The ultimate surprise
Souls entwined 2
Previous ChapterNext ChapterDillan sighed as he glanced around at the nine mares and one stallion he had spent the entire night pleasing as he looked between each of their extended stomachs that all had the symbol of the ultimatrix over them.
Even Cadence had an Ultimatrix symbol sitting snuggly next to the cutie mark of her husband, as the stallion rubbed her stomach with a smile.
"I still can't believe how insatiable you four are." Dillan said to the Alicorns. "You four took each pony form's ultimate form and my dragon form…" he sighed, shaking his head as the four giggled softly and smiled. "Are you sure you're ok with… Two babies?" He asked Cadence and Shining armor who nodded.
“I am sure Flurry will enjoy having siblings.” Cadence siad with a chuckle.
“I just hope they aren’t alicorns too.” Shining said with a small whine.
Dillan chuckled. "Well, seeing as none of us knew that could happen. I'll be happy to help."
Rainbow giggled as she leaned on him. "Ya better help all of us." Applejack said with a small smirk.
"Of course I would!" Dillan said with a frown and crossing his arms.
“Relax darling, we are just teasing our stud.” Rarity teased.
Dillan blushed a bit and looked away as Pinkie suddenly sat on his lap with a smile and giggle. "She's right, you're amazing!" She said, kissing his chin.
"It's amazing that the watch allowed you to satisfy us all." Twilight said with a light blush.
"W-well um, that was probably because of the Heat season. The ultimatrix kind of um… well it can force me to comply with different species seasons. The original owner of the ultimatrix was forced to become multiple species multiple times. One was to have its species babies, the other was for it to go through puberty." Dillan explained.
“I don’t have to worry about you getting the whole town pregnant, do I?” Rainbow asked with a bit of worry in her voice.
"No, my equestrian forms are calm now. Thanks to all of you." Dillan said with a smile, kissing Rainbow dash.
Rainbow smiled and kissed back. “Good.”
"You seem to be feeling better." Celestia said with a smile, nuzzling Dillan's neck and making him shiver.
"Y-yeah… um how about we finish the story?" Dillan asked with a blush.
“Story?” Most of the mares asked.
Dillan blinked a bit before smirking. "Yeah, the story of me and rainbow dash when we met remember?"
“Ooooh.” They all said, even the guard mares.
Dillan looked at the guard mares and smirked a bit. "Good thing you all wanted to try the dragon form, I don't think I could handle any more foals."
The guard mares blushed and looked away as Dillan looked back at everyone. "Um… shouldn't we get the crusaders and Spike? I don't think they'd want to miss the rest of the story."
Celestia lit her horn and cleaned the map room, removing all the smells. “There, now it's safe for them.”
"Aww, it smelled so good though!" Pinkie said, making Dillan and Twilight shake their heads as the mare teleported the kids back in.
"What gives?! You suddenly teleport us away to the clubhouse and lock us in all night before suddenly teleporting us back!" Scootaloo asked angrily.
“Well dear we uh…” Rarity started to say before Pinkie spoke up.
“We all had a super fun adult party!”
The kids all blinked before sticking out their tongues. "Ew seriously? If you guys needed to take care of your Heat you could have said something." Spike said.
All the mares blushed and moved their legs and the foals saw the omnitrix logo on most of their bellies. "Wow, Dillan got all of you pregnant?" Sweetie Belle asked in shock before gasping. "Wait doesn't that mean you'll all be related? And I'll be an aunt!" She asked excitedly.
They blushed more and Rarity giggled nervously. “Well…um… in a way, yes.”
"Sweet!" Scootaloo said with a grin. "So are you all a herd now or was it just for fun?"
The mares and Stallion looked between each other as Dillan blushed a bit, before he looked between all the kids. "how old are all of you to understand all this?"
“Old enough, not answer the question.” Scootaloo said with a chuckle.
Dillan shook his head. "U-um anyway, how about we finish the story?"
The fillies pouted as they all sat down as Spike sat next to Twilight and glanced at her belly. “Yes, please.”
Dillan smiled a bit as Rainbow leaned on him. "Ok, so… Rainbow ended up getting caught…"
Dillan smiled softly as he woke up one morning, yawning and stretching as he noticed Rainbow dash laying on his stomach. "Morning." He chuckled.
Rainbow opened her eyes and smiled. “Morning.”
"Good morning you two love birds." Dillan's mom, Linda said with a smile. "You two must have been tired, you both fell asleep during toy story three."
Dillan chuckled softly, as he turned to look at his mom as the smell of their Christmas tree flooded his nostrils. "It was cozy."
“You are cozy.” Rainbow said with a giggle.
Linda giggled softly. "Alright, come on. Let's make breakfast."
"Waffles!" The two said together, before looking at each other with a blush.
“Wow, geez.” Dillan’s sister said with a shake of her head. “You two are getting too lovey dovey.”
Dillan stuck his tongue out at his sister as Rainbow giggled softly. "I guess that's why they work together, they're a lot alike." His brother said with a smirk as he came downstairs.
Rainbow got up and kissed Dillan’s cheek before running down stairs. “Last one there is a rotten egg!”
"Hey!" Dillan yelled, chasing after her with a laugh as His mother shook her head smiling.
"Ah young love." She said as they all went to the kitchen.
Rainbow was dancing. “I won I won I won!” She sang as she poked Dillan. “You lost you lost you lost.”
Dillan rolled his eyes with a smirk, shaking his head. "You used your wings, that's cheating."
“Is not.” Rainbow said and then both of them started playfully arguing if using wings was cheating.
“Wow, they even argue like a married couple.” Dillan’s dad said from behind his newspaper.
Linda giggled more as she went over to the stove, before Dillan sat down in a chair with Rainbow on his lap. "Is not." She quickly said to Dillan, before eating an apple.
"Yeah, yeah." He said, rolling his eyes as his brother laughed.
"As soon as you two are old enough you're gonna end up married if you keep this up!" He said.
Rainbow blushed and fidgested on Dillan’s lap. “That isn’t a bad thing…is it?”
Dillan and his family looked at her as Dillan's face slowly turned red. "U-um, of course not…" Dillan said, smiling softly, before frowning a little. "If we're still together."
Rainbow poked Dillan’s chest. “Of course we will be together, I am sure once Celestia finds me she will find a way for you to come and visit me whenever you want.”
"She'd do that? Or a single subject? Plus we don't know what will happen if our worlds weren't meant to be connected." Dillan said with a sad frown as his family looked at him.
“If I tell her about you I am sure she will help us.” Rainbow said and nuzzled him.
Dillan blushed with a smile, as his mom set two plates of waffles in front of them. "If you say so…"
“Eat up you two.” His mother said with a smile.
Rainbow took a bite before her wings fluttered. “Do you think we could find a spot for me to fly for a bit?”
Dillan laughed as her wings tickled him. "W-we can go to the park at school, since it's winter break no one will be there. And there's a spot where the camera's don't see."
“Really?” Rainbow asked with a grin.
"Are you sure about that son?" His father asked. "What if someone sees her?"
Dillan frowned a bit before grinning. "How about the forest then? The one down the road."
“Well…I guess but you have to take your brother to keep an eye on you both.” His mother said.
"Ok mom." The two boys said together.
“Yay!” Rainbow cheered, her flank rubbing Dillan’s lap.
Dillan gulped a bit as Rainbow felt his member as he swallowed his food hard. "S-so um when do you want to go?"
Rainbow blushed lightly and fidgested and looked back at him. “Whenever you want.”
Dillan nodded a bit as he continued eating. "You both need to take a shower before you go, you're still stinky from being outside yesterday." His father said.
Rainbow smiled playfully. “I wouldn't mind a shower.”
Dillan blushed deeper as he nodded a little. "A-alright…"
“Oh no you don’t, you won’t share the shower.” His father said.
Linda set a hand on his shoulder. "Honey, it's been a month. I know you're worried but I think they've proven to be trustworthy."
He sighed and rubbed his face. “Ok, fine.”
Rainbow and Dillan stared at his mom in shock. "R-really mom?"
"Of course, I trust the both of you." She said with a smile.
“Yay!” Rainbow cheered.
“Aww.”
Dillan smiled as he hugged her. "Thank you mom."
"Of course." She said, hugging him back before whispering in his ear. "There's a condom in the cabinet."
"Moooooom!" He yelled, blushing deep red.
“What did she say?” Rainbow asked with a small smirk.
"Nothing!" He said before rushing upstairs.
Rainbow giggled and got up to follow him. “Bye.” She said to his family as she headed upstairs.
Dillan's brother and sister laughed at their brother's embarrassment from downstairs as Dillan grabbed some clothes. Rainbow rubbed herself against Dillan. “I heard what she said, and if that's what I think it is you can bring it if you want.”
Dillan blushed deeply. "N-no! W-well… unless you want to but we're not ready for that."
Rainbow giggled and hip bumped him. “You don’t have to put it inside me, I can use my hooves or mouth.”
"Oh, good I was worried you'd give in." Dillan's mom said from the doorway with a giggle.
"Mom!" He yelled with a blush.
"O-oh my…"
"After what you did when we were satisfying each other with Dillan you have no right to be shy anymore."
“You mean it was a test?” Rainbow asked with a blush.
Linda nodded. "Of course, my son is too young for that. Touching and mouth are fine and you're experimenting, that's fine with me."
Rainbow blushed and lowered her head. “Ok ma’am.”
"Are you ok?" Dillan asked her, kneeling down and rubbing her head.
“Yeah, just a bit embarrassed.” She said shyly.
Linda giggled and smiled. "No need to be embarrassed dear, all teenagers go through this. And I trust you, take care of my boy ok?"
Rainbow nodded and slowly smiled. “Ok ma’am.”
Dillan blushed as he slowly walked into the bathroom with Rainbow Dash. "Thank you mom…" Dillan smiled softly.
"Your mother sounds like a sweet lady."
"Yeah… she was…"
“Anyway, we showered and eventually we got out and headed for the forest.”
"Ah bet it was steamy."
Dillan smiled a bit as he walked to the forest with Rainbow dash in his arms like a stuffed animal, and his brother beside him. " You sure you don't want your bookbag? I mean people are gonna think you're girly carrying her around while she's like that."
"I don't care, I want her to get fresh air. And she doesn't deserve to be in my bookbag all the time." Dillan said, setting Rainbow in his coat and zipping it up.
“I guess so but still.” His brother said.
"Sebastian, it's ok. I don't care what others think." Dillan said with a small smile.
He shook his head and chuckled. “Maybe that's why you have a girlfriend and I don’t, you don’t care what others think.”
Dillan chuckled a bit as a boy from his school ran up to them and smirked. "Well if it isn't Dillan."
"Hey Tyler what do you want?" Dillan asked with an annoyed glare.
“Oh nothing much, I was just passing by when I saw you with that stupid girl toy, is it a gift for your sister or something stupid?” He asked with a dark grin.
Rainbow's wings fluttered a bit inside of Dillan's coat, as she grew angrier at the boy Tyler who has been bullying Dillan from what she heard.
"Something like that, why? Want one for your collection?" Dillan asked sarcastically. "I bet you'd like an all pink one."
“Nah, I just thought it had to be either for your sister or you, a sissy like you would get something girly like that.” Tyler said before trying to take Rainbow from Dillan. “How about I give it a bath in the pond!”
Dillan pulled back away from him, glaring at him. "And a bastard like you should know if you do take her I'll call the cops for theft."
“Like the cops would care if I trashed your girly toy!” Tyler said as he kept trying to take Rainbow.
Sebastian grabbed Tyler's shoulder and threw him to the ground on his butt. "Leave my brother alone or I'll beat the shit out of you."
“Back off! You are way older than us, stay out of it.” Tyler shouted before throwing a rock, the rock missed Sebastian but hit Rainbow's head.
"Ow!" Rainbow said instinctively reaching up to her head. Dillan's and Sebastian's eyes widened in fear as Tyler stared at Rainbow dash.
“What the hell!?” Tyler backed up. “Did that toy just talk!?”
"It's um…" Sebastian started to say, before pausing.
"Mechanical!" Dillan quickly said, as Rainbow dash blinked and looked up. "My dad got it for my sister's birthday, it's the only one like it!"
"I am the Rainbow tron six thousand, I fly, talk, and will bite your ear off if you're mean." She said as she glared at Tyler. "So play nice."
“Aaahhhh!” Tyler screamed and ran away.
Dillan and Sebastian laughed as Tyler ran away, a trail of pee following him. "Serves him right!" Sebastian said.
“Ew, did he really soil himself?”
"Yup, Tyler was a scardy cat. He only picked on me to hide how he really was."
“Sounds like a no good varmint.”
"He actually became my best friend in highschool."
Present day.
The mares around the table, the guards, Spike, And shining armor stared at him in shock and disbelief before the first of the female guards stepped up having a light gray mane with a beautiful silvery coat that peaked out under her golden armor. "Forgive me sir, but how could you befriend your bully?"
Dillan turned around and smiled at her a bit, making her blush as Luna spoke up. "Silver lining is right, how were you able to befriend him? It takes a lot to be able to do something like that."
"Because, like Silver Lining's, cutie mark of light and dark clouds with a silver lining between them. Not everything was as it seemed." Dillan said with a smile grin.
“What do you mean?” Spike asked but the fillies of the group looked at each other.
Dillan sighed a bit. "Well, we skipped over this part of the story. But one time when I snuck Rainbow Dash to one of my self defense classes, Tyler was in it as well. I met his dad and he was way worse. I found out later that Tyler had been beaten for years and one time when his dad tried to hit him and demean him in public I stepped in and chewd him out."
“Sounds kinda like Diamond’s mother but worse.” Applebloom said with a frown.
"That's why I said you'd all better check to make sure she isn't depressed or something else." Dillan said with a small smile. "But a friend can do a world of good."
The fillies looked at each other and smiled a bit. “So you got to fly around after that right?” Scootaloo asked Rainbow.
Rainbow smirked and nodded. "Sure did, Dillan did too."
"He did? I thought this was before he got his Ultimatrix." Rarity said, tossing her hair to one side.
"It was. There's a reason she calls me Monkey boy. I loved to swing not just on the monkey bars, but the vines around the woods too… I got a lot of poison ivy as a kid." Dillan said with a laugh.
Everyone laughed a bit before Spike asked. “So what happened next?”
"Well…" Dillan said thinking for a moment.
Dillan and Rainbow sat on the couch in his family's living room after swinging and flying all day around the woods, before a news report came on tv. "Reports say that the double rainbow that was reported in Caledonia redwood forest a month ago has been confirmed to be connected to something not natural to our world."
Rainbow looked at Dillan with a worried expression as her ears folded back. “Did I do that?”
"I think so, but since we live so far away from California it should be ok." Dillan said with a smile, gently rubbing her head.
“But what if the princess comes through there? She won’t be able to find me.” Rainbow said with a sigh.
Dillan frowned a little, while rubbing her head more. "Don't worry, if she does something like that will definitely be on the News so we'll know."
“I hope so.” Rainbow said as she watched the tv.
“I was indeed looking for you Rainbow, but finding a single pony is nearly impossible.”
"I understand, Dillan made me feel safe either way so it's all good."
"Are you ok?" Dillan asked her, rubbing her head.
“Just…missing my family and friends.” She said before smiling weakly. “You would have gotten along with Gilda.”
"Oh, man after watching the show. I know Gilda is a griffin and that would have been so awesome to meet her!"
“Maybe but she changed and became a jerk.”
"Ok I'm sorry to keep pausing but I need to talk about this."
Present day
Dillan sat forward and covered his eyes, as he sighed a bit. "Skittles, we're going to griffon stone after this."
“What? Why would we go there?” Rainbow asked with a frown.
"For you to apologize to Guilda, and for her to apologize to you." Dillan said, looking at her. "Same to you Pinkie."
“What!?” Both of them shouted.
“Why would I apologize to that big meanie pants!?” Pinkie yelled.
Dillan turned her around by force as he glared at her slightly. "Pinkie, Rainbow dash and Guilda hadn't seen each other in years. And she was only able to be here for a few. short. Days. You kept interrupting everything they tried to do together when Guilda just wanted to hang out with one if not her only friend since griffins don't typically do friendship." He said before looking at Rainbow dash. "And you kept pranking her all over the place, while she didn't know it was you and you didn't know what was going on with Pinkie pie. Did you not stop to think what was going through her mind? From her perspective she came here for only a few days to see you. Trying to hang out with you, spending time with you and catching up with you. Then all of a sudden some random pony she didn't know kept interrupting and messing it up and she got pranked multiple times while that same pony was laughing her flank off. I'd say her anger and annoyance was justified."
Rainbow and Pinkie lowered their heads in shame. “Oh geez…I guess when you put it that way…”
"Don't get me wrong, the way she handled it wasn't right either, but you also need to take into account cultural differences." Dillan said with a small smile, before the cutie map activated revealing Pinkie's, and Rainbow's cutie marks appearing over griffon stone, along with Dillan's Ultimatrix symbol.
“Whoa!” All the foals said.
“My word.” Rarity said.
“Intriguing.” Luna said as she looked the map over.
“It seems you three have a friendship mission.” Celestia said with a giggle.
"Yeah, to griffon stone." Dillan said with a grin, as Twilight's eyes twitched. "What a coincidence."
Twilight sighed and laid her head on the map and stared at the hologram of griffon stone. “I wish I could go…”
Dillan looked over at Twilight, before smiling softly. "How about you come with us anyway?"
“No no, if the map wanted me to go it would have shown my cutie mark.” Twilight said while shaking her head.
Dillan frowned a bit as he looked at the table. "Alright… I'll take pictures for you." He said with a smile, showing his phone.
Twilight lifted her head. “Really!?”
Rainbow leaned over and whispered. “She could have just came after we finished the mission.”
"Yeah, but a picture lasts forever." Dillan said with a small grin. "So if I take pictures or videos of everything she can constantly watch or study them-" he started to say before Twilight tackle hugged him.
“Thank you thank you thank you!” She said with a happy giggle.
Dillan chuckled softly and wrapped his arms around her back, with a grin. "What are… are we all mates?"
All the mares blushed bright red. “I um…” Twilight said.
“Sorry Dillan but I am taken, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun now and then.” Cadence said as she cuddled Shining.
"Not you." Dillan said with a grin. "I'm not gonna steal someone's girl, but like… the rest of us?" He asked with a blush.
Celestia smiled and sipped on her tea. “Well it has been a few hundred years since I had a partner, and longer than that since me and my sister have shared a partner.”
“Sister, really.” Luna rolled her eyes. “We would be fine with joining your herd if thou would accept us miss Dash, as head mare you have final say.”
“Um…I enjoyed what we did but um…” Fluttershy said with a blush, unable to finish.
“Ah don’t know partner, Ah haven’t thought about it…” Applejack said.
Twilight figured with a blush, looking like she was considering the offer as Rarity grinned along with pinkie pie. "We wouldn't mind darling, if rainbow will let us."
Dillan blushed deeply as he glanced at Rainbow dash for confirmation. "Up to you Skittles, I'll be ok with whatever you choose."
Rainbow dash tapped her chin in thought for a bit, smiling softly at everyone. "Whoever wants to be in our herd is welcome too, just… give me some time with Dillan alone for now since we just got back together."
“Okey-dokey loki!” Pinkie said with a smile.
“Of course darling.” Rarity said with a smile.
“We wouldn't think of getting between the head mare and our stallion.” Celestia said with a giggle and Luna nodded her head.
"What's with the head mare thing? Is it because she was the first one or?" Dillan asked with a raised eyebrow.
Twilight sat up going into lecture mode. “A head mare is usually the first one in a relationship with the stallion when forming a herd, however if a mare feels she could do a better job of taking care of the herd she could challenge the head mare. The stallion usually doesn’t get between the mares when they argue but they have equal status as the head mare.”
"Wait, so someone can take away the head mare status?" Dillan asked.
“Yes, if the challenger beats the head mare.” Twilight nodded. “Though over the years rules for the challenge were added to insure a fair fight.”
Dillan hummed a bit. "Alright then."
“I mean can you imagine how easy a fight between an earth pony and an alicorn would be if the alicorn could use her magic?” Twilight said.
“It was just one time.” Luna muttered.
"Wait, you did that?" Dillan asked Luna, while holding Pinkie and Twilight on his lap now. 4
Luna nodded and looked down. “We were in a relationship many years before our fall and the lead mare was…she was not right for the stallion we loved. She would yell at him and we were too busy with dealing with the griffons to defend him. Once we returned home we fought for him.”
"Aww, how adorable." Dillan said with a grin making Luna blush.
Celestia chuckled. “She basically held the poor mare down and knocked a few teeth loose.”
"Damn, I'm saying it now if any of you get into a fight for whatever reason. I'm stepping in." Dillan said with a shake of his head.
“It is within your rights but the issue will have to be addressed.” Twilight said with a small smile.
“Not like anypony could beat me in a fair fight.” Rainbow said with a smirk.
Dillan grinned at her, as a few othersothers seemed to realize what he was doing. "Oh so you're saying you're stronger than Celestia?"
Rainbow’s eyes widened as she looked at Celestia with a sheepish smile. “I mean…if the fight was fair…and I got lucky…and…she took pity on me.”
Celestia giggled softly. "Do not worry Miss Dash, you probably would beat me. I am good with magic, but Luna is the more physical of the two of us."
"Can we get back to the story?" Spike asked, leaning back while staring at Dillan holding Twilight on his lap.
“Y-yeah, probably a good idea.” Rainbow said with a sigh. “About two months later we were back at the park…”
Dillan and Rainbow dash laughed as they rolled along the ground together, landing as Rainbow dash was on top of him smiling down. "Hey." She said with a giggle.
"Hey yourself." Dillan said with a smile, sitting up with her in his arms. "So what should we do now?"
“Well, I was thinking, how would you like to see things from my point of view? I should be strong enough to carry you.” Rainbow said with a smile.
Dillan hummed a bit, looking around before smiling. "Alright, I trust you."
She smiled and got on the ground, kneeling down a bit. “Ok, hop on.”
Dillan laughed a bit, as he slowly laid on her back. "Why are you kneeling? I'm a lot taller than you."
“Just making sure you don’t trip.” Rainbow said before standing up and then she started flapping her wings.
"Are you sure you'll be ok?" Dillan asked her worriedly.
“Yeah of course!” Rainbow said with a smile as she started flying.
"W-whoa!" Dillan said, hugging her as he glanced down. "I-is it too late to say I'm afraid of heights?"
Rainbow laughed as she flew lower to the ground. “Ok scaredy cat.”
"I am not a scaredy cat!" Dillan said angrily.
“Are you sure?” Rainbow said with a smirk as she flew around some trees.
"Yes! I swing around on the vines, remember? I just… humans aren't meant to fly without an airplane!" He said, before looking around and down. "Whoa…"
“Let’s go higher then.” Rainbow said with a giggle and flew higher.
Dillan gulped and held into her tighter, looking around more as they passed through some clouds. "Whoa! Chilly!"
Rainbow giggled as she landed on the cloud though she was slowly sinking through it. “This is how pegasi live.”
"Um… Skittles? You're sinking through the cloud." Dillan said, looking at her hooves.
“Huh?” She looked down and frowned. “Strange.” She flapped her wings and lifted off the cloud.
"Skittles, you need to remember you're not home. Things are different here." Dillan said with a soft laugh, before kissing her head. "this is amazing, I never thought I'd end up flying around like this."
“Yeah, let’s get you back to the ground.” She started to dive.
"Whoa!" Dillan yelled as they got to the ground before Rainbow did a flip and landed. "Oh… my stomach…"
“Whoa, don’t throw up on me!” Rainbow said, resetting the urge to buck him off.
Dillan got off of her and held his stomach. "Oh I shouldn't have eaten lunch before coming here…"
Rainbow chuckled and smirked. “I did say eat light.”
Dillan turned to her with a small smirk. "I did."
She rolled her eyes before she was hit by a net that was shot at her, pinning her to a tree. “What the hay!?”
Dillan's eyes widened as he looked over where the net came from, noticing three men in all black uniforms. "Target secured." One of them said into an earpiece, before Dillan rushed over and started pulling the net to get Rainbow free.
“Dillan, help!” Rainbow struggled in the net.
Dillan pulled a side of the net free, before one of the men in black grabbed him. "Son, step away from the creature, it's dangerous."
"No, I'm dangerous if you hurt her!" Dillan yelled, elbowing the man in his crotch causing him to yell and let Dillan go. Dillan rushed over and pulled the net to the side enough for Rainbow to wiggle out, before the other two men in black shot them both with nets capturing them both. "No! Leave her alone!"
“Gah! D-dillan run away!” Rainbow yelled as she tried her best to free him with her wings.
"No." Dillan said glaring at the men in black. "I'm not going anywhere, I'm not leaving you alone with these bastards!"
"Jeez kid, such a foul mouth." One of the men said, before something hit him in the head. "Ow! What the?"
"Hey losers let our friends go!" A voice yelled, before another rock flew through the air and hit the one Dillan elbowed in the nuts as well.
"Why!?"
"Oh my, who was it?"
“You’ll never guess.”
"Who's there!?" The last man yelled, before a loud tink noise sounded through the park and a small baseball smacked him in the face.
"Pst Dillan." A familiar voice whispered as he was cut free.
"Alyssa?" Dillan asked in shock, before his human friend cut Rainbow free.
"No time to explain, get going!" Alyssa said, before Rainbow dash and Dillan started running out of the forest running into Tyler.
“You!? Why are you helping us?” Rainbow asked. “I thought you hated Dillan.”
Tyler looked at Dillan for a moment, before walking past them. "Consider us even for sticking up to my dad."
Rainbow frowned a bit before she lowered her head. “Thank you…don’t get hurt.” Then she started to run.
Dillan looked back at Tyler with a smile, before smirking playfully. "Try not to piss yourself." He said running off as Tyler looked back and smirked a bit.
Rainbow looked at Dillan with tears in her eyes. “I should go, leave so you and your family don’t get in trouble.”
Dillan grabbed her and held her close, continuing to run. "No, I'm not letting you go alone!"
Rainbow blushed as she held onto him. “Thank you.”
Dillan smiled softly as he rushed down the street, pausing as he noticed black vans around his house. "Oh crap!"
“Oh no…” Rainbow said with a whimper. “What are we going to do?”
"I don't know, but don't worry I won't-" He started to say, before the two were surrounded by men in black again.
Rainbow grabbed onto Dillan and flapped her wings. “Hold on!” She tried to fly over the men.
“Oh no! Did you make it?”
"No… we didn't."
Dillan's eyes widened as three men launched nets at them, causing Rainbow's wings to get wrapped up as they fell to the ground with Rainbow on top of Dillan. "No! Leave Skittles alone!"
Rainbow started to cry. “W-wait…take me but leave Dillan and his family alone!”
"No!" Dillan yelled as the men picked up Rainbow dash. "Rainbow, no please!"
Rainbow looked at Dillan with tears running down her cheeks. “I am sorry Dillan, please stay safe.”
"No! SKITTLES! YOU BASTARDS LEAVE HER ALONE!" Dillan yelled angrily.
“Anomaly captured, what do we do with the civilians?” One of the men said into an earpiece.
Dillan cried against the concrete, staring at Rainbow dash as his family watched him worriedly. He sniffled before getting an idea, his head snapping up to the man in black. "Hey! If you take her you should take me too! I've been around her the most and we've even kissed! Who knows what kind of diseases she's given me!"
“Yes sir.” He looked at the other men. “Quarantine and question them.”
Dillan glared at them as they untied him, grabbing his arms as he was forced over to his family. "Hurt her and I'll kill you."
“Sir, keep your son under control.” The man said to Dillan’s father.
"I'll stop him when he says something I disagree with." Dillan's father said, glaring at the man. "You bastards broke into my house and wrecked the place, not only that you shot nets at an innocent girl and kidnapped my son's girlfriend. Let her go now!"
“Sir, you are lucky you aren’t in handcuffs being taken to a black site. You harbored an unknown alien creature that is quite possibly hostile and has used some sort of technology or pheromones to control you and your family.” The man said before he pushed Dillan’s father inside. “Cut everything to the house but water and power.”
“What is a black site?”
"A jail where they could have locked us up without bail, or being formally charged with a crime."
Dillan glared at them all. "You're a bunch of imbeciles. She's only a year older than me, you pansies are just a bunch of scaredy cats. And I hope the leader of her country beats you all up."
"I would never!"
“That is a threat, if they invade we will retaliate.” The man said as he left the house as the others put up plastic to cover up the windows and door.
Dillan glared at them as they put up the plastic, clutching his fist angrily as he saw the man slap Rainbow dash in the van. He growled angrily as he grabbed a pair of scissors and ran at the Plastic. "Dillan!" His mom yelled, before Dillan stabbed the plastic covering the door and rushed outside to the van, shocking the man in black as a thin blue aura covered Dillan.
"Wait what?"
"You don't remember that?"
"No, all I remember is being angry and then I just used scissors to cut through the plastic and rush the guy."
“Well somehow you glowed blue as you charged at them and even stabbed one of them in the leg, but then one of them shot you with a dart.”
Dillan landed on his knees and he looked at Rainbow dash with blurry eyes, reaching out for her. "Sk-skittles…"
"How is he able to resist the sleep dart?" One of the men asked as the man who pushed the boy's father held his bleeding leg.
“No clue, it must have something to do with the creature, get it out of here!”
"No! Leave her alone!" Dillan yelled, the blue aura shining brighter before he started to pass out. "Sk-skittles…"
"D-dillan… please stop, you'll be safer without me…" Rainbow dash said with tears running down her face as Dillan passed out finally.
“I was so scared that he was hurt and begged the men to leave him alone…”
"When I woke up, I broke down crying. I never felt so alone and afraid. And I felt like I failed…"
Present day
Dillan whipped his eyes as tears swelled up inside them, making him sniffle and look up with a sigh. "It was the worst birthday I'd ever had."
Rainbow put a hoof on his lap. “We don’t have to continue the story.”
Dillan shook his head. "N-no it's ok, I just need a minute."
Rainbow nodded her head. “You can go get a snack or something while I tell them my side of things.”
Dillan sighed a bit, nodding a little. "Y-yeah… ok."
Rainbow kissed his cheek. “Don’t worry I will save the best part for when you get back.”
Dillan nodded a bit before gently setting Twilight and Pinkie pie down on the chair he was sitting on as walking out, while Celestia looked to two of the guards. "Go with him, try to help him feel better however you can." She said with a grin.
They blushed and nodded. “Y-yes ma’am.”
The guards followed Dillan out along with Fluttershy as the mares smirked. "That mare must have really liked what they did, anyway continue the story." Applejack said.
Rainbow sighed and nodded. “Right…um Spike could you bring us some drinks and snacks? The next part isn’t exactly a nice part.”
"Of course." Spike said, rushing out to get some snacks before coming back a few minutes later.
Rainbow looked down at the table for a moment before continuing the story. “After Dillan passed out I was taken away in a flying device called a helicopter. It took so long I fell asleep, and when I woke up I was in a small cage with some scientist taking some blood…and other samples.”
Rainbow dash huddled in the back of the cage shaking violently as Scientists cut off a piece of her mane and took some of her blood with a needle. "What are you going to do to me! I wanna be with my colt friend!"
The scientists ignored her as they started working on tests. “The creature is awake.” One of them said.
"My name is Rainbow dash!" She yelled, kicking a needle away.
“Any alien parasites on the creature?” A doctor asked as he looked over a clipboard.
"No sir." Another scientist said.
"I wanna go home…" Rainbow dash whimpered, curling in on herself.
“How is it even able to fly? The wings are far too small to support its size.” One of the scientist said while scratching his head.
"Magic." Rainbow said, turning away. "all Pegassi have magic to help us take flight."
"Magic isn't real." One scientist said.
“Don’t interact with it, that is for the interrogators to do.” One of them said.“Don’t interact with it, that is for the interrogators to do.” One of them said.
"If it's not gonna shut up, we minis well answer its questions. Besides it's a new species it's better to have good relations with at least one of them." The scientist said.
"If you wanted good relations with me you shouldn't have foal napped me and taken me away from my colt friend!" Rainbow dash yelled.
"Ok, what is a Colt friend?" The same scientist asked.
"He called himself my boyfriend or something." Rainbow dash said.
“You were in an interspecies relationship with that boy?” One of them asked and wrote that down.
"W-we like each other…" Rainbow dash said with a blush, fiddling with her hooves. "H-he was the one that found me and kept me safe when I didn't know what was going on…"
“Hmm sounds like a possible Traitor to our species.” One of them said.
"Why?" Another asked. "Because he fell in love? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard."
“He would rather protect this thing than his own world, for all we know she is a scout that will lead an invasion.” The same man said.
"I didn't mean to come here!" Rainbow dash yelled.
“So you say, but we don’t believe you.” The man said before using large metal pincers to grab one of her feathers and yank it out.
"Ow!" Rainbow yelled, backing away from the man with a glare. "Stop that! I need those!"
“Not any more little alien.” The man said as he took the feather over to a microscope.
Rainbow dash growled as another pair of pliers came towards her, before she kicked the hands holding them into the cage. "Get away from me you creeps!"
“Damn thing kicked me!” One of them said.
“Well it is a horse, they are known to kick.” Another said with a laugh.
"I am not a horse! I'm a pony!" Rainbow dash yelled angrily.
“Same family, you are just a small horse.” One of them said with a laugh.
"I'm not a horse!" Rainbow dash yelled, tears filling her eyes. "I-i'm a good filly…."
Rainbow frowned as the scientists studied, poked, and prod her for days. She was locked in a small dog carrier inside a jail cell.
After a few months of the repeated processes, being interrogated, prodded and inspected a man walked up to her cage. "Are you ok?"
“I want to go home…” Rainbow whimpered with a sniffle.
"I know you do, but you'll go home soon." He said, gently rubbing her head as she suddenly felt calmer.
“Wha…what do you mean?” She asked.
A small blue light began glowing from his finger, as her mind became calmer. "Just have hope." He said, smiling softly before he got up and left.
She stood up and watched him. “Wh-who are you?”
The man smiled back at her, revealing only a single scar over his left eye and a light blue coat. "A friend." He said, before walking away.
Rainbow sighed and sat down, looking down. “A friend? I wonder how Dillan is?”
"Just have hope, and you'll see him soon." The man's voice said, from the darkness before his footsteps faded away.
Rainbow looked up, noticing she was alone. “He’s…gone?” She looked around before frowning. “I need to get out of here.” She turned around and tried to buck the cage open.
Days passed by, as Rainbow dash tried to free herself to no avail. One day some men came in and took her from the cage, wearing full hazmat suits as they led her to a large metal table. “What are you doing? What is that thing!? Let me go! I don’t like it here!”
"You won't have to worry about that anymore." One of them said, as they strapped her to the table.
She whimpered and tried to pull herself free. “No! Let me go! I don’t like this!” She started to cry. “Celestia, mom, dad, Dillan save me!”
Present day.
"I think we'll stop the story there for now." Rainbow dash said with a frown. "Until Dillan gets back."
"Did you ever find out who that guy that told you to have hope was?" Spike asked her.
Rainbow shook her head. “No, but he felt familiar.”
"Who did?" Dillan asked, coming back into the room with the guards and Fluttershy who seemed flustered.
“A man that gave me hope…his finger glowed and he has a scar.” Rainbow said with a confused frown.
"His finger glowed?" Dillan asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Yeah, the same color blue as you did when you went nuts.” Rainbow said while tilting her head.
Dillan blinked a few times. "Huh, that sounds like a blue lantern. But it's impossible, they don't exist in my dimension."
“Stange.” Rainbow said before telling Dillan where she was in the story.
"What's a blue lantern?" Twilight asked as Rainbow's eyes widened.
"Please don't get him started." She said, rubbing her head.
"Hey, I don't get to talk about it all that often!" Dillan said, crossing his arms. "The basics are there's eleven lantern corps, each one uses a ring fueled by an emotion to fight and create constructs of light. Similar to that bracelet Rarity used when you all got sucked into the power ponies."
Rarity blushed lightly when everyone looked at her and smiled. “That was fun to use.”
"I'm sure it was, but let's hope they don't ever get here… at least not without reprogramming the rings." Dillan said, shaking his head. "There's some nasty ones. The main ones being Red, Orange, and yellow."
"Why them?" Spike asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well, Yellow can only be used by those who use fear. Orange is so strong there can only ever be one orange lantern because of the raw energy of Greed it produces… red is the second worst though… if you get a red ring all the blood in your body is replaced by its energy and you'll become a rage filled monster forever. If you remove a red ring unless near a Blue lantern… that person using the ring will die."
“Oh my.” Celestia said before she looked at Spike for a moment. “If orange rings ever appeared here all the dragons would be unstoppable.”
"No they wouldn't, they'd probably be dead. Eventually so would all the other species on the planet as the orange lantern would kill everyone and everything to claim the planet and everything on it as their own." Dillan said, shocking them all.
"Wait… ya said the red one was the second worst… what's the first?" Applebloom asked, as everyone looked at Dillan.
"..." Dillan stayed silent for a moment, before sighing. "Black."
Rainbow put a hoof on his hand. “Basically zombies.”
"Zombies!?" Spike and Shining armor asked in shock.
"Yeah… the black lantern rings are rings that go to the dead bodies of creatures and bring them back." Dillan said, shaking his head. "But on a lighter note if any of the good ones show up we'd be able to fight them. Green, blue, Indigo… kinda, and violet, along with White, and Gold."
“There is a gold ring?” Rarity asked with a smile.
"Yeah but only one person has ever gotten it I think." Dillan said with a shrug. "In order to qualify for the gold rings, yes plural you need two. You can never feel any emotion other than happiness."
“Wow, that sounds really hard, I don’t think even Pinkie could get that power.” Twilight said as she wrote everything down.
"Well yeah, remember the mirror pool thing? She's been sad before." Dillan laughed a bit. "Let's see… green you need to overcome great fear and have an unbreakable will, blue you need hope… that's basically it. Violet is love so Cadence would be the most overpowered Violet lantern also called star sapphires." Dillan said, smirking as he watched Twilight write everything down.
"Are you explaining all this just so Twilight can take notes?" Shining armor asked with a grin.
"Yes." Dillan said.
"Oh brother.” Rainbow said with a sigh. “Please don’t make her a comic book nerd too.”
"I have a watch that lets me turn into aliens, that's pretty comicbookie don't you think? I'm pretty sure it was too late." Dillan said with a laugh.
"What about indigo?" Twilight asked. "And white? And what was that last core you didn't mention yet?"
"Oh, Indigo is compassion but unless you willingly accept the ring it can be used as a punishment to force criminals to learn compassion. White is the opposite of black, so Life. And the last one is the ultraviolet corp. It's the unseen light of hidden emotions, the ones no one wants others to see." Dillan said as Twilight wrote it all down.
“I don't remember that one.” Rainbow said and rubbed her chin.
"The ultraviolet and gold lanterns are the newest ones. They came out after you left." Dillan said with a smile. "Oh yeah, there's a lot more Flash comics now."
"Really!?" Rainbow dash asked excitedly, before blushing and looking away. "I mean… cool…"
Spike smirked and leaned closer to Rainbow. “So you like superhero comics? Also, who is the Flash?”
"Human Filly second basically." Dillan explained with a grin.
"Speed is key." Rainbow said with a blush and looking away.
“I will be sure to share some of my comics with you.” Spike said with a smile.
"Why don't you two and Applebloom form a comic club?" Applejack suggested.
"Applejack!" Her sister yelled embarrassed.
“Huh? Why would Applebloom want to join? I never saw her reading a comic book.” Spike said, confused.
Applebloom blushed redder as Applejack laughed. "Oh she does, mostly in her room alone."
"So she's a closet comic reader." Dillan said with a grin.
“Aww what? Why didn’t you tell me? I have a huge collection.” Spike said before smirking. “I also still have that magic comic that lets you be the power ponies.”
"You do?" Dillan, Twilight, and Rainbow dash asked.
"I told you to throw that away." Twilight said with a frown.
“Why? I paid for it and it can be fun if you're prepared for it.” Spike said with a shrug.
"He's got a point." Celestia said with a giggle, as Applebloom played with her tippy hooves.
"A-ah guess we could read together…" She mumbled.
“Sister, you didn’t share your spell of making a story able to be experienced, did you?” Luna asked with a small frown. “We have told you it can be risky.”
"I didn't! I um… I used the spell on one of my personal comic books and uh… accidentally sold it years ago…" Celestia said, turning away.
Luna groaned and face hoofed. “Oh Tia, what are we going to do with you?”
Celestia grinned a bit before pouting at Dillan. "Love me won't you?" She asked, fluttering her eyelashes as he blushed deeply.
Rainbow smirked and elbowed Dillan. “You gonna say anything?”
Dillan blushed redder as the mares giggled at him. "W-well of course I will. But Skittles did say to give us time alone for a while since we just found each other again."
Celestia giggled and nodded her head. “I was only teasing and trying to change the subject.”
"R-right, anyway let's continue the story." Dillan said.
"Oh wait, Did you ever see that man again?" Rarity asked Rainbow dash.
"Yeah, it was during the days before those people strapped me to the table. He taught me a song and told me to hold it in my heart… and it made me feel better." Rainbow dash said with a small smile.
“What was the song?” Dillan asked.
"Um… friends like us." She said, rubbing her leg.
"Wait From Annabelle's wish!?" Dillan asked in shock.
“What is that Dillan?” Twilight asked.
"Our favorite movie to watch… together…" Rainbow dash said with a blush.
“Aww.” Cadence, Rarity, and Celestia said with a smile.
Rainbow blushed and leaned on Dillan more, smiling as he wrapped his arm around her. “So what happened next?” Twilight asked.
Rainbow struggled on the table as tears filled in her eyes, fear filling her as the scientists came in with dissection tools. “Alright, everything is set, let us start this vivisection.” One of the scientists said as he got a hair clipper and turned it on.
"What!? You're going to kill me!?" Rainbow dash yelled, struggling more.
The scientist begins to shave off her chest fur. “Sadly we must see how your body works, so we are going to cut you open to study your insides.”
"No!" Rainbow dash yelled tears flowing from her eyes. "What's wrong with you! I'm thirteen!"
“Fur removed, hand me the scalpel.” The scientist said.
The scientists and Rainbow dash jumped as the ceiling vent slammed open, as Dillan jumped down with a pipe, smacking one of the scientists on the head and making him fall onto a scalpel.
“Dillan!?” Rainbow shouted in surprise and relief.
"What the hell!?" One of the scientists yelled, as Dillan grabbed the pipe and threw it at him, hitting his nose as blood shot out.
"Get away from my Rainbow dash!" Dillan yelled, before grabbing the scalpel.
Rainbow blushed lightly. “Dillan, you came!”
Dillan smiled at her as a scientist tried to grab him, before he cut the scientist's arm with the scalpel. "Let. Her. Go!"
“Gah! You little brat!” The scientist yelled and threw him away.
Dillan slammed into the wall as he glared at the scientist. "Let her go! She hasn't done anything wrong you bastards!"
“She is an alien! That is enough!” The scientist shouted as guards came in.
"She's no older than me! People like you are why humanity is a piece of shit!" Dillan yelled as a guard grabbed him from behind, before Dillan suddenly stabbed him in the neck with the scalpel.
Everyone gasped in shock.
"... I don't tolerate those I love getting hurt…"
Rainbow's eyes widened in shock as Dillan kicked the next guard in the shin before quickly unshackling his girlfriend.
“Dillan, get on my back, we can fly out of here!” Rainbow shouts.
Dillan quickly got on her back as she took off, flying through the corridors at high speeds. "turn left! I have an idea!"
“Right!” Rainbow turned to the left. “How did you find me?”
Dillan smiled and hugged her, kissing her head. "In all honesty I just… followed my heart. Ever since we met I've been able to find you just by thinking about you."
Rainbow blushed and smiled. “I am so happy you came…but you put yourself in danger.”
Dillan smiled as they turned into another room with a large machine. "Maybe, but you're worth it."
Rainbow landed and looked around. “This is a dead end!”
Dillan smiled as he held up the pipe he had and threw it into the large rotating propeller causing it to explode. "Yeah, but now they shouldn't follow us."
Rainbow hugged him and smiled with tears running down her cheek. “I missed you so much.”
Dillan smiled and kissed her, holding her closer to him. "I've missed you too, now let's get going." He said before the machine exploded again, causing the flames to surround them both as the doorway was blocked.
“What are we going to do? We are stuck!” Rainbow asked with tears in her eyes.
Dillan looked around worriedly holding onto her, his eyes noticing a glimmering light before a portal opened in front of the two. Three ponies stood on the other side two pegasi, one with a similar Rainbow mane to Rainbow dash, one with an orange mane and tail. The last being a tall white pony with wings and a horn, her Pink, green, and blue mane and tail flowing without any air. "Whoa…"
“What?” Rainbow asked before she looked where he was looking and she gasped. “Mom, Dad, Princess!” She stood up and smiled. “You came for me!”
The three stared at them with shocked expressions. "Rainbow!" Her parents said happily as the flames became more intense, as Dillan looked down at Rainbow and kissed her gently before he pushed her through the portal.
“Whoa!” Rainbow shouted before being caught in a golden glow. “Dillan! Come with me, please!”
Dillan smiled softly at her as he shook his head. "I can't, after everything they've done for me I can't abandon my family…"
“But…you can't escape! The fire will…will.” Rainbow said as she was set down. The tall pony looked between the two children.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine. Thanks for being my girlfriend Dashy!" Dillan said smiling as another explosion erupted with flames surrounding him, the portal snapping closed immediately afterward he was engulfed in flames.
“My goodness, that must have been horrible to watch.”
"You have no idea…"
"Dillan! Dillan please no!" Rainbow dash yelled, tears falling down her cheeks as she turned to Celestia. "Can you open the portal! I need to save him!"
“Allow me to fill in any missing pieces.”
“I am sorry young one, the portal is extremely hard to make, even if I could open it again…I am afraid your friend did not survive.” Celestia said as she lowered her head to the filly.
Rainbow dash's eyes filled with tears as she sobbed. "N-no! He has to be alive! H-he's my colt friend!"
Rainbow’s parents walked over and tried to comfort her. “I am sorry young one…” Celestia said with a sigh. “I wish he didn’t have to die.”
Rainbow wailed out in pain and sorrow, sobbing into her mother's chest. "H-he's not gone I can feel it!"
Celestia closed her eyes and let out a breath. “Please stay in the castle as long as you need.” She said to Rainbow’s parents.
"Thank you, your majesty." Her dad said with a smile, holding his daughter as she sobbed.
"H:he's not dead, he's not dead. He can't be, he saved my life, he's not dead!" Rainbow dash sobbed more.
“Honey…please come with us, let’s get you cleaned up and some rest.” Her father said as he tried to get her to move.
Present day.
"After that Rainbow was inconsolable from then on, until a few weeks later her parents asked me to remove her memories." Celestia said.
"Over me?" Dillan asked Rainbow dash with a small small.
“Yeah…I couldn’t stop thinking about you, our good times…and your death.” Rainbow said with a sigh then she looked at Celestia a bit upset. “I begged Celestia not to take my memories of you away once my parents told me what was going to happen…but…she did.”
Celestia sighed and hung her head. "I am sorry miss Dash, I thought he was gone. And you weren't eating…"
Dillan smiled softly and rubbed Rainbow's head. "I'm happy she did, if you weren't eating who knows what would have happened."
“I would have started eating…eventually..” Rainbow said with a small frown.
"Yeah… I suppose so. They were just worried about you." Dillan said.
“Yeah…” Rainbow said before she smiled a bit. “We should go see them now that I remember you.”
"Oh, jeez. That'll be interesting." Dillan laughed a bit. "Meet my colt friend who you made me forget who's back from the dead."
Rainbow giggled and smirked. “Yeah but they will like you, I promise.”
Dillan smiled a bit, sighing softly as he looked at his legs. "Yeah… I… I just wish my family and Alyssa were still… still…"
Rainbow hugged him, followed by Ceelstia, Luna, Pinkie, Rarity, and Applejack.
Dillan blushed and hugged everyone back. "T-thanks…"
Rainbow kissed his cheek and smiled. “I love you Dillan.”
Dillan blushed and smiled at her. "Love you too Skittles."
Rainbow smiled and leaned back. “So what should we do now?”
"I would like to know how Dillan got out of that room." Celestia said with a smile.
"I believe I may be able to shed some light on that." A voice called out, before Paradox walked out from behind Celestia.
This made everyone but Dillan jump, Celestia’s guards rushing over to aim spears at Paradox. “Oh I saw you!” Rainbow said while pointing at him.
"Indeed you did miss Dash, I thought I was hidden well enough. But oh well." Paradox said with a shrug as Dillan looked at the guard mares.
"It's Alright, he's a friend."
Celestia holds a hoof up. “It is fine, if Dillan trusts him I will as well.”
The guards slowly put their weapons down as Dillan smiled a bit. "Of course I trust him. He's the one that sent me here."
“If you were there why didn’t you help me?” Rainbow asked with a confused frown.
"Sadly I could not. I am not allowed to interfere with events pre determined." Paradox said with a smile.
“Pre de-what now?” Rainbow asked, even more confused.
"Fate." Dillan and Twilight said together.
"He can't interfere with fate, destiny, whatever you wanna call it." Dillan said.
“Oh.” Rainbow said and sat down. “Well…ok then.”
"If that's true, why were you able to save Dillan?" Applebloom asked him.
"Oh now that's an interesting thing isn't it?" Paradox asked with a grin. "I was able to interfere because as sad as it is, Rainbow dash was supposed to die by the hands of those people. And causing a war between earth and equestria which would have decimated both!"
"What!?" Everyone yelled in shock and horror.
Paradox nodded. "Oh yes, but one thing changed all of that… you." He said pointing at Dillan.
“Me?” Dillan asked, surprised.
“Him?” Rainbow asked at the same time.
Paradox nodded with a smile. "Yes! My boy, how many thirteen year olds would walk hundreds of miles in the rain and wind to save someone? From your earth." He said, making Dillan blush and look away. "Even with your soulmate connection you were a child and meant to stay at home with your family. But you broke that desire and went and rescued Rainbow dash. Thus spawning a new timeline, and saving millions of lives."
"Whoa…" Everyone mumbled in shock.
Rainbow put a hoof on Dillan’s hand. “Has he changed anything that was supposed to happen here in Equestria, besides the war I mean.”
"Well… the timeline itself is a bit off. But nothing major." Paradise said with a smile.
"Excuse me sir Paradox, does that mean Sir Dillan is the reason our world is so peaceful?" Luna asked.
"Oh not at all, that was thanks to you all. All Dillan did was set it in motion." Paradox said with a smile.
Rainbow looked down for a moment before her eyes widened. “It is because I am here!” She said, getting everyone's attention. “Because I survived earth the war never happened, I was able to meet Twilight, help save Luna, and all of our other adventures!”
Paradox smiled and nodded. "Correct. Dillan's actions were but a simple drop of water in the ocean of the multiverse. But it caused massive waves."
Everyone looked at Dillan before they hugged him. “Thank you Dillan.”
Dillan blushed red as he tried to move a bit. "U-um… you're welcome? But like Paradox said. It's not thanks to me, you all did it yourselves."
“Ah but you did open the possibilities.” Paradox said with a teasing smirk.
Dillan blushed and glared at Paradox. "Quiet you."
He chuckled and held up a bag of gumballs. “Gumball?”
Dillan sighed and smirked, taking one as the mares let him go. "Thanks. So you saved me because I altered what was supposed to happen? What about displacing me, why'd you do that?"
"Ah now that, you see… due to the unusual circumstances I was given permission to interact with you only once. When your life was at its lowest. Your predecessor, the one who's Ultimatrix is on your wrist, asked that I give it to someone worthy of the powers. And I couldn't think of anyone better than someone who saved two realities." Paradox said with a smile.
Dillan looked at his watch for a moment before he smiled softly. “Alright, so how did you get me out of the fire?”
Paradox smiled as he clicked open his watch, a portal opening up before he walked through only to come back a minute later holding a young unconscious Dillan who's back was severely burned with blood leaking from his skull.
Everyone’s eyes widened as Celestia and Luna got up and rushed over to him. “Oh goodness, he needs medical attention right now!”
"I guess that explains why I didn't die from blood loss…" Dillan mumbled a bit, before Rainbow dash flew out of the castle at top speeds.
"Indeed, and in your delusional state. You'll only remember all this-" Paradox started to say.
"As a dream… yeah I remember." Dillan said looking at his younger self.
Luna and Celestia were using their magic to keep young Dillan alive. “Oh dear…is there anything we can do?” Rarity asked.
"For now just wait. Rmof I'm right Rainbow went and got the books on human physiology and health we got from kendras world to help." Dillan said, shaking his head as Applebloom giggled a little.
"You were cute as a kid." She said.
"Don't start any of that!" Dillan said, looking away. "It's so weird hearing that from a kid!"
All the mares looked at young Dillan and smiled softly. “You know…the filly is right, you are cute as a colt.” One of the guards said.
Dillan blushed a bit and looked away as Rainbow dash came back with a bunch of books. "Here's all the books Kendra's Nurse Red Heart gave us on human anatomy!"
“Thank you Rainbow.” Celestia said as she took the books and read through them quickly, before using her magic to heal young Dillan’s burns the best she could.
Paradox smiled and nodded, opening his pocket watch as young Dillan was teleported away. "Now, now, you can't heal him completely. Dillan was in the hospital for months recovering."
"Yeah, and I still have some of the burn marks." Dillan said with a small grin.
“I am afraid that is the best we can do anyway.” Luna said with a sigh, however Dillan saw the rest of the mane six looking at an open book with blushes.
"Ok you perverts!" Dillan said, grabbing the book from them. "There are still children here!" He said, before smirking slightly at them causing most to understand what he was thinking.
They blush more and Rarity coughs into a hoof. “Sir Dillan, we were merely studying human physiology.”
"Uh huh, do it at a slumber party without kids around." Dillan said, walking away with the book in his arm.
“Aww.” The younger mares said together.
“What’s the big deal? Ah see colt parts all the time at school.” Applebloom said with a shrug.
"Yeah? Well too bad I'm not talking about this again." Dillan said, before Rainbow dash whispered in Scootaloo's ear making her blush.
"Eeeew!" She said, shaking her head.
“What did she say?” Sweetie Belle asked.
"Humans don't have sheaths!" Scootaloo yelled, shaking her head and making Dillan facepalm.
“Ew!” The two fillies said and shook their heads.
“Meh, I have read of other species that don’t.” Spike said with a shrug.
“Anyway, we should probably start preparing to go to Griffonstone." Dillan said.
“Oh yeah…” Rainbow said with a small frown.
Dillan smiled softly and rubbed her head, as Pinkie giggled. "Should we get a private car on the train?" She asked with a smirk.
Rainbow giggled a bit. “No Pinkie, this is an important mission from the map, so no fun times.”
Pinkie giggled more. "Why not? It'll take us a while to get there."
“Because we have to control ourselves, Pinkie.” Rainbow said with a sigh.
"Oh fine." Pinkie said with a sigh.
Dillan blushed red again before coughing. "Anyway. Scootaloo, come with me."
“Huh?” She looked up at him. “Why?”
Dillan smiled softly at her. "Well, if you're going to stay with me. We need to set up your room."
Scootaloo’s ears perk up. “Oh right…I had forgotten.”
Dillan frowned a bit and hugged her. "I'm sorry."
“It…it’s ok.” She said softly.
Dillan shakes his head. "Believe me… I know it's not."
Scootaloo laid her head on his chest. “It is ok to still….miss my mom?”
Dillan sighed and nodded. "Of course it is…"
She closed her eyes. “Do you mind carrying me?”
Dillan grinned a bit and picked her up, holding her as he started walking. "Sure."
“We will finish up here then I will join you at your house.” Rainbow said with a small smile.
"Thanks." Dillan said with a smile to her, heading out the door.
They watched him leave before Rainbow sat down and let out a breath. “That was crazy to remember and retell.”
"Are you ok?" Luna asked her.
“Yeah, just talking about all that happened…” She put a hoof to her chest. “It was like reliving it.”
Celestia wrapped her wing around Rainbow Dash. "Would you like me to remove the bad memories?"
“No!” Rainbow shouted and backed away. “Good or bad, every memory makes me who I am.”
Celestia held up her hooves. "I was only trying to help."
“I am sorry princess, I know you are.” Rainbow said with a sigh. “What should we talk about now?”
Celestia smiled a bit and wrapped her wing around her again. "How about your date tomorrow?" She asked as all the mares giggled.
