Batman:Mission Equestria

3rd P.O.V

Six guards were on the roof of the Ponyville Police Department, or PPD for short. There was one sniper and five guards, each armed with a assault rifle's. Two stood guard near the edge of the helipad, while two guarded the maintenance elevator. The sniper was on the roof of a storage room, while the last guard patrolled around the roof. The two guards were having a conversation, unaware of a strange shadow that moved quickly over the sniper.

"Why the hay do we have to guard this roof?! I mean seriously, who in their right mind would want to break in here?" Asked the first guard or as some ponies would call them, thugs.

"I don't know man, it's the boss's orders. According to her, the leader of her and her friend's partner ship says that it's necessary. She says it's something that her boss said, something about 'a bat'......" Answered the 2nd thug as he checked his gun to see if it was loaded or not.

The shadowy figure is seen on top of an old radio tower, looking down at the sniper with glowing white eyes. The sniper heard the rustle of what sounded like a cape above him, so he looked up. Once he looked up, his eyes grew to the size of plates. Then the figure dropped down and grabbed him, as the pony was too paralyzed with fear to move.

"A bat? Why should we worry about some dumb old Ba-" Before the thug could finish. A loud scream over where the sniper was, was heard.

"What hay was that?!" Shouted the thug as the 2nd one quickly loaded his gun.

"I don't know, let's check it out. HEY YOU TWO!!!" -he directed the yell to the two thugs, who were guarding the entrance to the maintenance elevator- "You cover our backs, while we check out what that noise was and you!" -he pointed a finger at the lone thug that was patrolling the roof- "You watch for anything fishy." He finished as the thugs nodded at his command.

The four thugs moved up a staircase toward where the scream had come from, one of the thugs seemed a bit nervous though.

"I-I- I don't know about this man....what if what that loony leader says is true? You know that the Bat is coming? I mean, he told me stories. He said once that this Batman guy killed a man, before sucking his own blood...." The thug said all of this fearfully, making one thug nervous.

The one that was leading the thugs sighed in annoyance and anger, before saying. "Quit, ya ninny! The leader already admitted that even if this 'Batman' was real, that it would be impossible for him to be here. Besides, there ain't no such thing as a bat! Even if there was, so what? There's four of us and only one of hi-WHAT IN THE NAME OF CELESTIA?!?!"

The reason the guard screamed that last part, was because the sniper was hanging upside down from a rope. A rope which was connected to a pole that was on the old radio tower, on top of the pole was a shadowy figure that was covered in black and had glowing white eyes.

"What the ha-?" Before the thug could finish, the thug that was hanging was cut down and dropped on top of him.

Startled, the three thugs that were left started shooting the pole repeatedly. But not for long.....because, before they could react, a small pellet was dropped onto the ground by the shadowy figure.

"What in the-?!" before the thug could finish, the pellet ejected smoke that covered the area around the three of them "-*Cough, cough* Smoke?!" the thug said as he coughed and coughed, due to the smoke.

The shadowy figure then dropped down and took down one of the thugs as another thug said, "Yo, Quill! You alright? Silver? Ya dummy tal-" He was cut off by a scream near him.

The thug started to get nervous as he heard the rustling of a cape near him, that scared him a lot. So he started to fire his gun in that direction, only to run out of ammo. The minute he was about to re-load, a gloved hand grabbed him by the shirt. The last thug, that was patrolling earlier, had heard the screaming and looked absolutely terrified. As he looked on into the smoke, where his friends had been screaming and vanished, he saw a figure and it scared the taurtis out of him. The figure looked like something out of fairytale or even a horror movie to him, what made it worse was that it was a giant bat.

The very same bat that his boss's boss had told one of his friends about. He instantly paled because of not only remembering the stories that the boss's boss had told, but because the giant bat like figure had turned it's head at him and stared at him with it's narrowing white demon like eyes. The thug quickly turned away and was ready to run, but something grabbed one of his hooves and started to pull him towards the giant bat. Inch by inch and moment by moment, he got pulled closer and closer until he was directly infront of the giant bat. The giant bat slowly picked up the terrified stallion and looked him in the eyes with his piercing white eyes.

When he spoke, his voice was smooth and low. "You and me are going to have a chat, a chat about your boss and if you refuse....then I'll share you, your friends pain because I know pain.....and sometimes I like to share it, but only with ponies or people that don't corporate. So I'd suggest that you talk, after all...." -the giant bat slowly brought the thug and positioned him over the side of the building- "I bet your friends would want to clean up whats left down there......." This terrified the pony even more as he shook with fear.

He then said with a terrified voice, "O-ok m-man I-I'll t-talk, w-what'd y-ya wanna know?"

The bat pulled him close and looked him in the eyes as he said, "I want to know what what your boss is planning...or I can drop you, if you drop you'll survive. But not for long.....you'd die of blood loss. So, are you going to play nice or am I going to have get my new gloves all bloody?" The stallion's eyes visibly turned to pinpricks at the last part.

"So...your boss is keeping an element of harmony inside this building?" The bat asked, still holding the thug.

The thug nodded very fast as he answered, "Yes! She has I think her name was Pinkie Pie and also Captain Spike! J-just don't kill me man! Don't kill me!"

The bat then said in a cold voice, "I'm not going to kill you, I got what I needed. But if you escape from here I want you tell your friends, your pals, whoever you work with. My name...."

The thug was even more scared and said a low and scared voice, "W-who are you?"

The bat pulled him closer and said, "I'm Batman...."

Before the thug could react, he knocked the thug out and went over to the maintenance elevator shaft.
