Ace continued to lead Twilight and Starlight down the streets of Lumiose City his trusty Silvally by his side. After the whole Pokemon Trainer talk with his new companions, Twilight had grown more interested in becoming a trainer. Looker had told Ace to find a man by the name of Sycamore for more information regarding the legendary and mythical Pokemon. Along the way Ace explained to Twilight and Starlight everything they needed to know about Pokemon from types to strengths to weakness to resistance and ending with evolution. All the while Twilight was quick to take notes.

"So some Pokemon evolve using stones?" asked Starlight.

"Yeah but others just evolve by leveling up," answered Ace.

"Interesting," said Twilight scribbling down information.

"Stop right there!" a voice called out. The three stopped short to see two figures walking up to them. The male figure was wearing a white suit and white pants with a blue tie. His blonde hair flowed in the wind. The female figure on the other hand was wearing a white dress and white Ugg boots and a red bow tie. Compared to the male figure she had long black hair.

"Haha sorry we didn't mean to scare you," laughed the male figure.

"Um sorry who are you?" asked Twilight.

"I'm Dexio," said the male figure.

"And I'm Sina a beautiful name for a beautiful lady," said the female figure.

"Wait Dexio and Sina, didn't we meet on Alola?" asked Ace.

"Yes but we we're only there for our reasons," answered Dexio.

"Truth is we actually work for Professor Sycamore," added Sina.

"Sycamore, isn't that who we're looking for?" asked Starlight.

"Yeah," answered Ace.

"Haha that's what we thought," laughed Dexio. "Sycamore received word from Mr. Looker stating he was sending a trainer with two unicorns towards him,"

"But you guys never seemed to show up," said Sina.

"Yeah sorry I'm originally from Alola so I don't know where to go," said Ace.

"Well that's what we thought so we came to get you," said Dexio. "Come on follow us," he said running off. Ace shrugged and followed after Dexio and Sina. Eventually Ace, Twilight and Starlight were stopped in front of a cream colored building.

"Here we are," announced Dexio. "The Sycamore lab,"

"Come on now let's not waste time," said Sina running in after Dexio. Ace let out a sigh as he walked into the lab with Twilight, Starlight, Hoopa, and Silvally following behind. Looking around the lab the three saw many paintings of random Pokemon hung up on the walls.

"Wow," said Twilight.

"This is the Pokemon lab?" asked Starlight.

"Doesn't look like much," said Ace his Silvally grunting in agreement.

"Hey there!" a voice called out. The three turned towards the voice to see a man walking up to them with four teenagers following behind. The man obviously had to be Sycamore that Looker mentioned from the white lab coat he was wearing. "You must be the ones Looker told me about," said the man.

"That's right," said Twilight smiling.

"Ace," said Ace reaching out his hand. "And this is my partner Silvally," said Ace introducing Silvally.

"I'm Twilight Sparkle," said Twilight.

"And I'm Starlight Glimmer," Starlight added.

"And I'm Hoopa," said Hoopa laughing.

"Nice to meet you all I'm Professor Sycamore," said the man. "And these are my assistants Serena, Tierno, Trevor, and Shauna," said the professor introducing the four kids.

"Hiya!" Shauna said jumping up.

"Hey nice meeting you all," said Tierno.

"Um nice to meet you," said Trevor clutching his camera.

"Hello," said Serena.

"We heard all about you from Mr. Looker," said Shauna. "You guys ARE trainers right?"

"Yes," answered Ace.

Trevor's eyes widened as he took noticed of the black ring on Ace's wrist,"Hey you have a Mega Ring?" Trevor asked.

"A what?" asked Starlight.

Professor Sycamore obviously took notice and cheered,"Why Ace you can use Mega Evolution too?"

"Um i'm sorry I have no idea what you guys are talking about," said Ace.

"Um Professor I hope you wouldn't mind me explaining to Ace about Mega Evolution would you?" asked Serena.

"Be my guest," said Sycamore.

"Mega what?" asked Ace. So Ace, Twilight, and Starlight listened as Serena explained to them about Mega Evolution.

"How intriguing," said Twilight. "An evolution beyond evolution,"

"That's right," said Sycamore. "But you won't be able to use Mega Evolution until you have a Mega Stone,"

"Mega Stone, well in that case," Ace began to dig through his bag as he explained how he got his Mega Ring obviously stunning the Professor.

"You mean you just received the Mega Ring without any sense of knowledge you have about Mega Evolution?" asked Sycamore.

"Yeah I don't know why me of all people though," hes said. "Ah here it is," said Ace pulling out the blue stone from his bag. Sycamore took the stone and inspected it. There was a moment of silence before he gasped.

"What is it Professor?' asked Trevor.

"Marvelous a Charizardite X!" Sycamore beamed.

"A what?" asked Twilight.

"It's the Mega Stone that allows Charizard to Mega Evolve into Mega Charizard," said Sycamore.

"Charizard?" asked Ace. He began digging through his bag as he pulled out a Pokeball. He chucked the ball in the air. As it popped open a white energy flowed out and took the form of a giant flying lizard. Once the light dissipated, a black lizard with red wings and a cream colored underbelly was flying in place, however this Charizard's body seemed to sparkle and shine unlike any other Charizard in the Pokemon region.

"OMG is that?" asked Shauna.

"A Charizard and a Shiny one too," said Trevor.

"A what?" asked Twilight.

"A Shiny Pokemon is like the rarest kind of Pokemon you can find in the wild," said Serena.

"Wait but isn't legendary and mythical Pokemon the rarest kind of Pokemon?" asked Twilight.

"Not exactly but they aren't common so you could say they're somewhat rare mostly cause you can't see them in your daily lives," answered Tierno.

"Well anyway so if I use this Mega Stone on my Charizard it will Mega Evolve?" asked Ace.

"Well yes and no," answered Sycamore.

"What do you mean?" asked Ace.

"It's not that easy," said Serena. "You need to have a strong bond with your Pokemon in order to get them to Mega Evolve,"

"What if I told you that me and Charizard has been with each other long enough that we trust ourselves," said Ace. "I've found my Charizard at level 5 I've trained and cared for him since then,"

"Then that's it, you should be able to Mega Evolve your Charizard," said Sycamore.

"Great," said Ace. "But I hope you guys wouldn't mind giving me some tips will you?" asked Ace.

Chapter 2 complete. So now Ace has everything he needs hopefully he can be able to Mega Evolve his Charizard. Now I chose Mega Charizard X only because I like it more than it's Y version. But hey who doesn't hate Mega Charizard X.
