On one day, an unusual day almost everyday in Equestria, these two lovebirds went on an adventure to heal Twilight and her friends from a very severe sickness. But before this happened, Both the unicorn and earth pony became coltfriend and marefriend. It has been a long time of parting ways, and Ian had been meaning to see Moondancer again. Our story begins with Ian who's busy on a walk. "Sure is a nice day today." Ian thought. "Maybe I should see Twilight and my friends." And that's exactly what he did. Later at Twilight's castle, Ian knocked on the front door and Twilight answered it. "Hello Ian." said Twilight. "How are you today?" "I'm fine." Ian answered. "How about you?" "I'm fine." "Anything new?" Ian asked. "Nothing much has happened." "Oh ok." "Would you like to come in?" Twilight asked. "Sure." replied Ian as he walked inside. Ian was amazed by the way the inside of the castle had looked. "It sure is beautiful." "Why thank you." replied Twilight. As they got closer to the throne room, Ian saw his friends Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Spike. "Hi guys." said Ian. "Hello Ian." Fluttershy said. "Sup?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Well I do remember a few months ago I went on a vacation to Canterlot and met a familiar face." Ian answered. "Who was it?" asked Twilight. "The familiar face I met on my vacation was a pony named Moondancer." "You met Moondancer?!" Twilight asked surprised. "That's right." "When did you first meet my friend?" "It started when I was busy eating at a Canterlot restaurant until I saw Moondancer. She looked sad, so I went up to her and asked what was wrong. She said that she didn't have a special somepony for Hearts and Hooves day. So I decided to take matters into my own hooves and be Moondancer's coltfriend for the day." Ian explained. "Wow!" exclaimed Twilight. "What happened next?" Pinkie Pie asked. "We spent the rest of the day talking. I was expecting this to be a minor thing before I would leave in a few days. But it grew into something neither of us expected. We became coltfriend and marefriend! We later had a very special date during my vacation. A few days later it was time for me to leave, so I arrived back in Ponyville and here I am now." Ian said. "What a good story." said Rarity. "And she even gave me this." said Ian as he pulled out the sweater that he was given by Moondancer. "That's a nice sweater." said Rarity. "Does it fit?" she asked. "Yep. How do I look?" Ian asked. "You look very nice darling." "Thanks." Much later, Ian went home to get some rest. "Man what a day it's been." Ian said to himself. He fell asleep for the night. Ian dreamed that one day he would see Moondancer again because of how much he missed her. The next day, Ian woke up and went to go see his friends before leaving for Canterlot again so they could have a fun time together. "I wonder if my friends are free to hangout?" Ian wondered. But before Ian could think of anything else, Ian heard a vomit sound. His sensitive ears and strange sense of hearing could pick it up. "Where's that sound coming from?" Ian thought. Ian looked all over Ponyville but Ian couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from. "I've looked all over Ponyville and I don't know who's throwing up." Ian said softly to himself. When Ian arrived at Twilight's castle, he heard the sound again. Ian knocked on the door and Twilight answered it. "Hello Ian." said Twilight who had an ill looking face. "Good gravy Twilight!" said Ian in surprise. "You look awful." "I'm not the only one sick." Twilight said as Spike walked up to Ian. "Hey Ian." Spike said as he coughed. "Spike, you too?" Ian asked "I'm afraid so." Later Ian arrived at Sweet Apple Acres to find a sick looking Applejack. "Oh my Celestia!" Ian exclaimed. "Applejack you're sick too?” "Uh huh." Applejack answered as her stomach growled terribly. "Maybe Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and the others are feeling fine." Ian thought. Later, Ian arrived at Rarity's Carousel Boutique. Ian knocked on the door to see if Rarity was home. She answered. "Oh, hello Ian." said Rarity in a sick looking tone. "First Twilight, then Spike, then Applejack, and now you Rarity." "We caught this sickness last night." said Rarity. "Maybe the rest are still fit and well?" Ian thought. Later Ian was walking he saw vomit fall right in front of him. "That was close." Ian said. "Otherwise I would've gotten sick too or just plain gross." Ian looked to see where the vomit came from and turns out the vomit came from Rainbow Dash. "Oh, hey Ian." said Rainbow Dash. "Let me guess you're sick too." said Ian with an annoyed look on his face. "Yep." "Well I'll see you later until you get better." said Ian as he walked off to go see if Pinkie Pie or Fluttershy were ok. Later, as Ian arrived at Sugar Cube Corner, Ian walked in to see Mrs. Cake greet him. “Good day, Ian.” she said. “Hi Mrs. Cake. Is Pinkie here?” “She’s in her room. Apparently there’s this sickness she’s got and probably the rest of them have it too.” “I noticed.” “Well, she’s upstairs if you want to talk to her.” Ian walked up to Pinkie’s room and knocked. “Come in!” Pinkie tried to call but was raspy due to her sore throat. "Hello Ian." said Pinkie Pie in a sick tone. "Looks like you're sick too." Ian guessed. "I am." “I don’t get it. Why is this happening?” Ian asked. “Maybe you should check on Fluttershy. She probably didn’t get it for being so far from Ponyville.” "Ok. Well I guess I'll see you later then." Ian said as he walked off. "Only one friend left." Ian said to himself. Ian later arrived at Fluttershy's cottage and knocked on the door to see if she was there. With luck, she wasn’t sick like Pinkie thought. Fluttershy answered and was the worse looking pony of all. Fluttershy's face was all green and she had purple spots all over her. "Ai ei ei. Fluttershy you look very terrible. What happened?" Ian asked in shock. "Me and my friends caught a very severe case of pony purple pox." Fluttershy said. "Oh my. It does look severe." said Ian. Ian had to find a way to cure his friends from the sickness. "He went back to Twilight's to get some info on how to cure her and her friends. "Oh, Ian it's you." said Twilight. "Yeah, I was wondering if there is a way to cure you and your friends." Ian said. "Well there is one way." "There is?" Ian asked. "The only way to cure me and my friends is a rare magic flower called Magicus Healus. It's located outside of Canterlot in a very ancient temple that was ruled years ago but some say that the ghost of the ruler may come back to haunt." Twilight explained. Ian knew what he had to do. "I'll get that flower and cure you and your friends!" said Ian with a determined look on his face. "Good luck." said Twilight. Ian headed home, grabbed his money to stock up on food on his adventure, and started his adventure. "I think first things first, I'd better pay Moondancer a visit." Ian thought. Ian boarded the Ponyville Express to take him to Canterlot. The train pulled out and headed out for Canterlot where Ian would meet Moondancer. Chapter 2 The Adventure BeginsAs the train was heading to Canterlot, Ian was busy planning his adventure during the train ride. “Now if I were to find the temple I would need a map.” Ian thought. As the hours went by, the more Ian planned his adventure. Much later when the Ponyville Express arrived in Canterlot, Ian was ready, but first he had to tell Moondancer what was going on. Ian headed off to see Moondancer. He then saw her walking along the path. “Moondancer!” Ian called out. “Ian!” said Moondancer. “Longtime no see.” they hugged each other. “Moondancer there’s something I need to tell you.” Ian said. “What is it?” Moondancer asked. “Twilight and her friends caught this sickness called Pony Purple Pox.” Ian said “What’s Pony Purple Pox? Moondancer asked “Pony Purple Pox is this sickness that makes you have green skin and purple spots all over your body.” Ian explained “Oh my! That’s terrible. Is there a cure?” Moondancer said “The only way to cure Twilight and her friends is to find this rare flower called Magicus Healus.” Ian told Moondancer “But how are we going to find it?” Moondancer asked. “Twilight did say that it was located at a very ancient temple that was ruled long ago but now a ghost lives there.” Ian explained “Oh wow. But how are we gonna get there?” Moondancer asked “We’ll need a map that will guide us to the ancient temple of Magicus Healus. We’d better look for a book that has the map.” Ian said “And I think I know just the place to look.” said Moondancer Ian and Moondancer searched high and low and every cranny and nook for a book that had the map to the Magicus Healus temple. “Now which book would have the map?” Ian thought. Every book they found on adventure maps, Ian and Moondancer couldn’t find any of the books that had the map that led to the Magicus Healus temple. “So far we haven’t found anything.” Just then they saw a book inside a trashcan. It was old, worn, a few pages either fading or missing. It was the exact definition of worse for wear. “I wonder what’s in this book?” Ian thought. Ian opened the book and a folded up piece of paper fell out. “What’s this?” Ian wondered as he saw the paper on the ground. Ian picked up the paper and unfolded it to reveal a map. “I think I’ve found the map to where we’re going.” he said to himself Ian then caught up with Moondancer to tell her. “I found it in a really old and worn out book in the trash. I think this might lead us to the Magicus Healus temple.” “Perfect. I should probably go lock the door to my house first before we head out.” “Great idea.” And that’s exactly what she did. Then the unicorn and earth pony headed out to start their adventure. “Now we should follow the map. And we’ll find the temple but we need to beware of the ghost that haunts the temple.” The two ponies headed down the path that was stated on the map. “This adventure might give us an estimate of a few days.” Ian said. “Or who knows how long it might take.” Moondancer stated. “But what really matters right now is that Twilight and her friends are counting on us.” Ian and Moondancer followed every direction on the map to find the temple that kept the Magicus Healus flower. Three days later, their food supplies had run out and the two were starving. “We’re gonna die if we don’t find at least something to eat. It’s been at least three days since we haven’t had any real food.” said Ian. “But where in the name of Equestria are we gonna find some food here in this forest?” said Moondancer Ian and Moondancer looked all over the forest for some food. “Have you found anything?” Ian asked. “I found nothing. How about you?” “I found nothing. Zilch! Nada! Let’s face it. We’ll never find anything to eat.” But Ian spoke too soon because a bunch of bananas fell on Ian’s head from a tree. “I guess these bananas will suffice.” said Ian The two ponies ate as they walked. “Good thing we found some bananas to help us keep our energy up.” Moondancer said. “I wonder what we’ll find to drink?” said Ian. Ian then saw a freshwater spring up ahead. “I think we found some fresh water. That might help.” said Moondancer They then drank some water to keep their energy. “Much better.” said Ian “At least now we found some bananas and some water.” said Moondancer. The two ponies continued until sunset. Ian saw a cave up ahead. “We can stop here for the night.” he said. Both of them set up a fire, and with a few mishaps of losing the fire, they finally had one warm enough to keep them warm from the cold cave. “This should keep us warm.” Moondancer said. Later that night, Ian and Moondancer were both fast asleep until they heard a sound. “What was that?” Ian asked. “I don’t know. We should go investigate what it was.” Then the two ponies went deeper into the cave to investigate the sound. As they went deeper into the cave, it got darker and darker and the noise got louder and louder. “I can’t see a thing in here.” said Ian Moondancer then used her horn and she and Ian were face to face with a big red dragon. The dragon roared. Ian and Moondancer screamed and made a run for it. “You should’ve told me this was a dragon’s cave before we bunked here.” Moondancer called as she and Ian ran. “I know I should’ve and I’m sorry I didn’t.” Ian called back. Then the two made a narrow escape out of the cave as the red dragon blew fire at them. “Yeow my biscuits are burning!” exclaimed Ian. Luckily there was a pond up ahead and Ian cooled off his flank there. “Are you ok Ian?” Moondancer asked “Man that smarts. Not to mention some of my tail burned off” said Ian who sat in the pond. “Luckily we made a narrow escape.” Moondancer replied. “We sure did. But where are we gonna sleep?” Ian wondered. Ian then saw a cavern behind a waterfall. “Maybe in there?” he said pointing to the cavern. Ian then remembered to check to see if anybody was in this cavern. When Ian and Moondancer looked around, the cavern looked deserted. “It’s empty in here so we should sleep here for the night.” said Ian “First we should check to see if there are any dragons in here.” suggested Moondancer Ian and Moondancer looked around for any sign of dragons but there was no dragon to be seen.” “Good. All is well.” Ian declared. But Ian spoke too soon once again because inside the cavern was a very light blue baby dragon that was cold and lonely. “I think we’re not alone.” said Ian. Ian walked up to the baby dragon. “Hello. I’m Ian and this is Moondancer.” he introduced “What’s your name?” Moondancer asked. “My name is Sapphire and I’m an orphaned baby dragon.” “Pleased to meet you.” said Ian. “So what are you doing here in this cavern?” Sapphire asked. “We needed a place to sleep for the night. You see we’re on an adventure to find the Magicus Healus flower that is kept in the Magicus Healus temple. The reason why is that some of our friends are sick with a case of Pony Purple Pox.” “Oh my.” “Sounds terrible.” “It does.” “I would be able to accompany you but I’m too scared.” “Don’t worry. Me and Moondancer will be right here to accompany every step of the way.” Then Sapphire felt much better. “Thanks. I’m starting to feel much better that now I know you two are gonna help me out.” “Besides Twilight and her friends are counting on us.” “Twilight as in Twilight Sparkle?” Sapphire asked. “Yep.” answered Ian. “Oh I’ve heard of her. She’s a good hero for Equestria.” “And she’s also a longtime friend of mine.” Moondancer added. “We could tell you more but we need to get some rest.” “Oh ok.” And later Ian,Moondancer,and Sapphire fell fast asleep. The next day Ian,Moondancer,and Sapphire woke up to find some breakfast. The three friends looked all over until Ian saw two eggs. “Poached eggs anyone?” Ian asked. Ian cooked the eggs while Sapphire used her fire breath to keep the poached eggs nice and hot. Then Ian felt something inside his sweater. He pulled out three slices of bread. “Looks like we’ll have some toast too.” After breakfast, the three friends headed out to continue their adventure to find the Magicus Healus flower that rests in the Magicus Healus temple. Chapter 4 Ghost chase and the feastIan looked in one room of the temple. While he looked he saw an inscription written on the wall. “This temple used to belong to the ruler of the temple of the Magicus Healus flower and was a greedy ruler who only kept the flower for himself. Many brave explorers tried to arrest this greedy king for his actions but none prevailed. Until one day a bolt of lightning struck and the king was turned to ashes. Now only his ghost haunts this very temple for anyone who tries to grab the flower where it is kept. So watch out for the ghost that might come back to haunt you or you might end up like him.” “I’d better be careful” Ian thought as he continued his search. Meanwhile Moondancer and Sapphire were looking for the room which had the flower kept in. “The flower should be in this temple somewhere.” said Sapphire. “I’ve been trying to find the room and so far it resulted in my glasses being covered in cobwebs.” said Moondancer. “We should watch out for the ghost.” said Sapphire. Later the three friends met back with each other. “So far I found an inscription.” said Ian. “And we got covered in cobwebs.” “I guess that long hallway over there might be our only solution.” said Moondancer. They walked the long hallway until they saw a door at the end and opened it. And much to their surprise the flower was sitting in there. “There it is.” said Ian. “I guess there’s no ghost here.” said Sapphire but she was wrong. There were ghostly sounds coming from the temple and the door to the long hallway closed by itself. This made Ian and his friends jump. “What was that?” Ian asked who was shaking Then a ghostly figure spawned right in front of them. “GHOST!” The three friends shouted. Then the ghost chased after the trio. The three friends were almost free but Ian accidentally triggered a trap with captured Ian and Moondancer in a cage. “Oh no!” Sapphire exclaimed. “What am I gonna do! I gotta get them outta there!” The ghost laughed wildly. “Now you three are gonna pay.” the ghost snarled. “No!” whimpered Sapphire. “Pay!” the ghost snarled again. Sapphire shook in fear. Then she remembered to be brave. “I will not pay! You are a big greedy, meany, ghost!” Ian and Moondancer watched in amazement as they saw Sapphire start to take down the ghostly king. “Go Sapphire!” exclaimed Ian. After Sapphire finished him up, the king ghost wasn’t finished yet. “Minions! Attack!” the ghost commanded. Then some skeletons charged to attack. One skeleton hit Sapphire in the stomach. Sapphire growled and attacked everyone of the skeletons. Sapphire then let out a gust of flames which burned the rope that was holding the cage and it broke setting Ian and Moondancer free. “We’re free.” said Ian and Moondancer. Ian and Moondancer ran up to Sapphire and hugged her for her bravery. “Sapphire that was awesome.” said Moondancer. “You were really brave back there.” said Ian. “Now let’s get rid of this ghost.” said Sapphire. Then Ian pulled out a portable vacuum and sucked up the ghost. “Let’s see them show that in Luigi’s Mansion.” said Ian with a brave expression on his face. Later the three friends made it back to the room where the flower was kept,grabbed it, and then the temple started to collapse. “Oh no! The whole place is falling down.” said Moondancer. “Let’s get out of here.” said Ian. The trio made it out of the temple safe and sound. “We made it.” said Sapphire who jumped up and down with joy. Suddenly there was an arousing sound of applause. It was the villagers from Mangopony. “What a stunning performance.” said the village leader. “You three managed to defeat the spirit.” the salespony said. “So in honor of you three saving the day, You three shall be honored with a feast.” said the village leader Later that night back at the Mangopony village, the feast was in full swing for the little circle of pony and dragon friends. “Fellow villagers, we are gathered here tonight in honor of our three heroes who vanquished the ghost and found the flower to give thanks for all their bravery.” the village leader said. Applause echoed in the village. The feast happened as Ian, Moondancer, and Sapphire were busy having a good time. “First we were normal now we’re treated as Gods.” said Moondancer who was drinking some mango juice. “I know.” said Ian. “Anyways first thing tomorrow we head back to Ponyville to make the medicine to cure our friends from the Pony Purple Pox.” he explained. “What are your friends like?” Sapphire asked. “Well, once you meet them I’m sure you’ll understand.” Ian answered. Later after the feast was over Ian, Moondancer, and Sapphire settled down for the night in a hut to themselves. Moondancer was reading while Ian was tucking Sapphire in. “Good night Sapphire.” said Ian. Then he kissed her forehead. And Sapphire fell fast asleep. Then Ian got into bed and said something to Moondancer. “What a day it’s been.” he said with an exhausted expression on his face. “I know.” said Moondancer as she closed her book and yawned. Then Ian glanced at Sapphire and was worried for the poor baby dragon. "But poor Sapphire has nopony to take care of her." "I think you should take care of Sapphire since she rescued us and you were helping and encouraging her to be brave from the start of this adventure." Moondancer suggested. Ian thought about Moondancer's suggestion. "Maybe you're right." said Ian. "I'll tell Sapphire tomorrow that I've decided to take care of her but right now,I need to get some rest." Ian said. "I think we both do." said Moondancer as she and Ian giggled. "Good night." said Ian as he yawned. Then Ian and Moondancer fell asleep and dreamed about the trip home that would happen tomorrow. Chapter 5 The MedicineThe next morning, Ian, Moondancer, and Sapphire headed back to Canterlot where Minuette, Lemon Hearts, and Twinkleshine were seeing what was going on. “Hey Moondancer.” said Minuette. “Where were you a few days ago?” Lemon Hearts asked. “And who are those two?” Twinkleshine asked. “This is my coltfriend Ian and my new friend Sapphire.” Moondancer walked up to Ian and Sapphire. “These are my friends Minuette, Lemon Hearts, and Twinkleshine.” “Pleased to meet you all.” said Sapphire. “Moondancer’s told us so much about you Ian.” said Lemon Hearts. “Yeah we were just on an adventure and we were about to head back to Ponyville.” Ian said. “Oh ok.” said Minuette. Much later, the two ponies and dragon took the Ponyville Express back to Ponyville. They arrived there a few hours later. “Here we are back in Ponyville.” said Ian. “Sure is nice here.” said Sapphire. “Now to head to my house to make the medicine.” Later at Ian’s house the three friends set to work. “We’ll need a bowl to mix.” said Ian. Sapphire brought the bowl over to Ian. Ian then pulled out the map and flipped it over and it had a recipe on the back of the map. “First it requires some Mango juice.” said Ian. “Next we need some kind of sweet spice to make it more tasty.” Ian, Moondancer, and Sapphire looked around in Ian’s kitchen for any spices that were sweet. Finally Ian found a sweet spice, which was rosemary, for the medicine. “Lastly we need the petals of the Magicus Healus flower.” said Sapphire. Sapphire then plucked the petals off the flower and put them in the medicine. “Now to mix it all together.” said Moondancer. “Perfect.” said Sapphire. “Let’s get the medicine to our friends.” said Ian. First the three friends stopped at Sugar Cube Corner. Mrs Cake saw them. “Hello Ian. Who are your friends?” Mrs. Cake asked. “This is my marefriend Moondancer and this is my new friend Sapphire.” “We’ve come to see a miss Pinkie Pie?” said Sapphire. “Pinkie Pie is upstairs sweetie.” said Mrs Cake. The three of them walked upstairs and knocked on the door. “Come in.” said Pinkie Pie still in a raspy voice. “We made you some medicine to cure you and your friends.” said Ian. Pinkie Pie saw Moondancer and Sapphire. “Who are those two?” Pinkie Pie asked. “I’m Moondancer and this is Sapphire.” Moondancer answered. Pinkie Pie took a sip, and after a few seconds, was feeling better. “Yay. I’m all better now.” said Pinkie Pie who jumped out of the bed. “One down, five to go.” said Sapphire. Later the three friends were at Sweet Apple Acres. Ian knocked on the door and Apple Bloom and Big Mac answered. “Howdy Ian.” said Apple Bloom. She then noticed Moondancer and Sapphire. “Who are your friends?” “This is Moondancer and Sapphire.” said Ian. “Howdy there. I’m Apple Bloom and I’m Applejack’s sister.” said Apple Bloom. “Pleased to meet you Apple Bloom.” said Sapphire. “Speaking of Applejack is she here?” Moondancer asked. “Eeyup.” Big Mac answered. “She’s upstairs.” said Apple Bloom. The trio walked upstairs. “Come in.” said Applejack in a raspy tone. “My friends made the medicine to cure you.” said Ian. Applejack felt the effects almost immediately. “Yee haw! That’s much better.” she said happily. “Let’s keep going.” Moondancer said. Then later at Rarity’s Carousel Boutique, they were greeted by Sweetie Belle. “Hi Ian!” she said. “Who are they?” “This is Moondancer, Twilight’s friend, and this is Sapphire.” “Are you here to see Rarity?” “We are. We have the medicine for her.” They went up to Rarity’s bedroom which also served as her workshop. “Hello darlings.” Rarity said. “Hey Rares. We got something for you.” The medicine was served and after Rarity sipped it up, she was feeling much better. “Thank you very much darlings.” said Rarity. “Anytime.” said Moondancer. Later, Ian and friends went to Cloudsdale to cure Rainbow Dash. "Rainbow Dash are you there?" Ian asked. Rainbow Dash looked out of her window "I'm right here." answered Rainbow Dash She then saw Moondancer and Sapphire with the medicine. "We made a medicine to cure you and your friends from your sickness." said Sapphire Rainbow Dash then drank the medicine and was feeling so much better. “Aww Yeah.I’m back to normal.Thanks for your help guys.” Rainbow Dash said with excitement. "Anytime Rainbow Dash." replied Ian. Then the trio headed all the way to Fluttershy’s cottage. “Hello Fluttershy.” said Ian. “Hi Ian.” said Fluttershy “We made a medicine to cure you.” said Sapphire. They then served the medicine to Fluttershy who couldn’t have felt the most well. “Yay. I’m feeling much better.” said Fluttershy happily. Then the trio headed to Twilight’s castle. Ian knocked on the door and Twilight answered it. “Ian you’re back from your adventure.” said Twilight. Then she noticed Moondancer. “And I see you brought Moondancer with you.” “I also brought a baby dragon named Sapphire.” Sapphire walked up to Twilight. “OMG!” I can’t believe I’m meeting the one and only Twilight Sparkle.” said Sapphire happily and let out a fangirl squee. “What’s going on?” Spike said. Then he saw Sapphire. “Well,well,well. Looks like Ian found a baby dragon like me.” he said with a smirk on his face. “Spike this is Sapphire.” said Ian. “Hi Spike.” said Sapphire. “We also have a medicine to cure you both.” said Moondancer. Ian then gave Twilight and Spike the medicine and they were cured. “We’re cured.” said Spike. “Thank you so much for helping us.” said Twilight. The next day in the throne room, Twilight had a little speech for the group of adventurers. “For retrieving the flower and saving us from our sickness, we present to you three with this.” Then Twilight showed a stained glass window with the trio on it. “Wow!” Sapphire exclaimed. “Thank you so much Twilight.” said Moondancer. Then there was a knock at the door. It was the rest of Twilight’s friends. “Welcome my friends.” said Twilight. “We also have surprises for our helpers.” said Pinkie Pie. First Applejack presented a bag of gems for Sapphire. Then Rarity put capes on our three heroes. Then Pinkie Pie gave some cupcakes to them. And finally the biggest surprise of all was back at Canterlot. Later at Princess Celestia’s castle, a ceremony was held for Ian, Moondancer, and Sapphire. “In honor of you three saving my faithful student from a very severe sickness, you three are granted with medals.” Princess Celestia said. “Thank you your highness.” said Ian. Later that night Ian and Moondancer said their goodbyes. “It was fun seeing you again.” said Ian. “It was fun seeing you again too.” said Moondancer. “Well I guess this is goodbye for now.” They all hugged each other goodbye. Then Ian got Sapphire into bed. “Good night Sapphire.” said Ian and he kissed her forehead and Sapphire fell asleep. Ian got into bed and dreamed of the adventure that he and his friends had and would never forget. Chapter 3 Mangopony Village and The Temple EnteranceIan, Moondancer, and Sapphire later came across an old, wooden, rickety bridge. And at the bottom was a very deep gorge. “We’d better cross this bridge.” said Moondancer. “I’m not so sure.” said Sapphire who was shaking in fear. “We’ll be fine. Just don’t look down and you’ll be ok.” Ian assured. So the trio began to cross the bridge. They were halfway across until a plank of the bridge broke off causing Sapphire to look down. Sapphire screamed in fear and jumped on top of Ian. “You looked down didn’t you.” said Ian. “Yeah I did.” Sapphire admitted. “Ok hold on and don’t let go.” said Ian in an annoyed tone. After the three friends made it across the bridge they saw another obstacle to cross. A big river. “We should find a bridge to cross the river.” said Moondancer. The three friends looked for a bridge but there was no bridge to be seen. "There has to be a bridge somewhere to cross." said Sapphire who looked around. Finally, Ian saw one up ahead. “There’s one.” said Ian pointing to the bridge. They crossed the bridge. One across, the three friends came across a village. “Wow. What a nice place.” said Moondancer. “Welcome travelers to the village of Mangopony.” said the village leader walking up to them. "We here have our own shops and vacant rooms for you three weary travelers to stay at anytime." the village leader said. Ian's stomach growled. "I could go for some food right now." said Ian as he looked for something to eat. Ian then saw a coconut tree and climbed it. He tried to pull the coconut off but it didn’t come off until Ian fell with a thud and the coconut fell off the tree and hit him on the head. “Ow!” exclaimed Ian. “Are you ok Ian?” Moondancer asked as she and Sapphire ran up to him. “I think so.” replied Ian “But at least you can make coconut milk with this coconut.” Sapphire replied. Later Ian saw a sale at a hut and went up to it. “Welcome sir. We’re selling some bottles of tasty mango soda and they only cost one bit each.” said a seller. Ian pulled out his piggy bank. “I’ll take it all. I hope this is enough.” he said in frantic excitement. “Ian don’t waste all your cash in your piggy bank on bottles and bottles of soda.” said Moondancer. “Yeah do you honestly think buying all that is gonna make you happy?” Sapphire added. Ian thought about what the results were if he bought every last one of the mango soda bottles. “I guess not.” Ian answered. Maybe I should save some cash for other important things.” Ian decided to only buy one bottle so he payed one bit for the soda. “We also need to get going on our quest to cure our friends.” said Moondancer. “Yes we should.After all our friends are counting on us and if we don't cure them they'll die of sickness.” said Ian. He turned to the village leader. “Do you know anything about the Magicus Healus temple?” he asked “Oh! You wouldn’t want to go there! The spirit will haunt you for sure!” the village leader warned. “We know. We aren’t afraid. We just need the flower inside.” explained Moondancer “If that is what you wish, may the Gods protect you three.” the village leader said. “Thank you.” Moondancer said. Later the three friends said goodbye as they left the village to continue their adventure to find the flower that rested in the Magicus Healus temple. “Those native ponies sure are friendly.” said Sapphire. “Yeah I know.” said Ian. “And they sure are productive a lot too.” said Moondancer. Later the three friends found a waterfall up ahead. “Wow. What a breathtaking sight.” said Sapphire. “Wanna go for a swim guys?” Ian asked. “No thanks.” said Moondancer. “Sure.” said Sapphire. Ian took off his sweater. Then he and Sapphire went for a swim in the lake while Moondancer relaxed in the sun. Ian and Sapphire played in the water for three hours straight. "It reminds me of that one time I went swimming in my pool back in Ponyville." Ian said. He could remember the time when he was a little colt swimming in a kiddie pool. "Ah. Those were the days. The fun days but still they were the days." After swimming Ian and Sapphire dried off and Ian put his sweater back on. When they caught up to Moondancer, she looked a bit red. "Wow Moondancer you look like you got cooked." said Ian as he laughed. "Oh be quiet." said Moondancer. Much later, the three friends continued their journey. “Mane, what a swim that was.” said Ian. “I sure had fun.” Sapphire added. "Me too." said Ian "Although the best part was when we saw Moondancer all red." said Sapphire as she and Ian laughed. "Stop it you two." said Moondancer in an annoyed tone. Later the trio were almost there to their destination. “According to the map we should be right about here at the temple of the,” Moondancer said. “Magicus Healus flower.” Ian and Sapphire said knowing what their friend would say next. Then the three friends saw a pathway that led to the temple. “The temple of the Magicus Healus flower. We made it.” said Ian. “Well let’s go in and find the flower.” said Moondancer. “But we also need to beware of the ghost too.” said Sapphire. Then the three friends made it into the temple. There was different sections of the temple that one had the flower in one of them. "Now which room has the flower that we need to cure our friends from the Pony Purple Pox Sickness?" Moondancer wondered. “Well the best way to find the flower is if we split up.” Ian instructed. “The three of us will have to look in each room.” Then the trio split up to go look for which room had the flower.
Chapter 1 Our Story BeginsThis is the tale of an earth pony named Ian and a unicorn named Moondancer. On one day, an unusual day almost everyday in Equestria, these two lovebirds went on an adventure to heal Twilight and her friends from a very severe sickness. But before this happened, Both the unicorn and earth pony became coltfriend and marefriend. It has been a long time of parting ways, and Ian had been meaning to see Moondancer again. Our story begins with Ian who's busy on a walk. "Sure is a nice day today." Ian thought. "Maybe I should see Twilight and my friends." And that's exactly what he did. Later at Twilight's castle, Ian knocked on the front door and Twilight answered it. "Hello Ian." said Twilight. "How are you today?" "I'm fine." Ian answered. "How about you?" "I'm fine." "Anything new?" Ian asked. "Nothing much has happened." "Oh ok." "Would you like to come in?" Twilight asked. "Sure." replied Ian as he walked inside. Ian was amazed by the way the inside of the castle had looked. "It sure is beautiful." "Why thank you." replied Twilight. As they got closer to the throne room, Ian saw his friends Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Spike. "Hi guys." said Ian. "Hello Ian." Fluttershy said. "Sup?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Well I do remember a few months ago I went on a vacation to Canterlot and met a familiar face." Ian answered. "Who was it?" asked Twilight. "The familiar face I met on my vacation was a pony named Moondancer." "You met Moondancer?!" Twilight asked surprised. "That's right." "When did you first meet my friend?" "It started when I was busy eating at a Canterlot restaurant until I saw Moondancer. She looked sad, so I went up to her and asked what was wrong. She said that she didn't have a special somepony for Hearts and Hooves day. So I decided to take matters into my own hooves and be Moondancer's coltfriend for the day." Ian explained. "Wow!" exclaimed Twilight. "What happened next?" Pinkie Pie asked. "We spent the rest of the day talking. I was expecting this to be a minor thing before I would leave in a few days. But it grew into something neither of us expected. We became coltfriend and marefriend! We later had a very special date during my vacation. A few days later it was time for me to leave, so I arrived back in Ponyville and here I am now." Ian said. "What a good story." said Rarity. "And she even gave me this." said Ian as he pulled out the sweater that he was given by Moondancer. "That's a nice sweater." said Rarity. "Does it fit?" she asked. "Yep. How do I look?" Ian asked. "You look very nice darling." "Thanks." Much later, Ian went home to get some rest. "Man what a day it's been." Ian said to himself. He fell asleep for the night. Ian dreamed that one day he would see Moondancer again because of how much he missed her. The next day, Ian woke up and went to go see his friends before leaving for Canterlot again so they could have a fun time together. "I wonder if my friends are free to hangout?" Ian wondered. But before Ian could think of anything else, Ian heard a vomit sound. His sensitive ears and strange sense of hearing could pick it up. "Where's that sound coming from?" Ian thought. Ian looked all over Ponyville but Ian couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from. "I've looked all over Ponyville and I don't know who's throwing up." Ian said softly to himself. When Ian arrived at Twilight's castle, he heard the sound again. Ian knocked on the door and Twilight answered it. "Hello Ian." said Twilight who had an ill looking face. "Good gravy Twilight!" said Ian in surprise. "You look awful." "I'm not the only one sick." Twilight said as Spike walked up to Ian. "Hey Ian." Spike said as he coughed. "Spike, you too?" Ian asked "I'm afraid so." Later Ian arrived at Sweet Apple Acres to find a sick looking Applejack. "Oh my Celestia!" Ian exclaimed. "Applejack you're sick too?” "Uh huh." Applejack answered as her stomach growled terribly. "Maybe Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and the others are feeling fine." Ian thought. Later, Ian arrived at Rarity's Carousel Boutique. Ian knocked on the door to see if Rarity was home. She answered. "Oh, hello Ian." said Rarity in a sick looking tone. "First Twilight, then Spike, then Applejack, and now you Rarity." "We caught this sickness last night." said Rarity. "Maybe the rest are still fit and well?" Ian thought. Later Ian was walking he saw vomit fall right in front of him. "That was close." Ian said. "Otherwise I would've gotten sick too or just plain gross." Ian looked to see where the vomit came from and turns out the vomit came from Rainbow Dash. "Oh, hey Ian." said Rainbow Dash. "Let me guess you're sick too." said Ian with an annoyed look on his face. "Yep." "Well I'll see you later until you get better." said Ian as he walked off to go see if Pinkie Pie or Fluttershy were ok. Later, as Ian arrived at Sugar Cube Corner, Ian walked in to see Mrs. Cake greet him. “Good day, Ian.” she said. “Hi Mrs. Cake. Is Pinkie here?” “She’s in her room. Apparently there’s this sickness she’s got and probably the rest of them have it too.” “I noticed.” “Well, she’s upstairs if you want to talk to her.” Ian walked up to Pinkie’s room and knocked. “Come in!” Pinkie tried to call but was raspy due to her sore throat. "Hello Ian." said Pinkie Pie in a sick tone. "Looks like you're sick too." Ian guessed. "I am." “I don’t get it. Why is this happening?” Ian asked. “Maybe you should check on Fluttershy. She probably didn’t get it for being so far from Ponyville.” "Ok. Well I guess I'll see you later then." Ian said as he walked off. "Only one friend left." Ian said to himself. Ian later arrived at Fluttershy's cottage and knocked on the door to see if she was there. With luck, she wasn’t sick like Pinkie thought. Fluttershy answered and was the worse looking pony of all. Fluttershy's face was all green and she had purple spots all over her. "Ai ei ei. Fluttershy you look very terrible. What happened?" Ian asked in shock. "Me and my friends caught a very severe case of pony purple pox." Fluttershy said. "Oh my. It does look severe." said Ian. Ian had to find a way to cure his friends from the sickness. "He went back to Twilight's to get some info on how to cure her and her friends. "Oh, Ian it's you." said Twilight. "Yeah, I was wondering if there is a way to cure you and your friends." Ian said. "Well there is one way." "There is?" Ian asked. "The only way to cure me and my friends is a rare magic flower called Magicus Healus. It's located outside of Canterlot in a very ancient temple that was ruled years ago but some say that the ghost of the ruler may come back to haunt." Twilight explained. Ian knew what he had to do. "I'll get that flower and cure you and your friends!" said Ian with a determined look on his face. "Good luck." said Twilight. Ian headed home, grabbed his money to stock up on food on his adventure, and started his adventure. "I think first things first, I'd better pay Moondancer a visit." Ian thought. Ian boarded the Ponyville Express to take him to Canterlot. The train pulled out and headed out for Canterlot where Ian would meet Moondancer.
Chapter 2 The Adventure BeginsAs the train was heading to Canterlot, Ian was busy planning his adventure during the train ride. “Now if I were to find the temple I would need a map.” Ian thought. As the hours went by, the more Ian planned his adventure. Much later when the Ponyville Express arrived in Canterlot, Ian was ready, but first he had to tell Moondancer what was going on. Ian headed off to see Moondancer. He then saw her walking along the path. “Moondancer!” Ian called out. “Ian!” said Moondancer. “Longtime no see.” they hugged each other. “Moondancer there’s something I need to tell you.” Ian said. “What is it?” Moondancer asked. “Twilight and her friends caught this sickness called Pony Purple Pox.” Ian said “What’s Pony Purple Pox? Moondancer asked “Pony Purple Pox is this sickness that makes you have green skin and purple spots all over your body.” Ian explained “Oh my! That’s terrible. Is there a cure?” Moondancer said “The only way to cure Twilight and her friends is to find this rare flower called Magicus Healus.” Ian told Moondancer “But how are we going to find it?” Moondancer asked. “Twilight did say that it was located at a very ancient temple that was ruled long ago but now a ghost lives there.” Ian explained “Oh wow. But how are we gonna get there?” Moondancer asked “We’ll need a map that will guide us to the ancient temple of Magicus Healus. We’d better look for a book that has the map.” Ian said “And I think I know just the place to look.” said Moondancer Ian and Moondancer searched high and low and every cranny and nook for a book that had the map to the Magicus Healus temple. “Now which book would have the map?” Ian thought. Every book they found on adventure maps, Ian and Moondancer couldn’t find any of the books that had the map that led to the Magicus Healus temple. “So far we haven’t found anything.” Just then they saw a book inside a trashcan. It was old, worn, a few pages either fading or missing. It was the exact definition of worse for wear. “I wonder what’s in this book?” Ian thought. Ian opened the book and a folded up piece of paper fell out. “What’s this?” Ian wondered as he saw the paper on the ground. Ian picked up the paper and unfolded it to reveal a map. “I think I’ve found the map to where we’re going.” he said to himself Ian then caught up with Moondancer to tell her. “I found it in a really old and worn out book in the trash. I think this might lead us to the Magicus Healus temple.” “Perfect. I should probably go lock the door to my house first before we head out.” “Great idea.” And that’s exactly what she did. Then the unicorn and earth pony headed out to start their adventure. “Now we should follow the map. And we’ll find the temple but we need to beware of the ghost that haunts the temple.” The two ponies headed down the path that was stated on the map. “This adventure might give us an estimate of a few days.” Ian said. “Or who knows how long it might take.” Moondancer stated. “But what really matters right now is that Twilight and her friends are counting on us.” Ian and Moondancer followed every direction on the map to find the temple that kept the Magicus Healus flower. Three days later, their food supplies had run out and the two were starving. “We’re gonna die if we don’t find at least something to eat. It’s been at least three days since we haven’t had any real food.” said Ian. “But where in the name of Equestria are we gonna find some food here in this forest?” said Moondancer Ian and Moondancer looked all over the forest for some food. “Have you found anything?” Ian asked. “I found nothing. How about you?” “I found nothing. Zilch! Nada! Let’s face it. We’ll never find anything to eat.” But Ian spoke too soon because a bunch of bananas fell on Ian’s head from a tree. “I guess these bananas will suffice.” said Ian The two ponies ate as they walked. “Good thing we found some bananas to help us keep our energy up.” Moondancer said. “I wonder what we’ll find to drink?” said Ian. Ian then saw a freshwater spring up ahead. “I think we found some fresh water. That might help.” said Moondancer They then drank some water to keep their energy. “Much better.” said Ian “At least now we found some bananas and some water.” said Moondancer. The two ponies continued until sunset. Ian saw a cave up ahead. “We can stop here for the night.” he said. Both of them set up a fire, and with a few mishaps of losing the fire, they finally had one warm enough to keep them warm from the cold cave. “This should keep us warm.” Moondancer said. Later that night, Ian and Moondancer were both fast asleep until they heard a sound. “What was that?” Ian asked. “I don’t know. We should go investigate what it was.” Then the two ponies went deeper into the cave to investigate the sound. As they went deeper into the cave, it got darker and darker and the noise got louder and louder. “I can’t see a thing in here.” said Ian Moondancer then used her horn and she and Ian were face to face with a big red dragon. The dragon roared. Ian and Moondancer screamed and made a run for it. “You should’ve told me this was a dragon’s cave before we bunked here.” Moondancer called as she and Ian ran. “I know I should’ve and I’m sorry I didn’t.” Ian called back. Then the two made a narrow escape out of the cave as the red dragon blew fire at them. “Yeow my biscuits are burning!” exclaimed Ian. Luckily there was a pond up ahead and Ian cooled off his flank there. “Are you ok Ian?” Moondancer asked “Man that smarts. Not to mention some of my tail burned off” said Ian who sat in the pond. “Luckily we made a narrow escape.” Moondancer replied. “We sure did. But where are we gonna sleep?” Ian wondered. Ian then saw a cavern behind a waterfall. “Maybe in there?” he said pointing to the cavern. Ian then remembered to check to see if anybody was in this cavern. When Ian and Moondancer looked around, the cavern looked deserted. “It’s empty in here so we should sleep here for the night.” said Ian “First we should check to see if there are any dragons in here.” suggested Moondancer Ian and Moondancer looked around for any sign of dragons but there was no dragon to be seen.” “Good. All is well.” Ian declared. But Ian spoke too soon once again because inside the cavern was a very light blue baby dragon that was cold and lonely. “I think we’re not alone.” said Ian. Ian walked up to the baby dragon. “Hello. I’m Ian and this is Moondancer.” he introduced “What’s your name?” Moondancer asked. “My name is Sapphire and I’m an orphaned baby dragon.” “Pleased to meet you.” said Ian. “So what are you doing here in this cavern?” Sapphire asked. “We needed a place to sleep for the night. You see we’re on an adventure to find the Magicus Healus flower that is kept in the Magicus Healus temple. The reason why is that some of our friends are sick with a case of Pony Purple Pox.” “Oh my.” “Sounds terrible.” “It does.” “I would be able to accompany you but I’m too scared.” “Don’t worry. Me and Moondancer will be right here to accompany every step of the way.” Then Sapphire felt much better. “Thanks. I’m starting to feel much better that now I know you two are gonna help me out.” “Besides Twilight and her friends are counting on us.” “Twilight as in Twilight Sparkle?” Sapphire asked. “Yep.” answered Ian. “Oh I’ve heard of her. She’s a good hero for Equestria.” “And she’s also a longtime friend of mine.” Moondancer added. “We could tell you more but we need to get some rest.” “Oh ok.” And later Ian,Moondancer,and Sapphire fell fast asleep. The next day Ian,Moondancer,and Sapphire woke up to find some breakfast. The three friends looked all over until Ian saw two eggs. “Poached eggs anyone?” Ian asked. Ian cooked the eggs while Sapphire used her fire breath to keep the poached eggs nice and hot. Then Ian felt something inside his sweater. He pulled out three slices of bread. “Looks like we’ll have some toast too.” After breakfast, the three friends headed out to continue their adventure to find the Magicus Healus flower that rests in the Magicus Healus temple.
Chapter 4 Ghost chase and the feastIan looked in one room of the temple. While he looked he saw an inscription written on the wall. “This temple used to belong to the ruler of the temple of the Magicus Healus flower and was a greedy ruler who only kept the flower for himself. Many brave explorers tried to arrest this greedy king for his actions but none prevailed. Until one day a bolt of lightning struck and the king was turned to ashes. Now only his ghost haunts this very temple for anyone who tries to grab the flower where it is kept. So watch out for the ghost that might come back to haunt you or you might end up like him.” “I’d better be careful” Ian thought as he continued his search. Meanwhile Moondancer and Sapphire were looking for the room which had the flower kept in. “The flower should be in this temple somewhere.” said Sapphire. “I’ve been trying to find the room and so far it resulted in my glasses being covered in cobwebs.” said Moondancer. “We should watch out for the ghost.” said Sapphire. Later the three friends met back with each other. “So far I found an inscription.” said Ian. “And we got covered in cobwebs.” “I guess that long hallway over there might be our only solution.” said Moondancer. They walked the long hallway until they saw a door at the end and opened it. And much to their surprise the flower was sitting in there. “There it is.” said Ian. “I guess there’s no ghost here.” said Sapphire but she was wrong. There were ghostly sounds coming from the temple and the door to the long hallway closed by itself. This made Ian and his friends jump. “What was that?” Ian asked who was shaking Then a ghostly figure spawned right in front of them. “GHOST!” The three friends shouted. Then the ghost chased after the trio. The three friends were almost free but Ian accidentally triggered a trap with captured Ian and Moondancer in a cage. “Oh no!” Sapphire exclaimed. “What am I gonna do! I gotta get them outta there!” The ghost laughed wildly. “Now you three are gonna pay.” the ghost snarled. “No!” whimpered Sapphire. “Pay!” the ghost snarled again. Sapphire shook in fear. Then she remembered to be brave. “I will not pay! You are a big greedy, meany, ghost!” Ian and Moondancer watched in amazement as they saw Sapphire start to take down the ghostly king. “Go Sapphire!” exclaimed Ian. After Sapphire finished him up, the king ghost wasn’t finished yet. “Minions! Attack!” the ghost commanded. Then some skeletons charged to attack. One skeleton hit Sapphire in the stomach. Sapphire growled and attacked everyone of the skeletons. Sapphire then let out a gust of flames which burned the rope that was holding the cage and it broke setting Ian and Moondancer free. “We’re free.” said Ian and Moondancer. Ian and Moondancer ran up to Sapphire and hugged her for her bravery. “Sapphire that was awesome.” said Moondancer. “You were really brave back there.” said Ian. “Now let’s get rid of this ghost.” said Sapphire. Then Ian pulled out a portable vacuum and sucked up the ghost. “Let’s see them show that in Luigi’s Mansion.” said Ian with a brave expression on his face. Later the three friends made it back to the room where the flower was kept,grabbed it, and then the temple started to collapse. “Oh no! The whole place is falling down.” said Moondancer. “Let’s get out of here.” said Ian. The trio made it out of the temple safe and sound. “We made it.” said Sapphire who jumped up and down with joy. Suddenly there was an arousing sound of applause. It was the villagers from Mangopony. “What a stunning performance.” said the village leader. “You three managed to defeat the spirit.” the salespony said. “So in honor of you three saving the day, You three shall be honored with a feast.” said the village leader Later that night back at the Mangopony village, the feast was in full swing for the little circle of pony and dragon friends. “Fellow villagers, we are gathered here tonight in honor of our three heroes who vanquished the ghost and found the flower to give thanks for all their bravery.” the village leader said. Applause echoed in the village. The feast happened as Ian, Moondancer, and Sapphire were busy having a good time. “First we were normal now we’re treated as Gods.” said Moondancer who was drinking some mango juice. “I know.” said Ian. “Anyways first thing tomorrow we head back to Ponyville to make the medicine to cure our friends from the Pony Purple Pox.” he explained. “What are your friends like?” Sapphire asked. “Well, once you meet them I’m sure you’ll understand.” Ian answered. Later after the feast was over Ian, Moondancer, and Sapphire settled down for the night in a hut to themselves. Moondancer was reading while Ian was tucking Sapphire in. “Good night Sapphire.” said Ian. Then he kissed her forehead. And Sapphire fell fast asleep. Then Ian got into bed and said something to Moondancer. “What a day it’s been.” he said with an exhausted expression on his face. “I know.” said Moondancer as she closed her book and yawned. Then Ian glanced at Sapphire and was worried for the poor baby dragon. "But poor Sapphire has nopony to take care of her." "I think you should take care of Sapphire since she rescued us and you were helping and encouraging her to be brave from the start of this adventure." Moondancer suggested. Ian thought about Moondancer's suggestion. "Maybe you're right." said Ian. "I'll tell Sapphire tomorrow that I've decided to take care of her but right now,I need to get some rest." Ian said. "I think we both do." said Moondancer as she and Ian giggled. "Good night." said Ian as he yawned. Then Ian and Moondancer fell asleep and dreamed about the trip home that would happen tomorrow.
Chapter 5 The MedicineThe next morning, Ian, Moondancer, and Sapphire headed back to Canterlot where Minuette, Lemon Hearts, and Twinkleshine were seeing what was going on. “Hey Moondancer.” said Minuette. “Where were you a few days ago?” Lemon Hearts asked. “And who are those two?” Twinkleshine asked. “This is my coltfriend Ian and my new friend Sapphire.” Moondancer walked up to Ian and Sapphire. “These are my friends Minuette, Lemon Hearts, and Twinkleshine.” “Pleased to meet you all.” said Sapphire. “Moondancer’s told us so much about you Ian.” said Lemon Hearts. “Yeah we were just on an adventure and we were about to head back to Ponyville.” Ian said. “Oh ok.” said Minuette. Much later, the two ponies and dragon took the Ponyville Express back to Ponyville. They arrived there a few hours later. “Here we are back in Ponyville.” said Ian. “Sure is nice here.” said Sapphire. “Now to head to my house to make the medicine.” Later at Ian’s house the three friends set to work. “We’ll need a bowl to mix.” said Ian. Sapphire brought the bowl over to Ian. Ian then pulled out the map and flipped it over and it had a recipe on the back of the map. “First it requires some Mango juice.” said Ian. “Next we need some kind of sweet spice to make it more tasty.” Ian, Moondancer, and Sapphire looked around in Ian’s kitchen for any spices that were sweet. Finally Ian found a sweet spice, which was rosemary, for the medicine. “Lastly we need the petals of the Magicus Healus flower.” said Sapphire. Sapphire then plucked the petals off the flower and put them in the medicine. “Now to mix it all together.” said Moondancer. “Perfect.” said Sapphire. “Let’s get the medicine to our friends.” said Ian. First the three friends stopped at Sugar Cube Corner. Mrs Cake saw them. “Hello Ian. Who are your friends?” Mrs. Cake asked. “This is my marefriend Moondancer and this is my new friend Sapphire.” “We’ve come to see a miss Pinkie Pie?” said Sapphire. “Pinkie Pie is upstairs sweetie.” said Mrs Cake. The three of them walked upstairs and knocked on the door. “Come in.” said Pinkie Pie still in a raspy voice. “We made you some medicine to cure you and your friends.” said Ian. Pinkie Pie saw Moondancer and Sapphire. “Who are those two?” Pinkie Pie asked. “I’m Moondancer and this is Sapphire.” Moondancer answered. Pinkie Pie took a sip, and after a few seconds, was feeling better. “Yay. I’m all better now.” said Pinkie Pie who jumped out of the bed. “One down, five to go.” said Sapphire. Later the three friends were at Sweet Apple Acres. Ian knocked on the door and Apple Bloom and Big Mac answered. “Howdy Ian.” said Apple Bloom. She then noticed Moondancer and Sapphire. “Who are your friends?” “This is Moondancer and Sapphire.” said Ian. “Howdy there. I’m Apple Bloom and I’m Applejack’s sister.” said Apple Bloom. “Pleased to meet you Apple Bloom.” said Sapphire. “Speaking of Applejack is she here?” Moondancer asked. “Eeyup.” Big Mac answered. “She’s upstairs.” said Apple Bloom. The trio walked upstairs. “Come in.” said Applejack in a raspy tone. “My friends made the medicine to cure you.” said Ian. Applejack felt the effects almost immediately. “Yee haw! That’s much better.” she said happily. “Let’s keep going.” Moondancer said. Then later at Rarity’s Carousel Boutique, they were greeted by Sweetie Belle. “Hi Ian!” she said. “Who are they?” “This is Moondancer, Twilight’s friend, and this is Sapphire.” “Are you here to see Rarity?” “We are. We have the medicine for her.” They went up to Rarity’s bedroom which also served as her workshop. “Hello darlings.” Rarity said. “Hey Rares. We got something for you.” The medicine was served and after Rarity sipped it up, she was feeling much better. “Thank you very much darlings.” said Rarity. “Anytime.” said Moondancer. Later, Ian and friends went to Cloudsdale to cure Rainbow Dash. "Rainbow Dash are you there?" Ian asked. Rainbow Dash looked out of her window "I'm right here." answered Rainbow Dash She then saw Moondancer and Sapphire with the medicine. "We made a medicine to cure you and your friends from your sickness." said Sapphire Rainbow Dash then drank the medicine and was feeling so much better. “Aww Yeah.I’m back to normal.Thanks for your help guys.” Rainbow Dash said with excitement. "Anytime Rainbow Dash." replied Ian. Then the trio headed all the way to Fluttershy’s cottage. “Hello Fluttershy.” said Ian. “Hi Ian.” said Fluttershy “We made a medicine to cure you.” said Sapphire. They then served the medicine to Fluttershy who couldn’t have felt the most well. “Yay. I’m feeling much better.” said Fluttershy happily. Then the trio headed to Twilight’s castle. Ian knocked on the door and Twilight answered it. “Ian you’re back from your adventure.” said Twilight. Then she noticed Moondancer. “And I see you brought Moondancer with you.” “I also brought a baby dragon named Sapphire.” Sapphire walked up to Twilight. “OMG!” I can’t believe I’m meeting the one and only Twilight Sparkle.” said Sapphire happily and let out a fangirl squee. “What’s going on?” Spike said. Then he saw Sapphire. “Well,well,well. Looks like Ian found a baby dragon like me.” he said with a smirk on his face. “Spike this is Sapphire.” said Ian. “Hi Spike.” said Sapphire. “We also have a medicine to cure you both.” said Moondancer. Ian then gave Twilight and Spike the medicine and they were cured. “We’re cured.” said Spike. “Thank you so much for helping us.” said Twilight. The next day in the throne room, Twilight had a little speech for the group of adventurers. “For retrieving the flower and saving us from our sickness, we present to you three with this.” Then Twilight showed a stained glass window with the trio on it. “Wow!” Sapphire exclaimed. “Thank you so much Twilight.” said Moondancer. Then there was a knock at the door. It was the rest of Twilight’s friends. “Welcome my friends.” said Twilight. “We also have surprises for our helpers.” said Pinkie Pie. First Applejack presented a bag of gems for Sapphire. Then Rarity put capes on our three heroes. Then Pinkie Pie gave some cupcakes to them. And finally the biggest surprise of all was back at Canterlot. Later at Princess Celestia’s castle, a ceremony was held for Ian, Moondancer, and Sapphire. “In honor of you three saving my faithful student from a very severe sickness, you three are granted with medals.” Princess Celestia said. “Thank you your highness.” said Ian. Later that night Ian and Moondancer said their goodbyes. “It was fun seeing you again.” said Ian. “It was fun seeing you again too.” said Moondancer. “Well I guess this is goodbye for now.” They all hugged each other goodbye. Then Ian got Sapphire into bed. “Good night Sapphire.” said Ian and he kissed her forehead and Sapphire fell asleep. Ian got into bed and dreamed of the adventure that he and his friends had and would never forget.
Chapter 3 Mangopony Village and The Temple EnteranceIan, Moondancer, and Sapphire later came across an old, wooden, rickety bridge. And at the bottom was a very deep gorge. “We’d better cross this bridge.” said Moondancer. “I’m not so sure.” said Sapphire who was shaking in fear. “We’ll be fine. Just don’t look down and you’ll be ok.” Ian assured. So the trio began to cross the bridge. They were halfway across until a plank of the bridge broke off causing Sapphire to look down. Sapphire screamed in fear and jumped on top of Ian. “You looked down didn’t you.” said Ian. “Yeah I did.” Sapphire admitted. “Ok hold on and don’t let go.” said Ian in an annoyed tone. After the three friends made it across the bridge they saw another obstacle to cross. A big river. “We should find a bridge to cross the river.” said Moondancer. The three friends looked for a bridge but there was no bridge to be seen. "There has to be a bridge somewhere to cross." said Sapphire who looked around. Finally, Ian saw one up ahead. “There’s one.” said Ian pointing to the bridge. They crossed the bridge. One across, the three friends came across a village. “Wow. What a nice place.” said Moondancer. “Welcome travelers to the village of Mangopony.” said the village leader walking up to them. "We here have our own shops and vacant rooms for you three weary travelers to stay at anytime." the village leader said. Ian's stomach growled. "I could go for some food right now." said Ian as he looked for something to eat. Ian then saw a coconut tree and climbed it. He tried to pull the coconut off but it didn’t come off until Ian fell with a thud and the coconut fell off the tree and hit him on the head. “Ow!” exclaimed Ian. “Are you ok Ian?” Moondancer asked as she and Sapphire ran up to him. “I think so.” replied Ian “But at least you can make coconut milk with this coconut.” Sapphire replied. Later Ian saw a sale at a hut and went up to it. “Welcome sir. We’re selling some bottles of tasty mango soda and they only cost one bit each.” said a seller. Ian pulled out his piggy bank. “I’ll take it all. I hope this is enough.” he said in frantic excitement. “Ian don’t waste all your cash in your piggy bank on bottles and bottles of soda.” said Moondancer. “Yeah do you honestly think buying all that is gonna make you happy?” Sapphire added. Ian thought about what the results were if he bought every last one of the mango soda bottles. “I guess not.” Ian answered. Maybe I should save some cash for other important things.” Ian decided to only buy one bottle so he payed one bit for the soda. “We also need to get going on our quest to cure our friends.” said Moondancer. “Yes we should.After all our friends are counting on us and if we don't cure them they'll die of sickness.” said Ian. He turned to the village leader. “Do you know anything about the Magicus Healus temple?” he asked “Oh! You wouldn’t want to go there! The spirit will haunt you for sure!” the village leader warned. “We know. We aren’t afraid. We just need the flower inside.” explained Moondancer “If that is what you wish, may the Gods protect you three.” the village leader said. “Thank you.” Moondancer said. Later the three friends said goodbye as they left the village to continue their adventure to find the flower that rested in the Magicus Healus temple. “Those native ponies sure are friendly.” said Sapphire. “Yeah I know.” said Ian. “And they sure are productive a lot too.” said Moondancer. Later the three friends found a waterfall up ahead. “Wow. What a breathtaking sight.” said Sapphire. “Wanna go for a swim guys?” Ian asked. “No thanks.” said Moondancer. “Sure.” said Sapphire. Ian took off his sweater. Then he and Sapphire went for a swim in the lake while Moondancer relaxed in the sun. Ian and Sapphire played in the water for three hours straight. "It reminds me of that one time I went swimming in my pool back in Ponyville." Ian said. He could remember the time when he was a little colt swimming in a kiddie pool. "Ah. Those were the days. The fun days but still they were the days." After swimming Ian and Sapphire dried off and Ian put his sweater back on. When they caught up to Moondancer, she looked a bit red. "Wow Moondancer you look like you got cooked." said Ian as he laughed. "Oh be quiet." said Moondancer. Much later, the three friends continued their journey. “Mane, what a swim that was.” said Ian. “I sure had fun.” Sapphire added. "Me too." said Ian "Although the best part was when we saw Moondancer all red." said Sapphire as she and Ian laughed. "Stop it you two." said Moondancer in an annoyed tone. Later the trio were almost there to their destination. “According to the map we should be right about here at the temple of the,” Moondancer said. “Magicus Healus flower.” Ian and Sapphire said knowing what their friend would say next. Then the three friends saw a pathway that led to the temple. “The temple of the Magicus Healus flower. We made it.” said Ian. “Well let’s go in and find the flower.” said Moondancer. “But we also need to beware of the ghost too.” said Sapphire. Then the three friends made it into the temple. There was different sections of the temple that one had the flower in one of them. "Now which room has the flower that we need to cure our friends from the Pony Purple Pox Sickness?" Moondancer wondered. “Well the best way to find the flower is if we split up.” Ian instructed. “The three of us will have to look in each room.” Then the trio split up to go look for which room had the flower.
