Chapter 2:Tompsons interrogation

As the eight ponies countinued down the hallway the sound of crying filled the air,with no one being around they are confused as to what was crying

the crying got louder as they neared the Interrogation room, but the only thing in the room was the creature holding something in it's hands crying, so figuring this was their only chance they cast the spell to see into his memories.

POV Jack

When I searched my pockets I never expected to find a picture of him, my cousin Jake the boy I made a promise to, and the promise I couldn't keep but as I looked at the picture I felt a memory tug at my brain, 'hey little buddy how are you doing?' the ghost of me asked Jake as he sat on his bed with a saddened expression.

'M-mommy said I wouldn't get anything for christmas this year' his ghost replied as he blamed himself when in truth it was his parent falts and I knew that,

'Well buddy santa told me that you are gonna get a big suprise this year' I replied showing him the box behind my back 'Merry Christmas!' I said to him watching a smile form on his face.

'R-really for me?' he asked, as he looked on in disbelief.

'yup I managed to save up enough to get you a special something' I replied giving him a hug before walking over to the wall of books, 'so big guy which story do you want tonight?' I asked him already guessing the awnser.

'C-can you read the one about the' he never finished his sentence as his mother busted the door open with an empty beer bottle and a lit ciggarete.

'Hey you little *hic* shit I said no *hic* talking!' His mother scoulded him before chucking the bottle at him only for it to hit Jack square in his chest.

'And I thought I made it clear that you were not allowed to touch this child or I would have you both hauled of to prison!' Jack all but spat at her venom clear in his voice

Jakes mother was about to reply but instead just walked out the door and slammed it, 'hey it's okay Jake the mean ladies gone' I said trying to comfort the poor kid 'and you know what as soon as we take back New York, I'll come back for you' I said before going back to sitting with him as the memory faided.

POV third person

The now nine ponies stared on in amazement, sympathy, and sadness as they saw what he did through his life and Celestia was the forst to speak up "well my little *sniff* ponies it do belive it is time to intorduce ourselves" She said trying to keep from crying when she was wondering how anypony could be so cruel to a child and how another child couple live without a family.

As the door opened and the nine walked in Jack could instantly tell who one was as she was the one who punched him right in the cheek,along with her were eight others two big ones, and six regular sized ones not wanting to be rude he spoke up, "so what now *sniff* gonna haul me off to prison before executing me?" He Asked the fear of the answer noticeable in his voice.

The ponies all cringed at the mention of death, since equestria hasn't executed any pony for over 3 thousand years, "why would thou believe that we would kill you?" Luna asked horrified that anypony would think of execution. "Well Why wouldn't you kill me? I'm a threat to you and your people" Tompson replied questioning how smart the creatures truly were.

Princess celetia decided that they should introduce themselves since the meeting was going down a dark road, "*ahem* allow me to introduce myself I am princess celestia" celestia stated before pointing a hoof at Luna "this is my sister princess Luna" she added watching the as tompson thought of something.'luna is Latin for moon and sol means sun' he thought to himself "so wait your names mean the sun and the moon?" He asked wondering why they were called that.

celestia on the other hoof was dumbfounded as to how he managed to figure it out so fast but before she could ask spitfire cut in. "Yeah their the rulers of equestria, and by the way the names captain spitfire" soon finishing her sentence Jack shot up into a saluting stance, only to rapids how much damage the seeker mine did, falling to the floor with an audible *THUMP* clinching his chest as blood came up his throat and out of his mouth, he could hear screaming but it was muffled as he faded into blackness.

Spitfire,the elements and the princesses just watched as the creature saluted to Spitfire before collapsing, as soon as they took of his jacket they saw the damage burn marks going up his chest, scars from old wars, and a huge cut going down the middle of his chest. "I NEED MEDICAL IN HERE NOW!" Spitfire yelled at the wonder bolt outside who heard the screaming, racing off to get medical they all turned back to the creature wearing some kind of metal tags. Which read,

thats when she realized the tags were to Identify him, putting the tags back she watched the medics pull him off the ground and onto the stretcher before running out of the room heading to the medical wing.

1 hour later

*Beep*...*Beep*...*Beep*...

the constant beeping was getting on tompsons nerves as he started getting up

*Beep*...*Beep*...*Beep*

'I swear I'm gonna destroy that beeping thing' Tompson thought as the beeping continued to annoy him, eventually he had enough and blindly reached out throwing his arm everywhere until he reached his target punching the machine causing it to detach its self from him with a steady *BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP* 'god damn it' Tompson thought as he covered his ears trying to rlive himself of the head ache.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT FLAT-LINED!" the scratchy voice yelled as Tompson heard footsteps running towards the door before it was flung open by a yellow ball of fur, "wait *huff* your not *huff* dead?" Spitfire asked as she looked at the man who was now staring at her with a look of fear realizing the events from earlier were in fact real. He stared for what felt like hours before falling backwards into unconscious the voice yelling his name as he blacked out.
