//-------------------------------------------------------// Fluttershy's Ultimate Form! -by VShuffler42- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// In the Forest... //-------------------------------------------------------// In the Forest... Fluttershy was walking through the edges of the Everfree Forest with Angel riding on top of her. She wasn't very far into the forest; just enough to gather berries for all her little animals to enjoy. Even though the well spread branches blocked most of the sunlight, there was more than enough to see and follow a gravel-ly trail. A breeze of cool air was passing through. It slightly shook the leaves hanging on the branches of the trees. Everything was relatively normal... well, as normal as a day in Ponyville could be. "I still don't understand why you want me to wear my Saddle Rager costume, Angel," Fluttershy stated. Angel merely looked at her and started tapping his foot. "But if it makes you happy, I'll wear until we get home, okay?" Fluttershy said. Even though she had learned to be more assertive, Fluttershy didn't want to disappoint Angel over something so unnecessary. She continued trotting through the edge of the Everfree picking berries and placing them in a saddlebag that hung around her barrel. Fading into existence, a quiet rustling sound attracted both Fluttershy's and Angel's attention. They turned their heads in the direction of the sudden sound to find a small bunch of bushes and tall grasses. The grasses rustled again. Fluttershy and Angel stayed quiet for the time being. Fluttershy was wondering what kind of creature it would be. The rustling stopped. Fluttershy jumped back in fear at the sudden creature jumping out of the bush. Upon seeing that it was a young timberwolf, Fluttershy slowly lifted her head and in a calm, clear voice said, "I'm sorry. I'll be going now." She decided she must have journeyed a little too far into the forest and must entered a timberwolf pack's hunting grounds. And considering her previous experiences with timberwolves, she didn't want to stay much longer. She turned around and started to walk away... BUMP! Fluttershy looked up at the thing she had unintentionally bumped into: It was a large timberwolf staring down and growling at her. It may have been the largest one she has ever seen. She was thoroughly scared to her very core. She desperately wanted to run, but she knew that if she did, the timberwolves would see her as prey and she did NOT want that to happen. Her and Angel or the timberwolves; only one of those groups would it end well for. Then the large timberwolf snarled once more causing Angel to cower behind his owner, no matter how much it embarrassed him... "I-I-I'm S-S-S-Sorry. I a-am going to g-g-go now." Fluttershy stuttered out, nervousness and fear barely contained, despite her attempt. She started to slowly walk backwards with Angel huddling close. The large timberwolf, the Alpha Mother - Fluttershy decided, was crouching low, ready to pounce, growling and snarling warningly. Everything was going very slowly. Then... SNAP! A stick broke under the weight of Fluttershy's hoof she hadn't known was there. If she was more of a crude pony, she would have cursed. Then the timberwolves pounced. Fluttershy was racing through the forest, dodging and weaving through the trees, a yellow blur to anypony who witnessed. Angel was barely hanging on, her mane grasped in his hand, swinging as Fluttershy flew on. Only a well trained eye could follow the pale yellow pegasus. She checked behind her to see if she had escaped. She looked back in front in of her to see a branch headed for her face! She quickly ducked and barely avoided the limb. It was at this moment that a timberwolf leaped from her left, its claws tearing her basket from her and ripping a gash in her wing. She went tumbling to the ground. Angel went soaring into a tree. She could barely fly. No, she couldn't fly. She tried to keep going, but she just couldn't. The timberwolves leaped out the bushes and trees with the Alpha in the lead. They snarled and growled at their prey they had spent the last who-knows-however minutes chasing. Fluttershy, without many other options and being scared halfway to death, considered using her 'FlutterBat' form, as Pinkie Pie called it, in order to obtain a little more agility and fly away to safety. But she didn't even know if she could do it. The only evidence that supported she could was the fact she somehow still had fangs after being turned back to normal. But she had to try. She thought about flying in the dark hunting for apples, the way she did while as FlutterBat... Then the timberwolves pounced on her and she was pinned to the ground, the Alpha's face hovering over her, ready to eat her alive... Even if she did manage to turn into FlutterBat in the nick of time, she was pinned down; it would be all for naught. She was going to die... so she starting crying. It was over. Author's Note This is my first FIMFiction story //-------------------------------------------------------// ...There Lie the Corpses of the Dead. //-------------------------------------------------------// ...There Lie the Corpses of the Dead. Fluttershy closed her eyes and turned to the side, to fruitlessly try and avoid death, tears streaming down her face. It was over. The Alpha's maw opened, ready to devour its prey. ... ... *Thwak!* Fluttershy looked up to see a rock fall from the jaw of the timberwolf on top of her and then slowly look to the direction the timberwolf jerked it's head in response. Angel Bunny was standing there, holding another small rock in his paw. The Alpha, annoyed, temporarily forgot her current prey, got off of Fluttershy and snarled at the little bunny ... and the whole pack pounced. Right as the wolves were about to reach the little bunny, Angel hopped backwards to avoid the attack. Two of the wolves knocked their head into one another's and fell unconscious. The others regained their footing and chased after the bunny. But Angel was smart. He rested in front of a thick tree and then at the last moment, he jumped out of the way. The wolves was not able to stop in time and they ran straight into the tough trees. Their bodies was not able to handle the impact and they crumbled into sticks and twigs. But Timberwolves were fast learners and they couldn't be fooled the same way more than twice. And when Angel tried it once more, *Swipe!* The Alpha had pounced and lashed out a paw, making contact with Angel while in mid-air, sending the bunny soaring across the opening, into a patch of Poison Joke. Even timberwolves knew to avoid that dreaded plant, and at the disappointment of losing a meal, timberwolves turned to their other meal, who has managed to pull herself from the ground and had watched the whole ordeal go down. Fluttershy was shocked. Angel had saved her life. Her eyes stayed there for what seemed like an eternity watching Angel's unconscious body. His previously white fur was now dirty. His leg seemed dislocated. His breathing was barely noticeable. Then... He started to bleed across his entire body; the vast blue was being dyed red. Something inside Fluttershy snapped upon seeing Angel's blood flow across his body. Something so rarely felt, it would take years to bring out. And yet, here it was. The same feeling she felt at the Grand Galloping Gala. The same feeling that caused her to utterly destroy the Mane-iac's machine. Pure, Unadulterated Anger. Rage. Fury, even. It was at that moment that she no longer cared if she was the Element of Kindness, these timberwolves severely hurt Angel. Her body started growing with muscle. Her fangs became longer. Her Saddle Rager outfit ripped along multiple locations. Her wings spread out and morphed into bat wings. Her eyes turned bloodshot red. Her mane became more rigid, more disorganised. Her body grew and grew, and She felt powerful. And she knew exactly what she would use that power on. These timberwolves, that hurt Angel, that previously hunted the pair, were going to pay! Fluttershy looked down straight at the timberwolves in front of her. They had all taken a step back, and now were ready to attack once more. Fluttershy beat them to it. Fluttershy launched herself forward at the timberwolves. Her hoof smashed through one's torso, her wings sliced another, and used her fangs to bite and rip off a third one's head. There were four timberwolves down for the count in a moment's notice. The rest of the pack soon recuperated from their surprise and pounced on top of Fluttershy. Their claws cut through her costume, angering her further. She thrashed and threw one to the ground and smashed it flat. She shaked and turned and jumped, throwing all the timberwolves off. Soon there were more wooden corpses on the ground. There were no more left. Everything was quiet. Then out of nowhere, the Alpha jumped. Her claws cut a gash into Fluttershy's skin, her teeth found their way around Fluttershy's muzzle, little effect to the Hulking Bat Pony. Fluttershy, now enraged even further, flung herself forward, slamming the Alpha timberwolf to the ground. Then she proceeded to headbutt the timberwolf into oblivion. Everything would have been fine, if the various parts from various bodies thrown around had not begun to hover and spin rapidly around the Alpha's corpse. In a moment's notice, a fresh timberwolf the size of Carousel Boutique had arisen from the dust, snarling. Time seemed to slow down as wolf and pony stared each other down, waiting to strike. The wind blew through the forest; an eerie whistle fluttered through the Everfree. A leaf broke from its stem. It drifted down at a brisk speed. At the instant it touched the ground, Destruction ensued. Fluttershy charged straight for the timberwolf. The timberwolf pounced and opened its toothy maw wide. They confronted and CHOMP! Fluttershy was swallowed whole. Little did the timberwolf know, Fluttershy was now punching her way through its body In a matter of minutes, Fluttershy had reached its heart, its regeneration point. If the heart is destroyed, then the timberwolf goes 'Nighty-Night' permanently. She pulled back her hoof and slammed it into the timberwolf's mandatory organ. The heart exploded on contact. The Timberwolf's body started to collapse in on itself. Its wooden, natural body was no longer supported by life. A few moments later, a dusty pile of sticks, twigs, and branches rested on the forest floor. Fluttershy, now back to normal, crawled out from under the pile. She rushed over to where a barely conscious Angel was resting in the Poison Joke patch. She... KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK Fluttershy heard the knocking on her door. She quickly and quietly dragged herself out of bed as she yawned silently. (She didn't want to wake her animals.) She, of course, didn't remember a thing. She was too busy trying to remember what day it was. She swiftly brushed her hair and fluttered down to the door to greet this morning visitor. She opened the door and was greeted with a loud: "Why hello, Fluttershy! I am ready for our weekly tea party! Aren't you?", by her quite discordly friend. Oh right, it was Tuesday. That's wonderful news! Author's Note This was my first FIMFiction story so I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for reading! https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/twilightsmile.png Edit: Finally... after all the problematic problems (https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/825762/problematic-problems), the story premise is done! Now I just need to proofread and revise the heck out of it. But that's for another day. And oh wow, this story is practically 4 months old when I added this.
