The small pink filly rolled a red ball back and forth through the grass gently, the playground was full of children playing games in groups. The colts playing a type of soccer yet where the goal was to beat each other up, the fillies giggling while playing a game of jump rope.
Her pale blue eyes watched the children play, nopony ever asking her to join. She merely pinned her ears back in silence, content with rolling her ball side to side. At a time she almost made a new friend, Diamond Tiara was starting to spend her lunch breaks with her.
Yet that came to a close quickly, one day when visiting her home to see if she was ok. Her mother Spoiled Rich informed her that Diamond would be home schooled for now on, that she had no time to spend with such filth.
Filth?
That is what she was, in the eyes of all around her. Her soft violet bangs showered over her eyes, hiding the forming tears the best she could. Would the school even care if she vanished?
Lifting a small hoof she smacked the ball away from her sight, it flew off swiftly into the air and landed in a nearby bush with a thud. The filly sobbing softly near an old dying tree, nopony paying her even a little attention.
“Phst. Lily!” Diamond Tiara's voice rang through the air, the filly perking her ears up excitedly.
“Tiara?” Lily whimpered sweetly, brushing tears away from her eyes with a delicate hoof.
“Over here…” The voice of her friend seemed to eerily flow across the wind, Lily gazing over to the nearby bush her ball fell into.
Quickly she trotted over to the bush, away from sight of all at the school. Bouncing inside the foliage she kept an eye out for her friend, but found only silence.
“This way…” Diamond giggled happily, the small red ball bouncing down a nearby twisted path into the dark woods.
“Couldn't we just go back to the playground? Maybe braid each other’s manes?” Lily spoke up in a fearful tone, her hooves shivering as she vanished down the twisted path.
The woods were so thick, filled with many branching paths. The sun blocked out from high above, by towering trees that never seemed to end. She could feel eyes watching her from the abyss, yet never striking the fear they caused ponies of the unknown was enough for them.
Thorns hanging from nearby vines tore at the small filly who whimpered in pain, scratches and knicks forming over her small frame. The path soon became too twisted and faded, she gazed back behind herself. Knowing even if she wanted, it would be hours before she found her way back.
“We’re almost there…” Diamond spoke in a darker tone, her shadow cast across a nearby tree as it beckoned her over.
Lily shivered in place and slowly made her way over, spotting a open path to a small clearing before her. She slowly cantered over and sat down, pale blue eyes glancing every which way for her friend.
“I’ve missed you.” She whispered out among the dark woods.
Diamond Tiara walked out of the shadows slowly, a wicked smile across her face. Eyes burning a dark green color, that seemed to tear into the filly’s very soul.
“I’ve missed a few lunches already.” She giggled aloud in a horrible tone of voice, not matching her small body at all, it was a voice of a full grown mare.
A dark green shadow engulfed the Diamond clone, melting her coat away like paper into ashes. The figure before the child growing larger, darker and twisted, dark green eyes cast down to the filly in hunger.
“What are you?” The child shivered in fear at this terrible creature, backing up slowly only to feel a warm sting on her hind legs.
Queen Chrysalis spat forward from her mouth a oozing green mess, it quickly latched onto the child’s legs to prevent escape, it would burn delightfully before hardening like stone on her victims.
Lily whimpered as she sat before this monster, unable to budge even an inch as this ugly drooling mare paced around her in circles.
“What do you want?” Lily fought back tears, knowing he didn’t have much, save for a few bits her mommy had given her for juice at school.
“Mmmm. I want you dear, you are cute enough to eat.” Chrysalis moaned aloud in ecstasy, green drool oozing down the sides of her muzzle.
Slowly the mare extended a long serpent like tongue, tracing it roughly up the child’s cheek. Tasting the fear, the tears and the joy of a successful hunt, it was enough to give her shivers.
“You don’t want to eat me. I’m far too tough.” Lily sobbed loudly for help, hoping in her heart anypony could hear her.
“Fufufu! Don’t worry I don’t mind tenderizing!” The Queen burst out into haunting laughter, her lower jaw dislocating slightly as long saliva covered fangs extended forward. Dark green eyes rolling back as she edged ever closer to her prey.
She would gnaw on her hooves for a while, to prevent escape. Perhaps even rip out her tongue, she hated screamers more than anything. Once she was delirious, it would be easy to trick her with illusions to give away her love.
Draining her into a husk, within a week or so.
The filly sobbed loudly as tears fell onto the ground below, she weakly lifted a tiny hoof and barely batted it at the creatures cheek.
Chrysalis felt her eyes widen in horror, the tiny hoof barely swatting her cheek. Yet she could feel as if a planet had smacked into her, her whole body quivering in pain and aches beyond anything she had ever felt.
“Ahhhhh!” The Queen screamed in agony, her lower hooves exploding into tiny chunks as green blood splashed across the dead trees wildly.
Her torso exploded as her heart went flying off into the distance, head swelling into a bulbous shape before eyes popped wildly out of their sockets.
Every last tooth scattered to the winds, as last her whole skull simply exploded into millions of tiny shards. Blood, guts, skin and bone splashed over at least a mile radius. The woods coated in gore, the echo of the Queen’s scream still wafting through the air.
The ooze around the the filly’s hooves dripping to the ground eerily, the child whimpering softly as she gazed down to the ground in shame.
“I warned you, I was far too tough.” Lily sniffled not wanting to see the horror she had created.
“Help…” A familiar voice echoed beyond the trees.
Lily lifted her head up slowly, wiping away a few fresh tears.
“Tiara?”
