chapter 1 : a terrible mind.
Prologue.
It was a bright day in the park on ponyville. There was a pony, he stared the bright clean sky while sitting on a bench in that park when suddenly, he saw a rainbow in the sky. He knew that rainbow created by a factory in the cloudsdale city. But for him, that rainbow look difference. It’s look more solid. He wondering about it until a pony running into him.
“zack !”
That pony look at that running pony while yelling at him,
“dave ! where have you been ?”
Dave smile at his friend while drinking a bottle of water.
“I’m thirsty, zack. So I bought some drink. What are you staring at, zack ?”
Zack pointing at the rainbow he saw.
“look at that rainbow, dave. Don’t you think it look… difference ? it’s look more solid and the color look less brighter than usual.”
Dave looking at the rainbow. He look surprised.
“so that rumor is true…”
Zack suddenly look at his friend.
“what, dave ?”
“there’s a rumors spread among the unicorn and earth ponies, some ponies said that cloudsdale weather corporation doesn’t use unicorn to make rainbow anymore. They found a way to make a rainbow without them. They…”
“WHAT !!!!???”
Dave surprised when he saw his friend look shocked.
“Dave, you know my dream is to become a rainbow maker unicorn. I told you in class last week. They broke my dream. THEY BROKE MY DREAM !!!”
Dave look at his friend. Zack crying so loud. Dave confused, don’t know what to said. Zack finally calm down. Then, he look at dave. He said in angry voice,
“I’ll swear, I’ll make a rainbow one day. To prove they’re wrong…”
Seventeen years later…
“come on zack, this way !”
Two unicorn running through the darkness of night. They now right bellow cloudsdale flight school.
“zack, hide behind the bushes ! your bright yellow color can be seen from above.”
“but dave, aren’t your bright grey color can be seen from above too ?”
“oh, yeah.”
they hide behind the bushes until morning.
“so dave, why are we hide here ?”
“hah… didn’t I told you before ?”
“I’m forget about it again, sorry.”
“so, one day I walk here. Then I look to the sky. And then I saw it. A weird carriage fly in the sky. What unusual is that carriage going from the flight school to the weather factory. I saw that on the school flight test day. After that, I didn’t saw anything. So, my opinion is that today, that same carriage will show up again today. And if…”
Suddenly, a carriage fly slowly to the flight school.
“zack, look !”
“yeah, dave. I saw that too.”
Unfortunately, a big cloud blockade their visions.
“we can’t see anything now. Any idea, dave ?”
“what, why me ?”
“oh come on, dave. Your IQ is the highest in the school. Think of something.”
“fine.”
Dave look around. There’s a lot of trees. But he can’t climb a tree. Beside, these trees aren’t tall enough. Then, something comes to his mind.
“Air balloons ! we can rent one.”
“great, dave ! come on ! by the way you the one who pay, okay.”
“Okay… wait, WHAT !???”
“There’s no time for think about it dave. We need to go fast !”
“Yes, but WHY ME !???”
They’re running fast. And they quickly rent an air balloon. Soon, they fly to the bright blue sky.
“so dave, have you ever use an air balloon before ? because I haven’t.”
“well, it’s easy to…”
“great, you drive it.”
“…control…wait, what ?”
“gotta go fast, dave !”
“haah… fine.”
They now right beside the flight school. They saw the test until the end.
“look, zack. Nopony want to help that poor pony.”
“dave, I know what you’re thinking. But it’s too riskful to go there. Let just see it from here.”
“you’re right zack. But..”
“just don’t think it too much...”
“Look zack ! the test is over !”
“look dave ! those failed pony is going to that carriage ! include that falling one”
“zack, do you bring your binoculars ?”
“oh yeah, I’m almost forget about it.”
They see those pony get in to the carriage, one by one. And then it moving.
“they moving, dave. Let’s go !!!”
They following the carriage. Across equestria. Until they finally there, cloudsdale weather corporation.
“they forced those pony in ! how cruel !”
“I’m not surprise since they are Pegasus.”
“Btw, zack. Why you hate Pegasus that much ?”
“they’re think they’re the greatest. They like to show off their stupid wing.”
“that’s makes sense for me.”
Finally, the last pony get inside. Suddenly, the doors are close.
“now we can’t see anything.”
“look, dave. There’s a small ventilation fan right there. Looks like they forget to put the fan in the vent. Let’s go closer”
“aren’t that too riskful, zack ?”
“nopody out here, dave. We can get closer. Remember dave, sometimes don’t think too much.”
Then, these two pony see something they never forget in their live. They see the “real” process of making a rainbow.
“WHAT THE TARTARUS HAPPENED HERE !!!???”
“this… this is what they hide…the material for making the rainbow…”
“I KNOW, ZACK THEY USING PEGASUS FOALS !!! THE ONE WHO FAI…”
“DAVE, DUCK !!!”
They duck immediately when one of the guard hear some voices. He look around for a second. Finally he turn around and see the ventilation fan.

He turn back.
“ZACK, WHAT GOING ON IN HERE ???”
“DAVE, CALM DOWN !!! “
“listen dave, do you hear that ?”
Dave start to listening. They hear the conversation .
“… but how long ? how long you all doing this ?”
It’s the sound of one of the foal. Echoing through the entire room. Then, a red stallion move closer to her. answer her question.

One of the guard hear some noise.
“DR. ATMOSPHERE !!! THERE’S SOMEPONY AROUND HERE !!!”
“WHAT !??? GUARD, SCAN THIS AREA !!! NOW !!!”
The guards start to searching.
“DAVE, FOCUS !!! WE NEED TO GET OUT FROM HERE !!!”
The two unicorns start to fly their air balloon far away from the factory. They land the air balloon and run until they think they safe.

“DAVE, CALM DOWN !!”
“hah..hah..hah..”
“Dave, do you thinking what I thinking ?”
“Yes, we must report this to celestia ! we must…”
“…this is the reason why they didn’t need unicorn anymore…”
“yes and…”
“…zack ?”
“THEY UNDERESTIMATE UNICORNS !!! THEY EVEN USING THEIR OWN RACE FOR MAKING RAINBOW !!!”
“ZACK !!! THAT NOT WHAT I THINK !“
“…remember when I said I always want to be a rainbow maker unicorn… and when I said I will prove they’re wrong…”

“…if I can’t make a rainbow…”
“…I can make other become a rainbow…”
“ZACK !!!”
“think about it, we know there’s a device to extract color to create spectra, why don’t we do the same ? but, we will use unicorn because basically, only unicorn who can make rainb…”
“ARE YOU CRAZY, ZACK !!!??”
“what is it dave ?. aren’t you proud if unicorn make rainbow back ?”
“YOU’RE INSANE, ZACK !!! THEY KILL FOALS FOR MAKING RAINBOW !!!”
“they using Pegasi for material. Not unicorn..”
“ZACK STORMLIGHT !!! STOP WHAT YOU’RE THINKING, NOW. OR I’LL REPORT IT TO PRINCESS CELESTIA.”
“you don’t have enough evidence to do that. Btw, if you report it. Those pegasi will hunt you down.”

“you want to start a fight, dave ?”

Then, the trees and grass witness a fight between two unicorn. Finally, as the sun fall down and the moon rise. An unicorn walk away from an unicorn who lying down on the ground.

“I’ll going to that factory again to do some “research”. I’ll tell you if I made it.”
“…you have a terrible mind, zack…”
“huh, no dave…”
