1: Invitation to Royal Wedding
Ponyville Library early morning, Pinkie, Twilight, and Spike have been living under the same roof. It's been sometime 12:30 local time when Pinkie barged in the library tree house.
"Good news everypony, we've sealed the deal at Applewood! And we got a new title for it. it's called My Little Kingdom For The Pony: Diplomacy Is Magic. , The Franchise is not strong enough for the movie yet. But I started working on it, and they've been saying that if everything is going to be okay, they might consider it."
"That's great Pinkie, what the catch?" asked Twilight.
"The catch is that they don't know what to do. I mean the times have become edgier, and media standards have changed. Expect the unexpected, that's is the new game."
"U huh, well what do you want me to do about it?" Twilight already became disinterested, honestly, this wasn't her concern.
"How about this?" Pinkie Pie threw the letter to the Twilight's table.
"What is this!" Twilight took a glance at it "Oh you son of a bitch!"
"Language!"
"Applejack when did you get in here!" Twilight acted surprised at the sudden appearance of the apple pony.
"Since the morning, I was doing the research to improve apple bucking business model. You know just because everyone thinks I belong to the hillbilly stereotype, it doesn't mean I am not educated."
Rainbow Dash snickered, "you said bucking."
"Oh, don't you even start."
"Actually Rainbow has a legitimate concern, why do you insist on kicking the trees to harvest the apples? There is only so much abuse the fruit like apples are willing to take," Twilight threw the letter in the trash.
"It's been a tradition to do so for many many years, and most of it is just being stubborn. So anyway before we stray from the main topic, what was In that letter Twilight.
"I don't really want to talk about it, but since the issue is going to be public knowledge pretty soon, so with that I pretty much can tell you myself."
"Your older brother is making a political marriage to the Princess MI Amore Cadenza, which has been publicly recognized by the High Princess Celestia and High Princess Luna, but you yourself disapprove of this silly tradition? "
"That pretty much sums it up, and well some traditions are pretty stupid and regress a progress." Twilight put the paperwork down on the table. "But there is nothing I can do about it. Pinkie, if they want their reality show to be an edgy one I might be able to provide a solution and create a revolution in the process. Or if not we would still be heroes."
"Sure thing Twilight, I'll just go and call them to set up a camera crew in Canterlot Castle."
"I'll pretend like we didn't just hear you talking about overthrowing the government," Rainbow Dash has been reading latest Daring Do book.
"Yeah!" Twilight giggled nervously, "hahaha! You are so funny Rainbow Dash me overthrowing the government, hahaha."
"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up I don't really care as long as I get my books."
"Aren't you worried, that this is kind of a bribery." Applejack went to another shelf of the library.
"Bribery to whom? I don't even belong to the Canterlot's Department, therefore this is outside of my jurisdiction of the action, and before you ask I am not telling you my secrets." Rainbow Dash kept looking at the book.
"Pff, half of us already knows about it, so why don't you just..."
"I said no, and that's final!" Rainbow cut Applejack off, with that finishing off their arguments.
Twilight Sparkle has been standing at the entrance of the Changelings hive, she came there because she had a business to attend. it just so happens that the hive located in the Canterlot's caves. Those caves have been used for mining of crystal, but since the caves have become government property and therefore came under the natural resources protection act that forbids mining industries in all or nearby major Equestrian cities...
Pinkie Pie came to the black room and kicked the exposition machine "Uhh, that's better! Now we can continue to the main event."
"So what is it you want our dearest benefactor," the self-proclaimed Queen Chrysalis, former Administrator Unit of a Changelings Automata have been patiently waiting for her uninvited guest to speak up.
"Call it a little favor, you scratch my back I'll scratch yours!" Twilight Sparkle has been standing right in between the two changeling guard units.
"A favor huh, what do I get out of it?"
"The opportunity to kick Celestia's flunk?" Twilight offered with her innocent smile.
"Oh, I think I like you my little pony, how should I put this, I can smell ambition from you, miss Ambassador. Now then why don't you tell me your devious plan."
Twilight smiled and then started to whisper right into the Chrysalis's ear, "Well it goes like this, *whisper, * whisper, *whisper, *whisper."
"I didn't expect you to be so evil Twilight," Rarity has been having a bi-weekly tea with Twilight. "Do you still prefer your tea with honey?"
"Evil, who me? I am just misbehaving. Why Is it everypony expects you to be the one to be so cold and manipulative? We both know you are one of the nicest ponies around in the Royal Court of Canterlot, and yes my taste in tea didn't change." Twilight accepted a cup of tea in her telekinetic hold. "Also I made a promise to Pinkie."
"Uh, that's reality show of hers? Who is the producer anyway?"
"High Princess Celestia sponsoring it herself. She said she likes the idea of irresponsible Princess sending a ragtag bunch of misfits to save the kingdom from the ruin, and High Princess Luna finds the whole idea amusing."
"So it's an action show then?"
"You could say that." Twilight looked a bit bored "Tell me in which Department does Rainbow Dash belong?"
"Why the sudden curiosity?" Rarity narrowed her eyes.
"I've searched every single bureaucratic record I could think of, and I never saw anything about her, it's like she doesn't even exist, "Twilight laid back on the chair. "She doesn't answer to the Cloudsdale Independent Republic, she doesn't answer to the Canterlot Royal District, Mayor Mare has been extremely vague about what happened during the incident several years ago. So I ask again, to which Department does Rainbow Dash answers to. "
Rarity sighed "I was hoping I could just keep it for at least a year, but you will soon find out about this anyway."
"What exactly I will find out?"
"Empire!" Rarity uttered a single word.
"Excuse me!" Twilight's boredom evaporated.
"Empire!" Rarity looked at Twilight with a bit of curiosity "The reason Rainbow Dash doesn't answer to any known Departments is that she answers directly to the authority of the Empire, the Empire which will soon return."
"And you just telling me this?"
"I don't see why not? Besides like I said you will find out about this anyway in about a year or so, or how Pinkie Pie likes to put it in the next season."
"What will happen next year?"
"Big changes, Twilight, big changes! Now if you excuse me I think this is enough tea for me." With that Rarity winked out from the Boutique.
Twilight shrugged and took the cookies, "chocolate chip my favorite."
Author's Note
Me and Pinkie Pie are switching up the events a bit, so yeah the Canterlot wedding is happening first, and then Discord. So yeah this is the idea I've been having for a while now. Equestrian Kingdoms divided into several departments or districts if you will.
09/14 Got my hands on a free Chrome Grammarly, it helped me to squash at least 14 grammar errors, thankfully it's going to be better from this point on.
Chaos at the Royal Wedding
Canterlot Castle, next day.
Twilight Sparkle went to the Canterlot Castle that day. The camera crew is going to arrive soon, and that means that she needed to do some work to smooth everything out. She also needs to insert a special guest who is going to replace the bride for a while.
"Are you sure that all of this is necessary?" Princess Cadence and Shining Armor have been looking at the contract, a document about ten pages long.
"Unfortunately yes, as much as I want to do It without it, this document will indicate that everything that she will do, while using your disguise is with your consent and permission." Twilight gestured at Queen Chrysalis.
"Whats up?" Queen Chrysalis greeted two newlyweds.
"So anyway, because of that I also need my brother consent too! So to summarize what you are signing is..." Twilight put a quill pen to her chin thoughtfully "Complete deniability package, a secrecy package, permission use of force package, the clone army mobilization package, contingency orders 1- 150 package, and well everything else packages."
"A clone army what now package?" Shining Armor had been a bit confused.
"I am glad you asked, older brother, this is part of the new side project I've been running, you see some time ago Pinkie Pie approached to me with an idea of cloning herself using magic. I tried to tell her that the idea is dubious at best, but she assured me that it's real. After that, I run the idea through the military, and they loved it. They say it's somehow better than the use of golems and it will eventually outsource the recruitment and the training of civilians. Think of this whole thing as a test," Twilight finished explaining. "So I need you to sign here, and then here, and perfect!"
Twilight then put all of the documents away, and then took a small orb. "Well this is a small portable camera, and for this segment, I would be filming it. Cadence why don't you start first? Think of this like a small interview commentary. Like, Queen Chrysalis is going to attack you and replace you with herself. It would be the best if you act natural, I mean the more the better!" Twilight then lit the room with somewhat dark colors. "For this, I would just need only Cadence and two changeling guards. You know what? it would be better if we go directly to the crystal caves, no okay, I guess we could just do it here."
"Do I just wait for this to...Um, okay, so when Queen Chrysalis, a nice lady, by the way, approached me with such a crazy proposition of... I believe her exact words were Submit or else! At first, I was like really insulted, and then two changeling drones swooped in and knocked me out."
Princess Cadence was sitting in the chair tied up to it, behind her was two changeling guards. "Um, can I get some water?" she addressed them. Changelings looked at each other and then shrugged. The one on the right brought a glass of water to her. "Anyway, where was I? Oh right, it's kind of really embarrassing, but I don't really have any self-defense training, so um, I was kind of caught off guard and... " Cadence trailed off for a second "I really hope that nothing bad would happen to Shining. "She then again looked at her two guards. "How long do you think I will be here?" She then received another shrug symbolizing I don't know, stop asking unnecessary questions.
The camera made small noise signaling that its stopped recording telling Cadence that it's no longer recording. "Okay, perfect, the viewers will love a princess in a distress. Now I just need Chrysalis and Shining Armor to say something." Twilight was more than happy about it.
"Okay, I guess it's my turn then," this time Queen Chrysalis had been moving across the corridor and the camera had been levitating tracking her every movement. Camera biped signaling that it was active again. Chrysalis visibly relaxed and then started. "I am not sure If I should call this as my personal blog but here it goes. You can do this! You've practiced this for years and now all of the skills are going to pay off. Oh who am I kidding, I am so nervous right now. You know, my father always said. Chryssalis, someday you are going to be thankful for an opportunity to go to acting school! And my mother... Well, I don't really want to talk about my mother. Today is my special day, and my only chance to shine. At first, I was like why would I even need it, I didn't even want to be a princess of the hive. I mean when we were kids, all of the little lings are either wanted to be a princess, if they are girls, and the boys always will be boys, am I right?"
Chrysalis then looked straight at the camera, "To be fair being a princess completely sucks ass. The only good thing about it I suppose is that you are completely free to order other people around and they had to do everything you say." Chrysalis then facehooved herself, "Shit what I am doing? I better of disguise myself properly." With that Chrysalis shapeshifted into disguise and became a perfect copy of Princess Cadence. "Perfect, that candy cane pony princess had been useful to me after all!"
Camera buzzed again, and with that stopped recording once again "Was I too sappy? Do I need to be more aggressive? "
"Just be yourself! Trust me ponies will love it!" offered Twilight. "Eh, I think! I am no Pinkie Pie. I don't really know what are social trends these days."
"Do I really have to do it?" Shining Armor already started to feel that he already having second thoughts. "What do I even say?"
"Why of course! Just say something, like I don't know. I and Cadence always wanted to go to the restaurant, or something like that!"
Shining Armor sighted "Okay, let's just get it over with!" room changed background again "Wait is this my room?"
"Yep! This room had been specifically enchanted with an green screen charm , once again all thanks to Pinkie. I suggest you make yourself comfortable because the camera will start filming soon. Chrysalis would you be so kind to just do it and get it over it"
"Right! I'll make sure just to do that. Wait, what? What is it she is about to do?" Shining started to panic.
"Just relax, will you. You agreed to it." Chrysalis quickly zapped Shinning Armor with a suggestive spell. Shining's eyes glowed green "Okay, that's perfect!"
"I, well, I."
"Why exactly did I volunteer for this?" Twilight sighed, "Pinkie could have done it a lot easier."
"Because you are the only one who has unrestricted access to the castle." Chrysalis deadpanned.
"I won't call it completely unrestricted thought, I still can't go to the forbidden archives."
"Really, why even have that section in the first place? "
Recording in three, two, one..."
"It's been like what six or seven hours since I was, eh, brainwashed. I don't know, I think I lost count. Had been having headaches for a while now." Shining Armor said with a monotone voice. "Cadence had been acting a bit strange lately, but I guess I won't complain. Since you know," Shining Armor winked at the camera.
"Boss yelled at me again. Do I even have a boss?" I suppose I do I am still only a Captain. Does Equestria have Generals? I wish I was a General."
Twilight signaled Chrysalis to enter the screen. "I am so glad you waited for me, dear." Chrysalis entered while in Cadence form. "I just came back from a meeting with Princess Celestia." Yeah, in her nightmares. "Uh, is something wrong? You look pale and green.
"What? Oh, it's nothing Its just I think the stress finally getting to me and, I just..."
Camera buzzed again and the recording ended.
"What in tarnation was that? Twilight, that was outright terrible. Not even my entrance can fix that?."
"I, but what, but I just don't know what went wrong!"
"I'll tell you what went wrong, this!" Chrysalis pointed hoof at Shining Armor "He has overdosed on magic right now, and he won't come back to us until morning."
"I am sorry, alright! I'll go cut that footage out than. Buck! Why I even apologizing to you?" Twilight expressed her frustration.
"Because you feel guilty because of what just happened, and you wanted to say sorry!"
"I! You!" Twilight Sparkle had never been so frustrated as she was now. "You know what? It doesn't matter. I just go back to Ponyvile and go back to my library and forget this ever happened."
"Sounds good to me!" Chrysalis had been exhausted as well. All she wanted to do now is just go to bed and sleep.
Meanwhile somewhere out there in a secret room of the top secret reality show.
"Cut!!!!" yelled director. "Alright, that's it for today! We are going to continue to film tomorrow. This is what we've been looking for ponies acting in their most natural state. You have no idea how excited I am or the suits that's been breathing down my neck. Thank you very much, Ms. Pie!"
"Of course I am always happy to help!" Pinkie Pie politely hugged him. "Wait? I am confused. What are we doing again?"
"A reality show about ponies doing a reality show. Only this time they don't know they are in one. This is absolutely brilliant! You are ever since the creation of reality show genre, it became completely obvious of how scripted it was. But this, this is..."
"Absolutely brilliant! Yeah, I know."
"Exactly, my dear friend! I can't wait to see the final product!"
Pinkie Pie sighted, this is going to be a long day and the next day and then the next. What does she get herself into?
"Well, I'll better be going, if you don't mind."
"Of course! Of course!"
Ever since two years ago when High Princess Celestia retired and gave the throne to her sister High Princess Luna, she did have a lot of free time to spare. Of course she still offered her assistance from time to time, but still, even with that her day to day activities was less of the havoc then it was before.
Equestrian Kingdoms had been divided into too many districts, each of them had a certain level of autonomy to a degree. Luna liked it and openly encourage it, however, Celestia did not. Despite both sisters being roughly thousand years old, one sister had been more conservative than the other. Maybe that what Equestria needs right now a competent modern leader.
"Sister, how was your day today?"
"It's been alright I guess. I don't even know what to say. On second thought I need to unwind. You know..."
"Yeah!"
"I've been receiving strange reports all day, something about your student spending the time with a strange mare. Everypony who saw them together said that the mare had been visually vague. I just can't put my hoof on it. Where did I see her before?"
"I am sure that it Is nothing to worry about."
"But sister!"
"Well it's true, look while it's true that Twilight Sparkle is a lesbian, it's not my concern with whom she chooses to sleep with."
"What? I don't mean it like that, I just worry about national security, and. "
"That mare works for House of Sparkle. There must have been a reason why she needed it that's all there is to it, nothing more, nothing else. Now tell me what's really bothering you."
"You know the legend right, even before our time there was a city of crystals, At some point, there was some sort of disaster that made the city sink under the ice, although the legend was extremely vague about what exactly happened to it. I mean yeah it sunk, but nopony knows why it sunk."
"I am sure that such tragedy is well tragic, but we can't really do anything about that now."
"Yeah, I know. But sister! There had been strange reports coming from the North. Something about strange solar activity and arctic wolves started to get more active again, and a lot more aggressive than they normally would to ponies who live in that region."
"Unusually abnormal but once again it's probably nothing to worry about."
"I suppose, thanks, sister!"
"Anytime! I always happy to help you with anything you need, sister."

Chaos at the Royal Wedding
Canterlot Castle Twenty-four hours before the wedding.
Log #10100110: The following had been pieced together from various recorders of the camera crew.
"I don't know what her problem was but she acted like she never met me before, what a bitch. She and I were childhood friends, she was practically my babysitter." Twilight Sparkle sighed, "Who wrote this? This script is garbage!"
Chrysalis had been using a disguise, and a bunch of servants constantly have been going around and doing whatever she practically wanted. "Would you actually believe it, but here I am trying to be polite to her and she is trying to shove her flank right into my face. I mean like, do you have the concept of personal space.... Excuse me! You are in my way!"
"Do I even need to say it." Twilight Sparkle deadpanned. "So I was about to meet my brother, and check this out, there was some imbecile of the guard threw a spear at me! At me! I am the mother bucking Ambassador at Large, and the student of the bucking Princess Celestia. I hope he gets fired." Twilight huffed, "Can I get some water?"
Shining Armor was by the barracks he had been performing the inspection. "You know this wasn't half bad when I was originally thought it would be. I mean when my sister came, she was furious. I am not sure if she was furious about the wedding or the fact that the Canterlot was under the strict lockdown. You know what, now that you mention it I have no idea why did we put a pink bubble around it. Or, why are we doing this wedding in a time of crisis? Or, maybe having a public wedding was an extremely bad idea. It looks like I received a small memo. This is all part of the script! Don't read this part out loud. "
Rainbow Dash has been the happiest filly in front of the camera. "I can't believe this, we got an invitation to go to the royal wedding. Guys this is so rad. There is something they want me to do, check this out this scroll viral video of me breaking the sound barrier. I am awesome! So like they said that they want me to do an exact same thing but like come on I am going to be in a dress. Do I need to spell it out for you, D-R-E-S-S, Do those idiots even understand aerodynamics, bummer. Anyway, why is everypony is a nudist? I just don't get it."
Rarity had been sitting on the chair in front of the table outside of the local Canterlot's Caffe. "If you ask me, cakes that been sold here are absolutely fantastic. Now, where was I? Uh, yes, the wedding. I can tell you right now the bride was gorgeous and the broom. Did I say the broom, I mean the groom, silly of me? Well, they do have the broom too, Not that I am saying" Rarity sipped tea, "I have to say that our dear friend Twilight Sparkle has been on edge recently, although I can't really blame her, that guard was out of line."
Applejack had been in the royal kitchens, somehow ending up in charge of kitchen staff. "Guess what? Big Mac owes me fifty bits. He said I can't-do it. He said I can't be in charge of theirs frou-frou kitchen. Hey did I say that this goes over there? Oh yeah, Princess Cadence visited recently, I thought I'd give her some muffins, my own recipe, by the way, she said it was nice.
Queen Chrysalis had been standing in her room.
Jump back to Twilight Sparkle's location, "That bucking cunt, how dare she to threw Aj muffins. Or at least that's what I would like to say, but instead I kind of wondering myself, how in the hell did AJ end up in charge of the royal kitchens. Anyway, I think my brother started to act strangely. By complete accident, I ended up in their room and the things I've seen I wish I could've forgotten."
Chrysalis had been in the hall, just relaxing and enjoying her "Well what can I say, I am supposed to be the Princess of Love and I have a reputation to keep. There is another issue though, I am not sure how I am going to say this, but the original bridesmaids had to go. I mean I personally have no issue with them, it's just they need to go."
In the office of High Princess Celestia, Celestia had been sitting in the chair in front of the desk. "Well, it's been quite a painful couple of hours for everypony at this point. We did a rehearsal, and then Twilight came from downstairs and started to yell at Princess Cadence. Something about her being a spawn of Tirek, and like she is an ultimate evil. It's have been ... uh...is she really a spawn of Tirek? No, okay then! Well, if anyone is interested, I decided to write a book on a topic of why Equestrian Kingdoms doesn't have Queens. So like to make a long story short Equestria did have a King, it's just the title quickly became unpopular."
Canterlot, somewhere in the central plaza. Pinkie Pie has been spending time with Fluttershy. "Turns out that Twilight can't really hold her liquor, so she like took her first bottle of vodka, and then this where everything went off the rails. It could have been way worse, I don't know how but it just could. Anyway enough about the bad stuff, we are here to celebrate, isn't it right Fluttershy?"
"Uh, what? Sure, let's go with that." Fluttershy said absentmindedly, "Um, Pinkie Pie, are you aware that Princess Cadence isn't who she says she is. At first, I thought it was weird at first, but it's like something about her is not right!"
"Well, how would you know, it's not like you've met her before, or for that matter knew her personally."
"True, but still, she's a very famous person."
"Uh, Well I am sure that everything is going to be just fine."
"Is there something you forget to tell me?"
"Nuh, I am pretty sure I didn't."
"Pinkie!"
"Nope, nothing, nope!"
"Pinkamina Diane Pie, you will tell me right now everything that's going on!"
"Gotta go! Bye! Talk to Twilight about it" Pinkie Pie engaged the hyperspeed and run from Fluttershy's stare. Fluttershy sighted it would seem to be she would have to go to Twilight after all, and when the answers have been slipped from her grasp in the form of the pink pony. So then she went flying straight to the castle.
Twilight Sparkle had been trotting in the corridor, it took her some time to figure it out that she made a mistake, and now she wanted to find Chrysalis and apologize to her.
"Cadence is that you, I've been trying to find you I just want to apologize."
"Come on Sparkle, it's just only two of us here, you can stop pretending." Chrysalis had been standing on the stairs in the middle of the throne room.
"Right well, others don't know that, like I was saying I am trying to apologize."
"About that, I've been thinking, this whole idea sounds great and everything, but!"
"But?"
"It's not really personal, it's just things have changed you know. It's kind of like that, I want to stay as Princess Cadence forever and ever. I could even establish a safe haven for my drones, and well if I just go back to the way things were before, then I just lose the opportunity. I am sure someday you will understand!"
"Chrysalis you stupid bucking bitch, don't you bucking dare to betray me. I swear, if you do this, I will end you."
Chrysalis laughed and zapped Twilight with green magic. "That's Queen Chrysalis for you, my dear Ambassador."
"Buck you, you bucking bitch!" with that Twilight got absorbed into the floor.
"She got you too, didn't she?" real Cadence had been standing on the floor o the crystal caves two hundred feet below Canterlot. "Well, I think we can both spend the night here, and then I guess the next day after that, and I suppose we might as well spend an eternity here too."
"Don't give up, we are going to get out of here! Listen I didn't create that clone army and those orders for nothing. When we are going to get out of here Chrysalis is going to pay for her betrayal."
"Um, Twilight I've been wondering, what are we using as units of measurement?"
"Really Cadence, do you had to ask this question now!"
"Okay, fine! I'll rephrase that! How exactly are we going to get out of here! because I don't really see it."
"With this!" Twilight just pulled a dozen blades from her pocket dimension, "Come on let's go we are going to kick her flunk!"
"I thought you are a diplomat, Twilight?"
"Yep, I am! I do however prefer using agressive negotiations. It works a little bit like that." Twilight took a deep breath, "Out of my way, you idiots." At the same time, two blades flew in the direction of two Changelings who rushed away in a hurry.
"Should we stop them?" one of them asked another.
"What are you insane, we don't get paid enough for this, just sent three guards to intercept them, and I don't know just get distracted by the bouquet of flowers."
Meanwhile, Fluttershy had been already in the castle, and she heard the whole thing. "I've got to warn the girls, this is a bit out of my hooves." She then found a nearby window opened and flew out of the castle.
"Do we just go and ride those very old mining carts?"
"I am not really sure, with a dubious angle that they have been constructed, and then there is the fact that they are gravity based." Twilight had been inspecting the rusted, probably centuries old mining cart.
"Gravity based? Wait, there is another kind?"
"Yes! For example, the new model is a hovering platform with a heavy load modifications. The movement isn't restricted and it can fly in all three directions. With those thoughts, not even I know where exactly we ended up. I suggest we use emergency wink spell if necessary."
"But if this is the case, why can't we use wink spell right now."
"Because we would need to use way too much energy, the energy that I don't even have, so I have to use you as the magical battery. And then we would need a beacon location to where we want to go. Fine! Let's just do it, I think I am going to owe Rainbow Dash a favor for this stunt."
"Okay!" Cadence wasn't completely sure what Rainbow Dash has to do with all of this.
Twilight then took out a chalk and then started to draw a pentagram "I think this should do, I just don't want to use my own blood as a catalysis. Cadence please stand in the center of it." Cadence nodded and then stood inside the circle. Twilight then set up four lightning rods and then attached four cables to Cadence.
"Um, Twilight?" Cadence started to say when Twilight finished the final preparations.
"I am sorry Cadence, but this is how it works. I didn't design the Mage Accelerator System" She then went to the box with the switch, as if to prepare to flip it. " Okay, are you ready?" Cadence again nodded, and then Twilight flipped the switch. Almost instantly the pulse of magic went from Cadence and then to the all four rods simultaneously, after that it slowly started to rotate faster and faster. After that, it was spinning in an almost complete blur. Ten seconds later, and two ponies disappeared after the bright flash of light illuminated the cave system.
Twilight and Cadence materialized in the small room. "Twilight, what is this place?"
"It's something I could think up of in the emergency." Twilight then flipped a display panel and imputed a set of coordinates, she then pushed Cadence on the small platform, as much as it was possible to push medium sized Alicorn who had been recently drained from seventy percent of her magic reserves.
"Ugh, I think I have a migraine. Is this it, is it over?"
"Almost done and, there perfect, just a little heads up there is going to be another flash of light. Only this time the system has an automated magic generator."
With another flash, they disappeared again. Canterlot hotel room #312, two ponies materialized inside of it. "Well the wedding starts at seven in the evening, so, uh buck! I was hoping it was actually in the morning. I really need to sleep right now. What time is it 6:39," Twilight winced. "Okay, if we just hurry I think we could still make it." With that, they both start running strangely enough back to the castle to prevent her brother to marry a Changelings Queen.
Heavy double doors snapped open "Stop the wedding!" yelled Twilight.
"Twilight, darling, I don't think this is a time for more jokes!"
"I am not joking Rarity, and I've been sober for at least two hours by now! Pinkie initiate Order 37, now!"
"But Twilight you promised to never ever to use those orders."
"Pinkie! Order 37! Right now!"
Pinkie gave up and pressed the button. Almost immediately a company of two hundred and fifty Pinkie Pie clones rushed in the room. All of them had been looking at Twilight Sparkle, their brand new commanding officer. "Get her!" yelled Twilight, her hoof firmly in the direction of the fake Cadence. In the next three seconds, all of them managed to immobilize Chrysalis, who by now lost her disguise. "Escort her into the dungeons, and out of my sight!" Clones did just that.
Doors slammed open again and Fluttershy rushed in "Twilight had been captured by the scary bug monster!" she yelled at the top of her lungs.
"Rude!" commented Chrysalis who somehow overheard that.
"Fluttershy, dear, I think we are all got that. That's okay you can relax for now!"
"Oh okay! Thank goodness you are okay Twilight"
Doors slammed open again and High Princess Luna came in "You can trust me, Lulu, everything is under control Lulu, I go here and what do I see there is a mess of unimaginable proportions. Ambassador Sparkle would you care to explain that."
"One of my agents decided to gone rogue, extreme measures had to be used, Ma'am!"
"And what pray tell was the assignment for this Agent, again."
"Harmless prank, Ma'am. To celebrate the wedding of my brother, Ma'am!"
"Should I advise you that this is the unwise usage of State resources."
"I am sorry Ma'am, it won't happen again Ma'am!"
"See that you don't, Ambassador!"
"Doors slammed open again. One more uninvited guest had been standing, a Chimera. "I feel kind of insulted because nopony bothered to invite me."
"Oh what Is it now?" groaned Twilight.
"Not him, please, I will take just anyone but him!" Rainbow moaned. Everypony looked at her. "What? He can be really annoying!"
"Well, what are you waiting for Ambassador, do your job!" shouted Luna!
"Right well, the new target the same Order! Get Him!" she yelled. Pinkies had been confused for a second, then all of them pulled a miniature particle bluster autocannon out of thin air, a weaponized model of Pinkie's Party Cannon, immediately they all surrounded the intruder, each weapon raised and aimed at him.
"It looks like you did your homework, congratulations. Uh, well I guess, I surrender!" Chimera slowly walked to the center of the room.
"Who are you and what are you doing here!"
"My name is Discord, and until this day I had been detained as a prisoner in the Equestria's most ruthless jail, the Canterlot Gardens."
"Haha, very funny mister! Canterlot doesn't have maximum security prisons and it certainly not in the gardens! Now I'll ask you one more time. Who are you?"
"But I am! Oh you mean, that silly base on the Moon? While I do respect the wisdom of the ponies who lived thousand years ago, now I fear they started to slack again. But you, you are promising to be different..."
"Pardoned!"
"Excuse me?"
"I said, pardoned! I don't care what you did thousand years ago, but you did serve more than enough for it unless you wish to come back to where you came from!"
"No no, everything is fine, I am perfectly happy with been pardoned."
"Good, now, can we get on with it, and do this wedding already!"
"Uh yes sure, that sounds like a wonderful idea." Rarity was more than happy with this resolution.
Four hours later all of them slept In their respective rooms. The after party was enjoyable, but with what happened everypony feel the need to rest.
Meanwhile, in the dungeons, a single Changeling Queen have been placed under heavy guard.
"Well poop, what am I going to do now?"
"How about you start writing an apology letter, let me help you Dear Ambassador Twilight Sparkle, today I had been a very bad filly. I really need you to punish me for insubordination. " Twilight snapped a wire.
Chrysalis gasped "No! You wouldn't!"
"Oh yes, I would! So how about you start to do that, and well, let's see if you are still going to need more Twilight time after I am done with you!"
"Yes!"
"Yes, what is it?'
"Yes, master!"
"Excellent! Now then shall we begin?"
At the same time, two guards tried their best to ignore what about to happen under their noses, they also had been trying, but failing to suppress their boners.
