Undergoing yet another rewrite, this time from the ground up. Apologies for the inconvenience, I realized a few key things; First, I've since improved as a writer since my last rewriting efforts, and feel like the entire start of this thing needs an overhaul. Second, I may need to change the title once I've completed my rewrite due to... well, to put it lightly, I don't think I've ever had a need to use, or a real purpose for, the illusion magic aspect given to the MC. Because on their own, a changeling with the mindset to exploit their powers is already a formidable force to be reckoned with, let alone one keen on learning more about magic and how to manipulate it. That, and some things could just be removed due to irrelevance to the actual story. Cutting out some of the fluff, changing the writing, etc. I am determined to make this as best as I can, and sometimes that means changing it quite a bit.
