I - The Summoning
Luna POV - Date: 11/30/** Location: Unknown
'It's finally time... Ever since I saw Tia get Philamena, I couldn't wait... But now after 306 years, I can finally get mine... A companion, a friend, a... A familiar.' I thought, giddy with excitement whilst trotting up to the summoning chamber. This chamber was usually sealed off unless an alicorn just turned 1000yrs old, but even then it's only to do the summoning ceremony...
I was roused from my musings by Tia with Philamena resting on her shoulder, calling out my name, "Luna?" I turned to see her with a proud and tear-filled face. "My baby sister is finally gonna get her familiar.*sniffle*"
I gave a half-hidden nervous smile, "Yes, I can't wait... But, what do you think it will be?" I asked curiously. I guess she caught the look I gave earlier, because she gave me a look that said, "Why would you be nervous, it's only the most normal thing in this side of the Cosmos."
"Look... I'm sure whatever it is, it will be amazing... At least as amazing as Philamena!" She ended with a broad and kind smile. It brought a small confident smile to my muzzle.
"Thank you Tia... I'm sure it will be too," I finished while I opened the door to the chamber and walked in.
Inside wasn't really what I was expecting... It was a large cylindrical room with runes all over the walls, and I didn't know what they meant so to me it looked as though they let twenty or so foals with chalk run rampant for a couple of hours. On the floor was a much larger and intricate rune purposed for the summoning, and making the contract to bind us.
Ten minutes later, I was instructed on how to do the spell properly. Once I knew how to do it, I was left alone to be able to focus, prepare, and cast the spell.
Unknown POV - Date: 11/30/2020 Location: WA, Lynnwood
I closed the door behind me after I came barging in to get out of the light blizzard. 'I may be resistant to the cold but, not even I can stay in that kind of cold for longer than an extra fifteen minutes longer than normal people!' I thought a bit peeved about how weak the human body is, while walking through my small 1 bed & 1 bath apartment.
One and a half hours later, the blizzard seems to get worse, 'Oh but that's not the worst part... No, the worse part is that the power went out FORTY-FIVE MINUTES AGO!!!' I'm bored, I'm slowly getting colder, and I'm already showing signs of hypothermia... "Hahahahaa!! ...I've only just turned Twenty... Why? ...*Deep inhale*...Oh well, I tried my best at life." A couple minutes later I was dipping in and out of consciousness, not long after I left the plane of existence.'No regrets!'

After I don't know how long of the cruel, and cold darkness... Beautiful nebulae, galaxies, and unfamiliar constellations started to fade into existence... Little longer I see a form moving towards me. Once it's a couple of feet away, it stopped and it... No, she spoke with an elegant, gentle, and slightly bored voice... "I have come to give you a chance between a new life with two powers of your choice, or whatever you believe should've happened next, be it; heaven, hell, reincarnation, etc. etc." She paused to let me think. But I didn't let that pause stay as long as she probably wanted it to be...
"Why?" She tilted her head as if saying, 'clarify so I may indulge you properly.' "Why would you go through this trouble and give me another chance at life...?"
"Ah, I see... Well to answer that question as simply as I can... You died too soon, and no we cannot revive your body since it has already been a year since you have died and your body was cremated." She explained with a solemn tone and expression, and looked down and away from me. When she looked up, she was more than a little surprised to see me with a sad smirk on my face. "Wh-How come your not grieving or freaking out?"
After a while, I answered with, "I've kinda already accepted it..." I chuckled sadly at her expression and answered her last question,"I want to have the second chance at life... My powers will be... hhhmmm... Ah yes, The first one will be the ability to manipulate my body no matter what state I am, or how drastic... And the second one will be the ability to create and manipulate pocket dimensions... Oh,these powers will not have any limits unless I give them to myself... And if this world has magic, the abilities don't run on it."
After a little while her shocked expression dimmed, and she sighed, "I guess I should've listened when they said you were an abnormal person... Alright, I should tell you that you will be arriving in Equestria soon..." She snickered at my expression. 'Aaaah HELLLS YEAAHH!!!!' (*Side note for ponies (and other species): No you will never come to know how I knew of Equestria before I came here...*) "Also, if you study, you'll be able to use magic"
She left soon afterwords... and suddenly a bright, migraine-inducing flash of light engulfed my vision... "AAAAHH!!! ...GODDAMMIT!!!"

And it was gone almost as fast as it had appeared.
When my vision cleared I was in another space like before, but instead of a pitch black timeless void. It was a bearably cool, soft, and comforting deep blue. Soon, a figure a slightly lighter shade of blue than everywhere else, came close... 'Hmm... Seems quadrupedal in nature... Wait... Is that? ... No...... Oh My God, it is. It's FILLY LUNA!!!! If I wasn't dead already, I would've had a heart attack despite my young age.
"Hello, what can I do you for?" She yelped, jumped and turned around at break-neck speeds.
"A-Are y-you my f-familiar?" She stuttered with that little fear and hope combo.
"Don't know but if you would like a shape-shifter that wants to be by your side for eternity... than yeah,
of course!" I beamed and continued, "I also have other things I can do, but it will be a while 'till I can use anything... Sorry, but I will be useless for awhile when it comes to certain things." Both of our faces fell as I said this. But Luna decided to be how ponies usually are; no not the 'your different so I'll either; faint, run around like a headless chicken, or hate and/or despise you.' No, she decided to be friendly and comfort me. (more like scolded me for beating myself up for something I can't help)
So, after a small while of bera-comforting me, we get on with making the contract, and created one that is a little over-powered. After that, luna disappeared a few moments before my vision erupted into white and an immense tingly sensation ran across and through my body.

I found myself waking up on Luna's barrel, as a male Magna-Luna.
(Only with none of the regalia... And male of course.)
A few minutes after I lifted myself off of Luna, she too decided it was time to wake up... Though it's mostly because I kept prodding at her until she awoke. First thing to happen was, she gasped at my appearance, squee'd, hugged me, let go, grabbed me by my scruff, and went barreling through the door... It was the only thing left standing of what appeared to be a tower of some kind...
Once she got through with obliviously obliterating the last thing left standing, she went down a couple of what use to be corridors, and found Celestia... Alone... Crying... 'Not good...'
When Luna noticed and asked, "What's wrong? What happened? Where is Mom and Father?" Celestia flinched and looked up at Luna... Then to me... And told us what happened... It was horrible...
With the exception of her, and her sister, there are no other alicorns left alive to guard the mortals from threats like the ones who ended in a stalemate in war against the alicorns to go all but extinct, and many more.
And with that I opened my mouth to speak...
