Celestia's POV-
One night in the castle gardens there are two figures seen walking next to one another. One is a large white female Equino-Sapien, with multi-hued hair that waves in an ethereal wind, while the other is a much smaller female with a purple hue to her and Violet hair with blue and pink stripes in it.
As the figures walk the smaller one asks "Princess, what are we doing out here? Shouldn't it be close to my bedtime?" Twilight quietly says to her mentor.
"I know it is getting late for you Twilight Sparkle, but I feel that the time has come for you to learn of Equestria's past as far as dragons are concerned, for it was you who hatched the young drake from his egg. So with that said, we have arrived!" Stated Celestia, the Solar Queen of Equestria and all its territories( Mistress of Magics and Physical Might, the Sun Incarnate and the Suns Wrath when angered, among other titles given to her over the Eons).
Looking over at where her mentor was looking at, Twilight sees a strange statue, one that depicts a Bipedal figure riding atop of a dragon, one that she has not seen in her books before and asks "Princess Celestia, what IS that statue of? I don't recognize the figure nor the kind of dragon its riding! Please tell me you know princess, Please please please..." Begged the young filly.
Celestia looks over at her newest student and says quietly "I am sorry Twilight, for I do not know of His kind nor that of his dragon, only that together, they caused irreparable damages to many cities and towns back before my sister and I ruled Equestria, and that it was only through the efforts of the greatest mages of the time, Star swirl the Bearded and Clover the Clever that the beasts were sealed in stone by their combined spell work. They said that they couldn't understand what the being said, so they are referred to as ' The Rider and the Dragon of Lightening'.
For you see young Twilight, it was only because they worked together that so much damage was done to so many places. Now that you have heard of them I now want you to think about the young drake that you hatched earlier today, think of a name for him and what he means to you, for now you know how dangerous a dragon rider can be, but yet I wonder, how much good could a rider do. Please think these things over my young student." Celestia says to her young charge, only to look at her and see that she is sleeping. Giggling, the Solar Queen lift her student up and proceeds to take her to bed.
However, unknown to her at the time, indeed to everyone that has seen the statue, is that the Rider and Dragon Live, and they have heard a great many things and learned the language through observation.
POV Change, the MC ( Main Character)
" UUUUUUUUUGGGGHHHH... Really Chelly, that is all you know of me? BULLSHIT I know that you have his journal and Clovers too ya old nag, and don't forget that it was your 'precious' little ponies that decided that I was an enemy and attacked first. On top of that, those cities and towns you talked about, I WAS TRYING TO HELP THEM! But the MAGI nerds did not think to ask the residents of the cities and towns did they? DID THEY??? No they did not, all that they saw was a dragon and her rider flying around and because it was different, it was the problem." The Rider stated in his mind-scape.
It was also around then that the Dragon woke up and tried to placate her rider.
"Now Harrkon, you know that she can't hear you and that no-one ever has since we were stoned by the Magi duo! Besides, we have better things to do besides listening to her and her ilk. our time has nearly come! It is as you said so long ago: 'When little o'le Chelly gets her a new student that's Purple and has the name Sparkle, our time trapped in stone will soon end'. Come now and tell me another story about the Fatherlands and the Dragonlands and and..."
"Ok ok that's enough Ran*, sure I'll tell ya another story or three, I mean what else are we going to do huh. We have been stuck as stone for almost 2500 years and very little has changed here in the world. Science and technology advance so slowly here a snail could out pace them. It should be only a decade or two before we can be freed from our stone prison." stated Harrkon Njordsson** the Dragon Rider.
"Well well well what have we got here? My two 'Favorite' beings on this miserable rock." comes another voice within the mind-scape.
"Dissy you're back!!!" Shouts Ran as she runs up to the mismatched Draconiquis." Where did you go this time! What did you see!!! DID YOU BRING ME A PRESENT?!?!?!" The last bit being shouted out as Ran tries to hug the wily spirit of Chaos and Change. He looks down towards her as he reaches behind himself and states:
"Well what kind of spirit of Chaos would I be if I didn't bring something back for the only other beings that can hear and interact with me during our time in stone".
"YOU GOT ME A PRESENT!!!"*** Ran Shouts to the heavens and starts to laugh like a mad dragoness as Discord hands her her gift, which turns out to be a banana leaf wrapped, stuffed and roasted, whole rams body that looks like it came from some tropical paradise. In which she would be correct."So Dissy where did you go to this time?" Ran asks as she starts to munch on the mutton.
"I just went to some Islands in another Dimension and while I was relaxing there was this big party going on and as it turns out is was a celebration of someones Marriage so I just had to intervene and spread a little bit of chaos and fun". States Discord as he pulls out another gift for the young man behind the dragoness." And for you my friend, a book on navigation and cartography by the beings of that realm of existence". As he hands the book to the rider, a pulse of energy is felt nearby and everyone in the mind-scape yells
"WHAT IN Tartarus/ Nielfhiem/ Alphas Name was that?!?!?!?!?!?"

*: Ran –The Scandinavian sea Goddess. Ran represents the wild aspect of the sea. Offerings were made to appease her by sailors who wanted a safe passage. She sometimes appears as a mermaid.
**: Njord– A Vanir god associated with wind and sea. Husband of Skadi and father of Freyja and Freyr.
