Chapter 1: The Equestrian Music Battles
"My next song is I'll Love You By The Beach," I said, "Please enjoy this song, for it is dedicated toward my one and only."
Baby, You've seen me on stage

5 minutes later
I'll love you by the beach
It was over, my greatest song yet. I hope she like it. It took me forever to write this one. Wait, why isn't anyone clapping? I looked over to the audience. Everyone there had fainted. Welp, I just wrecked Michael Jackson performances. I walked backstage where I saw Sweetie Belle standing there.
"Oh my gosh, Silver, that was awesome!" She said.
"That was an early morning concert," I said, "That was nothing."
"But everybody is passed out!" She said, "I hope nobody's dead, though."
"Hopefully, not," I said, "Anyways meet me at Manehattan Beach tonight by 8:00, 'kay?"
"Wait, what, why?" She asked.
"Just meet me there, okay?" I told her.
"Silver, just tell me already!" She said.
"See ya!" I said, as I dashed off toward the Equestrian Music Battles. Sweetie Belle decided that she would just stay at the hotel, instead of being there. She wanted to finish up her homework before Monday, and this seemed to be the perfect time.
The moment I arrived, I noticed some of my competition. There were artists like Countess Coloratura, Sapphire Shores, Neon Lights, Lyra Heartstrings, Octavia Philharmonica, and DJ PON-3 a.k.a Vinyl Scratch.
"Hey kid!" Vinyl said, Noticing me in this sky, "I hoped there would be actual competition this year!"
"Quiet down Vinyl!" I whispered, landing next to her, "I don't want other Pop Stars to notice me!"
"Why don't you turn around?" A voice asked me. I turned around. It was the Countess.
"Hi, there Countess Coloratura!" I said, "I didn't notice you there!"
"No need to worry, kid," She said, "Unless you only see me as competition."
"Umm..." I said, "Good luck!"
"Smooth, kid, smooth" Vinyl said. I jabbed her in her side.
"Now I know she was being rude," A voice said, "But jabbing Vinyl in the side is my job."
"Haha, goodbye" I said. I ran off before I had to talk to her. There is no way in Tartarus I would talk to Octavia Philharmonica. I hated her.
"Night Ink! Eeek!" I heard some mares shriek, "Can we get a picture with you?"
"Sure" I said. One of the mares grabbed me and pulled out a camera.
Snap!
The picture was quick, but refreshing to hear some of my fans. I took the picture from the camera, waved it, and signed it with my lucky quill.
"Thank you!" They said.
"You're welcome!" I said.
"Attention , will musicians DJ PON-3, Octavia Philharmonica, and Night Ink, please come backstage?" A Stallion said on the mic. I walked backstage and saw artists like Green Hay, Flank-182, 5 Ponies of Summer, Backstreet Colts, and so much more. There were also artists like Slim Pony, Dr. Mane, and Ponicris.
"Well, well, if it ain't Night Ink," Slim Pony said, noticing me.
"This kid, pfft, I got this in the bag" Dr. Mane said.
"Hey, give him a chance" Calum Hoof, the bassist of 5 Ponies of Summer said.
"Give me a chance?" I said, "Really? I just finished a concert that was sold out two minutes. Everypony fainted."
Everypony looked at me in disbelief.
"Or they all died" A voice said. It was Joe Trotman of Fall Out Colt.
"Hey!" Another voice said. It was Mark Trottus of Flank-182.
"Quiet, old man, he has no chance" Ashtrot Irwin said.
"Hey. my next song is dedicated to you, Asshole!" Slim Pony said, "It goes like this: [CENSORED]"
"What the buck" I said. We all just stared at him in disbelief. Did he just say that? Did he just destroy a member of 5 Ponies of Summer?
"Will Flank-182 please come on stage?" A colt asked over the intercom.
Flank-182 came back after a few minutes... in tears.
"What the heck happened?" I asked.
"It's best to not ask, kid" Slim Pony said. I nodded in agreement.
"WIll Green Hay come up on stage, you're next!" The announcer said.
Another five minutes later, Green Hay came back... looking mad as buck.
"Ponicris" The announcer said.
This time it only took 2 minutes. ANd what I saw was horrifying. Ponicris with fire in his eyes.
"Dr. Mane" The intercom said.
Five minutes later, Dr. Mane had come out with the world's ugliest expression.
"Backstreet Colts" The announcer said. ANd so it went on and on, until it was just me and Slim Pony.
"Hey, kid, whatever happens out there, just buck the mic up, okay?" He said.
"Okay" I said.
"Slim Pony and Night Ink, you're on stage in five" A stallion said, walking backstage.
"What, I didn't sign up for a rap battle!" I said.
"Good luck" Slim said.
We walked out on stage. The crowd was huge.
"Slim, you're first" The judges said. He began singing this song.
After about five minutes I was next. So I began to sing a certain song I wrote when i was mad at my dad.

"Wow" Simon said, "I vote Silver."
"Same here" Blake said.
"Yep" Harry said.
"The winner is Silver Blast!" The announcer said. I had won.

"Sweetie Belle!" I said walking through the door, "I'm back!"
"Hi, Silver" She said.
"I gotta run," I said, "Just gotta take my hair extensions off and special contact lenses off!" I said.
"Okay" She said.
"Remember, 7:30!" I said.
"I got it!" She said.
As soon as my extensions and lenses were out I left. I walked down the street with my wings covering my cutie mark. Didn't want to be noticed. Being famous wasn't easy, especially in public. I saw the store I needed. It was a flower store. I needed roses for tonight.
"Hey, kid, bat ponies aren't allowed in here." The guy at the cash register said.
"Hey dude, nobody likes racism," I said, "Hey, I have an order!"
"Bat ponies are a sin!" He said.
"First off, I'm not even purebred," I said, "Second of all, shut up, or you won't like meeting my mentor."
"And who is that?" He asked.
"Princess Luna," I said, "Also I am a royal guard, I'm an Element of Harmony and so much more important than you. So I'd shut up you dumb piece of horsehay."
"You can't talk to me that way!" He said.
"Actually I can, I'm a Noble" I said, "You racist idiot."
"I swear on Princess Luna's flanks if you don't get out of this store, I will call the cops!" He said.
"And?" I said, in a mocking tone.
"And you'll be arrested!" He said.
"They won't do anything to me," I said, "I'm not breaking any laws."
"You stupid ass bat pony!" He said. He shot a beam that blasted through my wing.
"Now you've done it" I said. I activated my horn. Within seconds, my team of guards charged into here armor on.
"Sir you're under arrest for assault, assault on an officer, and attempted murder." One of the guards said.
"FIrst let him sell me the bouquet I ordered a week ago, that I've already paid for." I said.
"Fine take your bouquet, but you'll be hearing from my lawyer!" He said giving me the roses.
"And you'll meet the Princess of the moon, who isn't as forgiving as her sister!" I said.
"Captain Silver!" Flash Sentry, my second in command said, "Shouldn't you cauterize that wound before you bleed out?"
"Yeah Flash, can I borrow your spear." I asked, taking his spear. I heated up the end with my magic. I pressed it against my wing and yelped in pain. I gave the spear back.
"Captain Silver!" Another guard said, "Permission to escort this man away!"
"You may, soldier," I said, "Have a good day."
I left the building. And set off toward the beach. I looked down at my watch. 7:20. Wait... 7:20! I'm gonna be late. It's all the way on the other side of the city and I can't fly!
"Night Ink" Somepony said. It was Slim!
"Hey kid, need some help?" He asked.
"Yeah, I need to get to Manehatten Beach by 7:30!" I said, "And I need my band! But they're not going to like me bothering them this late!"
"Well you got us." Three ponies said. I recognized those voices. It was Green Hay!
"Mike, you're a pegasus can you fly me to the beach?" I asked.
"No," He said, "I have a better idea."
I looked where he was looking and saw a chariot. But it had speakers in the back. Giant speakers. And I recognized them. They were Vinyl's super amplified subwoofers.
"Well, kid, hop on!" Slim said.
