Prologue: Before His Arrival (A Little Bit of Twikantos for feels)
In Ponyville The Day After Icy Wastes Interlude 1 :
Twilight Sparkle didn’t know how to feel. Blueblood was coming to stay with her and Arkantos. Ark hadn’t really met Blueblood so his opinion on it was ‘why not?’ But Twilight and her friends had dealt with him before. He was… sort of assy the last time. Stuck up, pompous, and really, really unlikable.
Celestia KNEW how she and her friends felt about him, yet still she seemed all in with the idea of Blueblood coming to live with Twilight and Arkantos, and from what the letter said, make up for past transgressions.
Twilight didn’t feel it was a good idea for her friends to initially see Blueblood, at least until she was sure he wasn’t trying to get something out of this.
“Still trying to think?” Ark’s voice startled her, but she was calmed as his arms wrapped around her. “You know, he’s not coming for another day…”
“Yeah, just… with how he’s acted around my friends the few times we’ve dealt with him…” Twilight relaxed back into Ark’s body. “And, just with his ‘friends’... I don’t know if I want them that close to our fo-”
“If any of his ‘friends’ show up, I’ll set our personal guards to protect the nursery.” Ark assured, kissing Twilight’s horn. “Don’t worry.”
She shivered, slowly setting down the letter she was holding and putting both her hands on his arms. “Alright…”
“Besides. We both have a week to deduce his true motives. We did agree to let Cadance and Shining watch them for a while.” He chuckled. “Besides, when has he ever done something like this, didn’t you say before he’s never left Canterlot? And then Celestia suggests he comes to us?”
“Yeah… True.” She nodded, looking up at him. “What are you getting at?”
“I say we both give him a chance. If he fucks up horribly, we can send him back to Canterlot. No issues. And if he doesn’t well… there you go, he’s being honest and does want to change.” He said, bopping her on the nose.
She giggled softly, “Alright. I’ll give him a chance.” She kissed him. Ark shifted a hand off her body and she yelped as she heard a cracking. She was then lifted into his arms. “Ark! Stop breaking the cha-”
“It was in the way.” He stated firmly kissing Twilight deeply. “And… I have something special to give you on your special day.” He paused for a moment. “Well… Extra special day.” He laughed. His foot came down and he broke the chair completely.
“You just hate those chairs.”
“No, I hate anything that holds you that isn’t me.” He teased. “So…” He laid her down on the table. Her magic lit up and she locked down the room they were in. “Let's break this table into pieces.” He growled. She teleported their clothes off.
“Pfft… the table? A little underwhelming… what are you, tired? Are you even my husband?” She joked, wrapping her arms around his neck. “Let’s tear the whole house down…” She cooed.
“Good idea… Though… that’s only after we ruin each other.” He grinned, spreading her legs. “Though…”
“Oh don’t worry… I’ll tell you if I want to try for more foals… right now, two little demons is enough.” Twilight laughed. “Now, stop worrying, stop thinking, and lets just fuck already.”
“With…” Ark began hauling himself up onto the table and pressing his already rock hard cock against her slit. “Pleasure.”
Several long hours later:
Twilight nuzzled into Ark’s neck as he laid her down in their (magically protected) bed. “Mmmm… and they say foals kill passion…”
“You just have to say the word and I’ll still be all over you… Hell, you don’t even have to say anything.” He cooed, kissing all over her face. She giggled softly, returning the kisses.
“Just not in front of anypony… if we get some time alone in here, I definitely wouldn’t complain about a little ride…” She whispered, receiving a soft squeeze to her plot.
“Neither would I.” He chuckled, kissing her deeply. “Mmmm, it’s a really good thing my magic can effect cum… otherwise Spike would have a hell of a t- Wait… where was Spike when we started?”
“With Rarity.” Twilight laughed. “Don’t worry. I wouldn’t have allowed you to rut me that hard and for that long if Spike were here.” She grinned, shaking her hips a little causing him to shiver as her walls massaged his cock in only the way she could.
“Rearing to go another round?” He laughed. “You know we have no chance of beating our record… not unless you want to lock us away for a year…” He slowly licked her neck.
“Don’t tempt me… I might, and we’d end up with even more foals…” She giggled, “And… no, I just want to rest here with you.”
“I’ll do anything you want… so long as I get to keep holding you.” He grinned, pulling her in tighter. “I love you, so, so much Twilight.”
“I love you too, Ark… I always will.” Twilight nestled herself up against him as he draped the blankets over their bodies.
Ark buried his face into her mane, and for the first time in months she felt him begin to actively cry. “Gods…” He muttered.
“What’s wrong?” She pulled back and cupped his cheeks.
The smile on his face told her nothing was wrong. “You, Twilight… you’re what’s wrong.”
She smiled a little. “Don’t go lying to me now. You tell me every single night how perfect I am.”
“Yes… you are perfect.” Ark smiled, hugging her tightly. “So damn perfect it hurts…”
“If the next words you say are, ‘I don’t deserve you.’ Shut it, and just kiss me.”
“No. Those weren’t going to be my next words.”
“Then what were you going to say, hm?”
“I’ve never been more happy in my life than I am now… I have a family of my own, a goddess for a wife… and I can settle down at night with her… never have I had to spend more than a night away from you. I don’t care how magically powerful our foals our… they could have lacked all magic for all I cared. So long as I get the chance to raise them… and spend every night right here with you.” Ark said, kissing her deeply. “Gods… nine months ago I was a fool to think that was love… now that I know what you’re really like, and how you act during your best and worst… This… THIS not just the sex, not just the kissing… This being with you, every waking hour we can be… knowing that there’s no room in either of our hearts, minds, or souls for anyone else… This is love. And I couldn’t be happier that I get to love you.”
Twilight nuzzled into his neck, tears beginning to form in her eyes. “Shut it… a-and just hold me… you silly, stupid… lovable…” She mumbled, hugging him tightly.
“I love YOU Twilight Sparkle… I’ll always love you.” Arkantos whispered, running his fingers through her mane.
“I love you too, Arkantos… Please… please…”
“That’ll never be a worry… I’ll never abandon you… not if I’m still sane and in control. You, Whisper, and Inferno are my life. I’ll give my own last breath to make sure you three never get hurt…”
“No you won’t… You’ll never leave us… You’ll survive everything! I ca… CAN’T live without you…”
“Then I won’t die… I’ll destroy death when it tries to take me from your arms... “ Arkantos cooed. “I’ll serve you it’s skull on a silver platter… and then hold you so tight, you’ll never leave my arms again… It’d take Celestia and Luna combined to yank you away from me. And even they’ll have to fight through hell to do it.” He nuzzled her warmly. She sniffled softly and snuggled in tighter, pressing against his body for warmth and comfort. No more words were shared as the two dozed off, falling asleep in eachothers love and warmth.
A day later:
Blueblood was quiet during his entire train ride. He was too deep in thought to really even speak if anypony had tried to talk. The only thing that snapped him back to reality was the train lurching to a stop.
“Alright you can do this… it's what you want.” He tried to ready himself. But, before he could his hosts appeared in front of him.
Arkantos was smiling a little, in his full suit of plate mail made specifically for him. It held a strange symbol on the chest, and unlike most ceremonial (which it wasn't) armor it had no cloak or cape.
Twilight was dressed less regally, in just her usual dress, her crown completely missing. He was surprised to see that she too was smiling. “Hello, Blueblood.” She greeted. “It’s great to see that you actually arrived.”
“Yes… it’s um, nice to be here.” Blueblood smiled slightly, standing up and holding his hand out. Arkantos shook it.
“It’s nice to finally meet you Blueblood.” Arkantos said.
“Likewise, Arkantos.”
“So, what made you decide to change your outlook on life?” Twilight asked.
“Just… Tharian’s most recent arrival, and how the nobles were ready to treat him and his group. It was… sickening.” Blueblood explained. “And… I know I’ve never said it to either of you or your foals… But I’m sorry for being silent when they called your foals monsters.”
Twilight’s smile grew a little. “As long as you’ve never said it… well, since you’re apologizing, we can both more than forgive you.” She looked to Arkantos who was likewise smiling wider. “Why don’t we take you to our home? We… haven’t really cared much for getting a castle our anything more than our house. It’s homely… and there’s no reason to change, right?”
“If I may ask… Why aren’t you wearing your crowns?” Blueblood inquired.
“Ah, right. I’ve been denied mine… and I could careless. Worthless piece of garnishing in my opinion.” Arkantos waved. “This…” He motioned to his armor. “Is enough to get the point of who I am across.”
“My husband’s a bit more open and approachable after his saving of Canterlot… and well, I want to be just as approachable. We both want ponies to feel as though they can come to us if they have a problem.”
“Really? I…” Blueblood began. “Does… it work like that?”
Twilight and Ark both laughed a little. “Most of the time, yes. A lot of ponies are still scared of Ark… just not for him being dangerous. Just because he’s human.” Twilight explained. “Though… they do approach him when he’s with the guard, or out walking with our foals.” She giggled. “They find him being such a doting father to be adorable. Oh my…” She shook her head.
“And, what about you, Twilight?”
“Well, yes it does. But… that’s because the ponies in town know me well by now.” Twilight nodded.
Blueblood closed his eyes and thought for a moment. He then reached up and took his own crown off. “Well… even if it doesn’t work… it’s worth a sho-”
“Actually Blueblood… Uh, Twilight and I already laid out a few plans for you.” Arkantos began. “I was actually going to take you out to train a little bit, get at least the guard to trust you. From there, hopefully you’ll get a bit healthier and perhaps have a few friends.”
“Then we’d introduce you to the other ponies in town. Of course, hopefully the other guards would’ve spread the word that you’re in town trying to well… be friendly.” Twilight nodded.
“It’ll also give us time to fill you in on everything in town… and well, find out what you’re truly good at.” Ark finished.
“Oh. Alright.” Blueblood smiled slightly. “Um, Twilight… there are a few pon-”
“I figured. Um… I think it’s best you wait to speak to them. Just in case. We… want you to at least enjoy your time here so you’ll stay. And if they turn you away… it might be a bit disheartening.”
“Ah… Okay. So um, if I may ask one more question. I haven’t eaten since last night… I was to nervous to really eat dinner even…”
“Great! I’ll make breakfast for us all then. It’ll just be the three of us for a while… After Spike’s done helping Rarity he’s heading up the the Crystal Empire to help take care of our foals… They’ll be coming back at least by the end of the week. So… enjoy your last few nights of restful sleep.” Ark joked, a magical slap to his shoulder. “It’s a jooooke. I miss Whisper and Inferno way way too mu-”
“I know.” Twilight laughed. “Now… the guards will deliver your suitcas-”
“Suitcase. I uuh… only brought clothes and some things to wash with.” He admitted. “I… Didn’t really know what to pack and I wanted to do it on my own.” He chuckled quietly.
“Great! That means less time wasted in unpacking! Let’s go back to the house!” Twilight grinned, her horn lit up and the three were teleported to her treehouse.
“Why don’t you go sit down and we can talk for a little bit while Ark makes breakfast?” Twilight offered.
“That’d be great!” Blueblood nodded as Arkantos ducked into the kitchen.
“So, what did you intend to do here?” Twilight asked.
“Just… learn a little more about what life is like. And… find something I’m good at?” He offered.
“You don’t know.”
“I don’t know.” Blueblood shook his head.
Twilight just started laughing. “Oh this is going to be a great few days…” She shook her head.
“Hey… I’ve…”
“Don’t worry. I was in your… uh well, a similar position once.” Twilight assured. “Given enough time you’ll settle in here and hey… you might find somepony who’ll go back to Canterlot with you so you’ll never have to worry about being alone again.”
Blueblood thought for a moment. “Hey… um, if you know, you already said Ark was going to train me… right?”
“Yeah. Just exercising and his morning run. Why?”
“Do… you think he’ll actually train me? Like…”
“If you ask, and he deems you capable of being able to handle it, I’m sure he will.” Twilight smiled. “Just give it some time, alright? You JUST got here.”
“Sorry… just…”
“Excited?”
“Yeah. Really excited.” Blueblood nodded. “I… expected you two would reject me.”
“I… was going to. But, Ark gave me a few good reasons as to why I should give you a second chance.” Twilight explained. “I was going to give you only a chance but… I think… hope I’m a good judge of character, and well… from what I’ve seen and from what you’ve said so far… well, you’re welcome to stay here with us.”
“Thank you, Twilight… it makes me feel a little hopeful that everything will go as smoothly as this.” Blueblood relaxed back.
“Just… give it a bit of time. And yes, yes it will.” Twilight nodded as the scent of food flooded the air. “And now he begins…” She sighed, staring longingly at the doorway to the kitchen.
“Why don’t you go he-”
“If I enter the kitchen he’ll kick me out. He may be a pyromancer but… yeah. I’m the only one who can sneak a flame past him.” Twilight just started laughing. “I’ll let him work… just wait, you’ll see exactly why he and Spike are the ones who cook around here…”
“Mmmm… I can’t wait, it already smells amazing.” Blueblood sighed, just sniffing at the air.
Twilight grinned, “This is what you’ll be treated to every day you spend here…”
