"Sombra said as Tirek sat down and his guard propped himself against the wall. "We've got two of the three brotherhoods here in Canterlot and nearby towns."
"Good work."Tirek said with a smile. "Also, I've heard from a rouge that an assassin has recently come home."
"Must be that Melody boy," Sombra said as he stood up walked to the window. "Should I inform Chrysalis?"Sombra asked as Tirek shook his head and motioned for his guard to come forward.
"Actually I have a new 'employee' that could really use the training and can show us his true skills." Tirek said as the hooded figure opened his eyes only to show them slowly turn black and red.
"I see I will inform Chrysalis to be on standby just in case. It's not like I doubt your choice Master Tirek it's just better to be safe than sorry." Sombra responded.
"Very well." Tirek said as he walked out and the guard followed behind him. "Keep up the good work."
"Later Sombrero." The hooded man said in a deep and low voice as he walked out.
"Why do I suddenly want a burrito?"Sombra asked himself.

"Are you certain you saw her?" A woman said as a group of assassins surrounded a table.
"We did indeed." One of the Assassin spoke." Chrysalis has indeed returned."
"It looks like the Templars are moving faster then we thought." The woman said nervously as the door opened as an Assasin limped." What happened?" She said as a few ran to his aid.
"I was spotted following Tirek." He said as he coughed up blood." They brought in someone or something."
"Who were they?" The woman said as the wounded Assassin sat down with the help of the others.
"He called himself the Predator ." He said as he wheezed." And before you ask about the back up you sent with me, he made quick work with them." He sighed as the group looked at each other with worry." What should we do Sage?"
"If we don't act fast, it will be the great purge all over again." Sage said as she looked out the window." The best we can do is go into hiding until help arrives."
"I'll send word to Azreal and her brotherhood." One of Assassin spoke." We should call in the Caribbean brotherhood, and the Egyptian brotherhoods."
"We'll need everyone if it comes to it." Sage said as a gunshot was heard as man wearing a black and red trench coat, he also had black gloves and black boots, and wore a mask covering his mouth and nose, only showing his eyes as a black and red hat covered his head." You must be the Predator?"
"And you are the prey." The Predator spoke as changelings charged shooting at the assasins."
---Present---
"So...what music did you learn while you were away?" Octavia asked as we walked to school.
"Oh..a little this, little that." I answered. "Mostly Piano."
"You always did enjoy Piano." Octavia smiled as we stopped at a light. "Vinyl will be so happy to see you."
"She's at Chs as well?" I asked as Octavia nodded. "Huh...small world, I haven't seen her since...."
"Please don't bring that back up....I still remember it to this day." Octavia sighed as I chuckled. "Marcato...it is good to see you after so long."
"Same sis, I missed you and everyone else while I was in Bristol." We shared a smile as the light changed letting us cross. "By the way, what classes do you have?"
"Sadly, the only one I have that's with you is P.E." Octavia sighed.
"Such a shame, but hey, we got lunch and after school to catch up on old times." I said as the school came into view.
"We do...I think mom and dad were planning something for us tonight." Octavia said.
"Yeah, I think some kinda of special dinner." I said as we entered the school. "See you at P.E."

"Your bother is nice." Sunset said as herself and Octavia got ready for the last class of the day.
"He usually is with most people." Octavia said as she closed her locker. "Honestly...I thought he would be bitter..."
"Why?" Sunset asked...then it dawned on her."Oh..."
"Yeah, anyway..let's head to class." Octavia said as the girls started to head to the gym.
"Alright, you know the drill...ten laps around the gym followed by ten push ups, afterwards...We'll get to the real fun." Couch Spitfire said as the students started running.
"Somthis is how you start off your P.E. class?" I asked as Octavia nodded.
"Yes, the rest of period we do different activities." Octavia said. "It also depends on if there's some kind of competition coming up."
"Oh." I smirked remembering the training I went through with my aunt. "Now then..let see who's faster." I picked up my pace as Octavia started to chase after me."
-----Outskirts of Canterlot city-----
"So...what cha you tell us?" The predator asked as he looked down at a wounded assassin.
"I won't tell you anything...not to you..not to the Templars." The Assassin glared. "Besides....you haven't told me what you wanted?"
"Equestria....where is it located?" The predator asked.
"I'm sorry...but I don't know what your..(WHAM)..." The assassin was met with a punch to the face.
"I won't ask again....where is the portal to Equestria?" The Predator asked as he aimed his gun at the Assassins head.
"I'd rather die then tell you..."
"That can be arranged." The Predator shot and killed the Assassin as he looked at the changelings. "Hide the body..then started searching this city from top to bottom...I don't care how's you do it..." the Changlongs laughed as they got to work. "I will not fail.."
"Where other men blindly follow the truth, remember..." A voice said as a group of people in white robes surrounded a brazier filled with fire
"Nothing is true." A young teenager said looking down in a black robe similar to the others.
"Where other men are limited by morality or law,” The first voice said. “Remember...”
"Everything's permitted," The teenager answered as the fire crackled.
"We work in the dark to serve the light...” The first continued as the teen looked up.
"We are Assassins." The group said, in unison.
"Welcome young Marcato Melody." The first said, as the group clapped and one slapped Marcato on the back.
"Thank you mentor." Marcato said as he pulled back his hood to reveal midnight blue hair with a black streak down the side.
"'Bout time." One of the Assassins said, as he playfully punched Marcato on the shoulder as the group surrounded him and congratulated the boy.
"Thanks guys." Marcato said as the mentor approached him. "For everything."
”You are quite welcome.” the mentor said, with a smile, “But there is some things we must go over first.” He said, as Marcato nodded. “Since you’ll be returning home, you must be careful, the templars still have a tight grip on your home.”
"So I've heard." Marcato said as the mentor stared at him as marcato cleared his throat. "Please...continue."
"They have made powerful allies in Canterlot city, such as Tirek and Sombra." The mentor said as Marcato listened. "When we took you in, the changelings control of your home had become stronger, luckily, your family is okay."
"Does my family know about us?" Marcato asked as the mentor shook his head, "so, keep it secret then?"
"For the time being, when the time comes you may tell them." The mentor said as he placed a hand on Marcatos shoulder. "Until then, work in the dark."
"Understood." The boy said as the mentor smiled as he removed his hand. "Anything else?"
"There is one thing, a few of your friends decided to throw a party for you before you depart." The mentor said the group left the room. "So eat, drink, AND BE MERRY!!!"
