Rainbow Dash elicits the aid of Vinyl Scratch to create a unique technology: a song that has the power to enthrall any who hears it, making them docile and obedient to the owner's every whim.

Vinyl succeeds in creating it, but she will need to test it first. Unknown to Octavia, she will soon find herself as Vinyl's experiment.
