Telling Her Friend The Truth
Pinkie Pie was baking treats for customers as the day was winding down, while she was doing this Twilight approached her, Pinkie Pie saw her and Twilight kept a straight face Pinkie Pie spoke in a cheerful voice.
"Hi Twilight, you don't come here often, what brings you here? Would you like to place an order that we can make for you here and you can pick it up later?" She asked her with a smile, Twilight spoke in calm clear voice.
"I need to see you in the Ponyville garden, there's something we need to talk about." Twilight suddenly said, Pinkie Pie responded in cheerful reply as she was oblivious to what Twilight had in mind.
"Sure! I'll see you right when work ends! Would you like something to eat?" Pinkie Pie asked, Twilight shrugged and ordered a muffin while she was there, Pinkie Pie waited for a batch to finish and gave her one and Twilight paid for it and then left. Pinkie Pie continued to bake treats for customers while she also couldn't wait to go hang out with Twilight after.
Soon she finished so she merrily walked out of Sugarcube Corner and went to the local garden that was planted a few years ago. She couldn't wait to see Twilight, she wondered if Twilight had a picnic I mind, she felt as if Twilight was treating it as a surprise so that made it that much better.
She merrily skipped on her way as she went to see Twilight, she didn't want to keep Twilight waiting though so she skipped faster, soon she went inside the garden and walked around to try and find Twilight, she heard Twilight call her voice so she turned around and saw her and when she saw her her breath caught in her throat.
Twilight was in a elegant dress and was carrying a box, she smiled at Pinkie Pie, Pinkie Pie was speechless she didn't know if she should compliment her friend or ask her friend what was going on.
"Your beautiful Twilight!" Pinkie Pie giggled, Twilight blushed as she smiled back as Pinkie Pie's remark made her happy she tried to gain her composure as she spoke.
"Thank you Pinkie, Your to kind for your own good, I find it cute, but you must be wondering why I brought you here today." Twilight stated, Pinkie Pie thought about any possible reason of why Twilight would bring her here. She nodded.
Twilight smiled as she took out a book from her bag, Pinkie Pie was surprised that she had carried a book in her bag all day from her library, she wondered what Twilight wanted to do with her.
"Have you ever heard of the Equestrian Knight Pinkie Pie? She protected Equestria for Celestia under a certain circumstance after Celestia banished Luna to the moon with the elements of harmony." Twilight asked, Pinkie Pie tried to think for a minute and knew what Twilight was talking about.
"Your talking about the lost legend of Hilda the Great?" Pinkie Pinkie guessed win and unsure voice as she hoped that she was right and hoped that she wasn't that ignorant of the legends of Equestria. Twilight nodded with a smile.
"Hilda was the most extraordinary hero in all of Equestria, the legend says that long ago their was a evil being that was unleashed from the bowels of the Underworld itself, a dragon so evil and so vile that it killed and wreaked havoc among the towns of Equestria, that dragon was Smorsgard, he was corrupt with power, he wanted to kill every citizen of Equestria so he could steal all the gold and rule Equestria because he wanted to be a god, the legend goes on to explain that a valiant knight who was the the most bravest of heroes killed the beast and saved Equestria, that of coarse was Hilda the great." Twilight explained, Pinkie Pie listened with deep interest.
"Hilda was declared a hero and celebrated far and wide all over Equestria, When Celestia learned about it she awarded Hilda for her bravery and Hilda is now taught about in school and she is in numerous books which talk about her adventures, Rainbow Dash dressed up as Hilda on one Nightmare Night even." Twilight exclaimed.
"What does this have to do with me?" Pinkie Pie asked, Twilight cleared her throat as she took out a book and opened it.
"A few years after Hilda had slain the beast she got married to a guard and she got pregnant and gave birth to a child, this child grew up and was raised in high society as Hilda had gained hero celebrity status after she killed the beast, Hilda's daughter served under Celestia even and Celestia dedicated a day to Hilda even. This woman was named Alaina, when she grew up she found her mother's lost sword and gained magical powers from the sword, which turned her into the most famous witch in Equestrian Lore, Aliana the Bold.
"Aliana had powers beyond the normal, she met Starswirl the Bearded even! Alaina used her powers to defeat a great inferno that was caused by an arch nemesis who was the master of evil, and you should know who that is, everybody knows who Alaina's arch nemesis was." Twilight said with seriousness, Pinkie Pie knew the answer but didn't want to say it.
"Your talking about Lucifer the fallen angel aren't you?" Pinkie Pie asked, Twilight nodded solemnly as she continued.
"Lucifer was filled with hatred for Alaina, after Lucifer was cast down from heaven Alaina dueled Lucifer when Lucifer was trying to gain followers, Aliana won and Lucifer went to the underworld or Hades whatever you want to call it, anyway Alaina was hailed as a hero and retired she gave birth to several kids and one of these started the longest living family in Equestria, she's now also talked about in books which retell her adventure as well." Twilight said as she hoped Pinkie Pie would get the answer she continued.
"This family started on a rock farm and then you came into the world Pinkie Pie....which brings me to the point of this sword." Twilight said as she unsheathed the sword, she gave it to Pinkie Pie and Pinkie Pie stared at it.
"This is Hilda the Great's sword Pinkie Pie, it belongs to the descendant of Hilda which is you, you are the descendent of Hilda the great, you are the next chapter in the family history, this sword belongs to you, the Cakes know about this and Celestia knows about it but she never told you as she was to shy to tell you." Twilight told Pinkie Pie.
Pinkie Pie couldn't believe what Twilight said, Twilight must've had a mistake, she couldn't possibly be a descendant from one of the greatest heroes from Equestria, sure she was a element bearer but she can't possibly be that important.
"I don't believe it! I....that can't be true, sure I'm an element bearer but Im not that great." Pinkie Pie said as she stuttered while holding the sword. Twilight smiled and pointed at the sword Pinkie Pie looked at her reflection in the sword.
"It's true Pinkie Pie, you will bring peace to Equestria you are destined to be one of the greatest heroes Equestria has ever seen. In time you'll see, you will save the world which is why I'm handing over the leadership of the mane six....to you." Twilight told her. Pinkie Pie almost fainted.
"I can't possibly do that Twilight....that's your title...to hand that title over to me would be unfair to you as you are greatest leader." Pinkie Pie exclaimed, Twilight chuckled.
"I'm not that great Pinkie Pie but thanks for the flattery, I'm human Pinkie Pie I make mistakes, we all make mistakes but you....you will be like no other." Twilight told her. Pinkie Pie shook her head as she was unaware about how to respond to all of these shocking facts.
"It's so confusing to think about, I'll need some time until I can discover my potential." Pinkie Pie said, Twilight put her hand on Pinkie Pie's shoulder.
"In time you will." Twilight said, Pinkie Pie wrapped her arms around Twilight in a tight hug and Twilight hugged her as well, she smiled.
"Thank you Twilight, I appreciate you telling me this, thank you for returning the sword to its rightful place, which is with the descendant of one of the greats." Pinkie Pie said happily.
"No problem, you can put it in a display in your room as it belongs to you." Twilight said Pinkie Pie thanked Twilight and they talked about other stuff and then Pinkie Pie went home and put the sword in a safe sealed display case. Pinkie Pie told her friends what Twilight told her and they were happy that she found out who she was she also told Celestia and Celestia and Twilight told her that the next chapter was to be shaped by her. She understood as she hoped that her destiny gave her some time still but also hoped that she could be the hero Equestria deserves.
