Ember opened the door to his home, carrying his new wife in his arms. She had fallen asleep during the ride back from the venue, only now coming to. Rubbing her eyes, she took a second to blink a few times before realizing where she was. Her gaze shifted to her husband when he sat down on a nearby couch, taking her down with him. Her shoulders lowered as she sighed. “So this is it, huh? We are officially together now.”
Ember smiled as he took a hold of her small, delicate hand, looking at the ring on her finger. “Yep. You’re stuck with me for a long time.”
She laughed at that. “As if four years wasn't long enough.”
The stallion could only stare at her fondly, taking in the sight of her. Her makeup had mostly faded, but she still had a trace of blush on her cheeks, giving her face a warm tone. Her lower lip darted behind her teeth as she bit it nervously, dark sapphire eyes darting around with uncertainty. He cut her a glance before placing his hands on her shoulders, causing her to look up at him. “I think I know what you want… just know I would never rush you into it.” She nodded, feeling a bit more at ease now. She suddenly gasped as he pulled her in closer. “Besides,” he purred into her ear, “We have all night, there’s no need to rush.”
She blushed brightly before resting her head against his. “Is that so? In that case, let’s take things as slow as possible.”
Ember bit back a grunt, and he smiled at his wife yet again. “Alright, love. If that's what you want.” She beamed, her eyes closing as she peppered little kisses on his nose, hearing him chuckle. His arms wrapped around her waist, and his own eyes closed as he sighed. “You’d think your parents would a bit less supportive of this. I mean, a scientist with a construction worker. If that isn't an odd combo, I don't know what is.”
Speckle frowned slightly. “And who said I wanted to be with you because of your job title? That doesn't matter. What does matter is that we love each other. Nothing else to say about it.”
Ember shook his head, smirking. “I love it when you get defensive. The way your nose crinkles up is adorable.”
The mare paused, slightly taken aback by this. She stared at him blankly for a few seconds, then looked away as she blushed. Her body stiffened like a board as she felt a hand start to unzip her dress, giving the stallion a look. “Can we at least get to the bedroom before we start this?” He gave a short nod, ignoring her cry of surprise as he abruptly stood up, bringing her to said room, closing the door behind him. Letting her down, he gestured to the nearby bathroom.
“Go on. I’ll be getting things ready here.”
She did so, slipping off her long, bulky dress once inside. She then pulled out the pins that was holding her hair up, shaking her head as the dark blue and white locks cascaded down her back. After quickly washing her face, she stared at her reflection. All she had on now was a lacy pink bra and matching underwear. She couldn't be more nervous if she tried. Even having a meeting with the top scientists in the country would be less nerve wracking than this. What was it that was making her feel so uneasy? “Take your time, love. No need to hurry.” Closing her eyes briefly, she rubbed at her temples, trying to clear her head. When they reopened, she shot a glance to the doorknob. The only way she would get answers is if she opened the door. It was now or never.
Ember was lighting a candle when he heard the bathroom door slowly creak open. Turning around, his heart skipped a beat as he took in the sight before him. Speckle stood there with a bright blush on her cheeks, her gaze directed towards the floor. Her long hair was draped over her shoulders, stopping just below her elbow. “Then that's your answer. You make it seem like I’d be disgusted by you.”
She avoided his eyes. “I sorta did,” she murmured softly, wincing at how distrusting she sounded.
She looked up as she was pulled onto his lap, her body tensing as he undid the clasp on her bra, pulling it off swiftly. His hands slowly trailed down her breasts, and he gave them a gentle squeeze as he started to kiss her neck. “Hmm...no. Every inch of you is perfect to me,” he hummed, letting his hands roam lower. Pausing when he heard her giggle when he pressed her stomach, he smirked. “Little ticklish there, are we? I'll keep that in mind for later.” She gave him a quizzical look but remained silent. Ember continued to kiss at her neck, making little love bites on it as well. Her hands did some exploring of their own, lightly running down his toned back before resting on his muscular chest.
Her tail began to subconsciously sway to and fro when he reached up to scratch behind her ears, kissing her lips in the process. She kissed back, her fingers flat against his cheeks as she held his head in place. His head tilted to one side, and he leaned forward to further deepen the kiss, lightly sucking on her bottom lip. Speckle internally cooed at the contact, pressing her body closer to his.
