On the run from a mysterious force, Thorn and his minion find themselves before a strange portal to Equestria, in the shape of an alicorn statuette. They proceed to travel into Equestria, were the ghostly minion regains much of what he once lost. However, their travel may have had repercussions unknown to most. Meanwhile, Twilight investigates the magical disturbance that pulsed from the Everfree, and ponders what it might bring.
