Heart broken and distressed over the break up with his ex, Spike is sent on an important mission with Twilight to the Crystal Empire during a special celebration and must navigate his way through the passion of romance, zebra representatives from Zebrica who hate his guts for an event he didn't even take part in, a bitter fight with Twilight and her mate and an obsessed god trying to find love himself in a mortal as Spike and Twilight slowly come to terms with the unknown feelings they harbored for each other after so many years.
