Bad Word

Rarity was walking back from the supplies shop as she had just picked up a few orders for material that she needed for her shop that week, while she was walking back home she saw Scootaloo walking outside by herself, Rarity thought that it was odd as she usually hung out with her other friends, she wondered where Sweetie Belle was. She decided to see what was going on. She went over to Scootaloo.

"Scootaloo what are you doing by yourself? Where are your friends? I thought all three of you were hanging out like usual but I can see that you aren't doing that today, what's wrong?" Rarity asked her. She was concerned for her as something was visibly wrong with her. Scootaloo looked at her.

Me and my friends were playing like usual today, Scootaloo was on the swings and me and Sweetie Belle were playing tag...." Scootaloo started to say but stopped immediately, Rarity tried to encourage her as she needed to know what happened.

"Scootaloo you have to tell me in order for me to solve this problem for you, you said you three were playing tag and going on the swings and then what happened? Just take your time I'm not trying to rush you I just want to know as you stopped immediately without telling me." Rarity said as she urged her to tell her about the issue. Scootaloo sighed and just went on to tell her.

"We were playing tag and I accidentally bumped into her and she fell over, I didn't mean it at all! I apologized and everything and so when she got up she rejected my apology and she called me a....she...called me a...." Scootaloo tried to say but she hesitated with fear. Rarity proceeded to help her.

"Scootaloo it's okay, just tell me what she said, you can tell me." Rarity said. Scootaloo nodded as she was breathing heavily she calmed down and proceeded to tell her the word.

"She called me a ######. It upset me so much! I don't have any idea why she said that to me but it upset me!" Scootaloo said as she cried. Rarity had a look of horror on her face, she couldn't believe her sister would say something like that, she didn't even know Sweetie Belle knew about that word, she wondered where she heard it from.

"Scootaloo listen to me...she didn't know what she was doing but that doesn't excuse what she did, she probably picked up that word from somewhere, I know that she didn't pick it up from me, it's going to be okay because here is what I'm going to do, I'm going to go home and I'm going to punish her accordingly and after a few hours I'm going to bring to where you are and she's going to apologize to you." Rarity said.

"Thanks Rarity. I'll see you then. Thank you for letting me tell you." Scootaloo said, Rarity told her that she was grateful for her to tell her and then Rarity went home. When she got home she called out for Sweetie Belle.

"Sweetie Belle come down here immediately." Rarity said, Sweetie Belle seized up in fear, she knew what this was about, she was just upset at Scootaloo and that's why she said that word. She didn't know how else to explain it and that worried her. She walked to where Rarity was. Sweetie Belle stuttered with fear as Rarity glared at her.

"I just talked to Scootaloo, she told me that while you were playing with your friends you were accidentally bumped over by Scootaloo she apologized and you know how you repaid her? She told me that you called her a ######. Is this true!?" Rarity asked. Sweetie Belle hesitated win fear.

"ANSWER!" Rarity screamed. Sweetie Belle cried as she answered while she shook." She stuttered. Sweetie Belle's hands were shaking as she breathed erraticly while she grew upset

"Yes I did...I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt her feelings I was just upset you don't have to yell at me!" Sweetie Belle yelled as she cried.

"Don't you dare talk back to me!! I'm your older sister and you never talk back to authority! Your going to walk over to where Scootaloo is and your going to apologize to her in a proper manner and when you get home, ohohoho you are going to sorry when we back here! Start walking over to her now!" Rarity yelled.

Sweetie Belle hesitated so Rarity grabbed her by the arm and dragged her over to where Scootaloo was waiting as soon as Scootaloo saw them she was shocked by how angry Rarity was at Sweetie Belle. Rarity released her and spoke.

"Apologize to Scootaloo right now, you are her friend and you said something mean to her! That is no way to treat a friend! Apologize!" Rarity spoke. Sweetie Belle cried.

"I'm sorry Scootaloo." Sweetie Belle said.

"Your forgiven, everything's cool, I'm not mad I was just upset." Scootaloo said. Sweetie Belle thanked her and Rarity and Scootaloo talked for a bit more about when Sweetie Belles punishment would be over which Rarity told her that it would be over tomorrow. Scootaloo thanked them and watched them leave. When they got home Rarity brought Sweetie Belle to the bathroom. Sweetie Belle wondered what was going to happen.

"If you move from this bathroom, you won't be able sit down for a week. Do you understand me!?" Rarity told her in a stern manner. Sweetie Belle nodded as she had tears roll down her face. Rarity left as she went to get something.

Sweetie Belle wondered what Rarity was going to punish her with, she was terrified, she wished that she never got into this mess, she should have never said that word, Rarity came back with a bar of soap in her hand.

"So Sweetie Belle since you say dirty words to people and call your friends dirty words we are going to get it clean....literally, I'm going to wash your mouth out with soap for a few moments and if you remove that bar of soap from your mouth before the time being you won't be able to sit down for a week." Rarity ranted. Sweetie Belle hesitated.

"Open your mouth!" Rarity yelled, Sweetie Belle feared that more punishment would befall her so she opened her mouth wide and Rarity stuck the bar of soap into her mouth, Sweetie Belle cried as she felt the vile taste invade her mouth. Rarity then sat her down and watched Sweetie Belle while timing her.

Sweetie Belle had tears fall down her face as she regretted calling her friend such a horrible word, even if she hated the punishment she knew that she deserved it, Rarity continued to time her and then finally she removed the soap from Sweetie Belle's mouth.

"Alright rinse your mouth out and go to your room, I'll tell you when your punishment is over, don't you dare do anything until I tell you when you can come out of your room. I want you to sit on the bed and think about what you did for the punishment. I'll tell you when you can get up." Rarity said. Sweetie Belle rinsed out her mouth and then went to her room and sat on her bed like she was told.

Rarity cleaned up the sink and then sat in the living room and tried to calm herself by doing some puzzles in the newspaper. Rarity kept track of the time as Sweetie Belle cried in her room while she thought about the awful thing she had done. After an hour Rarity called her out, Sweetie Belle went to her sister as she hung her head in shame, she lifted it to look at her sister.

"Don't ever say that word again Sweetie Belle, what you said was extremely racist, don't ever say it again! Do you understand?" Rarity said, Sweetie Belle nodded and Rarity spoke.

"Im sorry for yelling at you but I was very angry at you Sweetie Belle so don't do it again okay?" Rarity said, Sweetie Belle just nodded in response. And Rarity spoke again.

"You can do what you want now I'm done punishing you." Rarity said, Sweetie Belle went back outside to try and see if she could calm down in privacy, she approached Apple Bloom and she allowed Sweetie Belle to talk to her for a while and it calmed her down. Sweetie Belle told Apple Bloom what she said to Scootaloo and Apple Bloom told her that she heard about it from Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle told her that she was punished.

Scootaloo appeared and Sweetie Belle told her that she was punished and that she was really sorry and she told her that she would never say that name again. Scootaloo told her that she was already forgiven and Apple Bloom also told her she was forgiven by her as well and they all put the incident behind them as they hung out. Sweetie Belle was glad that everyone turned out okay.

Sweetie Belle went home after a while and her friends also went home, Sweetie Belle was glad that the incident was over and she was glad that her friends forgave her and she was also glad that everything turned out alright in the end.
