》I Have Faith In What I See《
To say Twilight was nervous is an understatement, for she wasn't, she was absolutely terrified!
The day had finally came. The day she both awaited and dreaded. Her date with Sunset Shimmer. And she couldn't be more petrified.
That's why she called upon Rarity and Sunny Flare for assistance! Only they weren't that much help than she anticipated.
Rather than giving her advice in what are the do's and don't's when on a date, and maybe about doubts also, they pretty much just helped her from what she should wear.
"Twilight,darling. I know you want the image of sophistication, but there is a thing as too much collars." Rarity's posh voice announced as she puts back yet another collared t-shirt.
"I agree. I've seen Sugarcoat's closet and even she doesn't need this much collared shirts." Sunny remarked as she continued to look through the closet for any other article of clothing that doesn't consist of a collar.
From her spot on the bed, Twilight didn't utter a word as she continued to watch the two girls ruffle through her closet.
While they were occupied with her closet, she was occupied with her thoughts.
Ok,today's the day. There's no turning back now. You've been wanting this for months now and Sunset did make the first move. But what if I mess something up? What if Sunset doesn't want to talk to me again after this?! What if she do-.
Twilight's thoughts were cut off as piece of dark clothing was held infront of her by Rarity and Sunny from the sleeves of the dress.
She squints her eyes to see it was the pinafore dress Cadence got her last christmas eve with a stripped long sleeved shirt underneath and a black front.
"This is perfect,now go change so we can get started on hair and make up."
Before she can even say anything, both girls had push her the dress and was pushed to her personal bathroom.
Not even bothering to say a word, Twilight got inside and begins to strip off her clothes.

"Aaaaand vóila!" Sunny and Rarity both exclaimed as they took a step back to admire their master piece.
Twilight's hair was styled in a half up half down braid with the still curled strands present.
Her make up was consisted with just a tinge of blush, dark purple eye shadow, and a touch of pink lipstick. Her glasses were replaced with contact lenses so she still had to get use to the feeling,but just in case she tucked her glasses away in her purse.
"Soooo? What do you think?" Sunny asked,excited to hear Twilight's response.
Twilight took a good look at herself in the mirror and she was to say the least impressed by their work. Although it was only light make up, the feeling was foreign considering she only wears make up on occasions she deemed were needed.
"W-wow. I'm impressed. Thank you girls." Twilight commented. Both Sunny and Rarity squealed in delight to their acheivement.
The bell's ringing was heard throughout the whold household,indicating that Sunset has arrived. Putting on her black converse, Twilight along with Rarity and Sunny were at the front door.
Twilight slightly hesistated in opening the door as her mind wanders off to what Sunset's reaction might be. Taking a breath and releasing it, Twilight twisted the knob and opened the oak door where she was greeted by the smile of Sunset Shimmer.
Sunset was a bit taken back with the sight of Twilight that she almost staggered on the steps. Don't get her wrong, Twilight did look magnificently beautiful. It's just the fact that Twilight rarely wears make up and she didn't take her as the kind of person to wear a dress like that is kind of a shocker, without the glasses also is kind of off putting.
"Wow." Sunset said awed as she took in the image of her date, who in turn blushed as Sunset stared at her.
"Je comprends pourquoi mignon et beau est égal à toi." Sunset commented, ignoring the confused sounds of Rarity and Sunny, as she held out her hand for Twilight to take in her grasp. "You ready to go?"
Twilight gave off a nervous chuckle and smile, if possible she blushed even more, as she took Sunset's hand in hers.
Both girls can hear Sunny and Rarity squeal as they parted ways to begin their own day.
●||Time Skip||●
So far their date was a success like most couples dates are. Everything went swimmingly and according to schedule .
Rather than going to the movies though, they went to the science muesem and planetarium. Oh well, learning is everything suppouse.
Afterwards they went to a nearby dinner where Pinkie coincidentally works and happens to be their waitress. In which resulted on them not having a moment for themselves since Pinkie randomly pops out of nowhere and keeps interrupting their conversations; when they would jump to another topic Pinkie interrupts.
But they were never the less happy to have their friend there with them.
At the end of the day however, Sunset surprised Twilight by bringing her up a hill where the view overlooked all of Canterlot City and with the setting sun's last few rays coating the city, it gave a perfectly picturesque view; which just added a bit more romance in the air.
Twilight gaped at the view as she turned to Sunset to see her smirking at her expression."Sunset this is incredible!"
Sunset chuckled removing her flannel shirt and layed it down on the grass, leaving her in her black tank top.
The back of the shirt was luckily long enough so it provided space for both of them to sit on.
After sitting down,a peaceful silence took over as the two girls just gaze at the splendid view before them as the minutes passed. However, Sunset was looking at a different view.
Twilight knew Sunset was staring at her but she couldn't find it in herself to return her gaze, but as a few more minutes passed and Sunset still hadn't averted her gaze,she asked. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"I don't know, probably because i'm more intrigued in the view beside me rather than what's infront of me." Was Sunset's reply as her stare continues to linger at Twilight's form as she noticed how she had suddenly became stiff.
"Is it bothering you?"
"No! No! It's just a bit overwhelming and I kinda have a nagging feeling in my head but it's fine,really." Twilight returned Sunset's gaze with a smile of her own, Sunset picked up right away on how unsteady her smile really is.
Placing her hand on Twilight's shoulder, Sunset asked. "Hey, if something's bothering you, you know you can talk to me about it right?"
Twilight was contemplated to say her problem to lift the weight that's been hanging on her shoulders for days now. Looking at Sunset's reassuring eyes gave her the courage she needed.
Releasing a sigh, Twilight spoke with unease." You remember last wednesday when you didn't see all afternoon?" Sunset gave a nod and Twilight resumed. "Well..."
●||Flashback||●
Twilight made a mad dash to her locker to retrieve her essentials needed for her afternoon classes.
She was so busy and so cooped up on her experiment back at her provided lab that she didn't notice the clock or the bell ring and now she was 5 minutes late to class.
With one last turn to get to her destination, Twilight stopped abruptly as a peculiar sight made her heart wrench inside and made her retrace her steps and peek from the corner.
Sunset was with another girl. And from the looks of it, the girl was more likely flirting with her by the way they wrapped their arm around Sunset's.
Twilight couldn't really identify the girl considering she still doesn't know half of the students in CHS.
Since she was at a far distance she couldn't really hear what they were talking about.
She watched as the girl pushed Sunset gently to the row of lockers and her face inching closely to her's and Sunset did nothing to stop their motives.
Not wanting to witness how it will escalate, Twilight fled from the scene as far away as possible, which led her to the library.
Not even caring that she was late for class, Twilighglt leaned against a book shelf and regain her breathing.
She recalled the short event that happened and her insides clench as her head drifts to different scenarios in what is possibly happening with Sunset and the girl.

"That's why you haven't seen me all wednesday afternoon." Twilight finished,her sight anywhere but Sunset's.
"I just...I just thought that...with all the other girls out there that are more pretty and interesting. I wondered,why me?" She took a breath and then resumed, this time her eyes met Sunset's.
"I started thinking negative and then thought of all of this is...a bet. But by the way you asked me out, I was sure that you were sincere and that's why I called upon Rarity and Sunny about doubts but instead of talking it out like I planned, I let them embellish me...i'm such a coward." Twilight sighed and avoided Sunset's eyes again.
"I thought the first time it happened it was okay...but the more I saw that practically almost every girl at CHS throw themselves at you and I...I ju-." Her sentence was cut off as she felt Sunset's hand took hold of her chin and turned it to face her.
They stayed that way for a few seconds until Sunset reached her hand up and then Twilight's vision blurred and she felt something cool and wet was wipped across her face. Her vision returned when she felt the familiar plastic between her nose. She blinked as she realize that Sunset replaced her contact lenses with her glasses and removed her make up. She watched as the older girl pulled them both up their feet.
Sunset let's go of her hand and then did a gentleman like bow and once more offered her hand to Twilight. Even though she was confused, Twilight curtsied then took Sunset's hand in her own.
They positioned themselves into a waltz and Sunset took the lead as they swayed to the song she sang gently as a soft breeze past through them.
At the end of the song both girls stayed in their position, Twilight's arms circled around Sunset's neck, the latter on the girl's waist, and both bodies pressed against one another. A moment of silence past as Sunset spoke.
"No matter how many girls are out there throwing themselves at me and no matter how many times you try to deny that you aren't perfect for me, you should get this into your head. You're the one I want...your the one I love." Twilight's eyes widend at the last word of Sunset's sentence.
Love...love...love...She loves me...This wasn't some merely crush, she loves me. Sunset truely loves me for me.
"I...I..." Twilight was at loss for words as she couldn't process a proper sentence.
"You don't have to say it. Just having you here with me in my arms is enough for me to know that you have deep regards for me as well. I ho-." Sunset stopped herself as a pair of soft lips meet hers in a gentle kiss as Twilight pulled Sunset closer.
Taken back at first, Sunset slowly reciprocated as she presses her body against Twilight's and slowly closed her eyes.
It may have been just a few seconds but to them it felt like eternity as they slowly parted gazing into each others eyes as Twilighy breathed out. "I love you. I always had been."
Smiling, Sunset tenatively brought her lips back to meet the younger girl's as they shared another kiss as the sun disapeared from the horizon and was replaced by the luminescent moon and glistening stars.
