Perfect Harmony
And Stars Turn To Dust
Previous ChapterAuthor's Note
Incredible. After all that awfulness, here you read the conclusion. *Sighs.* Well, hope it was worth some value of entertainment.
If you're wondering about the "[BEEP]" joke near the end of the chapter, it's a reference to my main story where, in Sunset's world, every profanity word Stardust makes is an obnoxious beeping noise to his own ears. And yes, it is annoying as it sounds, but what can ya do?
And Stars Turn To Dust
The morning shades impacted Stardust's bleary eyes, prompting him to blink rapidly, unable to shield himself from the light as, for some reason, his arms weren't able to help him. Probably exhausted from being used in that intense, fantasy dream he had last night about Twilight, her human self and Sunset-
"...Huh."
Alright, last night certainly wasn't a dream then. More, it was his Birthday come early! That, or he was in heaven. Either worked. Three slender bodies, two purple and one yellow, laid against both his sides and chest, rendering him unable to move and already feeling pins and needles against his pressured skin. So last night definitely wasn't a dream.
Moreso, the best thing ever!
As though hearing that mental triumph, groans emerged from the throats of the awakening girls. Three pairs of eyes regarded each other curiously, then towards his meek hazel orbs, evidently reaching the conclusion last night wasn't some fantasy dream of theirs too.
To his left, Sunset rubbed her forehead and chuckled tiredly. "Alright, so last night actually happened..."
Human Twilight was taking it less better than her friend, blinking between us on my right after trying, and failing, to sit upwards after last night's exhausting spectacle. "I can't believe it... Did we really... Do that...?" Then, realizing her admirable nakedness, the shy teen attempted to cover herself with the discarded quilt, but unable to reach, instead burying her chest into the mattress.
Equally embarrassed, but moreso composed, Princess Twilight's head lifted up to meet Stardust's gaze, the teen resting on his chest comfortably. "Last night... Was absolutely incredible. I know it helped, Jack..."
"It did more than help, love..." He smirked, exhaustively so. "It brought closer together than ever. Originally I had planned for something like after our wedding, but..."
Sunset grinned crookedly. "You planned to sleep with your girlfriend, her alternate self and I? You rascal."
Shared chuckles, the four lying comfortably against one another. That was, until human Twilight pointed out curiously. "So... What now?" They turned to her, the blushing teen adding nervously. "What does this mean for us? We... We probably can't just forget this ever happened."
"Nor would I want to..." Sunset muttered, then realizing she voiced that out-loud and blushed sheepishly at Stardust and pony Twilight's humoured stares. The her expression turned faintly concerned. "But she does bring up a good point. What happens now, after this?"
"...I don't know." The Princess confessed, looking to her boyfriend for his thoughts.
What was he suppose to think? Taking a minute to recollect and gather his thoughts, Stardust began slowly, carefully choosing his words. "For starters, I can definitely never forget [BEEP]ing the three most beautiful women of both worlds." That prompted their flattered blushes, but they leaned closer in obvious intrigue. "I think... I think there are two ways we can go about this. One is to move on and pretend this... Amazing event never happened..."
"And the other...?" Sunset inquired expectantly, clearly eager to hear what her teacher thought of this.
"The other..." Stardust suddenly looked sheepish, grinning apologetically at his Twilight before answering with a dry throat. "We could, evolve this new relationship between us from simple lust to... Something more. Twilight... You know how it my world it's not too rare about shared couples...?"
The Princess's eyes widened, clarifying for her friends. "You're proposing a shared relationship between you and the three of us?" Sunset and human Twilight shared stunned gazes at that, the latter turning a beet red at the very proposal.
"It's just an idea, but I don't think I can ever forget about last night, especially since it was our first time together, Twilight-"
"I'm in." Sunset's voice prompted their surprised looks, the resolved expression firm on Sunset's faintly smirking face. "I... Don't think I can deny how I feel about Stardust any longer after last night. And, I'm sorry, Twilight, but this wonderful moment only made me feel stronger for your boyfriend... I'm sure we could make it work if we tried..."
The Princess then turned to her human counterpart, wanting to hear her thoughts. That incited the CHS student to turn redder and shyly confess, "I-I mean... I admire Stardust a great deal. Last night was certainly amazing and life-changing... But I'm not sure I feel so strongly about him as you two do..." At seeing their expressions, Twilight then added with a tiny smile. "But... Something happened then, something wondrous and... Seeing as how my pony self sees something about him worthy being with, I guess we can... Give it a try."
Nodding slowly, Stardust turned back his gaze to his first and current primary girlfriend. "What about you?"
Twilight looked between the three of them, looking deeply uncertain. "I'm not so sure. The very idea just..."
"It doesn't have to happen." Stardust added reassuringly, stroking a strand of Twilight's hair with a comforting grin. "I would never do this without your approval, like last night. Just know I'll always love you, Twilight, but if you decide to go through with this, I'll be fine with it."
"What about you?" She asked her boyfriend seriously, a soft frown on her face. "Would you be fine with this... Arrangement?"
"Well..." Stardust looked between the other two girls, both waiting with baited breath. "I think I can make enough space in my heart for two more, if this is really okay." And stared back to the Princess. "But you know I'd never consider as such without your involvement. You mean everything to me, Twilight."
"...I know." The Princess finally smiled, looking exhausted, amused and loving. "I can't reject that last night was something I'd ever forget either. Not to mention, you've been a big part of changing all three of our lives, for the better... So, I suppose... It's worth a try, if it makes my friends and special somepony happy."
The golden teen grinned tiredly. "Twilight, your happiness is my top priority."
"And now it'll be there's just as well." Twilight smirked coyly, fully giving her approval without saying exactly that. Both Sunset and human Twilight exchanged happy grins and smiles, and Stardust blinked... Before laughing in disbelieving joy.
"So the three hottest girls to myself then? I'd be an idiot to say no!" And they joined in the laughter, Stardust adding afterwards nervously, "Though that'll be something to tell our friends... Oh, and both Twilight's families."
"Especially considering it started in the more innocent Twilight's own bed." Sunset winked jokingly, taking it as stride as the teenager in question blushed brightly and buried herself into Stardust's right side adorably, muttering about cleaning up afterwards.
Pony Twilight giggled lightly, last night making her more lax than ever. "Let's worry over those obstacles later. For now, I propose we just relax together and enjoy each other's company."
"Princess, I accept that very proposal." And Stardust pulled the three closer to him, a deserving snuggle fest after last night's exerting activity.
This morning, Spike was almost traumatized for life.
Next week, it was discovered the three teens were pregnant.
Immediately after learning this, Stardust proposed to all three at once. They said yes.
The week afterwards, Sunset and human Twilight moved into the castle, still attending school despite the signs of having children.
The next week afterwards, both Shining Armor's attempted cold-blooded murder on Stardust.
Afterwards, Sombra was named Godfather, to both Shining's chagrin. Spike was thrilled to be having multiple siblings.
Nine months later, they lived happily ever after... Immediately shattered afterwards as Stardust realized the price of being a father didn't come cheap. As if Spike wasn't bad enough.
But aside from that, happily ever after!
