We Have A Guest (Part 1) Canterlot City has always been one of the most busiest cities for who knows how long. The streets would be packed with traffic jams and the stores would be flowing with customers. The city seemed like a somewhat peaceful place to be in. But everyone knows that it isn't always the case. Sometimes in life, people in the past or the present lose their lives and for some unknown reason, their restless spirits can't seem to find eternal rest whether they're lost and can't find their way or have a serious grudge and refuse to leave. But there are some cases when human spirits are not always the cause of these paranormal hauntings and moreso with even darker entities who wish to bring harm and destroy humankind and won't rest or leave until they've fulfilled their cold dark quest. In times like these, people have nowhere to turn to and isolate themselves into a state of panic and torture. In cases like these, there's only so much that the law can do to keep the citizens safe from harm. How can they hope to protect if their culprits are not alive or if it's even a human at all? There's only one group in all of Canterlot City that can save the people from such entities. And that group is known as the Canterlot City Paranormal Research Society (or the C.C.P.R.S). It has been one year since the group was formed and two years since the owners Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle and Anonymous graduated from Canterlot High School. For a whole year, they've made a living off their newest business, but it wasn't enough to pay the bills, so they all took some side jobs just to survive. But because they couldn't open up their business in a public place, they had to resort to putting up fliers all over the city and opened up their business at their house. As of right now, Twilight was sitting in the living room, drinking some coffee with Sunset Shimmer. Anon was in the kitchen on his laptop, finishing up his latest report on the case of this abandoned orphanage he and the girls investigated. "Ugh, I feel like crap." Sunset groans. "I'm tired of having to wake up every morning with sweat running down my pajama shirt collar. I wish I wouldn't have nightmares all the time." "Tell me about it. But what choice do we have? Being paranormal investigators comes with the consequence of having trouble sleeping at night." Twilight says. "It just takes time for the nightmares to wear off and eventually we'll be able to sleep better." "Except that's usually on the night before we end up having a client call us!" said a male voice. Twilight and Sunset's eyes turned to the ground where a purple and green dog was laying on his own personal doggie bed and had a doggie treat under his paw. This dog was named Spike. "Plus, why do you guys want me to tag along if you're always gonna end up driving out ghosts?" "Here's a few questions you might be able to answer, Spike." Anon called out from the kitchen. He walks into the living room and takes a seat on the couch. "Can you see ghosts?" he asks. "I don't just see ghosts, I hear and sometimes sense them. But does that have to do with me being a part of your group if it's mostly people investigating?" "Because the truth is that animals are more sensitive to the paranormal world than people. They have the ability to see what the naked eye can't see. And in certain cases that we've solved, you always know if any of the places are haunted or not judging by those random growls and barks of yours." Anon explains. "Okay, then how come you can see sense spirits?" Spike asks. "Because Anon was born with these enhanced psychic abilities to see ghosts. Sometimes, when he was young, he'd end up causing poltergeist hauntings around people who bullied him. Because of this, the people around him, even his own parents were scared of him. He had no one to turn to as a friend so he always remained that quiet and creepy kid that no one ever talks to." Twilight says. "But then, during his 3rd and 4th year in high school, we gave him a chance to actually have friends. He might not look be like other people, but that doesn't mean he's not human." Sunset says. "Thanks." Anon says, plainly. Before their conversation could go any further, the phone on the coffee table rang. "I got it!" Sunset says, grabbing the phone. She puts it close to her ear. "Hello, this is Sunset Shimmer, co-owner of C.C.P.R.S is there anything we can do to help you?" "Uh, yeah hi, my name is Crimson Pit. I found your flier on a notice board and I was wondering if you guys would stop by the house and help us. Something's wrong with our house. A lot of strange activity's been happening over here and I don't know what to do." he says over the phone. "Okay, tell me exactly what's going on right now so we'll have a better grasp on the situation." "Well, every night when me and my fiance are sleeping, we'd always wake up and hear these loud thuds from the rooms down the hallways from ours and hear distorted voices. We check the whole house to see if anyone broke in but there's no one to be found. My fiance's really freaking out about it. Do you think you can come over to the house and take a look at it if you got time?" "Sure, this is what we're here for. Just tell us where we can meet up with you and your fiance and we'll be over there as fast as we can." Crimson agreed and gave Sunset the address and tells her to hurry before hanging up. Sunset puts the phone down and stands up. "Okay everyone, we gotta get the van ready." she says. "What's going on? Is it something bad?" Spike asks. "Afraid so, Spike. This one might something to do with vengeful spirit or possibly a demon." "In that case, I want you girls to help gather up all of the equiptment and load the stuff up in the van while I get a few things from my room. Now let's hurry. There's no telling what'll happen if we're too late." Anon says. He gets up from the couch and walks up the stair with the girls following him close behind. Once at the 2nd floor, Sunset and Twilight went into the guest room where the equiptment was stashed and grabbed them one by one while Anon went into his room and grabbed a few items out of his drawer, mostly items that are used to drive away hostile entities. Everyone got the equiptment and loaded them into the back of the van outside, which was parked in the driveway. Twilight went back inside the house and hooked Spike's leash onto his collar and walked back out before locking up the house and climbing into the van. Everyone else climbs in afterwards. Sunset starts the engine and drives off, following the GPS on her cell phone. 10 minutes later, the gang finally arrives at their destination. It was a one story house with a few vines on some of the edges and on the left of the house was a giant tree. Sunset, Twilight and Anon all got a chilling vibe just from looking at it, and it also got to Spike. His eyes immediately locked onto one of the open windows and he begins to growl like there's something there that he doesn't like. Anon felt it too and glared at the same window Spike was growling at. "Is it me, or does anybody feel like we're not suppose to be here?" Twilight asks, not taking her eyes off the house like she can't look away. "I feel it, too. But we can't let this affect us! We've got a job to do and we won't allow it go undone. Now come on and let's unload everything off the van!" Sunset says. She and Twilight step out of the van and walk over to the back of it, opening the rear doors. Anon got out and took some of the big equiptment with him and allowed the girls to take the smaller ones. They walked up to the front door and Twilight knocked on it. It opens, showing a young man and woman. The man was at least 6 feet tall and had red eyes and wore a thin black hoodie and had pale white skin. The woman next to him had beautiful blue eyes dark purple long hair with both a pink and light purple stripe. She wore a dark pink dress and had the same skin color as the man. "You guys sure know how to make good time. I should probably introduce myself. I'm Crimson Pit, the guy who called you all earlier. This is my fiance, Agent Fluffy." he says. "I'm Sunset Shimmer. And these are my friends, Twilight Sparkle, Spike and Anon. May we all come in now?" Sunset asks. "Sure, come on in and I'll fetch you something to drink." Crimson insists. The gang all steps in and soon, Spike already starts growling and feels his hair standing on end. When Crimson closes the door, Twilight takes Spike's leash off and allows him to walk free. But Spike only chose to move his head in different directions, growling at whatever was in there and hunching back in self defense. "Mr. Pit, hold on a second. We need you to stay with us for a while. There's just a few questions we need to ask the both of you before we can begin our investigation." Anon says. "O-Okay?" Crimson sounded unsure. "But you don't need to be formal. Just call me Crimson." "My apologies. Just a habit of mine. But anyways, I need to ask you two some questions regarding the incidents that have been occurring in your house." "Alright then." Crimson and Fluffy walk back into the living room and the others all walk over to the couch and take their seats, ready to go over the incidents. "Now, tell us, when exactly did you move into this house?" Anon asked "Fluffy and I moved into this house just 3 months ago. We were saving up to move out of our old apartment because we barely had enough space to walk and one day start a new family. You see, me and Fluffy are planning on getting married pretty soon." "Okay, first off, congradulations and second, when exactly did the activity start?" "It was about a week after we moved here. Whenever me and Crimson would come home from work, we'd find some of our pictures hanging upside-down. When I say some, I mean any picture that had the holy cross and of course, the kitchen cabinets and cupboards would all be wide open." "Has anything else happened here?" Twilight asks. "Yes. Late at night, sometimes Fluffy would wake up screaming in the night. I always jumped up with my heart beating fast when that happens. As if things weren't bad enough around here, everything's been getting worse when I saw these scratch marks on her." "I see. Look, I know this might sound like an odd request, but Fluffy, would you be so kind as to show me the scratch marks your fiance mentioned?" Anon asks. "I... I guess." Fluffy replied. She turns around and lifts the back of her shirt. Twilight, Sunset, and Spike all gasped while Anon gazed at the marks with a suspicious look. She had four slashes going down her back and it looked like it bled at one time but the blood dried up some time. "Oh my god! That's horrible!" Spike shouted in shock. "Alright, you can put it down now." Fluffy nodded and let go of her shirt and turned to face the group, still feeling very afraid about all of this. "Then one last thing, where does most of the activity occur so we can get a better grasp on where we can find and corner this entity?" Anon asks again. "It mostly takes place in our bedroom at the end of the hall. Other times in the bathroom and then there's the activity in the kitchen and living room." Fluffy says. "Good. That's all we need to know. Sunset, Twilight. Let's set up our base camp right here in the living room and then install the cameras up in the places Fluffy mentioned and make sure there's no blindspots so we'll have some cold hard evidence on who's causing all this!" Anon orders. Sunset and Twilight nodded and took the equiptment they already brought inside and went into the different rooms to install them. Anon ran back to the van and got the rest of the equiptment out. But just then, he feels like something from inside the house is watching him. He turns and sees a pair of glowing red eyes coming from the left window where it had black curtains. Anon didn't take his eyes off whatever was looking at him. He just knew that there's a strange vibe coming from inside the house and it didn't want him or the girls there. His head began to feel a jolt of pain rush through it and he gripped his head with a grunt. "I know why you're here." says a dark voice. "You'll never stop me from taking her. Soon nobody will ever come near me or him ever again!" those were the last words Anon heard before his headache just vanished completely and he was able to think more clearly. "Okay, that sort of felt like it escalated quickly." Anon says to himself. He takes the rest of the equiptment out of the van before closing the back doors. He walks back into the house with the equiptment in hand and set them down near in the living room. Anon looks around and sees a few of the video and thermal cameras installed all around the rooms that had the most activity. "Your friends work really fast when it comes to stuff like this." Fluffy says. "I couldn't ask for better friends. By the way, I was wondering how long has it been since you and Crimson finally decided to get engaged?" Anon asks. "We've been engaged for about 3 weeks. It happened one night when we were out enjoying a little time on this little hill, watching the sun set. He confessed about how we've been together for so many months that he pulled out this little box with a ring and just went and asked me to marry him." Fluffy says. "I'm guessing you said yes, huh?." "Mhm. It was the most amazing night of my life." "That's interesting." "Yeah. He just makes me feel so protected." "Well, after my team and I finish up driving out whatever is here, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful wedding." Anon says, smiling at her. He gets up and says, "Okay, back to work." He grabs the equiptment and walks down the hall into the master bedroom, setting up the video and thermal camera. "Hey, what are those camera's for?" Crimson asks, walking into the room. Anon turns around. "This video camera is equipped with night vision so this way it can be able to detect things normal video cameras can't see in the middle of the night. But this thermal camera records and captures the temperature of the room and can detect if there's a change in the temperature. If it gets too cold or too hot, then it's a definite possibility that something is in this whole house." Anon explains. "What if they don't show up?" "We can always use the other equiptment we've packed for the trip. Come on, I'll show you." "Uhh... no thanks, I'll just let you do your job. Here, I'll just get you and the others something to drink." "Alright, suit yourself." Crimson nods and walks out of the room and lets Anon finish setting up the cameras and positioned them in places where there were no blind spots. After that, he starts walking out of the room until by the time he's at the entrance when he gets pushed forward and he falls onto the ground floor. He lands on his stomach hard and grunts loudly and hears the door behind him slam shut. He lifts his head up off the ground and stares at the closed door and says, "I can't wait to send you back to hell." "Anon! Are you alright? What happened?" Twilight asks, running over to him and helping him up. "Twilight, it would appear that... we have a guest." Anon replies. "Have you and Sunset finished setting up the cameras in the designated areas?" "Yes. Everything's all set and ready to go." "Good, then have Crimson and Fluffy meet us all in the living room and we'll begin the investigation." "Alright." Twilight took Anon by the hand and walked him over to the living room where Sunset, Spike, Fluffy and Crimson were sitting on the couch. The monitors were all set up in the middle of the living room and all had perfect views of the rooms where the activity took place the most. Anon and Twilight both sat on the couches. Twilight reached for two of the equiptment, one of them was digital recorder and the other was an EMF reader. "What are those for?" Fluffy asks. "The digital recorder is used to capture EVP, or Electronic Voice Pheonomena. It allows us to capture the voices of any wandering spirits in the house. The EMF, or Electro-Magnetic Field reader is sort of like a motion sensor which helps us find out where ghosts are." Twilight explains. "So, what exactly can we do to help?" Crimson asks. "You and Fluffy should just go ahead spend your days like you usually do and we'll keep watch over the house through the cameras we set up. But when night falls, be careful. There are lots of cases when ghosts won't be active until it's nighttime." Anon implies. "Right, okay. And thanks for offering to help us." Crimson says. "Just doing our job." Sunset says. An hour roles by and so far, Fluffy and Crimson went about their daily lives while Anon and the girls kept watch over the monitors. Spike was sitting on Twilight's lap, bored out of his mind until he lifted one of his ears and turned to look at the hallway and growled. "Spike, what is it?" Twilight asks. Spike didn't answer, he just kept growling at the hallway. Anon got out his camera and ran to take a shot of what he was growling at. He took the picture and looked it over on his camera and saw what looked like a face in a mist. It looked like it was shouting. "Twilight! The digital recorder! Hurry!" Anon orders. Twilight grabs the recorder and hands it to Anon as quick as she could before he pressed record. "Who are you and why are you torturing this couple?" he asked. He waited for a few seconds and asked again. "What have they done to make you mad?" There was nothing but silence throughout the house and after a few seconds, Anon hit the stop button. He walked back to the living room with Twilight and sat back down on the couch. "What was that?" Fluffy asks, feeling a bit scared. "I don't know. But I think we got an EVP." Anon says. He presses the play button and listens. "Who are you and why are you torturing this couple?" ".. .. .." "What have they done to make you mad?" ".. .. GET .. HER .. OUT .. .." said a gargled voice out of the recorder. Fluffy clinged to Crimson and got scared. Anon turned off the recorder and couldn't stop glaring at it. "What the hell was that?!" Crimson asks. "That, Crimson Pit, was the sound of the ghost. I suggest that you and Fluffy stay close together. My hunch is telling me that he's after one of the girls. I'm guessing it's Fluffy." "But why? Why me?" Fluffy asks. "We don't know for sure, but we still strongly suggest you stay together until we sort this whole thing out. Who knows what'll happen if the ghost'll end up doing." Sunset says. "Guys! I can hear the ghost! He doesn't sound happy!" Spike says, more terrified now. "What is it, Spike, what is it saying?" Twilight asks all worried. "It's saying... "You're going to die! I'll kill you and curse you to hell! No one takes my family away!" Spike finishes with fear and clings to Twilight, whimpering. "Is that so? Well then, we'll just see about that. We're not leaving until this spirit is driven away. And remember you two, don't go anywhere inside your house alone. This one means business." Anon says. Fluffy and Crimson nodded and took Anon's advise. With a vengeful spirit that's probably out to get Fluffy, the gang must do all they can to save them from this living hell. Even if it means die trying. Where Demons Dwell (Part 1)Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Where Demons Dwell (Part 2)Swift and Anon had checked every square inch of the house trying to find Dusky Novel, but the two could find no trace of the poor young lady. They even checked Swift's sister's room, but found nothing except for her stuffed animals on her shelf and talking to her wasn't helpful either. Swift was getting worried about what was gonna happen to Dusky is they didn't find her in time. Anon was just as worried too. He knows very well that Dusky's soul is on the line if they don't find her in time. Anon's eyes drift towards the camera that he has set up in the room and checked up on it. He rewinds the video feed to see if he got anything. Of course, the camera caught the door slamming into his face, static cuts in for about 7 seconds until the video showed the room completely empty. "ANON, GET DOWN HERE, HURRY!" yelled Swift. Anon adjusts the camera and walks out of the guest room, descending the stairs to the living room. He looks to his right and notices Swift pointing to the wall, making Anon look at the wall himself. Carved in the wall, was a message written in blood saying "She will die a slow and painful death." Anon felt his stomach drop and his heart beating rapidly. Swift backed away from the wall, unknowingly bumping into Anon and let out a slight yelp, which made Anon jump. "God damn it, Swift, don't scare me like that!" Anon scolded, placing his hand over his heart. Both of them suddenly jumped when they heard a loud thud coming from upstairs. Swift and Anon's eyes gazed up at the ceiling, listening carefully at the thudding noises. Upon careful hearing, they sounded like heavy footsteps moving from one part of the 2nd floor straight to the other. Swift was getting worried because it sounded like the footsteps were walking straight towards Faded's bedroom. "Oh no, SIS!" Swift shouted, running up to the 2nd floor. Anon was worried that he might end up getting hurt so he want and followed him upstairs. Swift went into his sister's bedroom and gasped when he saw that the doll she was holding had changed some of its appearence. Her doll's emerald eyes had all turned jet black and her mouth was carved in a wide evil grin that sent chills down the guys' spines. "Swift, get that doll away from her, now!" Anon ordered. Swift ran in and reached out to grab the doll, but as he was only one inch away from the doll, he got blown back by an invisible force and hit Anon by accident before the door slowly closed on them. "OOF!" Anon grunted. Both of the guys looked up and watched as Faded Moon just stood there with her creepy doll and her now jet black eyes and spoke in a demonic voice. "This is the end for you all" and soon, the door finally closes and the two boys got up to their feet, rushing to her room and forced open the door. But it was too late, as Faded Moon was also gone without a trace. Swift felt his whole world come crashing down. Not only has his best friend disappeared, but his little sister as well. He falls to his knees and hands, looking at the floor, feeling the anger and sadness of what has happened to both of his closest friends and family. "N-No! No, he can't take her! DAMN YOU TO HELL, DEMON, YOU FREAKING HEAR ME?!?!?!" Swift shouts, pounding his fists on the ground. "That's enough, Swift. That's just what the demon wants. If you let your negative emotions get the better of you, it will feed off them and become stronger. You have to remember to keept calm, even if that thing tries to manipulate you through your loved ones." Anon explains. "The only reason it's doing this is because it's actually afraid to tackle us head on like a real demon would." "He-llo! That ugly-ass demon took my sister and my friend and we don't even have a god damn clue as to where to find the girls before it kills them! How am I suppose to stay calm?!" "Sooner or later, my associates will be here with the rest of the equiptment and then we'll have a better advantage in finding out where the girls are being held captive. We just need to have a little patience and not show any sign of weakness or we'll end up like them." "Ugh! Alright, but... I hope it's soon. I don't want to see them get hurt." Anon said nothing else and just nodded at Swift. The two of them walked out of the room and close the door before going back downstairs into the living room. Anon patiently watched over the monitors, looking over the video feeds from both of the rooms. For the past 20 minutes nothing happened out of the ordinary, except for a knock on the door. Anon got up from the couch and walked over to the door. He opens it up and sees Twilight, Sunset and Spike with the rest of the equiptment in hand. "Nice to see that you finally made it. We've got two guests who've already gone missing." Anon says, letting them in before closing the door. "Who are these girls?" Swift asks, confused. "We're with Anon. I'm Twilight Sparkle and this is my friend, Sunset Shimmer. And of course, this is Spike, my pet dog, nice to meet you." Twilight says, shaking Swift's hand. "I'm Swift Blade." he replies. "So, what exactly happened here so far?" Sunset asks. "Well, you'd better listen carefully because this is one hell of a messed up case we got here..." Anon began explaining every little detail that happened from the time Anon had set up the cameras in the rooms up the point of the girls disappearing from their rooms. "What?! How can two girls disappear without a trace behind closed doors within seconds?" Twilight asks. "It's close to being a 100% possibility, but this could be the work of something demonic. And if that's the case, we'll have to find out the source of the demonic hauntings. There's always a way to summon a demon into the real world, they don't just show up at a house out of the blue on their own." Anon explains. "Spike, do you think you can help us find the problem?" Twilight asks her dog. "I don't know if I can or not, but I can try." Spike replies. Swift got a bit creeped out at how Spike can talk. "Well, sniffer, don't fail me now." Twilight put Spike on the floor and allowed him to sniff the place from top to bottom, starting with the living room all the way to the kitchen and found nothing. He sniffed his way near the stairs and looked up at one of the closed doors with a low growl coming out of him. Everyone followed Spike up the stairs. Anon opened up the door to the guest room where Dusky was sleeping in and Swift opened up the room to Faded Moon's room. Spike started his search again, sniffing out the guest room for anything that he might find. Of course, nothing was found. He sniffed his way into Faded's bedroom, but even after he sniffed every square inch of the room, he found absolutely nothing. His eyes glanced at these two other closed doors and emitted a growl at both of them. Twilight and Sunset moved slowly to each door and opened them both. The door on the right lead to a bathroom while the one on the left lead to a closet that had a few jackets. Spike's attention was directed towards the closet and wouldn't stop growling and his fur was sticking up. Anon went inside the dark closet and searched behind the jackets one at a time. Nothing was inside there, but he soon felt something hard inside one of the jackets he pushed out of his way. He unzips one of the jackets and pulls out something that made his blood boil: A ouija board. "Just as I thought!" He growled. "What is it?! What did you find?" Swift asks. Anon turns around and shows him the ouija board. Swift backs away with shock in his eyes. "If there's one thing I've told some of my other clients before, it's to NOT use a ouija board, I don't care if the had a reason, ouija boards are dangerous!" "If those girls played with that thing, they might have opened a door they shouldn't have!" Sunset says. "Or in this case, a portal!" Swift says, still shocked. "I think we have to get in touch with our old friend again. He's our only chance at putting a stop to the demon if we're gonna have a shot at defeating him." Twilight implies. "Who are you talking about?" Swift Blade asks. "In past cases, some of our clients became possessed by demonic entities. So when stuff like this happens, we always call our good friend: Thunder Rider." "That guy?!" "You know him, Swift?" Twilight asks. "We've been like pals for quite some time now, but I never get to hang out at his place because of how he's alway busy at the church nowadays. I didn't know he was an exorcist." "You learn something new every day, Swift." Sunset replies. "And as good a plan that sounds, we have to find the girls and keep watch over them, otherwise we can't exorcise them. So I say we split up and find the girls before we think about calling Thunder Rider." she implies. "Good idea. But first, we'll have to set up the rest of the equiptment. That's our only best option right now before we can search for them." Anon implies. The girls nodded and went downstairs with Anon and Swift following them close behind. The group all got the rest of the cameras and thermal cameras with them and began hooking them up around the house. Twilight and Sunset set up the cameras in the downstairs floor while Anon went upstairs to install a few extra cameras in the guest and Faded's room to get rid of any blindspots that he might have overlooked and then installed one of his night vision camera in, surprisingly, the closet. There was something about the closet that sent chills down his spine, but just can't quite put his finger on it. After everything was set up, Anon went downstairs with the rest of the group. He quickly realized that Spike was growling in his general direction, backing away, like he doesn't want to get hurt. Anon froze and looked behind his back and noticed that the door to the closet had slightly moved. Anon turned to look at the girls and ran down the stairs and went to check the monitors. "Anon, what is it?" Sunset asks. "The closet door just moved. I think there might be something hidden inside it." Anon replied. "But that's impossible. There's nothing inside the closet except for the jackets and a thick wall." Swift says. "I'm not so sure if that's true. For all we know, there might be something inside there that we might have overlooked other than the ouija board we found. We might have to drill a whole through the wall and see if we're not just imagining things." Twilight implies. "What?! You're crazy if you think I'd let you wreck my house like that!" "Swift, which is more important: the house or the lives of your sister and your friend?" Sunset asks. Swift Blade was well aware that she made a good point and sighed. "Fine, but just don't tear the whole house down, okay?" Swift goes into the kitchen and opens up one the cabinet under the sink and pulls out a power drill. He gives it to Sunset and sits down on the couch. "Okay, let's go. Swift, I want you to watch over the monitors and if you spot anything out of the ordinary, give us a shout with this." Anon hands Swift a walkie-talkie. Swift nods and keeps watch over the monitors while the group and Spike walk up the stairs to the closet. Anon and the others felt the air around them get heavier and heavier as they got closer and closer to the closet. Once inside, Sunset tapped the wall with her finger a few times in different parts of the wall. Each of them sounded thick and perfectly closed off. But when she tapped the lower middle part of the wall, it made a strange sound, like there was nothing reinforcing it. She tapped it a few more times and got the same result before turning around to look at Twilight. "It's hollow here." Sunset says. "Then we'd better see what's on the other side." Twilight implies. "I... I don't know guys, I'm getting kinda scared. Something's not right!" Spike says. "Spike, it's the only option we have left. We have to consider every single possibility if we're gonna get the girls back, but if you don't want to do this, then you're more than welcome to stay downstairs with Swift and wait for us until we get back." Anon says. Immediately, Spike took up the offer and ran down the stairs and straight into the living room, jumping onto the couch next to Swift Blade. "At least Spike won't get hurt now." Twilight said. Sunset turned on the power drill and pressed against the hollow area in the wall, drilling a hole through it. But the hole she drilled had gotten bigger than she had anticipated it to be. The hole turned out to be big enough for a full-grown person to crawl through. Sunset went ahead and crawled through it, followed by Twilight and then Anon. On the other side of the hole was a staircase that most likely lead to a hidden basement. The staircase leading down to the basement was pitched black, aside from the light in the 2nd floor. Twilight, Sunset and Anon then used their phones to shine some light inside the darkness of the room. Inside the basement, large boxes were scattered everywhere, leaving only a narrow path to the other side. The air around them was getting thicker. It was difficult to breathe and it felt like the entire basement room was closing in on the team But nonetheless, the group kept on walking down the narrow path, ignoring the pressure of whatever was trying to keep them out of there. Shortly after reaching the other side of the dark basement, the area around them had grown cold. It wasn't a natural type of cold chill. It was a lot colder than that. So cold, they could see their breaths. "You feel that chill, don't you?" Twilight asks. "Definitely." Sunset replied. "Keep your guards up. This might be where the girls are hiding. Whatever you do, you can't allow this thing to scare you or it'll feed off your negative energy." Anon warned quietly. The girls nod and continue on with the search for the girls. Just in case they overlook anything, they checked inside some of the boxes that were big enough to hide a little girl and a full grown young woman. But so far, they found no trace of the girls and yet they refused to give up on their search when they're so close. But then, Anon almost trips over something and leans against the wall to stop himself from colliding with the cold hard floor below, catching his breath. Anon checked what made him trip. It was some sort of handle in the floor and somehow, it gave him the idea that there might be something more to it. "Psst! Girls, come over here, I think I might have found out something over here." he whispers. Twilight and Sunset speed walked over to Anon all curious about what he was going on about. Anon kneeled down and put his hand on the handle that was somehow nailed to the floor. He pulls it up and discovers that it was a trap door, leading to some hidden room where there was a faded light. "Looks like the previous owner must have had a secret room that was sealed off for some reason either by his own will or against his will by order of somebody who sold this house. Whoever did it, they must have had a good reason for sealing the whole place up." Twilight whispers. "I think you're right, Twilight. Listen, you girls are free to come along. If not, it's alright, I'll go in on my own and find out what's down there." Anon says. "No way. We're sticking by each other's side no matter what the cost." Sunset says confidentally. "Alright, but stay close." Anon implies. He slowly descends down the steps into the hidden room, holding his phone in front of him and pointing it in the direction of where he was walking. The light from his phone had shown something disturbing on the walls. Each of the walls had not only cobwebs but also showed what looked like human bones, some giving off the putrid smell of death. Sunset plugged her nose, trying to ignore the smell of death. Twilight was affected by it the most and let out a cough of disgust and almost felt like puking. Sunset stopped and got close to Twilight. "Hey, it's alright. Just try not to think about it too much, Twilight." she whispers to her friend. Twilight nods and keeps on walking forward with Sunset holding her hand. They both catch up quickly with Anon and then slow down to his pace, still having the lights on their phones shine what's in front of them. Finally, they reached the end of the room where these dull and worn down curtains block their view. In a swift motion, Anon moves the curtains out of the way and sees two figures standing in front of him. One of them looked a bit short and the other was tall. Anon proceeded cautiously until he was within range to tap them both on the shoulders, having both figures turn around very quickly. To his shock, it was the missing girls: Dusky Novel and Swift's little sister, Faded Moon. But the other thing that also shocked Anon was that fact that their eyes were both pitched black, like they were possessed. "Dusky, Faded. You gotta come back! Swift's worried about you two." Anon says. "It's too late. He's ready to take us to the promised land." Dusky says in a creepy, demonic voice. "You can't do anything to stop him. He will rip out your soul and drag you to hell." Faded added in the same kind of creepy, demonic voice. "Shut your trap, demon. I was talking to the girls, not you!" Anon scolded the demon. Anon pulled his holy water out of his pocket and sprinkled it on the girls. Both Dusky and Faded let out ear splitting screeches, and a huge puff of black smoke shoots out of their bodies and into the ceiling. "Sunset, Twilight, come on! We gotta get them upstairs, I wasn't able to destroy the demon. It'll only be stunned for a minute!" Twilight and Sunset rushed over to Faded and Dusky and guided them out of the hidden room with Anon close behind the both of them. Never once did he look back and followed the girls up the stairs and out of the hidden room before slamming the trap door and went up the staircase into the 2nd floor of the house. Once they reached the 2nd floor, Twilight and Sunset carried the girls downstairs into the living room. Anon followed them downstairs and stopped as soon as he reached the couch. Swift gasped and hugged his friend and little sister, thankful that they were still alive. Anon was completely exhausted from the whole run, no thanks to the pressure the demon put on him. He panted heavily, coughing violently, covering his mouth. Sunset went up to him and patted him on the back, easing his breathing. Once he was able to breathe steadily, he got his phone out and started dialing numbers. "Anon, what are you doing?" Twilight asks. "It's now or never. If we don't tell Thunder Rider about the demon that's haunting this place, the girls might not be found ever again. But if they are found... they'll be dead!" Anon explains. Dusky and Faded were shaking in fear. Swift then remembered about the ouija board and addressed it to them in a very strict manner. "Girls... care to explain what you were doing with... this?!" Swift shows them the ouija board, but Faded Moon looked away, about to cry. "Why would play with this thing?" "I thought it would be fun." Faded Moon replied, not making eye contact. "Fun? FUN?!" Swift snapped, scaring his sister and making her bury her face into Dusky. "Do you think it's fun that a demon was summoned into this house?" "I-I'm sorry, I didn't know!" Faded Moon almost sounded choked up. "Swift, stop it! I was the one who brought the board here and it was my fault for getting her involved! If you want to be mad at someone, be mad at me!" Dusky replies. "It was a big mistake to bring it here, I admit, and if it will make a difference, I'll burn the damn thing." "No, that won't be enough. It'll just reappear like it never happened. The ouija board is linked to the demon that's lurking in this house. We have to have Thunder Rider perform the blessing and possibly an excorcism to prevent anymore demons from ever coming into this house again." Twilight says. "It's done." Anon says, getting everyone's attention. "Thunder Rider will be here soon. In the meantime, we should keep an eye on the girls until he arrives. We can't risk the girls letting them out of our sights or that thing'll take them again like it did last time." "Right." everyone agreed. Author's Note I apologize for the long wait, but here is the next chapter. If there are any problems with it, feel free to let me know in the comment section below and I'll do all that I can to fix it in the next chapter, but thank you for your patience and support, take care and brony on Where Demons Dwell (Part 3)Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter.Checking Into The 666 Inn (Part 1)Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. We Have A Guest (Part 2)The investigation for the hostile entity inside still went on strong. Crimson held Fluffy in his arms and had her head buried in his chest. He wasn't going to let whatever was in the house take away his fiance, even if he has to fight the hostile entity all by himself. Anon was still watching over the monitors for any suspicious movements while Twilight left to talk to the local Canterlot City Historian. Sunset stayed with everyone else and watched over Spike until Twilight would come back. As the investigation went on, Crimson noticed something was sticking out of Anon's right pocket. "Hey, whatcha got in there?" Crimson asks. Anon turned to Crimson and pulled out a bottle of holy water and what appears to be a cross. "You sure that'll work?" "The chances of warding off a hostile spirit or a demon is close to maybe 30%. No, actually it's a lot closer to 20% at the most, I believe. But sometimes when you do end up successfully driving them out, you have to pay the price mentally and sometimes physically. Don't believe me? Well, these'll probably come as a complete shock to you once you've seen them." Anon lifted up the right hand side of his shirt and revealed nasty claw mark scars near his right rib cage. Crimson became shocked from the sight. "Damn, so you're telling me that in the process of excercising a demon, the damn thing scratched you so deep that it ended up leaving you with 3 nasty scars?" Crimson asks. "Yup. You'd be surprised to know that I ended up exercising a demon and prevent it from taking this family's beloved 6 year old son. The kid kept talking about playing with his imaginary friends." "Okay, so what was your reason for starting this paranormal society if you're just gonna end up putting your life in danger and end up getting hurt? You've still got a whole life ahead of you and plenty of possibility's and maybe a less riskier career to pursue." "Because there's only a few people who understand what's going on and I'm one of them. Also, skeptics are a real pain in the ass when they can't open their damn eyes and ears. As far as careers go, this is the only one that actually makes sense to me. Not a lot of people chose to become paranormal investigators mostly because they don't believe in ghosts while others who do believe are scared for their lives." "It might sound crazy, but he's not kidding. When we first started out as paranormal investigation group, we didn't get that many clients. We had to find some decent side jobs in order to keep a roof over our heads and put bread on the table, so it was a bit of a struggle. But later, with time, we managed to have our name spread across the city and now we're all doing perfectly fine." Sunset explains. Crimson was surprised by how much effort the gang put into this unusual career, but at the same time, he's glad they did form the group. The conversation seemed to calm Agent Fluffy down a little bit, but she still felt a little bit scared and held onto her fiance tightly. Just then, Sunset's cell phone rang, making Spike jump and turn to face Sunset. She looks at her phone, but the phone says Unknown Number. She decides not to answer it an hangs up. But it rang again with the same unknown number and she hangs up again. It kept ringing and she got agitated so she decided to answer it and give the caller a good scolding or two. "Listen, whoever the hell you are, stop calling me and find someone else to prank!" she says. On the other end of the phone, she didn't hear anything. She checked to see if she was still on the line. She was, but then her phone just went to speaker phone all by itself. Just then, a voice spoke from the other end. "...geeeet....ooouuuut....noooow...." said the voice. Her phone then hangs up automatically and she got a really scared look on her face. The phone rings again and she let out a scream. She pants and reads the ID, this time, it was Twilight trying to get in touch with her. Sunset answers. "Twilight? What is it?" "I finished my research on the former owner of the house and how he died. I want you to listen very carefully and don't let Crimson and Fluffy out of your sight!" Twilight says on the other end. "They're here with us right now, but please hurry! That ghost that pushed Anon out of the bedroom used my phone to try to scare us out!" "Okay, just hang on and I'll be back soon!" Twilight hangs up on the other line just before Sunset. Spike climbs onto Sunset's lap with concern in his eyes. "Sunset? We're all gonna be okay, right?" Spike asks. "I... I'm not sure, Spike. I'm just not sure." Sunset answers truthfully. Spike begins to whimper and buries his face into his paws in fear. Sunset places him on her lap and gave him a few gentle pets on his head, which seemed to calm him down a little bit. "What did we ever do to deserve this? I'm so scared!" Fluffy says. She begins to shake, but Crimson rocks her back and forth to comfort her. "Shhhh, it's alright. I'm here for you, babe." Crimson says. Anon still wasn't sure if they were all going to be okay. But then, he got an idea on what might have caused all of this to happen in the first place. He turns his head to the scared couple. "Crimson, let me ask you something." Anon says. "What is it?" Crimson asks, looking at Anon. "Was there ever a time when the ghost tried to hurt you or somthing?" "No, it's only been attacking Fluffy. I just don't know why." "What did I ever do to deserve this?" Fluffy whimpers into her fiance's shoulder. "Okay then, was there any chance the two of you might have done something to let the spirit into your house, like a seance or using ouija board?" Anon asks again. "No, I never mess with stuff like that. Even if I wanted to, I couldn't!" Crimson replies. "Alright, good. I just wanted to know. I only asked because practicing stuff like that'll open a doorway to the other side and usually, it brings out dark entities like demons. And if it is a demon, than it would make sense that it attaches itself to the people who summoned it. However, since you say you didn't do it, my guess is the past resident of this home might have attached itself to Fluffy." "Oh, god!" Fluffy says, shivering. "Calm down. Just don't panic too much and let us handle the situation. You two just stick together and do whatever you guys do on a regular day." Fluffy couldn't do anything, other than bury herelf into Crimson's shoulder. Crimson just stroked her hair, rocking her left and right, shushing her gently. That was the only thing they could do right not and Anon just let them be while he watched over the monitors. A few moments at around 8 later on in the evening there was a knock on the door. Everyone turned to the front door, as well as Fluffy. Anon got out of his seat and opened it, revealing Twilight. "Hi, Anon." Twilight says. "Hi, Twilight. Come on in and let us know what you found." Anon says. Twilight nods and walks inside before Anon closes the door and locks it. Everyone all sat down on the couch, waiting for the news on what Twilight found out. She lets out a sigh and says "Okay, I had to do a lot of researching, but I finally found out something horrific about this house. It was once owned by a man who goes by the name of Pitched Black, who apparently died in this house." Hearing the name made Crimson's eyes shrink and grit his teeth at the same time. "That bastard still hasn't learned a thing, even in death!" he says. "What do you mean, Crimson?" Sunset asks. "Pitched Black... is my father!" he replies. "Your father? Tell us, what was he like?" Anon asks. "Well, he was certainly one of a kind, I'll give him that. But when I told him about this girl I fell in love with, he just flipped out and said stuff like "women are trouble," and "she's using you!" I had heard of a dad being overprotective of their kids, but it's rare for a dad to be overprotective of his own full-grown son. It's like he didn't even want me anywhere near Fluffy. It got to the point where he threatened to get rid of her himself if I didn't break things off with her, but I didn't listen and flipped out on him." "You lashed out at him?" "Hell yeah I did. No one threatens my babe like that and gets away with it! I cut all connections with him and made sure that all of my friends and family watch out for him. I guess he got the message for a while, but I never thought he'd attach himself to this house." "There are some cases when spirits with grudges refuse to cross over and move on until they've settled the score with whatever it is they want." Anon explains, "In this case, Pitched Black might be coming for Fluffy and he's not going to stop until she's out of here." "What are we suppose to do, bless the house?" Spike asks. "That's like poking a bear with a stick." Sunset says. "We'll have to try a different approach. First of all, Spike, you and I will walk around the house and spread this holy water on every square inch to keep the ghost from taking cover from us. If he tries to sneak up and attack us, then I want you, Anon to counter him with that thing you keep in your pocket." Twilight says. "Wait, what thing?" Crimson asks Anon. Anon reaches into his pocket and pulls out this weird object. "She means this." Anon shows Crimson some sort of hand-held object and he was confused. "I'll keep it short and brief, it's called a vajra. I use it to make spirits back off by chanting a language not known to a lot of people here in Canterlot City." "Umm.....okay? I have no idea how it's gonna help, but I'll leave it up to you guys." Crimson says. "As for you, Sunset. I need you to stay here and watch over the monitors to see if the activity in the rooms are changing, and if they are, let us know which room!" Twilight orders. "Got it. Just be careful. There's no telling what this Pitched Black guy might do." Sunset implies. The group nods and get off the couch, minus Sunset. Twilight follows Spike around the house as he sniffs up any kind of trace of the spirit lurking in the house. He stops dead in his tracks, growling at the bathroom over on the left hand side. It was enough for Twilight and Anon to know that it was where Pitched Black's spirit was hidng, so she went in and spread holy water everywhere inside it. "Let no evil linger on in this house! Let no harm come to the people who live here!" Twilight says. She kept repeating her lines until the bathroom was now cleansed. She felt a heavy feeling leave the bathroom and run into a different hiding place in the house. Spike growled and followed it into the kitchen. Spike kept barking and growling, wanting the hostile spirit to get out of the house. The lights in the house began to flicker on and off. Fluffy and Crimson looked up at the lights and held each other in their arms, waiting for the hauntings to end. Twilight and Anon went into the kitchen where Twilight once again sprayed holy water on every squar inch of the kitchen. But then all of a sudden, Anon felt a jolt of pain rushing to his head and he kneels down gripping his forehead, grunting. "Damn it! Not again!" Anon says to himself. "Don't get in my way! Do so and I'll kill you!" said a gargled voice. Anon could tell that it was Pitched Black warning him not to mess with him. Anon ignores the warning and talks back at Pitched. 'You call yourself a father? You're pathetic! Only a bastard like you would threaten your own son's happiness and if you can't accept that your son is moving on, then I'll send you straight to hell!' Anon says with his mind, sounding more threatening than Pitched. His headache goes away, but not before he hears a faint growl. He stands back up and sees that Twilight was staring at him, worried about him. "Are you alright? What happened?!" she asks, worried. "Just a friendly chat with the so-called "father of the hour." There's no time to worry about me right now. Sunset, where is the activity occuring at right now?" Anon asks. "It's... It's over in the master bedroom! I've got some readings from the thermal cameras, too! The temperature seems to have dropped and it's getting colder and colder!" Sunset sounds alarmed. "What?!" Anon asks. Before he got a reply, he made a dash over to the master bedroom. But at the entrance, he could clearly see a man in a dark gray jacket and white shirt. His shoulders were dropped down and his arms were hanging loose. His eyes were like two black bottomless pits and had this nasty scowl on his face and had the lower part of his legs covered in a black mass. Spike ran up to Anon and saw the spirit and whimpered. He backed up and ran back to Twilight, hiding behind her legs with his ears drooped down. "Twilight... I'm going in." Anon says. Twilight could see the spirit herself and got a really bad feeling about it. "Anon, I don't think you should do this alone, but just promise me you won't get hurt. You keep him distracted and I'll spray the living with the holy water. Spike, you'll be safe with me." "Oh thank god!" Spike says in relief. Twilight leans down and holds Spike in her arms while she starts spraying holy water around the living room. Anon takes this time to approach the spirit at the entrance to the master bedroom, but the closer he got, the denser the air got. It felt like he was being weighed down by the spirit and felt a sickening feeling inside him. He brushed off the feeling and got took his vajra and showed it to the angry spirit. It didn't like it an snarled at Anon, trying to push him away. Anon resisted and started chanting... "On kirikiri bazara bajiri horamanda manda un hatta! On amiritodo hanba un hatta! On biso hora dara kisha bazara hanjyara un hatta! On asanmagiri un hatta! On shau gya rei makasan maen sowaka!" The hostile spirit seemed to have gotten pushed back and ended up disappearing into the master bedroom, but at the same time, Anon got winded and leaned against the wall, panting. That was a big mistake and soon felt something grab his throat and pinned him up against the wall. He started choking and tried to do another chant, but the ghost's grip was just way too strong. Anon felt like he was going to pass out and in an instant, he saw the face of the ghost smiling deviously at him, enjoying his pain. Fluffy screamed out loud at the horrifying scene she saw. Twilight rushed over to help Anon, but was forced against the wall like Anon was. She lost her grip on the holy water and struggled to break free. She could hear the ghost laughing at the two of them, knowing he's won. Or so he thought. When all seemed lost, Crimson ran up and grabbed the bottle of holy water and aimed it at his father's evil ghost. He glared at him and sprinkled him with holy water. His father's dead ghost let out a screech of pain and loosened his grip on Anon and Twilight. They both gasped for air, grasping their throats and watched as Crimson told off his dead dad. "This is the last time you're going to bug us, dad! First you targeted my beautiful fiance by scratching and scaring her and now you harm these good people here in my home? We'll I'm fed up and sick of all of this bullcrap you put my friends and family through." Crimson shouted. His father's spirit growled at him, but it didn't do anything to him, other than cause Crimson to move towards him. He then reached into Anon's other pocket and pulled out a cross and the holy water Twilight dropped. "I didn't want this to happen, dad, but you left me no choice! Purgatory is over, and YOU go to hell!" Crimson sprinkled the holy water at his father's spirit and pointed the cross at him simultaneously. The pain was too much for the spirit and let out an ear-splitting screech and became a huge black mass before a small like emerged from the center of the black mass and disappeared bit by bit. The lights in the house stopped flickering and the house was fully lit. Anon and the girls were surprised at how Crimson stepped in and saved them all. "I can't believe it! He did it!" Twilight says. "Anon, can you feel it? The air doesn't feel thick anymore!" Sunset calls out. "Yeah, I feel it. You did it, Crimson. The ghost is gone now. You're safe now." Anon confirms. He and Twilight help each other back up on each other's feet. Fluffy jumped from the couch and ran towards Crimson and wrapped her arms around him. She wasn't scared anymore and felt so happy to the point where she cried tears of joy now that the nightmare was finally over for them. "What do we do now?" Twilight asks. "We wait until the shock wears off and then we pack up our stuff and head home." Anon implies. "Got it. This really shook me up." "That makes all 3 of us." Sunset says. "Make that four." Spike says, walking next to Twilight. The group just gave out a slight chuckle and sat themselves on the couch to recover from the whole experience. Minutes later, Twilight, Sunset and Anon all packed their things into the van while the young couple, Crimson and Fluffy just watched as they were getting ready to go. It just didn't feel right for both of them to let them leave with those bruises, but Twilight and Sunset would keep on insisting that it was all part of their job to do as much as they could to help them out. Nevertheless, Crimson insisted on giving them some cash just so they could at least put bread on their table and heal some of their wounds. Anon was against this sort of thing, but because Crimson kept insisting, he offered the couple his thanks before the gang hopped in the van and drove back to their house. Meanwhile, Fluffy and Crimson had a little catching up to do and smiled at each other, walking back into their house and closing the door.
We Have A Guest (Part 1)Author's Note Okay, I'm not exactly sure if this is a good story so far, so I hope you all like my very first horror story and if you do, then I'm glad, but if I did anything wrong, feel free to leave a comment below and thank you all so much for your support, keep on bronying on.

Where Demons Dwell (Part 2)Swift and Anon had checked every square inch of the house trying to find Dusky Novel, but the two could find no trace of the poor young lady. Checking Into The 666 Inn (Part 1)Something has gone wrong.
