The Crystal Empire, home to a large population of ponies from all walks of life best known for their translucently gradient manes and tails: of them, it's currently ruled by the likes of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza and her husband, Prince Shining Armor; of course, it's only her who is alone at this time.

In the midst of her midday stroll, she had come across a random stranger traveling around throughout the area; unbeknownst to the rest of the denizens, the former had instantaneously learned about the identity of the latter: an old enemy from the distant past whom had almost brought Equestria to ruin.

Rather than informing those best suited to defending the rest of her subjects from the returning menace, Princess Cadance has an idea on how to handle this on her own; as a matter of fact, her plan would help her at least kill two birds with one stone: not only would the Crystal Empire be saved from calamity, she will have much needed satisfaction.
