The once peaceful and harmonic land of Equestria is no more. What took its place was a world ruled by death and destruction. With the six factions, each led by a former element bearer, waging war against one another there is very little of a future left for Equestria's inhabitants.

Plagued with the thoughts of a never-ending war, Apple Bloom created a machine to help summon a hero to help save her world. The result of her actions summoned Sonic the Hedgehog to Equestria through a mechanical mishap infused with the power of Chaos Control and the space-distortion capabilities of the Phantom Ruby.

However, the fates of not only Equestria and its inhabitants, but the very plane of existence hang in the balance when foes new and old come into play.
