This is an Alternate Universe side story to The Melody of the Heart.

Orion is a griffon that worked through blood, sweat, and tears to get to where he sits in the field of astronomy. He may have sacrificed friendships and social contact and gatherings. but he's finally where belongs. Nothing could make him happier

And yet, in spite of all that, he is utterly terrified at the prospect of attending a board game convention in Canterlot. Oh, and having to deal with ponies again.

If only he could say no to his marefriend.
