The mare’s cheeks were bright red. She didn’t make contact with her wife. “Fluttershy, do I really have to wear this?” Rainbow asked. Fluttershy nodded. “Oh, yes Rainbow. You look so cute.” Rainbow Dash stretched out her hooves, she was uncomfortable in the tight maid outfit. She covered her face when Fluttershy looked at her. “Come on, Fluttershy. You know I don’t like this stuff.” Fluttershy giggled. “Dashie, you said you would indulge me on my birthday.” “Well yeah…” “Indulge your wife?” Fluttershy made a pouty face. Damn she’s so cute! Rainbow Dash thought. “Alright fine! I’ll wear this stupid maid’s outfit!” Fluttershy squee. “Thank you! You’re the best!” Fluttershy threw her hooves around Rainbow. Rainbow blushed. “Yeah, no problem…” Rainbow Dash banged her head against the wall. Come on, Fluttershy. How long does it take for Rarity to take your measurements? Applejack raised an eyebrow. “Be patient now, Rainbow. I’m sure Rarity is just helping Fluttershy choose the right fabric and color.” “Uhhh, this is so boring though. I don’t care about any of this girly stuff,” Rainbow moaned. Applejack chuckled. “You really are the stereotypical lesbian couple aren’t you?” “What does that mean?!” “Nothing, darling. Don’t be so on edge, I’m sure Fluttershy is just around the corner.” Rainbow hadn’t been a big fan when Fluttershy wanted to get a wedding dress, at least the pink haired woman had conceded to letting Rainbow wear what she wanted. Of course Rarity was all too happy to make Fluttershy’s dress, for free. Rainbow slumped in her chair, she’d been waiting for an hour and a half. “Uhhh! I’m just gonna check on them.” Rainbow got up and headed towards the backroom. “Careful, darling. It’s bad luck to see the bride before the wedding!” Applejack called. “Bullshit! Like I care anyways.” Rainbow walked into the backroom. It was full of fabric and unfinished dresses. “Fluttershy! Where are you?” She went to a little area off to the side with a changing curtain. “Fluttershy?” “Oh, Rainbow, I-I, hold on a moment!” Fluttershy said. Rainbow snorted. “Come on, Fluttershy. We’re gonna get married in a few months.” She threw back the curtain. “I mean it’s not like-” To Rainbow’s surprise Fluttershy wasn’t naked, or even in her underwear. She was wearing a bunny outfit...Not the sexy kind… It was white, with long floppy ears, and a cotton tail. Stranger still was the fact that she was on all fours...sharing a carrot with Angel bunny. Fluttershy blushed. “Rainbow, I, can explain…” Rainbow took in a deep breath. “I, uh, I’m gonna go sit back down.” She closed the curtain, and went back to Applejack. “So, how much longer will it be?” Applejack asked. Rainbow slapped herself. “I, uh, I don’t know. Applejack, would now be a good time to start drinking? I think Fluttershy might have a weird fetish.” Applejack chuckled. “Can’t be stranger than Rarity’s. The thing’s that woman asks me to do. Well Rainbow, I’ll buy you a beer.” “Or twenty.” Applejack patted Rainbow’s back. “That’s the spirit!” Dear god, of all the things in the world...Rainbow thought, as she downed her twelfth beer, her world starting to become dizzy. “Alright, Scootaloo, what you wanna do is spread your wings, then flap em!” Rainbow said, giddy with excitement. Her enthusiasm was shared by the small orange pegasus. “Alright, alright, then what?” “Well, uh, I don’t know. You just sort of fly.” Scootaloo's scrunched up her face. “Yeah, but like how?” “Ummm, you just do.” Scotocealo face hoofed. “Rainbow Dash! That doesn’t help me! Fluttershy do you know how to help me?” The yellow pegasus blushed. “I’ve never been a good flyer. Anything I do know Rainbow taught me.” Rainbow put her hoof around the yellow mare. “See? I’m a great teacher! I even taught Fluttershy how to fly!” Fluttershy blushed. Rainbow nuzzled her neck. “Stop it, Fluttershy. You know I can’t resist you when you blush.” Rainbow kissed Fluttershy’s cheek, and bit the other mares ears lightly. “Gross! I don’t wanna see my sister do it with her girlfriend!” Scootaloo gagged. Rainbow ruffled the fillys mane. “Oh come on, you’ll be doing the same to your boyfriend when you’re older. Or girlfriend. Anyways just take my advice kid, you’ll do great.” “Ehhh, I don’t know.” Fluttershy cleared her throat. “Scootaloo, I know Rainbow might seem lazy, but flying is just something you have to do.” Scootaloo sighed. “Alright. So Rainbow, you said early the best way to learn was to jump off a cloud?” “Yep! That’s how my parents taught me!” Fluttershy buried her face in Rainbow’s mane. “Rainbow Dash! What if she gets hurt?” “Pssst. What if she gets hurt? That’s how you learn, most of the scars I have are from when i was a filly and my parents tossed me off a cloud.” She proudly held up her left hoof, displaying a series of scars. Scootaloo smiled. “Oooh, those are so cool! Alright, I’ll do it!” Rainbow and Fluttershy then flew Scootaloo up onto a cloud high above Ponyville. Then Rainbow kicked the orange pegasus off. Scootaloo tried flapping her wings, but they were inadequate for the job. She plummeted to the ground. Scraping past a large tree on her way down. Birds circled her vision when she made impact. Fluttershy was the first one to the filly. Thankfully she wasn’t dead, but her world was spinning and she had several small cuts across her body. “Oh Scootaloo!” Fluttershy cried, cradling the filly in her hooves. Scootaloo stirred. “Scootaloo, it’s Fluttershy, are you okay?” Scootaloo mumbled something. “What was that?” Rainbow asked. “That was so awesome!” Scootaloo cried. “I can’t believe that! Did you see how many branches I hit? I must have set a new record! I wanna go again!” Fluttershy fainted. Rainbow rubbed Scootaloo’s mane. “Another time kid. I gotta take Fluttershy home.” Rainbow Dash picked up the yellow mare in her hooves, and flew away. “Will she be okay?” Fluttershy asked. Rainbow smiled. “Scoots will be fine. But will you be fine?” Fluttershy blushed. “I’m not sure how much longer I could wait…” Rainbow planted a kiss on Fluttershy’s mouth. “Me either. Also, wear that pink one I like.” “You know I don’t like to…” “I’ll wear the green one.” Rainbow winked. Fluttershy blushed. “Well, okay…” Fluttershy nuzzled into Rainbow’s soft fur. Breathing in the sweet scent. Rainbow gently kissed her wife’s forehead. The fire crackled as the wind roared outside. It’d been a cold winter, Rainbow finally moved in with Fluttershy. Reluctantly, she hated not living in the sky. Angel bunny was asleep peacefully. Fluttershy stirred. “I love you.” Rainbow chuckled. “I know. You don’t have to keep reminding me.” “But I want to.” They looked into eachothers eyes, and kissed. Long, sweet, and beautiful. Their lips separated. Fluttershy snuggled back into Rainbow’s fur. Rainbow rested her head on top of Fluttershy’s. “I love you.” Fluttershy smiled. “I know.”
