John Law lost life and limb during the Meusse-Argonne offensive during the 1st world war, after him and his battalion were trapped and cut off from friendly forces. He attempted to run a message through German lines after so many had failed. He did too.

Unlike so many before him, his soul was sent to another world where he found his body damaged and surrounded by strange and otherworldly creatures. After recovering, he is asked to help save the nation he finds himself in from destruction from a powerful enemy.

He accepts and now tries his hardest to whip the peaceful Equestrians into a fighting force. Another lovely war to fight.
