Getting Offended And Then Getting Into Trouble
Sweetie Belle was drawing some pictures in her room while Rarity went out to do some errands. Rarity told Sweetie Belle to take care of Opalescence and had promised Sweetie Belle that she would be back and finally left. Sweetie Belle was left alone with Opalescence and had to take care of Opalescence but other than that she could do anything that she wanted, she knew that she could get in trouble though if she looked through stuff she wasn't supposed to so she didn't do that.
She went to Opalescence and fed Opalescence. After that she went back to her so she can relax. When she got to her room she resumed drawing.
As she drew some pictures to try and entertain herself as she couldn't think of anything else to do with her time in her room she got bored after awhile so she stopped and stood up. She wanted to get a snack so she went to the kitchen and grabbed an orange to eat, as she walked back to her room while eating the orange she saw that Rarity's bedroom door was open.
She immediately grew curious, she knew that she wasn't allowed in her sister's room without permission but since her sister was running some errands and wasn't home meant that Sweetie Belle could look around and Rarity wouldn't know that she was in her room as she would keep it a secret from her big sister if her sister did find out she hoped that she wouldn't get that mad at her.
She walked into Rarity's room and looked through her material and notebooks, she read through all of her notebooks but that got boring very quickly so she stopped reading, she looked at Rarity's jewelry but what really caught her eye was a box hidden out of reach from Sweetie Belle.
The box was big. Sweetie Belle thought that it was strange that Rarity hid it where Sweetie Belle couldn't reach it. That weirded Sweetie Belle out as she thought about the possibility that Rarity might be keeping a secret from her that she didn't want her to know. She knew that Rarity probably didn't want her to look through the box but she was to curious not to keep away from it so she went to look at it.
She climbed to where it was and grabbed it, she then climbed down and sat on the bed. She opened the box and she looked inside it to find documents she hadn't seen before. She started to read through the documents and she became very angry as she read some it the stuff that was said about her.
The documents talked about Sweetie Belle possibly having a learning disability and it also talked about all of her problems at home and at school, it made Sweetie Belle enraged, as she read more she became agitated, she was fuming with anger. She hated that her doctors and Rarity had talked badly about her. She formed a plan of payback in her head.
She quickly looked through Rarity's cupboard and found a box of matches, she went back to the room and looked through the documents one more time. She couldn't believe the nerve of them writing negative stuff about her, she was going to teach them a lesson. She wondered if she should really burn all of the important documents as she didn't want to make Rarity mad but she knew that she probably will make Rarity mad when she burns the documents that list all of the stuff about her.
She hesitated as she knew that she was going to get into trouble but she decided to do it, she dumped all of the documents into a trash bin and then set all them on fire and watch the huge collection of information burn up. She knew Rarity would be angry at her but she should've been asked first before she could get her private information documented.
She felt proud of herself, she knew she was going to get punished though she went down to the Ponyville River and dumped the ashes in the water, she then went inside her house and waited for Rarity to come back home, soon Rarity arrived back at her place and said hi to Sweetie Belle.
"Hey Sweetie Belle, what did you do while I was away?" Rarity asked her, Sweetie Belle formed a lie in her head and spoke.
"Oh I just hung out and played in my room...." Sweetie Belle lied as she knew that her lie wasn't going to work long when Rarity realized the documents were missing. Sweetie Belle started to sweat as Rarity put stuff away in her room. She knew that it was only a matter of time before Rarity realized what happened when she was away.
"You didn't go outside? It's a nice day out! You should get some exercise." Rarity told her, Sweetie Belle knew that if she went outside for a few hours then Rarity would be yelling at her about the documents when she got back. She contemplated on wether she should go outside to a park or something.
"Alright I'll go have some fun, I'll see you at dinner time Rarity!" Sweetie Belle said to Rarity. Rarity nodded and told her to have fun so Sweetie Belle left and went to a park while thinking about what will happen when she got back around dinner time, she was going to try to relax though before she faced her reality at home.
As she swung on the swings for an hour she thought about the possibility of a Rarity being able to discover the remains of all the documents that were now missing, she thought about the possibility of her angry reaction as she panicked and cursed. Sweetie Belle knew she was going to be in trouble when she got home.
She continued to swing on the swings for a few hours as she mulled over her fate, she hoped that Rarity wouldn't find out but she knew that it was inevitable so she tried to stay calm, she wished that she could stay away from Rarity for at least until tomorrow when Rarity calmed down from being angry with her but she knew that wasn't a good idea either.
She decided to stop delaying and go to meet her fate, she slowly walked back to her judgment, she soon saw Carousal Boutique as she got closer to it, a place that used to fill her hear with comfort when she saw it now filled her with dread, she stopped in front of of the door as she was nervous to go inside to meet her punishment.
She prayed that Rarity would go easy on her but she knew that wasn't going to be the case as she saw how important those documents that she burned were. She now wished that she didn't burn any but it was to late as she had already decided her fate, she couldn't fix what she did. She shouldn't have gotten so offended over them to burn them as the documents were probably there to help Rarity with keeping her information for her future trust funds and healthcare.
She finally decided to open the door and walk in and when she did that she saw Rarity standing there with her arms crossed as she glared at her. Sweetie Belle gulped as she closed the door.
"Do you know how much trouble your in Sweetie Belle? You can probably guess correctly." Rarity asked her. Sweetie Belle didn't know if she should answer that question. She hesitated as she looked at the floor.
"I'm in so much trouble that I wished I wasn't here right now." Sweetie Belle said, Rarity nodded and she spoke.
"You burnt all of the documentation that you needed for doctors appointments, information for school and your documentation for your life insurance is gone, I can't even begin to say how deep the hole you buried yourself in tonight, I know I'm not much for physical punishment but tonight makes me want to whoop your ass into next month." Rarity spoke with a hint of anger in her voice.
Sweetie Belle looked down in shame. She started to cry but she couldn't bring herself to wipe the tears away so they flowed freely down her face. She didn't have any excuses as she knew that Rarity was right. She deserved any punishment she got.
"I'm so angry right now Sweetie Belle! You can't believe how angry I am! Do you understand?! Your lucky I'm not yelling at you right now because if I was you wouldn't have any ear drums left!" Rarity spoke with anger laced into her calm voice.
"You burnt the most important information that was on you! You burnt your medical insurance documentation, you burnt your allergy information, all of it! It's all gone Sweetie Belle! There's nothing left! It will take years to get all of your information back! Why the fuck would do something like that Sweetie Belle!?" Rarity yelled as her voice got louder.
"I thought that you were keeping that information on me because you thought negative things of me and you hated me!" Sweetie Belle said shyly. Rarity couldn't believe Sweetie Belle would think such nonsense.
"Why would you think that?! That's not what that documentation was for! It was there to keep track of your progress in school and it was there so that you could use medical insurance for your doctor visits and it was there to keep track of how well you were doing in school! That's what it was for! And now since it's all gone I have to get another healthcare card for you which won't be easy!" Rarity yelled.
"Your going to get the harshest punishment believe me! I don't know if I should ground you or spank you! I was actually thinking of humiliating you out it public! That would be very fitting! I don't care if I get in trouble you deserve to punished right now!" Rarity said loudly. Sweetie Belle grew very fearful she hated being punished. She wished she didn't do what she did.
"But since your old enough I'm not going to spank you but your grounded for two months, your not allowed to leave the house for anything except school, you can read a book or something at home you can still have that, you are also going to be doing chores for two months. Your going to mow the lawn as your punishment and you can't see your friends due to your punishment and if you complain about how it's not fair I swear I'll spank you! Now go to your room I don't want to hear a sound from you for the rest of the night except for supper time! Your lucky I'm still going to feed you tonight! Now go!" Rarity spoke in anger.
Sweetie Belle ran to her room and slammed her door shut, she started to sob heavily. Rarity continued to make frantic phone calls about getting copies Sweetie Belle's information. She stayed in her room as she didn't want to talk to Rarity for the rest of the night as it would be awkward.
She hung out in her room until dinner time, she hesitated as she knew that dinner would be awkward, she hoped that Rarity didn't scold her there to or it would add to Sweetie Belle's embarrassment, She dreaded Rarity calling her for dinner as she didn't want to be scolded there.
Soon she was called out for dinner so Sweetie Belle walked slowly to the kitchen as she wrung he hands nervously, she started to sweat again, She tried to be tough though as Rarity served her. Rarity served herself some and they both ate.
Rarity and Sweetie Belle ate dinner in awkward silence as Sweetie Belle hoped that Rarity didn't yell at her then either, Rarity was silent though as she ate with mouth closed. It was so awkward, Sweetie Belle felt so embarrassed as she tried to look away from Rarity.
Sweetie Belle kept her eyes on her plate as she ate her meal, she prayed that Rarity didn't speak to her, she wanted to hide from the embarrassment but she tried to act normal and just exact her food without any complaints or glances at Rarity. Soon she finished and cleaned up after herself she then ran to her room as quick as she could.
She stayed in her room for the rest of the night she hoped that Rarity wouldn't tuck her in as she didn't want to be tucked in because it would be awkward after having Rarity yell at her. She hoped that Rarity wouldn't come to her room, she hung out for a few more hours and then got ready for bed. She then turned off her light and shut her bedroom door, she then tucked herself in and prayed that Rarity didn't come to her room to say goodnight as it would be embarrassing.
She was relieved that Rarity went to sleep without tucking her in as she would be mortified if Rarity did that while she was still angry with her. She went to sleep. The next day Rarity went out to get copies of all the documents that Sweetie Belle burned and once she did she put them away in a box and put it in her room, the weeks passed by quickly as Sweetie Belle served out her punishment quietly. She didn't complain about the punishment either.
The grounding went fast then expected, she did what she was told each day and when she went to bed each night she made sure that her door was closed right and she made sure her light was turned off and that she was asleep so that Rarity didn't bother her so that she couldn't make her feel awkward.
Soon more weeks went by as Sweetie Belle did what she was told and soon the two month punishment ended as Rarity made it clear to her one day that it was over but Sweetie Belle never realized this due to a miscommunication so she continued to serve out her punishment anyway.
Rarity didn't notice at first that Sweetie Belle was still serving her punishment until a few days after her punishment ended when Sweetie Belle was laying in her room while her friends were probably playing. Rarity grew concerned as Sweetie Belle never stayed inside that much so she went to Sweetie Belle's room and saw that Sweetie Belle was siting on her bed in silence.
"Sweetie Belle I've been very concerned about your recent behavior, it took me a while to notice that you have been acting strange, you don't play with your friends anymore, you stopped talking to me, you rarely say hello to anypony. I want to know what's wrong!" Rarity said.
"I can't hang out with my friends because I'm still grounded aren't I?" Sweetie Belle asked. Rarity was confused at first as she tried to think of what Sweetie Belle meant but then she realized that she punished Sweetie Belle for throwing away all those documents and she realized that her punishment ended a few days ago.
"Sweetie Belle your punishment ended a few days ago last week, your grounding has long been over with, I told you that it was over with! Why are you still serving out a punishment that has been ended?" Rarity asked, Sweetie Belle shrugged.
"I don't know, I heard you but I didn't comprehend that I wasn't grounded anymore so I just continued to act like I was grounded and i guess that's why I've been like this, I'm sorry if I worried you." Sweetie Belle said, Rarity couldn't believe that Sweetie Belle thought that she was still punished until now. She knew that next time she was going to have to be more clear to her about it.
"Next time I'll speak more clearly to you as you missed the memo, now go on and play with your friends, get some fresh air and communicate with me more, and please pay more attention in school if you want my help don't be afraid to ask, I won't mind helping you if you ask me. Don't destroy information ever again as I need that information, that information wasn't to insult you its to help you get better and it's to help you keep track of your insurance and other stuff. I hope you learned your lesson." Rarity said, Sweetie Belle nodded as she felt thankful for her offer. Sweetie Belle would make sure she never destroyed information again.
"Thanks Rarity! I'm going to hang out with my friends! I understand about the information now, I should have never acted like that! I'll never do something like that ever again!" She said as she left, Rarity watched her leave as she was glad that she solved the issue, she was going to speak more clearly next time so she wouldn't have that problem again. Sweetie Belle explained to her friends about why she hadn't been hanging out with them as she had thought she was still punished those last few days until she found out it had ended a while ago.
They understood and told her that they weren't mad at her, they then made up for all of the lost time that they had lost with Sweetie Belle because of the punishment and the miscommunication, Sweetie Belle got help from Twilight with her grades and she improved over the next few days, Cheerilee was happy that she improved.
Sweetie Belle resumed hanging out with her friends as they had a lot of time to make up for. She also became happier and she stopped moping, Rarity was glad that Sweetie Belle wasn't moping anymore and she was glad that her grades improved and she was glad that she was hanging out with her friends again, she was going to make sure that the miscommunication would never happen again. She hoped that Sweetie Belle didn't destroy information anymore. Sweetie Belle was happy again which made Rarity glad.
