We're Curse and Livin' It

My eyes open, looking over the place as vision return. Everything seems to look.. Weird? I seem to be in some sort of cave. There's a spring full of water where a waterfall from sealing down, puddles in gaps and holes that shape like a bowl, and can see the surface of some rooks like stalagmites and stalactites give wet effect from being exposed by water for a long time in a low; cold temperature environment.

I should be freezing but feel fine and dandy. I usually say I’m fine in cold weather but I didn’t think it will be this good! “Not chilly as I thought.” I said then stop, my eye wide. That wasn’t my voice, it sound feminine and bit vibrated. It's the first time today that I look at myself.

I lift my right arm and see slim black hoof where my hand should have been. I move my arm left and right as did the appendage in front of me. I trail down from hoof to its connected source, only to see that it ends at a body of a sea greenish black chitin, a long sleek chitin with this long appendage which must be a leg. I feel something on my back and I crane my neck some how and see a white carapace a bit ajar to reveal white insect like wings. ‘Please no…’ A nudge of panic in my mind as my eyes cross eye to see a seaweed black muzzle. ‘No… No. No!’

Desperate to have something left of me, I lift one hind leg and look down my crotch and my pupils pinprick at seeing a feminine bits and not just that a ovipositor and this just made me scream before blacking out.

When woke up hours later I instantly look at myself a second time and still see as you guessed it, changeling. A tall changeling to that, maybe around luna’s size? “Wait a second, where exactly am I?” I as myself and hearing this voice that’s not mine is something I have to get use to.

One way to find out. I try to push myself up but my own body anatomy is unknown and such I loss footing and fell on the ground with a “Oof”. Yep, this is not good, not knowing your own body is like this is really creepy and scary.

It took a couple of guess but none work that I gave up on trying. “Daaaah! Can’t I take a damn break!” Yelled to the heavens, not really expecting a response, just to vent my frustration. Must be a girls thing or i’m just being mad about my change and gender, nope; just the gender.

I sat there as I try to think of another way to move when a sudden thought sprung up. I try crawling up to the water, it works at least. Glancing over, I see a changeling of course but just like chrysalis eyes mine have pupils and iris which is seaweed green and my white mane is comb down in a long hairstyle hanging at my right shoulder with few mane covers most of my forehead.

Open my mouth and see those same teeth set. “I’m omnivore… At least that didn’t change. But why a… Wait a minute.” I try getting up to see of any difference. I sat up like a dog, that work but a little weird, “Okay, now back leg.” And that's what I did, hind legs move and it gross me at how my kneel in the wrong place as they move to my will and that made me stand on all four.

“I did it…” I muttered as a feeling reach me, “I did it.” I am, happy. A smile escape my lips, only to end as soon as my balance went of when I try to move to the side. Fell down with another “oof”, this was just getting annoying.

Hour or two later of hard lifting, -which turns out it’s not that easy the more times I slip and fall about twelve time- I’ve finally found my balance. At least that’s a start and- woah! I’m right, I am tall! If I have to say about myself, I’m beautiful to be honest in my stander, at least I don’t have those holes on my body like in the show.

Biting my lower lip, something tug my attention and that itching feeling in my nethers. “Resist the urge Kye. You can at least do that.” I told myself. I start practicing to at least walk and stop first, stopping was easy, the walking will need a lot of practice. Seeing that I’ve got the jist of it, I try going in the pool that's not connected to a reservoir and I was glad I did! When my hoof ran right in it feels nice and cool and filled me with excitement, I just dived right in.

Hour later after my bathing and try to find come way out, I reach a block crevice on the side of the wall, light shine through. With careful moving of each rock blockading the way while checking to make sure any loose areas that might break and tumble down by any mistakes on moving a single slab, one wrong move and it cave in in me. How I’m doing this with hooves is a bit unlogic.

With one last nudge of a rock, a field of light shines through! ‘I’m out!’ I trot in place of excitement and almost slip, blushing slightly. I walk out in delight and trot afterwards when I felt grass beneath my fe- hoofs. Feeling free, I look around and see that i’m in some field of apple trees, the smell of fresh apples which shouldn’t be possible for me since apples don’t smell like well apple. Smile as I walk through row of lively tree, except one that seem to be in a middle of being replace the way it looks. But foreign, panic thought struck me. “CRAAAAAAP! What if I’ve been discovered!?!” I screech and shut my muzzle with my hoof out of panic of being spotted. A few stomping coming from the other side of that hill clearing. I quickly look around in all direction for any indication for a hiding place! ‘Gotta Hide!Gotta Hide!Gotta Hide!Gotta Hide!’ I thought in an increasingly panic attack.

Then a sudden realization hit me. “Wait! I’m a changeling, I can just change in something!” I said like I was stupid to forget.

Magic one-O-one, concentration on what I want to happen; change myself; but to what? Ahhhhhh a pony! I’m going with my guts here and be an earth pony mare. Feel my horn illuminated light green before a green fire surrounds me and can feel my body change, it was weird. It all took just seconds when it finish and flames vanish, leaving a young light orange mare with a long amber mane braided. I look around eleven years old if I have to guess. Just one problem; “Agh! I look like Applejack with different coloring and manestyle!” I grumbled. It soon been extinguish as I flop on the ground on my belly in exhaustion, that spell hurts and it shows with my muscles hurting and my brain ache. I was about to pass out four sets of hooves came to view before I was lost consciousness.
