A busy day at Carousel Boutique
Rarity has a lot of work to do.
At the Carousel Boutique, is an ambient of relaxation, the breeze is mild, the birds are humming their ballads, and the clouds above the skies look like they have been arranged in an orderly fashion, and inside the place two mares seem to be enjoying themselves, one of them, Pinkie Pie is trying to balance things in Rarity's ,the other pony, very light gray coated and purple maned head.
It seems like she is succeeding, since the other mare seems to be very concentrated embroidering something, from what it seems its a gift to Applejack, judging by the...part of the namesake of that very pony, the apples in the embroidery work are forming a mesmerizing kaleidoscope, though there's a few pear leaves and flowers.
Pinkie, is initially confused about this, but then she remembers when AJ told her the story of her family and smiles at the nice detail, she then proceeds to pick a cherry with her mouth and place it on top of the various things Rarity has over her head, including, books, a pair of pants, a saddle, a photo frame, and a lamp, lampshade included "(She is super duper strong. Ooh, does she have earth pony relatives, or is she just fashionably strong and strongly fashionable? I really really really need to know! maybe it was in that fight with the diamond dogs, or maybe she ate something that made her strong, or maybe that boulder she carried around when we were all dull gray and mean and I was very frumpy grumpy and she was stinky stingy has given her colossal, titanic, strength! Or she is a secret spy...or maybe...)" Pinkie thinks of all the possibilities while moving the cherry on top.
While she has noticed Pinkie making balance experiments on her, Rarity doesn't move her head or tries to take away the various things on her head, holding the fabric in her hooves and moving the thread with her magic, she is far too concentrated on advancing on Applejack's gift, and she has merely finished the outline, any misstep and the work would be ruined, and though AJ isn't really concerned with superficial details, Rarity still feels that she owes her something, and it is a nice, creative way to say <> she is very determined to make something her friend will love.
Meanwhile, in Ponyville, a curious visitor is roaming across the place, he is taking a good look at the architecture and the living beings there, he is carrying a camera, and is wearing a belt with a rapier,though the rapier just seems to be resting there, he wants to take a photo of the inhabitants, but they are just staring at him either with awe, or with fear, or sometimes even both, while he doesn't mind that they are focusing their attention on him he is really bothered with the stares and glares of others, specially since they don't even dare to look him in the eyes or bother to start a friendly conversation, there are a few foals coming to approach him but they are soon stopped by their guardians, much to his dismay, finally the tension is broken by a mellow yellow pegasus with a rose mane and turquoise eyes.
" Good afternoon sir, what brings you to Ponyville?"
The stranger is amazed at her kindness and friendliness, that he just stands here looking at the pegasus who is waiting patiently for an answer, with his camera he takes a photo of her who covers herself, shyly; he stops and is still looking at her eyes, eventually she grows impatient, moving her leg on the ground and frowning.
" Sir, if you aren't willing to answer me, then I may ask you to leave.... ummm... oh, you don't speak pony?...."
The Stranger shakes his head and lifts his blinding bangs to see better the pony who was asking, with a polite tone he makes a small reverence.
"My apologies,young lady. I am looking for the fashion designer whose name is Rarity, is there a chance you may know her?"
The yellow pony goes back to smiling again, and she nods.
"Rarity is my friend, she made all my gala dresses. and my friends' dresses too"
"How wonderful, can you tell me where can I meet her?"
"Oh...she...um...lives in The Carousel Boutique..." She looks at the ground looking for something " Just let me remember the directions.....i-if you are okay with that..."
" I can wait"
Eventually, the mellow yellow pegasus explains something to the newcomer, using hoof movements and pirouettes, the stranger seems to understand as he nods while trying to remember all the details.
"... And if she asks something, just tell her Fluttershy brought you there. She will be more than happy to help a friend of a friend"
"I certainly will, thank you miss...?"
"Fluttershy. I am Fluttershy"
"Thank you, Miss Fluttershy"
The stranger gesticulates a goodbye as he goes to his place of destination, Fluttershy looks how he goes away and waves him goodbye,meanwhile, another pegasus,Rainbow Dash, arrives, standing on her hind legs and holding a large cup in each foreleg,Fluttershy takes a cup and asks her:
"What took you so long, Rainbow Dash?"
"Well, there was a long line of ponies before me, and when my turn came, I couldn't decide if I should get Oatshakes for both, or Hayshakes for both, so... I got an Oatshake and a Hayshake"
"Oh, so we can share?..."
"Of course! That's why I got one of each!"
"I thought it was because you couldn't decide"
"No,no,of course its not that!"
Both mares share a good hearty laugh, and then Rainbow Dash asks her with curiosity
"Who was that?"
"Who?"
"The one you waved goodbye to"
"Oh? Just someone who wanted to see Rarity..."
"Mhm How interesting, do you want to talk in a more comfortable place?"
"Of course I do!"
Inside Carousel Boutique, Rarity and Pinkie are still having a good time, but Rarity has saved the embroidery she was working on and is filling a progress bar, Pinkie observes Rarity as she writes something on the board
"I think Applejack would be fine with an tiny apple on a frame, Rarity, She really thanks you for being her friend, and Im super grateful too! and so are Twilight, Spike, Fluttershy, Celestia...EVERYPONY! You are a-may-zing!"
"Oh thank you Pinkie, darling... and of course I know a simple picture will suffice her, but I have to give her something marvelous, something fabulous, something that screams radiance, something that requires all my effort to give!" Rarity gesticulates dramatically while explaining Pinkie her motives
"Plus, AJ needs some interior decoration. don't cha think?"
Pinkie nods in agreement, Rarity continues filling the progress bar,and then places the marker on a table, and looks at a photo of her and Sweetie Belle, the latter is on a edutainment trip with Twilight Sparkle, and her friends Scootaloo and Applebloom, Rarity hopes she is having fun, she takes a deep breath and looks at Pinkie.
"Pinkie, would you please help me cleaning up this mess? I say its a disaster! " She points with her hoof at the things that were once stacked on her head, that are now messily scattered all around the floor, Pinkie says "Okie dokie Lokie!" and starts picking up things, she picks up a book, which is snatched by Rarity, Pinkie doesn't know why Rarity doesn't let Pinkie have a look at the book, but thinks its a very good one, because she can be seen giggling and blushing while reading it, maybe she is wants to finish the book first, so Pinkie goes back to picking up things and putting it in their respective places, she carries the pair of pants to the laundry basket, and as she is walking, she looks at the window; There is someone outside. a new visitor has come to Carousel Boutique, Rarity is looking at the window too, and nearly faints from the fright.
The visitor is a lenghty creature, whose long serpentine body is covered in greenish brown or brownish green scales, a white feline coat on his chest and light gray fluffy feathers all over his body, he has two big wings which are also covered with feathers, two arms with sharp claws, his long neck and head are tilting and the feathers on his head are covering his eyes,a dracalectryon, who keeps tilting his head, for a small moment, and heads to the door, knocking it slowly, then fast, he crosses his arms, waiting for someone (namely, Rarity) to open the door and looks at the place on the outside and admires it, judging by the smile on his beak, showing all the razor sharp teeth that its covered with.
Rarity looks frightened at the creature, she is hidden behind a box, peeking through a hole, a box is a safe place for her, Pinkie snatches away the box
"Why are you hiding? We are not playing hide and seek, silly...."
"Well, Pinkie, I am....a little bit scared"
"Of the stranger? Come on Rarity, you have faced dragons, the nightmare forces, you made the Diamond Dogs your ...very loyal allies, you fought against the giant mirror scorpion* in the Saddle Arabia desert, you fought the evil changelings and their nasty queen then why are you afraid now? come now! giggle at the - " She quickly interrupts herself for no reason.
"Its just, that its so...Aaaaah! what is that thing?! is it a cockatrice...a GIANT cockatrice?"
Pinkie rolls her eyes.
"Its not a thing, or a cockatrice, its a friendly visitor!"
Rarity is still unconvinced, she looks at Pinkie, then looks at the stranger, then Pinkie again.
"Friendly? Pinkie, dear ,how can that thing be friendly?"
"Rarity, look! he is smiling!"
"Well,I don't know, but I think that seems more like an <> smile"
"No, its not. Its a genuinely friendly smile,I know how evil smiles look and that smile, is not evil, silly!"
Rarity holds Pinkie's hoof and smiles "I believe you"
She opens the door, letting the dracalectryon in, Pinkie skips fast to greet him, and hug him "HELLO AND WELCOME TO CAROUSEL BOUTIQUE! I'm Pinkie Pie, and this is my friend Rarity, this is her pretty
place " She gasps a bit "Wow, you are even bigger than I thought!" the stranger shakes her hoof and smiles at her.
"Well, its a pleasure to meet you, miss Pinkie Pie,my name is Guang-Xiu ...wait a minute, did you say she was Rarity, as in the world famous Rarity, the one and only, the Spectacular Seamstress?"
"W-world famous? " Rarity is baffled, she isn't world famous, or Equestria famous, she isn't even Ponyville famous, so why did Guang-Xiu say that? she just smiles and blushes, and is way too overwhelmed to answer properly.
"Um... yes, that is quite me, Im Rarity from Ponyville..." she replies , laughing nervously Guang-Xiu smiles even more and shakes Rarity's hoof "Sorry for hiding in a box... I was scared and I've never seen someone so impressing like you! I thought you were a cockatrice! again,Im sorry and I mean no offense" Guang sighs a bit and frowns looking down,but then manages to smile and says "it's ok. none taken" he holds Rarity's hoof and continues talking
"You look more beautiful in person, I am a great admirer of your work, miss Fluttershy wasn't lying when she told me about you, you are really talented"
"Why thank you sir, I love making my friends fabulous! and you are here because?" Inquires the mare.
"Like I said,Miss Fluttershy brought me here" answers Guang-Xiu, preening his feathers with his claws, remembering the aforementioned mare's advice, he takes a deep breath "And I would like an elegant outfit, that isn't too formal, but still makes me shine,something that says <>,is that too much to ask?"
Rarity eyes lighten up, someone is asking for her work, for her talent, for what she obtained her cutiemark,to shine and rise above the skies, plus, she wasn't known as the element of generosity because it was a nice title, she had to earn that title, by giving and sharing, but she didn't this just 'cause, she had to give and share greatly, so she is really happy to hear someone wanting something from her, even if it is a dracalycteon, in fact she is thrilled, and excited, even though the request seems like a challenge, and it is indeed a challenge, but its one she is willing to beat.
"Too much is too little for me, for I am Rarity, and I will make you FABULOUS! no matter what it takes "
"And I, Pinkie Party Pie will help her!"
Rarity rushes to some room, before stopping abruptly "Guang, dear, could you please wait here with Pinkie? I need to use my measure tools on your figure "
"Of course, uh... Miss Rarity? " he handles Rarity his camera, and takes out the camera rolls inside "I have taken photos of the armor me and my peers use in training, and the aesthetic of my homeland, in case you need some inspiration for your work"
"Oh? Of course! I forgot to ask for a reference so thank you for giving me one "
As Rarity takes the photos and begins examining them to find some inspiration, placing the photos one by one on a table, and sketching the most important details, and discovers some interesting things from Guang-Xiu, for example the fact that he hails from the very militaristic Wyvern Kingdom, as evidenced from the photos of his peers which are, as you guessed, Wyverns, and the fact that he has Griffin Heritage as evidenced from a photo of a Silkie chicken Griffin who looks an awful lot like Guang, standing next to a female Wyvern, whom Guang Xiu inherited a lot from too, namely the yellow eyes with red schlera and the serpentine-ness, they look respectful with each other, but there is no love in their eyes, just respect, their marriage was a political arrangement between the griffins and the wyverns, after learning from Guang-Xiu's story she puts away the photos "Oh by Celestia's cutiemark, I am becoming like Twilight!" thinks the mare.
She begins examining the aesthetic of Guang-Xiu's homeland, its very sober and ascetic, orderly tall castles, lots of bridges and metal fences, covering the windows, the plants and trees are very few and seem to be put as an utility rather than a decoration, while the Wyvern kingdom is closer to Canterlot's aesthetic than the Dragon lands, is still serious and dull. Maybe that's why Guang came for her help, he does have a sense of style after all.
As for the armor it seems really elaborate, metal plate coat , with shoulder pieces and a segmented wing armor, the armor has elbow or knee caps depending on how they use their legs (as forelegs or legs), and brass knuckles, the helmet covers everything in the head except for the face, which is covered by a veil, the tails of the wyverns aren't covered by plates, but rather by chainmail, which allows for easier mobility,as for the weapons they are fond of either long range weaponry or sharp and pointy swords, the armory is scarlet and bronze,clearly designed for protection and mobility at the same time.
In the meantime Rarity is figuring what to do, Guang-Xiu is helping Pinkie Pie tidying up Carousel Boutique, they seem fond of each other, Pinkie tells Guang-Xiu about her experiences as a rock farmer, as a party planer, or as Pinkie Pie, she says being Pinkie Pie is the most complex job she has as Pinkie Pie, because in her words " being cheerful and positive is not easy as they say when there are ponies that look down on you, and say very bad things about who you are or what you do", Guang-Xiu nods understanding, he just wants to relax and groom himself and engage in his passion in professional photography, but his society wants him to be a warrior and fight every day, fighting is not his thing, but he will do it if asked to.
"Why don't you just say no?"
"Its not as easy as that, Pinkie, there's something expected from me, and I cannot disappoint my peers, I have an skill, and I have to use it"
"So what? I was supposed to be a rock farmer, but look at me now! I am one of the best known Party Planners in equestria"
"But you still had to fulfill your destiny, as Cutie Marks are an important part of your culture" Guang puts his claw on his cheek, looking over his shoulder and resting his arm over his other arm.
"Cutiemarks are just silly and mean no-thing if you don't know how to read them. Balloons are a fun and fundamental element in parties, true, but so are streamers,pointy hats, cakes" Pinkie counts with her hooves over and over
"and while my cutiemark tells me I'm a party planner, it does not tell anything about my baking skills, nor is the only thing that can be interpreted by my cutiemark, I could also be talented in making balloon animals, or have an amazing lung capacity, or I could fly!! or be a voice actress, like bon bon! " Pinkie stops to take air "seriously, she has a different voice everyday, why does she have candy as her cutiemark? why doesn't she have a mic, or herself as a cutiemark? I know of a pony who has herself as a cutiemark, she visited Rarity in Canterlot, how do you get a cutiemark that looks like you? did a wizard do it? can your cutiemark have it's own cutiemark? anyways, there's a lot of ways to interpret a cutiemark, in the end, it's not about destiny.It's about what you do with your destiny , if you follow or if you make your own"
"You are more profound than what the other ponies say, but it's hard for me, I am not smart enough to convince my parents I'm not the warrior they want,specially if their marriage was just an act of diplomacy between Griffins and Wyverns"
Pinkie sighs and looks at Guang-Xiu's face, she holds his hand and smiles, her smile is bright and beautiful,like a sunny morning in spring, her look is assuring and she irradiates an air of confidence and trust "I will personally go and convince your parents that you want to do other things" Guang just laughs
"Thank you Miss Pinkie Pie"
"Your feathers look like pom-poms!"
"Well your tail and your mane are like corkscrews,Miss Pinkie Pie!"
Both share a laugh, and both are interrupted by a loud slam of a door.
"STAND STILL" Rarity is holding measurement tools on her hooves, and Guang-Xiu, noticing Rarity stands with his tail, arms and wings extended, Pinkie freezes too, but it's obvious she is just playing along, Rarity commences to measure Guang-Xiu, while feeling the texture of his feathers,fur and scales, and writes the measurements in a small notebook, eventually she nods to herself and continues.
"I figured out what you need, now come with me and I'll make you SHINE!" Rarity makes a gesture to Guang-Xiu and Pinkie, aside from the measurement tools she is carrying a bag and an oversized pair of shades, Guang-Xiu looks confused, but Pinkie understands Rarity means business, and nods in agreement,Rarity hands over the camera rolls to Guang, and stands proud and tall, pointing at the door and posing dramatically, like a stand user from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Author's annotation: I ran out of comparisons).
"But first things first, I cannot let you be fabulous, without taking proper care of your body, scales and feathers, TO THE PONYVILLE DAY SPA!!!"
The two ponies and the dracalycteon rush to the spa, only to find a long line of ponies waiting for something, apparently, it's a big thing since the ponies look positively excited to be there, and they are talking over each other, maybe as an strange coincidence, conveniently placed there, Rarity has no time for waiting, she has a lot of work to do, on the other hand, Pinkie and Guang-Xiu are curious about whats going on, Pinkie approaches a pink pony with a blonde mane and tail and a flower on her mane, Guang follows Rarity to the market, she will find the materials she needs for a homemade Spa session, Pinkie decides to have a little conversation first.
"Heeeeeeeey Lily!!!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAA THE HORROR THE HORROR Oh, hey Pinkie" Replies the mare,after being startled by Pinkie "How do you do?"
Pinkie thinks that Lily would just scream continously if she saw Guang-Xiu, poor mare seems to be scared by a lot of things.
"Oh, Im doing very well thanks! I will have the snacks for Roseluck's birthday party by next week"
"Great. Thanks!"
Suddenly, Pinka realises she should be with Rarity and Guang-Xiu.
"Uhhh,Lily? Sorry to interrupt us, but..why are you all here?"
"Oh,Princess Celestia decided to pay a visit here, and we are looking forward to relax with her and take photos"
"Well Thats Really Interesting, ButnowIgottagoandhelpRaritywithherthingsBye!!"
Pinkie Pronks away while Lily goes back to her business.
In the meantime, Guang-Xiu and Rarity are bringing things that could make a great spa day session , aromatic candles, special soaps, essential oils,salts, herbs, and the like, and fabric, lots and lots of fabric. Rarity is carrying some supplies in a saddlebag, while Guang helps carry the others in his arms, it seems like an awful lot of supplies.
"Miss Rarity,do you think this is too much? Aren't you going to be tired because of my size and lenght? "
"Absolutely not, my dear, I've worked with lenghty ones before Steve Magnet the Sea Serpent is one of my clients" Rarity leans on something "and Discord appeared on my bathtub while I was having a beauty session"
Guang just giggles, and tilts his head "Must have been really awkward"
Rarity leans on something "Oh,darling, You have NO idea"
As the conversation progresses, both Guang and Rarity arrive at Carousel Boutique, Pinkie arrives later, Rarity rushes to some room, and comes back with her mane tied up and a scrunchie ,which she uses to tie Pinkie's mane up.
"Now,will you two follow me?" Guang and Pinkie nod in unison.
"Okay, first of all, Guang,we need to do something with your fur, is so ...how do I put this nicely.. stringy, which kind of shampoo do YOU use?"
"Uh...I don't? Wyvern's dont use shampoo, what the hay" replies an offended and confused Guang-Xiu .
"But Griffins do-Argh! forget it! If Im going to make you radiant,I'll do it no matter the cost!"
"Well I think his fur is really nice" adds Pinka, rubbing her head in his chest, which makes him giggle a little bit "oh, you" he mutters.
Rarity heads for the backyard, taking the shampoo bottle, and a small bottle of Rose essential oil followed by Pinkie and Guang-Xiu, inmediately, Rarity takes a big bucket and fills it with water drops a bit of essential oil on the water, which makes it smell like a princess palace, an old fairytale princess palace,places a blanket on the ground, and orders Guang-Xiu to lie in the blanket, he lies coiled and waits for Rarity to proceed with her almost self impossed challenge, Rarity tells Pinkie Pie to bring a sponge from the bathroom, which she does almost inmediately, Rarity squeezes the shampoo bottle on the sponge, and then puts the sponge on the water, and squeezes it, making foam, then she starts scrubbing the sponge on Guang's chest, Rarity gives orders to Pinkie Party Pie again, and she follows, bringing a hoof/claw clipper, transparent polish and a hoof/claw file with herself.
"This is a real time saver, shampoo and conditioner in one, it will make your fur glimmer and it will make it softer and fluffier,I use it in Opalescence and her fur is now like a cloud" she mentions, ignoring the fact that clouds are a bizarre yet heavenly fusion between liquid water, ice and steam, but the metaphor works just as well , the aforementioned cat is fast asleep in Sweetie Belle's bed, actively ignoring the events surrounding her "Besides, it smells like roses now, and this parfum is simply divine and smells so pleasantly ".
"I appreciate your help Miss Rarity, but I think I can use the sponge on myself, by myself..."
"Oh, I know, but you are going to get your claws trimmed too, so would you please extend your arms to pinkie?"
Pinkie begins trimming Guang's claws, holding one with both hooves, and using the clipper with her mouth, her movements are like waves, making a soft zigzag with her head, her ponytail moves along with her movements, Guang can't help but follow her head movements too, then Pinkie starts following HIS movements and then he starts following hers, until Rarity using just a glare tells them to cut it out.
"Alright,alright geez! we are just having fun!" Pinkie says, dropping the clipper on the ground , but she picks it up back again, and continues clipping Guang's other claws, once is finished his claws are no longer sharp and long, but shorter and more elegant, Rarity hands Guang-xiu the sponge and gives him a request.
"Im going to search a towel, and a hairdryer,Guang, dear,wash your wings and head, this shampoo works on feathers too, and please, extend your body, it's hard to use the sponge in your coiled body!"
"Huh, well if you dont mind, I could start cleaning my scales too,I can use a feather to clean the dust away "
"Don't worry about that! I can help you using my tail!" Pinkie makes swish-swish sounds while swinging her tail around.
"Alright, Miss Pinkie Pie, I accept your help" Guang replies giggling and placing his claw on his cheek adoringly, Pinkie Pie is so fun and perky, would it be a wild idea to ask for her friendship? he wonders, he would ask her, but just closes his eyes tightly, and takes a silent gulp, he still has his insecurities lurking inside him, he just sighs and proceeds to wash his wings while Pinkie cleans his scales, at some times, his covered eyes and her uncovered eyes meet, and he just cannot help but squee with delight internally, why does she have heaven in her eyes? or is it the sea? either way they are just precious, and he just can't get enough of their beauty.
When Rarity comes back she is holding not one,not two, but three hairdryers, one between her legs, one in her mouth and one with magic, why does she have more than one hairdryers? for mane emergencies, of course!
And because they are for mane emergencies, they can work unplugged, how? science,magic,believing,love,friendship, plot convenience,the overwhelming power of fashion, doesn't matter, it just works, and that's all that matters, she also has a pair of towels on her back, Pinkie takes the towels and throws them at Guang-Xiu, he catches them and proceeds to dry himself with the towels, while Pinka and Rarity use the hairdryers, it just makes the work faster, after they finish, not only Guang-Xiu's head feathers look like a pom-pom, his whole body looks like a pom-pom, a long, fluffy pom-pom, Pinkie and Rarity can't stop laughing, and an annoyed Guang-Xiu just preens his feathers .
The ponies and the dracalycteon go inside Carousel Boutique, Rarity picks up her notebook and stomps her hoof on the floor, calmly yet firmly
"Pinkie, darling, can you give our guest a Spa day while I sew his new outfit?"
"Uh....sure! Okie Dokie Lokie~~" Replies a not really sure Pinkie .
Back in her room Rarity starts checking the sketches she made, she contemplates them once, then contemplates them again, makes some corrections, and starts sewing "The coat must be fitted, but not too fitted, that would be a disaster, ugh,but there must be a space for his wings too,hmmm well I think this would be a nice addition, that too " she ponders.
Pinkie cracks her fetlocks and makes a little workout routine before starting with the SPA session, Guang is just playing with his feathers waiting for Pinkie.
"Alright long-boy, get ready for a massage " Guang lays down with his head on his arms, and Pinkie stands on his back, trotting, galloping,and then using her hooves for actual massaging, Guang starts contemplating life again, it was just yesterday when he was training new techniques with his rapiers, namely for cutting wings and pining them against walls, but now? he was getting a massage from a very nice pony, the third nice pony he met, and the nicest one of the bunch, welcoming him with openness and a warm smile, he just sighs and Pinkie stops for a moment, then she puts the aromatic candles and inciense " Heh, I forgot to put those on, it's easier to relax when the ambient smells like desserts, at least for me, it reminds me of my home in sugarcube corner" she continues massaging Guang-Xiu and looks at him " You seem bored, want me to tell you a story?" "Yes please, miss Pinkie Pie"
"When I was a little filly, and we couldn't go outside, my sister Maud used to tell me all sorts of stories, they seemed very similar because they were about rocks, they were all about rocks, and I don't remember them really much, but there's one I remember fondly, it was about a rock pony who couldn't shine like their siblings until they started their adventure and decided to do what they liked the most, and they started to glow like a rainbow, when Maud told me about that story I was like 'Whoaaaaa' and she was like 'yeah' and I was like 'Really???' and she was like 'yeah' and I was like 'THAT'S A-MAYZING!!' and she was like 'I know' and everything went super awesome because I needed that story after feeling insecure about leaving my family to work in sugarcube corner, I never thought my family would be super supportive of my dreams, but they were, and Im thankful for that, I don't know why I am telling you this,I just felt it was nice to share it"
"I understand. Doing what makes you happy is an important thing, and I would love to know more about your sister Maud, she sounds like she is really pleasant"
"Oh, she rocks! " Pinkie laughs at her own joke "Rocks" she repeats to herself, she might have told herself that joke countless of times, but it still makes her chuckle.
"Miss Pinkie Pie?"
"Yes,Guang?"
"Do you ever get lonely?"
"hm?"
"I mean, do you ever feel like you are alone and ostracized, and like you don't belong anywhere, but you want to find your place in the world, and not be left behind?"
"Meh...maybe sometimes. But whenever that happens, I remember that I am me and there are a lot of ponies out there who'll like me just the way I am. I don't have to completely change myself just 'cause somepony says so. That's their problem, not mine. True friends will like you for who you are"
Guang smiles, and removes a tear from his eyes, he is grateful to have met Pinkie, but he is also grateful for meeting Fluttershy, who told him the directions to meet Rarity, who he wanted to meet, friendship is surely a wonderful thing.
"Are you a friend of Miss Fluttershy ,Miss Pinkie Pie?"
"Oh, yes! Fluttershy is a very good friend of mine, she might be super shy but she is also super brave! she has the stare, and a very beautiful voice! "
"I know, she is very graceful, and she is lucky to have a friend like you, am I lucky enough to be your friend?"
Pinkie chuckles a bit before stating "Of course you are my friend, you silly! why wouldn't we be friends?"
Guang stands up,knocking Pinkie Pie down, who makes a squeaky sound, gets back up and shakes her body, and twirls his fingers timidly
"Well, b-because Im scary looking, and...and I don't look friendly at all?"
"Nonsense, you look like you are shaped like a friend!" replies Pinkie, looking at Guang's face and giving him a warm, kindhearted smile.
"Do you really think so? I look like a cockatrice... many ponies have said so..."
"Look, I used to be super prejudiced, and super unaccepting, but then I learned not to judge a book by it's cover. Do you want me to give you a hooficure- I mean clawicure? "
"I sure do"
Rarity is looking at her work, it's almost finished and she admires the result, which is gorgeous mature and elegant,it consists of a ruffled shirt, a little more adjusted on the waist, a velvet buttoned vest, dark red with gold buttons and details, a golden and red cape,with enough space for the wings, and long fingerless gloves, she just needs to give the outfit a few touches before it's finished, her mane is messy her eyes are sleepy, but she is still very determined to finish it, eventually, she finishes the last details, yawns a bit and goes outside.
"I-I finished your outfit , darling, hmmm would you look at those eyesss, it's like lookin at the sun" Rarity has been up since the morning and she hasn't stopped working, whether in Applejack's gift, or Guang-Xiu's suit , and now she is looking at him, he has his feather's slicked back, and his eyes are fully visible, with their crimson sclera and golden irises, they are magical, or at least they look magical, so magical, so beautiful, so strange... Rarity hands Guang-Xiu his costume and he puts it on, it really combines with his eyes, and he looks more dignified with his eyes exposed, Rarity is truly satisfied with her work, Guang-Xiu is absolutely satisfied with his outfit, and Pinkie is definitively satisfied with her day, the three of them share a close hug, and Guang-Xiu bids Rarity and Pinka goodbye
"Goodbye Miss Rarity, I am entirely grateful for your dedication to your work. Goodbye Miss Pinkie...I mean,Pinkie, Im glad to be your friend"
"Darling,you have an excellent taste,I must say and dare I say, you have quite the talent with photography! Right now I'm thinking of making a fashion magazine and I would love to hire you as one of my photographers " Rarity gives Guang his camera back "That being said, Good bye, it was certainly a pleasure to meet you"
"I'm glad to be your friend too!" Says pinkie, smiling widely, As Guang-Xiu is leaving she adds " I WILL VISIT YOU!!"
"I will receive you with open arms!" he replies, and waves them goodbye.
As Pinkie waves goodbye Rarity lays down on the floor and falls immediately asleep, Pinkie decides not to wake her up, because even she still has a lot of work to do, she still needs rest.
