Year 7 of the Lunar Reign.
Rainbow Dash's House,12:34 am
It's been a normal day in a Ponyvile. Specifically, today was the day when Rainbow Dash and the girls would go to the Whitetail Woods for camping. There they will stay for about a night, tell each other another round of campfire scary stories.
"It's going to be so much fun!"Scootaloo squealed excitedly. "Aren't you excited Rainbow Dash?" Scootaloo was literally jumping everywhere, up and down, up and down.
"Yeah, kiddo it will." Rainbow Dash replied.
"Can big sister Lightning Dust join us for today?" asked Scootaloo.
"I am sorry, but she can't." Rainbow Dash replied.
"Ow, that stinks!" said Scootaloo, "I'll go and see what other girls are up too then, see ya."
"Yeah, . . . " Rainbow said absently, Scootaloo didn't notice it, she just dashed away. "Stay safe!" She said to the already empty room.
Carousel Boutique 1:17 pm.
"Well I am here," said Rainbow Dash, she has just arrived at Carousel Boutique. "You know it's been quite awhile and all of us still need to carry a bunch of supplies. Anyway, the point I am trying to make is you actually getting better at Rarity."
"Why, thank you, Rainbow, although Ill had to admit it Ill still making Sweetie Belle do all the work."
"Huh, is that so! Well as long as she doesn't mind."
"Yes, well shall we go?"
"Yep, let's go visit Applejack."
Whitetail Woods, 4;56 pm
Rainbow Rarity and Applejack went into the forest. After awhile they just picked the place that looked good and placed the camp. They are about to get ready to tell the stories, but they got interrupted by an invasion of bugs, most commonly known as flyders.
"Run!" Rainbow hurried everypony for cover into the cave."I'll be right back!"Rainbow then quickly dashed outside and into her tent. At that time it felt like an overkill but Rainbow made sure to pack the best bug repellent she could a hoof mounted flamethrower
"Canister fully loaded, the lighter is lighted. It's time to take out the adorable trash." She pressed the trigger setting the flame thrower at full throttle, and let the bugs burn."
5. . . 4. . .3. . .2. . . 1 She started to count seconds. Oh oh, it looks like I am out, now quick reload, and. . . No, stay away, stay away. Ow!
Bitten, exhausted and quickly defeated Rainbow Dash threw useless flame thrower to the ground, she then retreats it back to the cave.
"Here!" she said while tossing burning log to the ground.
"Is that?" Sweetie Belle started saying.
"Yep, completely ordinary wooden log that I managed to save from the bugs!" Rainbow Dash quickly reassured everypony.
Sweetie Belle sighed hoof mounted flamethrowers weren't cheaply made, and schematics for it are corrupted by a freak error of a memory core of an Crusader class destroyer starship.

"Wouldn't flyders try and attack us here?" Scootaloo asked.
"It's fine, don't worry about it kid." Rainbow quickly dismissed. "Now who wants to start to tell stories."
"Well, I guess I should go first," Applejack said, and she started and then finished her story.
"So that how it went huh, don't get me wrong I am all for heroism and heroic sacrifice. But tell me Applejack, why would nopony helped him dig the tunnel? Surely it would have been faster if they helped? Also, why nopony ever thought of it? Also, I am pretty sure lava doesn't work that way, it went downhill way too slow. Also if those ponies knew they were living under a volcano then why they refused to leave? What are they doing, a mass grave suicide?"
"I don't really know myself but as you are aware that story had been told from person to person."
"Okay, I get it, broken telephone."
"Well, I guess it's my turn next." Rarity said happily. After awhile she finished the story as well. "Do you have anything you want to add Rainbow Dash?"
"Oh look at me I am the next King Sombra, I turned evil because I do look like old and wrinkly. Fear my wrath, you dirty peasants."
"I am sure she isn't like that dear."
"Yeah, I know, I am just messing with you."
"Oh okay, that good I guess."
"Where is your confidence? Smile for me Rarity, with pride."
"Yes, you are quite a right dear. Anyway, I believe it's your turn."
Rainbow Dash went and finished her story.
"That nice, I think although, it's a bit weird that dragons would back out after the shock of lightning, even if they are fire resistant to lava. Is that Ember's father, I didn't realize that he was that old," said Rarity.
"Yeah, I completely made it up. Nopony actually remembers who they were. Anyway, we should be thankful that dragons have such a weakness."
Everypony nodded in agreement, then one of the flyders attacked. Rainbow Dash panicked and with a single strike took down the cave supports for the entrance.
"I guess that could have been avoided?" asked Applejack.
"I panicked okay, it's not like you could have done it any better. Let's just sleep for a bit, I think we are safe for now."
"Why are we afraid of them anyway?" Apple Bloom asked.
"Besides being extremely aggressive towards ponies, and been extremely territorial in general!"
"Good point."
So they went to sleep, hours later three little fillies were laying on the ground and talking with each other.
"You know that Empress looked awfully like you Scootaloo, minus being a unicorn. She wouldn't happen to be your distant relative?" asked Apple Bloom.
"I don't really know, Rainbow Dash just found me all In the forest, and I just don't remember my family."
"Oh, sorry for asking."
"No, that's fine, I am pretty sure Rarity just made it up, I mean that other unicorns have waving hair like Princess Celestia does."
"Still it's a great story." Sweetie Belle defended her sister.
"I am not saying it isn't, anyway let's sleep, tomorrow we would still need to escape from the cave."
So with that, they went to sleep, outside the buzzing of the flyders could have been heard.
Author's Note
You know, if I just started the story with "Rainbow Dash bravely dashed into danger from the cave, and then she saw it swarms of bees, I mean flyders. So then she dashed to her tent and took the incinerator..." I don't know I think at best that would have been 200 words, This is why introduction is kind of necessary evil. Also, I just don't want to just rehash the episode, the content had to be a bit different.
I am not promoting forest fires, nor violence against spiders and bees just thought that something that Rainbow Dash would do in those 2 seconds.

“So why exactly Princess Celestia wants to come to Ponyvile”, asked Pinkie Pie.
“Oh she just wants to visit her favorite student,” said Twilight. “Feel free to make this visit public, in fact, I encourage you to make the best welcome party you can.”
“Thanks for an idea Twilight, I’ll make sure she would like it. "
Meanwhile Twilight went to Fluttershy, just to see how she was doing.
“Hi, Twilight how was your day today?”
“It’s been fine Fluttershy, just wanted to see how you were doing today.”
“Oh, I was doing fine today, but today I found a very cute creature today,” she pointed towards a small winged creature that was in her mane. “Would you like to have one, I have a few of them.”
“Are you sure? Well as long as they aren't dangerous.” Twilight Sparkle said.
“I am sure it’s fine Twilight, although I don’t know anything about them.”
“You probably right, this will be a good opportunity for me to study them. Although right now it’s not a good idea.”
“Is something wrong?”
“It’s kind of nothing but it’s Princess Celestia visit, and I just don’t want to screw it up,” said Twilight.
“Oh, okay! Well, good luck. I almost forgot if you see others, maybe you could offer it to them.”
“I suppose!”
Next stop was Rarity, Twilight went to her.
“Hello darling, how can I help you today! Oh hello Twilight, Is there anything you want?”
“Oh it’s nothing, I just wanted to chat I guess, feel free to continue to do your work.”
“You want to chat? This is so much not you, now what is it about?”
“Oh fine, be like that,” Twilight give up. “I am just here because Fluttershy thought it was cute to give you this creature, and I just wanted to do a scientific experiment.”
“Uh, that explains it, are you sure I won’t regret it.”
Twilight looked at her curiously “Let’s call this a favor. In exchange for this creature, I’ll do you a favor, name it and it yours.”
“That’s what I like to hear,” Rarity smiled at her “Just remember the deal.”
Twilight nodded, she exited Boutique, next stop Rainbow Dash. She was hoping to find her in the city but went to the cloud house instead. Somewhere on the random cloud
“What’s up!” Twilight heard somepony called her. She looked up, there she was Rainbow Dash was looking at her from the cloud.
“Hi Rainbow, you are napping I am assuming.”
“What can I say those clouds are so soft and comfy.”
“Uh huh,” Twilight said
“Anyway, what do you want?”
“Oh I, Fluttershy just wanted to give you this,” Twilight pointed out towards the creature.
“Oh this, are you sure? Very well I’ll take it.”
“You know what they are?” Twilight asked.
“Sure I do. Just ask Pinkie Pie about them.”
“Okay, well that was easy,” Twilight bite it her lips.
“Yeah, don’t sweat it, I can handle it. Its technology is not my first time.”

“Not the first?” Twilight looked at her curiously.
“I’ll tell you what, you have my scroll number, and well if you visit me at midnight, I might tell you stories.”
“Okay, I will.”
Next stop was Applejack, Twilight went to See Apple Acres.
“Oh hello Pinkie,” Pinkie Pie was about to leave the orchard. “How were you been doing?”
“Well, I just used up all of the emergency Princess Celestia visits to the town party.”
“Okay, do you have emergency supplies to deal with this.” Twilight showed the creature to Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie’s eyes widened. “Of course I do silly.”
“Twilight Sparkle sighed, “Well why don’t you get them ready, just for today would you let me do this scientific research.”
“Eh, I guess, " Pinkie Pie shrugged. “But you do realize that I can tell you everything about them, and save you a lot of trouble while doing so.”
“I do, I just need some various data.”
Twilight wished Pinkie farewell and making sure to take a Pinkie Promise from her. I Pinkie Promise that I wouldn’t start the parasprite extermination party until at least tomorrow. Twilight went to the barn.
“Hi, sugar-cube is there something you want.”
“Well, I went to Fluttershy today and well, she just wanted to give you this,” Twilight pointed at the creature. “Um, just so you know I promise to compensate any damage that they might cause.”
“Well okay then, as long as you are offering.”
“Yeah well, I kind of feel that it’s my responsibility to do this. And it would be unfair to you if I cheated you on this one.”
Twilight said goodbye to AppleJack and she went on her business.
Twilight was sleeping in the library, the clock show 11:50 pm. Twilight woke up, maybe she should just as well visit Rainbow. She took the scroll and scratched on it with the pen I want to come to you if your offer still stands.. Twenty seconds later scroll vibrated back. The Sure thing, come on in, I’ve been waiting.
Nine minutes later Twilight was in front of Rainbow Dash house. She pushed the button on the door. “The door is opened, just come in!” Twilight heard Rainbow voice from inside, Twilight then opened the door and trotted inside into the living room.
“Surprised?”
“Yeah, a bit, I didn't expect you to live on the ground.”
“I suppose it had to happen at some point, ever since I took Scootaloo in. She can’t exactly fly, plus I can afford it.”
“So, where is parasprite then?” Twilight asked.
“Uh, so you met Pinkie Pie then?” Rainbow Dash asked Twilight nodded. “To answer your question I put it in the freezer.”
Twilight just looked at her mouth agape, “You put it in the freezer!?
“Yeppers, right now our new neighbor is in the stasis, therefore harmless.”
“But. . .”
“Twilight, I am not stupid, parasprites were designed as the biological weapon. Considering where I used to work, activated parasprite can be equivalent to disaster.
“You said they are the biological weapon, are they used by EUP?” Twilight asked
“Not exactly, the modern military have no idea that they exist. Parasprites are equivalent to myth and legends.”
“So they were used by your department?”
“You could say that it’s kind of a lot of fun to watch,” Rainbow said with the glee. “Well not so much fun for the victims, they weren't enjoying it.”
“But why?”
“To starve, to create chaos, to destroy the enemy with extreme efficiency. Sometimes, we even deployed carnivorous version, the result was quite unexpected and gruesome.”
Twilight eyes widened.
“Oh don’t be such a chicken. This type of parasprite designed to starve. And, you wanted to play scientist, so enjoy the show.”
This was a bit too much. Twilight was hoping she didn't make a mistake.
“Why me, and why didn't you stop me?” She asked Rainbow.
“Because it’s fun to watch? Now then, just relax and enjoy the night.”

Pinkie Pie's notes: Rated Dark for Dashie is acting like a complete psychopath in chapter 2.
Normal author's notes because the story is being published August 27th I had about 3 days to think what to do with crossover tag, technically because the story has an advanced starship AI, it means that it shares the same concepts as Halo, Andromeda Ascendant, 2001 Space Odyssey, Arpeggio of The Blue Steel. But the story is not Sci Fi enough to promote the sci fi tag
The story is AU because the main concept is too far behind removed from the canon universe.
I am planning to create a story which is going to show the life of Rainbow Dash and Sweetie Belle when the Star fleet had been operational about 1500 years ago
