I wake up to the sound of banging on my window. The hell is going on out there? I scratch my eyes and look over to my clock on my nightstand. 7:55 A.M. Who the hell would be waking me up at this time of the day. I pull back my curtains and look out only to find Fern standing outside. Damn that girl likes me so much she'll even go through the trouble of waking me up. I pull up my window and poke me head out.

"Oh morning Fands, sorry for waking you like this," Fern called out.

"Yeah morning, but seriously what the hell, can't you wait for 3 more hours before you come to-" I suddenly cut my statement short when I realize she wasn't wearing her usually hoodie and jeans outfit.

"Listen I'm not here for a date or whatever listen we need to go NOW," said Fern in a serious tone.

"Yeah no kidding I can see you wearing that outfit," I said.

"Cool you noticed, now get your things and come down already!" Fern called out.

"Ok hang be there in a second," I called back. I close my windows and grab the nearest pair of clean pants and put it on. I grab my black robe along with my cell phone and dash out the door. I quickly run downstairs and notice the light was on in the kitchen. I run in only to find my dad sitting on the chair reading the morning paper.

"Dad?" I ask.

"Oh morning son," he said sipping his coffee.

"What are you doing up so early," I ask.

"Got called into work again," he said. "You?"

"She woke me up," I answer.

"Going to clear up some problems with her I assume, be careful and take care of her also tell her I said hi," said my dad.

"Got it," I said. "Oh dad apple," I say. My dad grabs a bright red apple from the bowl and tosses it to me all while keeping his eyes on the paper. "Thanks," I said grabbing the apple as I ran out the door.

"Took you long enough," said Fern.

"Well sorry," I apologized sarcastically taking a bite out of my apple.

"At least your prepared as usual," said Fern.

"My dad told me to tell you he said hi," I said.

"Ok," said Fern. Her white T-shirt as well as her robe and scarf completely blended in with her white fur so it was pretty hard to tell whether she had actual clothing on.

"So what's up?" I asked.

"HE wants us," Fern answered.

"Oh great suppose someone is causing trouble again," I said.

"Don't know he said he'll tell us in person," said Fern.

"Alright then let's go," I said starting my way towards the town's plaza. Fern shrugged as she caught up with me and the two of us made our way.

As we made our way towards the plaza, I bought an apple for Fern and ran into a couple of the kids in the neighborhood. We eventually see the fountain up ahead and someone standing there.

"There he is," I said. The two of us quickly approach him as Fern called out to him.

"Syberius!" Syberius turns towards us and calls us over. Oh before I forget to mention Syberius is the advisor and messenger to Solar Flare, Magic Earth's Supernatural God and our teacher and tutor. To be honest neither of us would be as strong as we are now if it wasn't for Syberius.

"So you two came," he said.

"So what is it this time?" I asked.

"Well it's regarding the Element Prism," answered Syberius.

"Element Prism, you mean the one depicted in myths?" asked Fern.

"Exactly," answered Syberius. He pulled out a small box from his robes. He opened the box and held it forward to show us something. A small red crystal shard lay on top of a white cloth.

"Is this?" Fern asked.

"Yes it's the Blaze Shard," answered Syberius.

"The Blaze Shard?" I asked. "If this is the Blaze Shard then that means,"

Syberius nodded,"Recently Oblivion attacked Crystal Temple in attempts to get his hands on the Element Prism,"

"Oblivion attacked you guys!?" Fern yelped.

"Solar Flare told me to destroy the Prism while he held Oblivion off, of course I hesitated at first but I realized that this was the only way we could prevent him from getting the Prism,"

"That Damn bastard," I growled. I guess I should mention, Oblivion is the leader of The Sinister Legion which is an organization trying to erase all they consider not worthy of living not caring whether or not the victim is good or bad.

"Right now Solar Flare has given orders to his followers stating that they must find all Element Prism's Shards before Oblivion and The Sinister Legion can get to them," said Syberius.

"And he wants us to help them," said Fern.

"Exactly," said Syberius.

"But wait where are the rest of the shards?" I asked.

"I'm afraid I can't help you with that," said Syberius. "Solar Flare wishes for you two to accomplish this mission on your own," said Syberius.

"Alright we'll help but we'll need to tell our parents what we'll be doing," I said.

"Take your time," said Syberius. Both of us took out our phones and started texting and sent our messages to our parents. Several seconds later both of us got a response stating yes. We nod at Syberius indicating that we were ready for our mission. "Alright first things first head over to Equestria and talk with Princess Celestia and explain to her our current situation," said Syberius.

"Got it," I said.

"Oh and one last thing," said Syberius stopping us. He took out the Blaze Shard and handed it to me. "Take this you'll be needing it," I took the shard and placed it in my robe. "I wish you both luck you'll be needing it," said Syberius as he walked past us and in the direction of Crystal Temple. Fern and I both looked at each other and nodded.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Ready," answered Fern.

"Alright let's do this," I said holding up my hand. My hand began to glow in a blue aura as a portal suddenly appeared before us. On the other side of the portal we could see Celestia's Castle. "See you on the other side," I said as I walked through the portal. Fern sighed as she followed me in.

It was a beautiful day in Equestria and Twilight and Starlight had been invited to Celestia's Castle for breakfast that morning.

"This is delicious Princess," said Twilight shoving another piece of pancake in her mouth.

"I told you she's good at making breakfast," said Starlight.

"I appreciate the compliment you two," said Celestia.

As Fern and I continued to follow the royal guard through the halls of Celestia's castle, I clutched the Blaze Shard in my hand. The heat from the shard was warm and comforting it made me feel sleepy.

"We've arrived," said the guard stopping short in front of a pair of doors. The guard knocked on the door with his hooves and said,"Princess you have some visitors," After a second the guard opened the door and let us through. Walking in we appeared to have entered the Castle's dinning hall.

"Wow pretty," said Fern.

"Welcome visitors," a voice spoke up. We looked over to the table to see three ponies sitting eating a plate of food. The big white mare with a rainbow colored mane, obviously Princess Celestia, walked over to us.

We both get to our feet and bow our heads,"Your Majesty it's an honor to meet you," said Fern.

"My, my what formal greetings," said Celestia. "But yes nice to meet you too,"

"I am Fandom Players but my friends just call me Fands," I said.

"And I'm Fern Fandom's Girlfriend," said Fern.

"Nice to meet you I'm Princess Celestia," said Celestia.

"Yes we know," I said.

"What you do?" Celestia asked surprised.

"Yes we come from Magic Earth," said Fern.

"Oh our neighbors," said Celestia. "Well then I suppose you should know these two," said Celestia calling over the two ponies.

"Ah yes Princess Twilight Sparkle and her pupil Starlight Glimmer," I said.

"Yes we've heard of you," said Fern.

"Well I guess we won't need to introduce ourselves then," said Twilight.

"So what brings you two here?" asks Starlight.

"We've been sent her by our God Solar Flare to ask for your assistance," answered Fern.

"Our assistance?" asked Celestia.

Fern and I look at each other and nod. I explain to Celestia, Twilight, and Starlight our current situation, about The Sinister Legion, Oblivion, the Prism shards, and vice versa. Once we were done Celestia's smile had faded away and was replaced by a frown. She scratched her chin with her hoofs trying to make her decision.

"Please Princess you're the only ones who can help us," Fern pleaded.

"It seems dangerous," said Celestia. "But you say that The Sinister Legion could be here in Equestria?"

"Well we don't know for sure, but if they do come here it'll be better if you had us by your side," I answer.

"Well what do you think Princess?" asked Twilight.

"I suppose it could be done, we are neighbors after all," answered Celestia.

"Thank you so much," said Fern.

"So you say there are a total of eight shards?" asked Starlight.

"Yes I have one of them," I answer showing the three the Blaze Shard.

"It's rather small," said Twilight.

"Even so it could end up as a dangerous weapon if it falls into the wrong hands," said Fern.

"Understood, we'll search around Equestria for these shards," said Celestia.

"Is there anyway you could contact us?" I ask.

"I suggest you take Twilight and Starlight with you, she might be able to help," answered Celestia.

"Great thanks," said Fern.

"Come on you two let's go," I said. Twilight and Starlight happily trotted over to us as we walked out the door.

"I wish you all luck," mumbled Celestia as she walked out of the castle.

Chapter 1 complete. So now the journey begins. Let's hope the four can get to the shards before anyone else.
