Cupcakes: The Fluttershy Story
Fluttershy woke up in a dark chamber. As her fear rose so did the pace of her breathing and a putrid smell rushed into her nostrils. A smell that reminded her of the prey caught by her eagles and falcons sometimes left on her doorstep, only much staler. A light flickered on from across the room. Fluttershy gasped when she saw her, Rainbow Dash. The poorly stitched, blood stained, wingless, object stared at her from the back of the horrid place. Her face was immortalized with fear, horror, and pain. Fluttershy shuddered at the sight of her once lively, athletic friend. Some other lights flashed on, blinding Fluttershy, once her eyes adjusted she saw what had invaded her nostrils. Intestines lined the walls, bones in piles all across the floor, which like the walls were coated with blood fresh and dry, vital organs nailed to wooden posts were all around the room, and tanning racks lying here and there covered with pony, griffin, and even dog hides. What scared Fluttershy the most was the message written on the wall in fresh, scarlet blood that said, "Hello Fluttershy, ready to make cupcakes?" Fluttershy tried to remember what had happened before she fell asleep, or did she get knocked out? She didn't know. Fluttershy regained memories of the past, memories of Pinkie Pie flashed into her mind.
Pinkie Pie appeared at Fluttershy's door smiling. Which wasn't odd for Pinkie but Fluttershy thought it seemed a little off. Fluttershy pushed it to the back of her mind.
"Hello Pinkie Pie, what brings you here?" Fluttershy asks with a smile.
"Oh lemme think, now I remember! I wanted to ask you if you wanted to help me make cupcakes!" Pinkie replies enthusiastically, hoping up and down.
"Cupcakes? Oh sure I'll help you make cupcakes, I got all my chores done today! Plus it will be a nice break from all of Angel's demands, he has been a real jerk lately," Fluttershy says, excepting Pinkie's offer.
"Great! Let's go we are burning sunlight!" Pinkie Pie yells as she begins to hop in the direction of Ponyville.
At Sugar Cube Corner Pinkie Pie begins mixing batter for her cupcakes. She then starts to sharpen some kitchen knifes. "Uh, Pinkie I don't usually use knifes when I make cupcakes." Fluttershy says to Pinkie Pie in a confused tone.
"Oh, uh, these are for other things like cutting cakes and such. I just decided to sharpen them before I forgot, they were getting quite dull," Pinkie Pie reassures Fluttershy.
"Oh, okay then I was just wondering because it seemed kinda odd. By the way, what is this red stuff in the sink?" Fluttershy asks as she stares into the dark red sink.
"Oh! That’s just dye silly!" Pinkie Pie says to Fluttershy, surprised by the question. "For these cupcakes I'm making my own frosting from scratch and I accidentally dropped a open bottle of red dye into the sink earlier."
"Oh, okay, sorry for being so nosy. I was just curious." Fluttershy apologies as she seems to shrink a little from fright of being judged by her actions.
"Oh its okay Fluttershy. I understand why you would be so curious by these strange things!" Pinkie says as she wraps a hoof around Fluttershy, bringing her closer.
"Thank you Pinkie for-" Fluttershy is cut off as a needle of filled with anesthetics sinks into her back and sends Fluttershy into the darkness of unconsciousness.
"Oh no! Pinkie are you there? What's going on?!?" Fluttershy screams as she is stricken again with fear. Fluttershy hears the creak of hinges. Pinkie steps in the room smiling with the same slight creepiness that Fluttershy had detected when Pinkie knocked on her door.
"Finally awake huh?" Pinkie asks in a sarcastic tone as she circles around Fluttershy who was on the brink of tears. "You ready to make cupcakes?"
"WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO ME?!?" Fluttershy screams as her tears finally begin to rush like a waterfall onto her face.
"Oh its not what I'm going to do to you. It's what I'm going to do to you and then do with you afterwards," Pinkie says to Fluttershy which causes her to whimper as she cries. "Oh, I hope you don't you scream too much. I still want to hear after this you know!" Pinkie says as she picks up a scalpel and begins to run the dull edge along Fluttershy's chin, only making her whimper more.
Fluttershy's mind is filled with thoughts, mostly of fear, a little hatred, and somewhere in the back of her head a thought sparks up. She knows she shouldn't, but Pinkie took Rainbow Dash, her closest friend. Ever since she was born Rainbow has been there for her, defending her honor, playing games, and being an all around good friend. It was too much, the small amount of hatred for Pinkie overcame her fear. The hatred combined with Fluttershy's self preservation instinct fueled her idea of using what Fluttershy was told to be forbidden. The stare. Not the stare used to command animals or freeze foes but one used for mass destruction.
Pinkie got onto the platform that Fluttershy was strapped to and was now staring right into Fluttershy's eyes, they were now bloodshot from crying. Suddenly, the blood vessels disappeared, and both Pinkie's and Fluttershy's pupils widened. Fluttershy stared into the Pinkie's very soul. Now the tides were turned, fear crashed through Pinkie's body and she felt her stomach drop like she had just eaten an anvil. Pinkie's blood froze as Fluttershy stared deeper and deeper into her eyes, suddenly Pinkie began to cry. However, her tears were not of water but of blood. Her face ran red with the drops of blood cascading from her eyes. Pinkie wanted to scream but she couldn't, like her windpipe collapsed. Her eyes rolled to the back of her head and they began to melt, soon flowing back into her eye sockets. The liquid flooded her brain and she began to twitch like a rabid animal as the combination of a heart attack and a seizure wrecked her body. Her face scrunches up and locks into a horrid facial expression. Inside Pinkie's head her now liquid eyes meet with her brain causing it to overheat and thus overheat her whole body. Her brain begins to break down and it too turns into liquid, sloshing around as the seizure-heart attack combo destroys her helpless body even more. Pinkie falls onto the ground and tenses up once before all her muscles relax and she drifts off into death. Her mouth hangs open and begins to expel steam as do her now hollow eye sockets.
Fluttershy sighs with relief. She works at the straps holding her down and finally she breaks free. With revenge still on her mind Fluttershy takes a recently used hacksaw and begins to work at Pinkie's head. After her head is freed from the rest of her body Fluttershy begins to skin Pinkie's skull and she places the hide on one of the few un-ocupied tanning racks. Fluttershy then carves a large hole into the top of Pinkie's skull revealing the combonation of melted eye and brain fluid that pooled into her skull's cavity. The steam from the liquid enters Fluttershy's nostrils. What would make anypony puke the instant they smelled the disgusting liquids made Fluttershy have a sense of honor and pride for avenging her best friend. Fluttershy wasn't done yet, she grabbed the newly sharpened kitchen knife, courtesy of Pinkie Pie herself, and began to carve the bone into what now looked like a bowl. She put the "lid" back on top and flew home while the liquid was still warm.
When Fluttershy was home she was met by a very angry and hungry Angel. "What do you want Angel?" She asked the impatient rabbit who was pointing to his mouth. "Oh, you want food I'm sorry! I forgot about your dinner. Here have some of this," Fluttershy pushes the "bowl" over to Angel and Fluttershy lifts the lid. Angel is starving by now and he dives his head into the liquid without hesitation. He finishes it in less than 5 minuets. "Wow, you were really hungry," Fluttershy says as she picks up the bowl and throws it into her sink. Fluttershy is exhausted and she she makes her way to her stairs. Unfortunately for her Angel is stopping her at the bottom of her stairs. "What Angel?" she says clearly irritated. Angel puts on a confused face and points at the bowl. "Oh, you want to know what it was?" Angel nods and smiles. Fluttershy bends down and whispers into Angel’s ear and then proceeds to walk up the stairs with a smile. Angel just stands frozen in place, immobilized by what Fluttershy had told him. He then opens Fluttershy’s front door, walks outside, and is never seen again. Fluttershy didn't care, she was happy to have that little tyrant gone.
