Episode 2: Jewel's Special Magic
After a week in the medical wing, Jewel injuries were healed and now she was walking with her new friends in New Ponyville.
“It’s all so peaceful,” she complimented.
"Yea. So Jewel, what do you wanna do first?" Starla asked. Jewel’s stomach growled and she blushed in embarrassment. “How about getting some food? That hospital food wasn't quite filling, hehehe." Jewel explained.
“Don’t worry, we know a friend who makes the best food,
The gang took Jewel to Cookie Dough’s Restaurant and entered. A blue alicorn came in wearing a chef’s hat and apron.
“Ah, Lighting and friends, what can I do for you all?” he asked.
“Hi Cookie, this is our new friend Jewel.” Artie introduced.
"Hello Jewel." Cookie greeted back.
Jewel’s stomach growled again and she blushed.
“Oh my, I will not have this, not in my restaurant,” Cookie said.
Before Jewel knew it, she was eating the most delicious meal of bacon, eggs and sausage with a side of milk. It was the best meal she ever had! The gang watched her devour her food and smiled.
After a while, Jewel ate so much that her stomach was rather bloated.
"Ah that was sooo goood," She sighed in content. The gang giggled as they approached her,
"Had a nice breakfast?" Artie asked.
"Best I've ever had. Thanks Cookie." Jewel thanked.
"Your welcome." Cookie replied.
"Come on guys, let's contiue showing Jewel around." Lighting added.
The gang left Cookie's restaurant and continued to show Jewel around. They decided to take her to the history museum. Jewel spent three hours in the animal exhibits. She was dashing all around the exhibit, saying the creatures names.
"Ooooh, a Lion! *Gasp*, and that's a Smilodon. Oh my god, It's a Dire Wolf!"
The gang chuckled at her enthusiasm.
"Guess you like animals, huh Jewel?" Lighting asked.
"Are you kidding?! I love animals. All kinds, except bugs." Jewel replied.
Finally, Jewel went up to a Smilodon skeleton.
"A Smilodon! My favorite creature. Oh, I wish you were alive ." She thought.
Suddenly, her horn began to glow. It became covered in a cotton candy pink color and so did the skeleton. Soon, muscles began to form on top of the bones and yellow skin and fur began to form on top of the muscles. In no time, the whole creature looked alive. Then...it blinked and roared!
Everybody in the museum screamed in fear and ran away in panic. The big cat looked side to side confused, until it saw Jewel.
"Uuuh...H-hi," She squeaked.
The Smilodon moved it's head towards Jewel, opened it mouth and grabbed her with it's front right paw by her torso. It then placed her on top of it's head. Then, it reared up and ran out of the museum, breaking the wall and dashing hrough New Ponyville.
"SOMEBODY, HELP MEEE!" Jewel screamed.
Lighting and his friends saw everything.
"Come on guys. Let's go!" Lighting said.
"STARFLEET MAGIC!"
Lighting: "Power of Believing"
Starla: "Power of Space"
Artie: "Power of Art"
Buddy: "Power of Flora"
Rhymey: "I summon within...Power of Wind"
Dyno and Myte: "Power of Fire"
Transformed and ready, they chased after the runaway big cat. Jewel was struggling to stay on the running creature.
"Looks like I got my wish. Umm, Mr. Smilodon, would you mind stopping please?" She called. The cat didn't listen. Instead, it built up more speed, forcing Jewel to hang on tight.
"Woooooah!" She cried.
"Jewel!"
Jewel looked up and saw all her friends transformed and ready to fight.
"Guys, help!" Jewel called.
"Don't worry, we'll save you Jewel!" Lighting called.
Buddy whipped his whip at the saber-toothed cat's head and it wrapped around Jewel. He yanked on it and Jewel flew off the creature and into Buddy's arms.
"Gotcha"
Lighting and the others were dealing with the Smilodon. The big cat reared up and tried to hit the gang by swinging it's paws at them. Everybody flew out of the way. Lighting and Starla charged it, but the cat turned around and whacked them with its side, sending them into a tree.
"Lighting, Starla are you okay?" Buddy asked.
Lighting and Starla recovered from the attack.
"Yea, we're good." Lighing replied. The Smilodon roared.
"Let's make this creature extinct once more!" Lighting said. He and all his friends, except Buddy, powered up and fired their finishing attacks.
“UNIFORCE”
“GALACTIC PROJECTILE”
“SUPER STAFF SPIN”
“THRASH SLASH”
“BOOM-BOOM FLARE”
All of the attacks made their mark and the cat was turned back into a skeleton. The gang regrouped a few feet away.
"Are you okay, Jewel?" Lighting asked.
"Yea, I'm okay." Jewel replied.
"How did you make that creature come back to life?" Dyno asked.
"Si, how?" Myte added.
"That's what we'd like to know."
Everybody turned and saw Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia standing a few feet away.
"Master, Queen Celstia?! How did you-" Lighting asked.
"Celstia and I were immediately notified by the museaum guards about what happened. I commend you on stopping the saber-toothed cat. Now onto more pressing matters." Grand Ruler said.
Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia approached Jewel.
"Jewel, do you mind telling us what happened?" Celestia asked.
"All I did was approach the skeleton and wish to see it alive. Then, my horn started glowing as well as the skeleton, then muscles and skin grew onto it and it came to life." Jewel explained.
Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia were amazed but concerned.
"So, now what?" Artie asked.
"Let's take Jewel to the palace for examination." Celestia suggested.
Everybody agreed.
They took Jewel to the sickbay in the palace to have her examined. After a couple minutes, Dr. Penny came out with a shocked expression on her face.
"What is it?" Grand Ruler asked.
"We ran magic tests on her and..." Penny started.
"And what?" Lighting asked.
"We found that her magic levels...... are that of Omega." Penny added.
The others were shocked! Omega was the top level of magic of ponykind. Grand Ruler Celesto, Queen Celstia and Princess Luna are Omegas. Which allows their magic to raise and lower the sun and moon.
Nobody could guess or even figure out how or why Jewel's magic was that powerful.
"That's impossible!" Lighting gasped.
"Woah!" Starla said.
"Incredible" Queen Celstia added.
Jewel came out of the exam room and everybody stared at her, making her nervous.
"What's wrong? Is it bad?" Jewel asked nervously.
"No! Not at all Jewel, but your magic is in the Omega category, which is the most powerful level of magic." Grand Ruler explained.
Jewel was amazed.
"But what can I do about it?" Jewel asked.
"You will need time to learn how to tame these abilities through focus study. And I know the perfect teacher...Lighting Dawn." Queen Celestia said.
"Huh! What?" Lighting asked.
"You will tutor Jewel in magic." Celstia repeated.
Lightning thought for a moment, "Okay. I'll do it!" He said.
"Yeah!" Jewel said with joy.
Everybody smiled at Jewel's excitment.
That night, Jewel was sleeping in Lighting and Starla's guest room.
"What a day. I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow ." Jewel thought.
Then she drifted of to a peaceful slumber.
In our next episode.....The museaum incident has made Jewel a suspected threat. The ponies treat her like a villian and harrass her constantly.

Episode 3: Not Very Welcomed
A day passed since the museaum incident. Jewel was peacfully sleeping in guest bedroom. The sun's rays hit her in her face, making her wake up. She yawned and sat up in bed. From there, she saw a breakfast plate with a note on it. It read:
Jewel
Lighting and I went out on patrol. We'll be back around noon. We made you breakfast, hope you like it.
Starla
Jewel wasted no time eating away at the breakfast plate. Within about ten minutes, she completely devoured it. "Man, that was good." She stated.
"Whats that?"
Jewel stood up, changed into her clothes and went to the front door and opened it. She was greeted by a mob of angry ponies with pitch forks and torches.
"Umm. H-Hello" she greeted nervously. The ponies did not look very friendly.
"So you're the one who brought that creature to life and nearly killed us." One pony said.
"I-It was an accident!" Jewel replied, "I didn't mean to!"
"Yea right. You brought that thing to life on purpose, which is why you need to leave this town. NOW!" The leader of the mob said. The mob began to advance towrds Jewel. She gulped nervously and quickly closed the door, leaning against it. She quickly locked it. The mob all pushed hard against the door, forcing it to open. Jewel, knowing she was outnumbered and out matched, ran away from the door.
At the same time, the mob came bursting through the door and chased her. Jewel ran around the living room, with the mob hot on her tail. She turned towards the broken door and into the streets of New Ponyville.
Meanwhile, Lightning, Starla and their friends were having a lunch break at New Sugarcube Corner.
"So, how's Jewel?" Buddy asked.
"Oh, Jewel's just fine." Lightning replied.
"I still don't feel right leaving her all alone." Starla said with worry.
"She'll be fine Starla. I mean, how much could Jewel get in too?" Dyno asked. No sooner did he asked that, Jewel ran passed the shop screaming "Help" and an angry mob still chasing her.
"You had to ask." Myte added.
"Come on!" Lighting said.
The gang all rushed out of New Sugarcube Corner to save Jewel.
Meanwhile, Jewel got cornered by the angry mob in an alleyway.
"Can't we just talk about this please?" Jewel asked desperstely.
"No more talking! You are a threat and you need to be taken cared of." The leader said. The mob agreed unanimously. They began to advance towards Jewel with their pitch forks aimed at her and torches raised high. Jewel covered her head with her arms, bracing for a beating, and boy, did she get one.
The mob all ganged up on Jewel, kicking, punching and stomping on her. Some even burned her with their torches and poked her with their pitch forks. After a about ten minutes, they quickly dispursted, leaving Jewel bruised, battered and weak.
Lightning and the gang arrived in the alleyway and gasped. "Jewel!, Are you okay?" Starla asked. Jewel weakly lifted her head and looked at Starla.
"Ugh..no..*cough cough*...that mob really busted me up. Ugh..*cough cough*" Jewel replied weakly.
"Quick, let's get her to the hospital." Lighting ordered.
The gang rushed Jewel to the hospital. Dr. Penny diagnosied her with three bruised ribs, abroken arm and leg and a brusied shoulder.
Soon, Jewel was awake, in a hospital with her arm and leg in a cast, lifted up by a sling and she had bandages around her torso and shoulder.
Lightning and the others came in to check on her.
"Hey Jewel, how are you feeling?" Starla asked.
"Sore" Jewel replied. Starla smiled sadly and walked over to Jewel's bedside and gently stroked her mane.
"Jewel, why was that mob chasing you?" Lightning asked.
"They said...that I was...a threat becasue...lf what happened..yesterday...I tried to..reason..with them but it didn't...work so they chased me. They said...that I should...leave." Jewel replied.
Lightning and the others were shocked and outraged. How dare ponies beat up their friend and try to drive Jewel out of town. Then a rock came flying through the window, shattering the glass.
"'Ay Carumba!" Cried Dyno
"What was that?" Myte added.
Lighting picked up the rock and read it out loud.
Dear Jewel,
Last warning! Get lost or else.
Everybody was horrifed.
"Oooh, what am I gonna do?" Jewel asked.
"Don't worry Jewel well do everything we can do
Jewel felt a little safer.
Days went by and Jewel was fully healed. However, the harassment from ponies continued. One day she was hit in the face with a pie. Then she found the words 'leave' and 'monster' on Lighting and Starla's house. Ponies were always giving Jewel deadly looks as she walked through town. No matter what her friends tried to do to stop the harrassment, it just kept getting worse.
On the fourth day, Jewel went to New Sugarcube Corner and saw Mr. and Ms. Cake along with Pumpkin and Pound Cake, their twin foals. They were some of the few ponies who still treated Jewel nicely.
"Why hello Jewel." Ms. Cake greeted.
Jewel looked up with a sad smile.
"Hi Ms. Cake." She greeted back.
The Cakes could sense her sadness.
"Not getting any better huh?" Mr. Cake asked. Jewel shook her head.
"Oh Jewel" Ms. Cake said.
Jewel went to sit by herself, luckily the shop was empty. Jewel just sat there, thinking of all the things people said about her and all the trouble she caused for her friends. Whenever her friends tried to defend her, they got yelled and threatened. Jewel didn't want her hurt new friends to get hurt.
There was only one thing she could do.
She ordered about twenty sweets from the shop and while Lighting and Starla were back out on patrol she wrote them a note and left the house. She walked to the enterence to the New Everfree Forest and walked inside, leaving New Ponyville....forever.
Lightining and Starla entered their house at noon.
"Jewel, we're home!" Lightning called.
No response.
"Jewel!" Starla called.
No response.
Lightning saw a note on the table and read it:
Dear Lightning and Starla,
I apperciate all the things you and the gang have done to try and help me, but it decided to leave New Ponyville. I don't want you guys getting hurt becasue of me. I love you guys with all my heart. Goodbye.
Jewel
"Oh no!" Starla exclaimed.
"Starla, round up the gang and find Jewel. While I put a stop to this once and for all." Lightning said.
Starla nodded and ran off. Lightning took out a piece of poster and began to quote. There we're only two people who could help end this harassment. Meanwhile, Starla gathered up the gang and they followed Jewel's footprints to the New Everfree Forest.
"Why would Jewel go in here?" Buddy asked.
"To isolate herself." Starla replied.
The gang entered the forest and soon enough they heard crying. Following the sound, they found Jewel, sitting under a tree crying her eyes out.
"Jewel!" Everybody called.
Jewel looked up and saw her friends. They all surrounded
"Jewel we were so worried about you. I was so worried about you. Why did you runaway?" Starla asked.
"*Sniffle* I didnt want you guys to get hurt, *Sniffle* becasue of my problems." Jewel replied.
"Jewel, we're your friends. We'll always be here for you. No matter if we get hurt. We'll help you just please come home." Starla reassured. Jewel thought for a moment.
"Okay. I'll come home. But what the harassment?" Jewel asked.
"Lighting's got that covered." Starla added.
The gang returned with Jewel to New Ponyville. From there, they saw their majesties talking to all the citizens of New Ponyville. They're majesties told everybody to look pass the museum incident and treat Jewel like everybody else. After that, the meeting was over. Lightning and their majesties saw Jewel with Starla and the others.
"Jewel, are you okay?" Lightning asked.
"Yea I'm okay. And I'm staying in New Ponyville!" Jewel declared.
Everybody was happy to hear that. For the next three days, the harrassment had stopped completely. Jewel was feeling alot better now that it was over and her friends couldn't agree more.
In our next episode....Jewel starts her magic training with Lighting and she learns fast. But when Sombra and Chrysalis arrive on the scene and capture her friends, Jewel will have to put her magic training to the test.

Episode 4: Part 1: Magic Training and Testing
A week has passed and Jewel has been getting more and more comfortable in New Ponyville. Ponies were smiling at her and she was making lots of friends. Now, Jewel was with Lightning and the gang at New Canterlot Palace to begin Jewel's magic training. Lightning and Jewel we're in the royal throne.
"Now Jewel as we all know you are an Omega magic level unicorn, meaning that you can do a variety of magic: teleportation, transfiguration and alot more. But first, we'll start you off with simple magic. Ready?" Lighting asked.
Jewel nodded her head. Lightning then put three blocks in front of Jewel.
"We'll start off with some levitation. Now concertrate on the blocks and use your magic to lift them into the air." Lightning instructed.
Jewel took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She concentrated and get horn began to glow as well as the blocks and they were lifted into the air.
"Good, now start moving them around." Lightning added.
Jewel concentrated some more and the blocks moved up, down and side to side. Then, she put the blocks back on the floor and cancelled her magic then opened her eyes.
"Well done Jewel. Now for teleportation." Lightning told Jewel where to teleprt to and Jewel disappeared and reappeared in the correct spot. "Good, Now I want you to teleport me in front of the Grand Ruler's royal throne." Lightning instructed.
Jewel's expression changed from calm to nervous.
"Teleport you? Isn't that a bit advanced?" Jewel asked.
"Just try. Remember stay calm and concentrate." Lightning reassured.
Jewel concentrated and Lightning began to glow in her magic arua and Lightning vanished and then reappered in front of the royal throne.
"I-I did it!" Jewel said with joy.
"Impressive. Let's try some more." Lightning suggested. Jewel instantly agreed. So for the next two hours, Lightning and Jewel practice magic spells. Lightning was very impressed; Jewel used her magic to create powerful shields and barriers as well as create powerful magical arrows that can injure a pony on impact. Jewel also mastered an invisibility spell, making her vanish from sight.
At around ten in the morning, Jewel was a little tired from all the magic usage.
"Well look at you." A voice called out. Jewel and Lighting turned and saw Lightning's friends and their majesties stand in the doorway. Jewel immediately felt shy.
"How long have you all been standing there?" Jewel asked.
"Long enough. We are all very impressed with your magic abilites Jewel." Celestia replied. Jewel blushed.
"Hehehe, thank your majesty."
Then, Jewel found herself in some heavy clothing and in front of a huge sleigh with heavy boulders in it. "Now Jewel, as a part of Starfleet you will need to build up your strength, speed, dexterity and etc. First, we will work on your strength. I want you to pull this sleigh to the other side of the garden." Grand Ruler stated. Jewel gulped nervously.
"You can do it Jewel!" Dyno encouraged.
"Si chica." Myte added. Jewel took a deep breath and grabbed the rope. She pulled with all her strength and she actually managed to pull the sleigh to the other side.
Next, Jewel was tasked with keeping up with their majesties in an obstacle course. She keptup with them with her long, perfect stride. Then, she had to try and take a flag from Grand Ruler and stay in the fight for 20 minutes. She succeed and stated in for 25 minutes!
After the training was done Jewel was taking a break with her friends. Her mane was a little tangled and she was sweating a little. Lighting gave her some water and Starla gave her a cloth to wipe away the sweat.
"Alright Jewel! You're did great!" Buddy praised.
"Excellente chica" Dyno said.
"You were amazing." Myte added.
Their majesties walked up to Jewel with proud smiles on their faces.
"Very good Jewel. Looks like your a fast learner." Grand Ruler said.
"Thank your majesty." Jewel replied.
Grand Ruler leaned towards his wife and whispered, "I sense the same magical abilites of that of Twilight ." Hearing her name made Celestia a little sad but she had to stay focused on Jewel.
"Now how about we have some breakfast." Celstia suggested. Everybody humbly agreed.
They went into the dining room and the servents brought food for everybody. Jewel had about twenty courses; all that training made her really hungry.
Soon, another week passed and Jewel's strength, speed, magical abilites and etc were increasing drastically. The ponies were very proud of her.
They were all having lunch in the dining area. "Jewel, you've shown great improvement over a short period of time. We are all very proud of you" Celestia commented. Jewel blushed.
Suddenly, the alarms sounded and Goldwin, a magic statue brought to life by a magic mask, burst into the room.
"Guys, it's horrible, you better come quick." he cried.
"Slow down Goldwin-- what's wrong?" Celstia asked.
"I was starting at the clouds out the window when I saw down below in the village...Sombra and Chrysalis." Everybody gasped in horror!
"Let's go you guys." Artie asked.
"We're coming to." Celestia called.
Everybody ran out of the dining room and into the village, while Goldwin and Jewel stayed and looked out the window.
Sombra and Chrysalis were strolling down the village streets while the villagers ran away in fear and utter panic.
"Looks like they haven't put out the welcome mat for us." Sombra said.
"Think again!"
Sombra and Chrysalis turned and saw Lighting, his friends, their majesties and Princess Luna, Cadence and Shining Armor.
"Well, well, well look whose here." Sombra added.
"How are you two back?" Starla snarled.
"That's none of your buisness! Now, let's get started so we can destroy you." Chysalis taunted.
"Let's go guys!" Lighting said.
"STARFLEET MAGIC"

Starla: Power of Space
Buddy: Power of Flora
Artie: Power of Art
Rhymey: Let us begin...Power of the wind
Dyno and Myte: Power of Fire
"Warrior-mode, go!" Celestia transformed into her warrior garments. Cadence changed into the Silent-Ninja and Shining Armor turned into Saber. The two sides charged each other. Lighting and the gang dealt with Chysalis while their majesties dealt with Sombra.
Luna, Cadence, Celestia and Grand Ruler kicked and punched Sombra, but he took their attacks barely did any damage. Same thing with Chrysalis. Shining Armor, Lighting and the gang threw their attacks at her, but it looked like they did nothing. Sombra and Chrysalis sneered.
"Pathetic."
Then they both blasted the ponies, sending them flying. Goldwin and Jewel were horrifed.
"They are way stronger than before. How can that be?" Grand Ruler asked.
The ponies recovered and charged the duo again, but Sombra and Chrysalis dashed towards them and began ruthlessly attacking them, really hurting them. They blasted them back hard. Lighting and his friends as well as Cadence, Shining and Celestia's suits powered down from weakness.
"Esto es terrible What are we gonna do?" Dyno cried.
"They're just too strong." Myte added.
Sombra and Chrysalis combined their magic and trapped the ponies in a cage with special bars that wouldn't allow them to use any form of magic.
"Hey! Let us go this instant!" growled Grand Ruler.
"Hahahaha! After all these years of suffering, we will have our revenge on Starfleet." Sombra snarled.
With that, Sombra and Chrysalis vanished along with the captured gang.
"No, no, no, this is really bad! What do we do?" Goldwin said in near panic.
Jewel was stunned and horrified by what she just saw.
Everybody in New Canterlot felt the same. Jewel and Goldwin were immediately called to the throne room. They saw the captin of the royal guard, Captin Shaina. She heard what happened and were desperately worried.
"We'll have to plan a rescue mission." She said.
"But, how? You saw how strong they are now! They creamed Lighting and the others. There's nobody left that can defeat them." Goldwin protested.
"But, there's one pony they haven't faced." Shaina said turning to Jewel.
Jewel saw everybody looking at her with hope in their eyes and caught on.
"M-Me! Bu-but I've never been in a battle before." Jewel said.
"Yes, but you've trained and Lighting has been teaching you some defensive and offensive spells. Right?" Shaina asked. Jewel nodded.
"Then you'll have a chance. Also, Sombra and Chrysalis don't know anything about you, so they don't know your attacks or what you are capable of."
Jewel thought for a moment. Her friends were in serious trouble. The fate of United Equestria was at stake! If she doesn't do anything, who knows what Sombra and Chrysalis will do to them and the planet.
"Okay. I'll do, but do you really think I can do it..... by myself?" Jewel asked.
Goldwin, Shaina looked at each other and nodded. Shaina began to sing:

Everybody has times in their lives
When their hearts are filled with doubt
(Cadence)
But if you just give it your all
You'll start to work it out
(Jewel)
And I know I can't give up too soon
Get myself in the zone
And I find I can walk, then run

Then fly...!

(Goldwin and Shaina)

"You're right! I can do this. Only one problem.. Where did Sombra and Chrysalis take them?" Jewel asked.
"I sense strong magic coming from Fire Mountain." Shaina replied.
"Where's that?"
"On the southern side of the planet."
"Okay. Lets do this." With that, Jewel ran out of the throne room on her way to Fire Mountain to save her friends.
"Good luck Jewel!" Goldwin called. Jewel ran off and soon arrived at Fire Mountain.
She saw an eerie green glow coming from the side. She went to investigate and saw it was a cave!
"Well, *Gulp*, here goes nothing" Jewel entered the cave.
In our next episode... Jewel discovers Sombra and Chysalis ulitmate plan to destory her friends. Jewel begins to think that she doesn't have what it takes to save the day, until a spirit comes and helps her prove that she is.
Jewel tries to stop them but it seems hopeless until she unlocks a mythical power deep within her.

Episode 5: Part 2: Mythical Magic and First Battle
Jewel walked down the cave and used her horn to create light, so she can see. There were changeling guards all over the place, so Jewel used the invisibilty spell to hide herself from anyone in the cave tunnels. She finally found a place to hide in the cave and stopped the spell, making herself visible again.
"Man, this isn't anything like the training Lighting put me through. How I gonna defeat two ponies with powerful magic by myself?" Jewel questioned.
Suddenly, a beam of light came down near Jewel and an angel-corn appeared.
"You can save them Jewel. I know." It said.
"Who are you?" Jewel asked.
"I'm Twilight Sparkle, former apprentice of Queen Celestia. I was killed in the line of duty trying to protect her." Twilight explained.
"Woah. So you really think I can save them Twilight?" Jewel asked.
"I do. I've been watching your magic training with Lighting and I'm very much impressed." Twilight added.
"Yea, but this is all so new to me. I've never battled anyone before. It all just happened so fast... I just wasn't prepared for this." Jewel replied.
She then began to sing about her doubts.

Thought I could handle any test
For I have shown so many tricks

Levitation would have been a breeze
Facts and figures I recite with ease
(Jewel): The square root of five hundred and forty-six is twenty-three point three six six six four two eight nine one zero nine.
Professor Bill Neigh: She is correct!
(Jewel)
I could ace a quiz on creatures bliss
But I wasn't prepared for this
Will I fail, or will I pass?
I can't be sure...
(Twilight)
She can't be sure...

My mind is sharp, my skills intact

Oh, I've proven my magic truth
I've made known that I'm very skilled

Prepared... for this!
"You know Jewel, I once felt the same way." Twilight revealed. Jewel wa surprised. "Really? When?" She asked.
"When Celestia first asked me to protect the Crystal Empire from King Sombra long ago. I didn't think I could do and that I would fail. But in the end I did pass becasue I never gave up. Now it's your turn." Twilight explained.
"Your right Twilight! I can save them." Jewel said.
"Good. I must be going now until next time Jewel."
With that, Twilight's angle - corn floated up into the sky and vanished. Jewel started walking closer to the glow but she didn't realize she waswhile she was talking, she was spotted.
Meanwhile, in Sombra and Chrysalis's cave, they've imprisoned the gang in a force field. The dark magic in the force field prevented them from transforming or even producing a spark of magic.
"Let us go!" Lightning yelled.
"Never! Finally, after all this time, I will finally destroy you all." Chysalis stated.
"You two won't get away with this." Celestia said.
"We've already have, nobody's coming to save you. Nobody's foolish enough to even try and face us." Sombra explained.
The gang refused to admit it, but they were right.
Suddenly, Swift came rushing in...
"Your majesties! I just saw a pink unicorn nearby!" Swift informed. Sombra and Chrysalis were shocked and angered.
"WHAT? Who dares tries to foil our plan?" Sombra asked furiously.
Swift showed them the picture he took of the 'intruder'. The gang saw it too and were shocked.
"It's Jewel!" Artie said.
Sombra, Chysalis and Swift heard this, "Ahhh, so she's come to try and save you, huh. Well she's about to learn what happens when one tries to foil our plan." Chrysalis snarled.
"If any of you lay one hand on her, I'll destroy both of you." Grand Ruler threatened.
"And yet, your still trapped in our force field, so you won't be doing anything, except watch your precious unicorn suffer. Swift give the girl a warm welcome. " Chrysalis ordered.
Swift grinned evily.
"As you wish."
Swift exited the lair and went into the tunnels. The gang knew Jewel was in big trouble!
Back in the tunnel, Jewel was only a couple of yards from where the duo was keeping her friends captive...
"Well, *Gulp* here goes nothing. I'm going in." She said to herself.
Just then a beam of magic came hit the ground in front of her.
"You're not going anywhere." a voice called.
The dust cleared and saw a male, humanoid cheetah standing in front of her.
"Who are you?" Jewel asked.
"Name's Swift. Which is the last thing you will ever hear, once I destory you."
Jewel quickly and nervously got into a battle stance. Swift roared and charged. Jewel used her magic to teleport out of the way. Swift jumped up and tried to punch her in the gut, but she teleported away again. Finally, Jewel countered.
"MAGICAL ARROW"
Jewel fired light pink arrows at Swift. The arrows left a few punctures but barely damaged him.
"Pathetic" Swift snarled, "Time to show you what REAL magic is.
"CLAW FLASH"
Swift's claws extended and glowed white. Using his cheetah speed, Swift charged and ruthlessly slashed Jewel. She tried to counter, but it was in vain. Swift punched her in the face and she fell to the ground.
"Aww, looks like you couldn't save your friends after all, how sad." Swift taunted.
Jewel knew she couldn't give up. She had to save her friends. She slowly got back onto her feet saying.
"I...won't...give..up..until...my...friends..are...SAFE!!!"
Suddenly, Jewel felt a tremendous burst of energy within her. Swift saw that Jewel's entire body was glowing in a yellow magical arua. Jewel roared and charged Swift, punching and kicking him faster an a projectile. Swift tried to fight back but Jewel was too quick. She knocked Swift into a wall, knocking him out cold. Jewel panted as the energy burst subsided.
Jewel examined herself and saw that her injuries were healed completely.
"Woah. What just happened? No time, I've gotta save my friends."
Jewel dashed towards the inside. What she didn't know was that Sombra, Chysalis and the gang saw the fight. Sombra and Chysalis were outraged while the captured gang were shocked and in awe.
"Galloping Galaxies" Lighting muttered.
"How did Jewel do that?" Buddy asked.
"IMPOSSIBLE! That girl is gonna pay!" Sombra snarled, outraged.
In no time, Jewel arrived. "Looking for someone." She said.
Sombra and Chrysalis turned and growled at her.
"Jewel, get out of here. They're too dangerous." Lighting pleaded.
"He's right chica." Dyno said.
"Run away." Myte added.
"No! I'm not leaving until you all are safe." Jewel objected. Lighting and his friends were very concerned. Their majesties were also concerned, but at the same time impressed by Jewel's bravery.
"You made a big mistake coming here. And now your going to face the consequences." Sombra threatened. He and Chrysalis charged Jewel, who teleported out of the way and into the air. Sombra and Chrysalis's started bombarding Jewel with punches. Jewel used her shield spell to defend herself and spread out the shield, sending Sombra and Chrysalis into the wall.
Sombra and Chrysalis were furious. Sombra fired a shockwave at Jewel, stunning her and Chrysalis charged Jewel attacking her ruthlessly. The gang watched in horror as Chysailis constantly punched Jewel and finally, she punched her in the stomach, sending her to the ground.
"JEWEL!"
Sombra and Chrysalis floated down to the small crater and stared down at Jewel. She had a black eye, bruises everywhere and mane was matted and tangeled.
"Looks like this is your final curtain. Too bad you couldn't save them. You were just too pathetic to do it. Now say goodbye!" Sombra said.
He and Chysalis combined their magic and fired the finished blow.
"NOOOOOOOO!!!" The gang cried.
Just as the beam was about to hit. Jewel felt the same magical energy run through her. She leaped out of the crater and punched the beam, canceling it.
"What?!" Sombra and Chrysalis cried.
The gang was shocked. Jewel's whole body glowed brighter than ever. The magical arua began to expand and change into a creature with Jewel in the center. Powerful jaws were formed in front of Jewel's face. Forlegs and Back legs were formed around Jewel's arms and legs. A big fluffy tail formed over Jewel's tail. When finished the creature was about half the size of New Canterlot Palace. The light diminished and a light yellow wolf was standing in front of Sombra and Chrysalis with Jewel in the middle.
Jewel roared and the wolf roared at the same time. Jewel charged the duo in her wolf form. They tried to fight back, but it was usless. Jewel hit them with her tail and clawed them with her paws.
"I..WILL NOT..GIVE..UP UNTIL..MY..FRIENDS..ARE.....SAFE!!"
"HOWL PULSE"
Spirit Wolf Jewel fired a projectile at Sombra and Chrysalis like Lighting and Grand Ruler's Uniforce, only for times as strong. Sombra and Chrysalis were consumed by the blast destroying them. The force field was deactivated and the gang was free. The yellow arua steadily diminished until Jewel was not longer covered. Her injuries were healed again, but she was extermely exhausted. Her friends rushing towards her was the last thing Jewel saw before she passed out.
When she woke up, Jewel saw all of her friends by her bedside.
"Hey there sleepy head. How are you feeling?" Starla cooed.
"A little tired, but alright." Jewel replied. Her voice was hoarse from lack of use. Artie poured her a cup of water and handed it to her. "Thanks." Jewel gulped down the liquid until it was all gone.
"We're so glad you're alright, we were really worried. Especially Lighting." Buddy added.
Jewel looked around and saw that she in a hospital bed. "What happened?" Jewel asked. "After you passed out, Queen Celestia and Grand Ruler discovered that the Sombra and Chrysalis you faced were only puppets with a faction of their actual power." Starla explained.
"Yikes. I hate to see the real them." Jewel commented. "We brought you to the hospital and Penny said you'll make a full recovery." Starla added.
"Good, I wanna see Lighting." Right after she said that Lighting popped into the room with the four royal alicorns and Shining Armor. "Did someone call for me." Lightning joked. "Lightning!"
Lightning came to Jewel's bedside and they both hugged. "It's good to see you are awake Jewel."
"It's good to you all are safe." Jewel replied.
"I'm very proud of you Jewel. Even when you were against incerdible odds, you succeded in saving us. You've impressed me, my brave pony. Now it's time to celebrate."
"Celebrate? Celebrate what?" Jewel asked.
Hours later, every creature in United Equestria gathered in the New Canterlot Palace Throne Room. Lightning stood with the royal alicorns near the royal throne while his friends were in the very front of the crowd. Trumpets began to play and the doors to the throne room opened and Jewel came walking down the red carpet, towards the royal alicorns. She stopped in front of them and the trumpets stopped playing.
"We are gathered here today to reminisce of what has occured this day. King Sombra and Queen Chysailis, two enemies that were thought to be gone forever have returned." Grand Ruler started.
The crowd gasped!
"And they succeeded in capturing myself, my wife, our family and my former apprentice Lightning Dawn and his team." He added.
The crowd gasped again!
"However, we were saved by the actions of a brave young alicorn that stand before us all here today." Queen Celestia said. "Which is why were are all exteremly proud and honored to give Jewel the United Equestrian Pink Heart of Courage." Celstia added.
Luna used her magic to leviate the necklace with a pink crystal heart in the center over to Jewel, who bowed her head to receive it. Luna placed the necklace on her and she smiled with glee. The crowd cheered loudly and applauded.
"We have another reason to celebrate this day." Grand Ruler added, suddenly. Everybody, even Lightning, his friends and the other royal ones didn't know what Grand Ruler was doing. Grand Ruler stared down at Jewel.
"Jewel, due to your increadible act of bravery and your willingness to never give up when your friends were in great peril, even when you were at an exterme disadvantage, you have proven to me and everybody else what kind of person you are; strong, brave and truly magical. Which is why as Commander of Starfleet, I hereby dub Jewel, the newest memeber of Lightning's Starfleet unit as a Cadet!" Grand Ruler exclaimed. The whole throne room burst with cheers and applause. Lighting and his friends were the loudest and proudest of Jewel. It seemed like only yesterday she was an injured, scared little alicorn. Now she's a memeber of the force. Jewel felt exteremly honored.
"Even with United Equestria under the cape of war. This is a bright, new beginning for everybody." Princess Luna ended.
In our next episode... Jewel begins her Starfleet training with Lighting and the gang showing great potential. While also revealing some shocking surprises as well. When Sombra and Chrysalis arrive for round two and puts their majesties in great peril, Jewel will unlock more of her wolf powers.

My Brave Pony Starfleet Magic: The New Member
Episode 6: Training and Ultimate Test
It's been a week since Jewel was promoted to a Cadet. Their majesties gave Jewel her very own super suit with her energizer on it. The suit was light pink, to match her magic arua and the visor had all kinds of features:
-Heat sensory
Now, she was in New Canterlot Palace for some more physical training in the dojo. The royal alicorns were present along with Shining armor and her friends.
"Alright Jewel, let's get started on some more training." Grand Ruler stated. Grand Ruler led Jewel over to one of the treadmills.
"Ooh, yeah, my favorite exercise tool!" Jewel squealed.
Jewel hopped onto the treadmill and Grand Ruler set to three (projectile speed). Jewel immediately started pumping her legs and arms to stay on the treadmill. After about twenty minutes, Jewel was lookong exhausted but she kept pushing.
"Umm. Uncle maybe you should stop Jewel. She's not looking so good." Cadence spoke.
"I agree darling." Celestia agreed.
"No, no, no I'm fine." Jewel objected. To prove it, she bumped the treadmill up to four (bullet speed). Jewel was fiercely pumping her arms and legs. Suddenly, her hands started to glow light yellow, the same arua that covered her and turned her into a wolf spirit. Suddenly, Jewel didn't feel exhausted anymore.
"Woah! I feel like I could run forever!" Jewel exclaimed. Everybody was mystified by this. The sweat that was pouring down on Jewel's face vanished in an instant and her muscles didn't hurt anymore. Grand Ruler thought that was enough and stopped the treadmill.
"Oookay. Next!"
"Now onto target practice. Now Jewel, since you don't have a physical weapon you will be using your horn to hit the targets... while blindfolded ." Grand Ruler explained. Everybody was confused. Grand Ruler never suggested doing target practice blindfolded.
Jewel placed the blindfold over her eyes and tied it. She stood in front of the targets and concentrated. Her horn began to glow light pink and hands glowed light yellow again ad well. Jewel blasted several beams from her horn and all of them.....made their mark!
The others were completely shocked! Jewel cancelled her magic and her hands ceased to glow. "What's next?" Jewel asked excited.
After Jewel's training, all the ponies gathered in the throne room to discuss.
"How was Jewel doing that?" Starla asked.
"We've never seen anything like this before. We only know as much as you all do." Grand Ruler admitted.
"Maybe I can shed some light on this situation."
Everyone turned as saw good, old Professor Brain, the royal palace scientist and genius inventor.
"What is it Professor?" Celestia asked.
"I've looked at the videos of all the training you put Jewel through she began to glow light yellow." Brain said.
"That's what happened at the treadmill and target practice." Lighting realized. "I believe when Jewel begins to glow in the light yellow magical arua, her senses and physical abilites become those of a wolf." Brain added.
"A wolf?!" Everybody asked.
"How is that possible?" Luna asked.
"Remeber when you told me of Jewel turning into a Spirit Wolf when you all were captured." Brain started. The gang nodded. "I believe the wolves physical features appear in Jewel when she glows."
"Incerdible!" Grand Ruler exclaimed.
"Now what do we do?" Buddy asked.
Suddenly, the alarms sounded and Captain Shaina, captain of the royal guard, came rushing in. "Your majesties, Your majesties!"
"What is it captain?" Celestia asked.
"Sombra and Chysalis and back in the village!" Everybod gasped.
"Let's go!" The gang all rushed down and into the village. Sombra and Chrysalis were causing chaos. "You again!" Sombra roared. "Sombra and Chrysalis, leave this place and never return." Grand Ruler snarled. "Your gonna have to make us." Chysalis challenged. Jewel was in the background, watching the event. Lighting and his friends transformed.
"STARLFEET MAGIC"
Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia took out their halves of the Rainbow Rod and combined them. Soon Grand Celstial Ruler appeared.
Sombra and Chrysalis charged The Ruler but Lighting and his friends blocked their path.
"Keep out of our way!"
Chysalis used her magic to trap the gang in a gooey substance, which held the team in place, making it impossible to move. Then, she and Sombra ganged up on The Ruler. The Ruler shot "MYSTIC LIGHT" at the duo but to their horror and the team's, the attack did little damage. Sombra and Chrysalis shot The Ruler down with "DARKNESS PULSE" sending it into the ground. Jewel watched the horror. Her heart pounded in fear and anger. Her horn glowed light yellow, instead of light pink.
Sombra and Chrysalis stood over The Ruler, now defused into Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia. Both were brusied and battered from the blast. "Ashamed that it has to end this way." Sombra said. He and Chrysalis prepared the final attack. "NO!" Lighting and the team shouted, struggling to break free.
Suddenly a light yellow projectile came and hit Sombra and Chrysalis sending to the ground. "What?"
Everybody turned to see Jewel who had transformed. Her pony ears and tail have turned into wolf ears and tail. Her teeth changed to canies and her hands and feet changed into wolf paws. Her entire body was light yellow. Jewel howled at the evil duo.
Sombra and Chrysalis charged but Jewel rammed them both with her head, sending into the air and she jumped up above them and shouted.....
"WOLF THUNDER"
She dove into the duo shocking them with electricity. They hit the gorund and Jewel hopped off of them and the puppets were destoryed. The gooey substance was dissolved. Jewel then went to the injured royals and shot a beam that healed them of all their injuries. Jewel transformed back into the alicorn self and on her head was a golden crown with a wolf symbol in the middle and three empty spaces on the right and two in the left.
"Woah, Nice crown Jewel!" Lighting said. Jewel took the crown off her head and looked at it. The wolf symbol was light yellow. The same arua she was glowing in. "What does this mean?" Jewel asked.
"That is a mystery. But one you will be solving alone." Grand Ruler said. That night, Jewel was staring at the ceiling, thinking about what happened. "What is happening to me? What does all this mean ?" Jewel closed her eyes, drifting off into a peaceful slumber.
In the New Everfree Forst under the Castle of the Two Sisters, the Tree of Harmony was glowing in a mystical light. A ghostly female figure appeared on front of it.
"She has unlocked the ultimate power. Now she has a long way to go." Then it vanished into the night.
In our next episode.. Jewelis I charge is watching hey baby siblings. But when Carla tries to take the babies, Jewel will have to defend them.

My Brave Pony Starfleet Magic: The New Member
Episode 8: Adventures in Babysitting
It's been two months and there has been no word of any attacks. Their royal majesties were getting ready to head to a meeting but they needed a babysitter for Castor and Leilani. They asked the ponies but they were all too busy, so they decided that Jewel would babysit their babies.
"You sure you can watch them Jewel?" Celestia asked anxiously.
"Mom. I'll be fine. I promise." Jewel said.
"She'll be fine my love. Princess Luna is nearby if she needs to call us." Grand Ruler reassured.
"Well, okay, we won't be long." Celestia said. Their majesties kissed their babies goodbye and they left.
"Okay you two let's have some fun." Jewel said. The babies giggled.
Meanwhile at the spaceship, Sombra and Chrysalis; the real ones were watching Jewel and the babies and hatched a plan.
Chrysalis called Carla in.
"Yes, your majesties?" She asked.
"Carla, we want you to capture these two babies and being them to us." Sombra ordered.
Carla looked at the basis and was skeptical. "Forgive me you're majesties, but what good are two babies going to do?"
"If we have something the ponies want then we can make them surrender." Sombra answered.
Carla began to catch on: If they had the babies, the ponies would surrendertop Sombra and Chrysalis to get the babies back.
"I will not fail you, your majesties." Carla vowed and she off.
Back at the palace, Jewel finished feeding the babies.
"Okay you two, time for your nap~" Jewel sang. The babies cooed and yawned.
Jewel picked the up and was about to put them in their crib when a loud 'sqwack' came in, followed by something crashing through the window. Castor and Leilani became frightened and Jewel's grip gently, tightened on the babies
"Who are you!" Jewel demanded.
"I'm Carla. Now, if you know what's good for you, you'll hand over those foals" She demanded.
Jewel gasped, "Never!" She yelled.
"Fine, I'll just have to take them from you."
Carla dashed towards Jewel, but she teleported our of the way and she sounded the alarm. Carla tried to take the foals again, but Jewel quickly teleported away again, angering Eagle Eye.
Jewel popped into to the Castle of the Two sisters and entered the secret room where Celstia and Luna's journel is. She put the babies in the pillow on the floor and dropped to the floor in exhaustion.
"This is gonna be harder than I thought." Jewel thought.
Back at the palace, everybody was looking at the secerity cameras and saw everything. Their majesties were edgy and frantic to find their foals.
"Ooh, what if they ran into a manticore or got thrown into New Tartarus." Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia said with extreme worry.
"Uncle, Aunt, calm down please!" Cadence cooed.
Their majesties took a few deep breaths and calmed down. Suddenly Queen Celestia's horn began to glow and a video image came in.
"Guys, its me Jewel!" Jewel said.
"Yes Jewel, are you okay? How are our babies? Are they hurt?" Their majesties asked frantically.
"Easy, mom and dad. The foals are safe, but one of Sombra's minions are after them. Her name is Carla. She's a humanoid eagle. I'm in the Castle of the Two Sisters secret room." Jewel stated.
"We're on our way." Grand Ruler said. With that, the video ended.
"Come on, darling." Grand Ruler added. Celestia nodded and they both rushed to the Castle of the Two Sisters.
Back in the secret room, the babies awoken from their nap and softly said. "Mama...Papa?"
"Don't worry little ones, your parents will be here soon." Jewel said. Jewel didn't notice that her hands were glowing light orange. In no time, their majesties popped into the secret room and their babies cried out in joy. "MAMA...PAPA!"
Their majesties were relieved to see their foals safe. "Ooh, my babies. Thank the stars you're both safe."
Castor and Leilani babbled and spoke "Jewel..keep..safe." Jewel was amazed. The baby's learned her name after two months! Their majesties approached Jewel and gave her a hug.
"Jewel, thank you so much for keeping our babies safe. We were so worried when we were shown what happened." Grand Ruler stated.
"I promised I wouldn't anything happen to my little siblings and I kept it, there my family now."
After Jewel said that she began to glow light orange and the spot to the left of her wolf symbol, on her crown, glowed light orange as well. When it died down in the spot was a buffalo symbol.
"Incredible," Grand Ruler said.
"But what does it means?" Jewel asked.
"It means you give up those foals."
Everyone turned and saw Carla in the doorway. Their majesties handed their babies to Jewel and stood in front of her.
"You will not come any closer to our foals!" snarled Grand Ruler.
"Your gonna have to make me." Carla challenged.
Their majesties charged her, but she sent out a loud screech that stopped them in in their tracks.
"EAGLE QUILL"
Carla flapped her wings and quills came out of them, hitting their majesties and exploding which sent them into the wall. Carla, then approached Jewel and the terrified foals. The babies whined in fear.
"Now, give me those foals!" she demanded.
Jewel held the babies tightly.
"Never. I'll won't let you take my baby siblings away."
Then Jewel's entire body and her buffalo symbol on her crown, brightly glowed light orange. When the light went away Jewel transformed again; her hands and feet turned into hooves. Her tail grew short and she grew two curved horns on her head.
"What?!" Carla exclaimed.
Jewel gently put the babies on the pillow again and turned to Eagle Eye. Jewel charged her and unleashed,
"HEAD SMASH"
Her horns glowed and extended, she charged into Carla and threw her out of the castle and into the sky. The babies clapped her little hands. Their majesties came in, a bit injured but okay.
They all returned to the palace and showed the images of the battle to Lighting and the others and were amazed.
"Galloping Galaxies, that's what happened the last time." Lighting stated.
"But how does she do this." Artie asked.
"We believe that Jewel's transformations are connected to her emotions like normal magic." Celstia predicted.
"But first she was a wolf and now a buffalo? How?" Starla asked.
"It maybe because a buffalo is very caring and protective of their young. When Carla threatened Castor and Leilani Jewel wanted to protect them, which promoted her to changed into a buffalo and the buffalo symbol appeared in her crown.
While a wolf is protective. When Jewel came to save us when Sombra and Chrysalis, Jewel was determined to save us even if she lost her life. This must have caused her to change into a wolf." Grand Ruler explained.
"So, the animal she changes into next is based on what emotion she's feeling and the event that's taking place" Starla guessed.
Their majesties nodded. Everyone was in awe.
"So what animal will she turn into next?" Buddy asked.
"That remains a mystery." Celestia said.
In our next episode... A braggy alicorn comes to New Ponyville and annoys everybody and challenges Jewel to a magic duel. Everybody tells Jewel to accept but Jewel is hesitant. But when the alicorn disrespects their majesties, Jewel steps up to the plate.
What will be the outcome of this unicorn vs alicorn battle?

My Brave Pony Starfleet Magic: The New Member
Episode 9: Magic and Honor
It's been peaceful for the last four months. No attacks, just ponies going on with their buisness. Over the months, Jewel's magic had increased dramatically! She could even the most advanced spells. Her friends and their majesties were very proud of her.
"Your magic has dramatically increased Jewel." Grand Ruler complimented.
Jewel blushed, "Yea. You must be the most magical unicorn in United Equestria." Starla added.
"Oh, come on Starla, I bet there's plenty of other ponies who are just as magical as me." Jewel objected, modestly.
But little did Jewel know, her magic would be out to the true test.
There was a magic show in New Ponyville and everybody, including their majesties, were going to see it. Jewel, Starla, Lighting and their majesties were in the front row.
Soon, a light red alicorn with a yellow mane came out on stage performing her tricks.
Everypony loved her tricks, but their was one thing that annoyed ponies....her bragging. The alicorn's name was Sizzle. Sizzle went on about being trained by powerful creatures, boasting about there was nobody who could surpass her.
"I, Sizzle is the most magical alicorn in all of United Equestria!" She declared.
"Oh Yea, well Jewel can take you on any-" Starla tried to shout out, but Jewel covered her mouth, hoping Sizzle didn't hear it.
Unfortunately she did!
"So, you, a unicorn , believes that you an alicorn ? Why don't you come on up and show us what you can do. Show us all." Sizzle offered.
Jewel was very hesitant.
"I....uh...um." Jewel replied.
"Well, little hayseed." Sizzle added.
Lightning had heard enough! "Alright. That's it. I can't stand for anymore of this!" Lightning said and he took the stage.
"You show her honey!" Starla cheered.
"Can your magic do this?"
Lightning shot his uniforce attack and it shot into the sky and exploded into the words 'United Equestria'. The crowd was impressed.
"Pffft. That's not impressive. This is impressive."
Sizzle then used her magic on the lighting cloud and made it twirl around Lighting and when it stopped there were six lighting clouds. Sizzle then made them shock Lighting with electricity. Lighting yelled in pain and fell over. Starla and the entire crowd gasped. Starla rushed over to her husband.
"Lighting, are you okay?" She asked.
"Uggh. I'm good." Lighting moaned.
Starla helped Lighting into the crowd. Finally, their majesties have seen enough.
"Now it's our turn. Ready darling?" Grand Ruler asked. Celestia nodded.
With that, they took to the stage. The crowd was surprised and confident that the royal couple would put Sizzle in her place.
"Their majesties are going next"
"Ooh. Sizzle definately will be defeated."
"Go your majesties!"
"Ahh. So the royal couple comes. Think you have what it takes?" Sizzle asked.
"Oooooooooh." The crowd said. Nobody disrespects their majesties like that.
"Lets have the magic speak for itself." Grand Ruler challenged.
"Works for me" Sizzle said.
The alicorns began to show off their skills while singing a song.

When it was over, not even their majesties couldn't even outclass Sizzle.
"These alicorns aren't even a challenge. I want to duel with a real true magical pony. And that pony will be.....you ." Sizzle pointed to Jewel.
Jewel gupled nervously.
"I challenge you to a magic duel tommorrow at high noon. And the winner is dubbed 'the most talented pony' and the loser.....leaves New Ponyville FOREVER ! And if you forfeit your still considered the loser."
Everybody, including their royal majesties, gasped in horror. Sizzle packed everything up and left. Their majesties immediately held a meeting to discuss what happened. Lighting's friends were shocked!
"Leave New Ponyville. Forever?!"
"That's crazy!"
"Jewel, you can't go through with this."
"I have no choice, if I forfeit, I'll still have to leave." Jewel explained, "I....need some time....alone." Jewel sighed and left the throne room to think.
"Poor chica." Dyno said.
"That alicorn's a jerk. Forcing our friend to duel with her and disrespecting their majesties!" Myte added.
"Master, do you think Jewel can win?" Lighting asked.
"We have all seen that Jewel magic has increased dramactically over these few months. But I think she's scared to show off her talents in front of a crowd." Grand Ruler replied.
"Scared? Of what?" Artie asked.
"When Sizzle was showing off her magic skills and bragging about herself, the crowd was annoyed. I think Jewel's worried that if she shows off her magic, then she'll be as big of a showoff as Sizzle." Starla predicted.
"I believe Starla is right
"But what can we do?" Buddy asked.
"This is something Jewel needs to figure out on her own." Grand Ruler replied.
Meanwhile, Jewel was in the royal library studying new spells, but she was distracted. "I don't wanna be a show off like Sizzle, but then I'll have to leave New Ponyville....all my friends forever." Jewel thought to herself.
Jewel placed her head on the book. "What am I gonna do?"
Jewel stayed in the library all day and into the night. Jewel woke up with a really empty stomach. "Man, I'm starving." Jewel got up and made herself sandwich and went back to the library. "What am I gonna do?"
Then, a tube of light came in front of Jewel and Twilight's angel-corn appeared. "Twilight!" Jewel whispered. "Good evening Jewel. I sense you are anxious about something. You wanna tell me what it is?" Twilight asked. So Jewel told Twilight everything that happened. "I want to defend my friends but I don't want them to to hate me for showing off." Jewel concluded.
"You know Jewel, I faced a similar problem. There was a unicorn named Trixie and she was a loudmouth and showing off her magic like Sizzle. My friends wanted me to show my magic to beat her. But, I was so afraid that I hid a part of who I was. My friends helped me to learn that it's okay to show of your talents especially, when your standing up for your friends . I suggest you take that into consideration." Twilight explained. Jewel nodded. "I must go now. Until next time Jewel." Twilight said and she vanished.
Jewel went back to her room and crawled into her bed. She stares at the ceiling and thinks about what Twilight said. It's okay to show of your talents especially when your standing up for your friends . Jewel closes her eyes and falls asleep.
The next morning, at high noon, Sizzle was in front of town hall and a crowd had gathered. All of Jewel's friends and their majesties were in the crowd. But Jewel was nowhere in sight.
"Where's Jewel?" Lightning asked.
"I don't know. I didn't see her this morning." Starla replied.
"Ahh, so the challenger is a no show. Looks like I'm the win-" Sizzle delcared but was cut off.
"Not so fast!" Everybody turned and saw Jewel on the other side of the field.
"Look who showed up." Sizzle said.
"I'm here to defend my friends honor." Jewel called.
"Well. Let's get this party started. Prepared to be banished." Sizzle said.
Sizzle started off by using her magic a create a ball of light which exploded and caused sparkles to appear spelling her name in the sky. Jewel started by using her magic on some clouds. Jewel concentrated and the clouds grew and turned into four, howling wolves. The crowd was in awe. Sizzle was not amused.
Sizzle then made herself invisible and reappear in front of Jewel. Jewel then used her magic to make six copies of herself.
"Cool!" Lighting exclaimed.
Even their majesties were impressed. Sizzle was getting angry, any trick she tried was outclassed by Jewel. Finally she had enough!
Sizzle fired a beam of fire magic from her horn. It burned Jewel badly, but she still managed to stand up. The crowd was shocked.
"I'm tired of this! Let's end this." Sizzle charged at Jewel delivering punches and kicks to Jewel's face and arms. Jewel tried to counter bit she was too weak from the fire blast to do.
The crowd looked on in horror!
"Say goodbye Jewel!"
Sizzle formed a huge fireball in her horn and launched it at Jewel. When it made contact a huge explosion came and Jewel was sent flying back....into the New Everfree Forest!
"JEWEL!" Their majesties called.
The two of them rushed out of the crowd and into the forest. They found a crater and in the center was Jewel. Their majesties rushed to the center.
Jewel was in bad shape! Her clothes were badly hurt as well as her skin. Her face was covered in bruises and she had a black eye. Her left leg and right arm looked to be broken.
"Hang on sweetie, we'll get you to the hospital." Celsetia said.
She and her husband teleported to the New Ponyville Hospital and Jewel was immediately treated for her injuries.
Now, she was asleep in the recovery room with her leg and arm in a cast and being held up by a sling. There were bandages around her. Jewel had an ice pack on her head to calm the swelling
She sustained third-degree burns from Sizzle's fire attacks. All of Jewel's friends came into the room to see how she's doing.
"She looks so weak." Starla said.
"But Penny said that she'll make a full recovery." Lighting reassured.
Just then, Jewel began to stir and groan.
"Oooooooooh, my.....aching.....everything." she groaned.
"Jewel, you're alright!" Starla cried. Jewel looked and saw all her friends.
"Hey guys, what happened?"
"Sizzle used her fire magic and really injured you. Their majesties brought you here. They've been worried sick." Artie explained.
"So..do I lose the magic duel?" Jewel asked with wory.
"No, Sizzle was disqualified for intentionally harming her competition." A voice said.
Everyone turned and saw Celestia and her husband with relieved experssion on their faces.
"How are you feeling Jewel?" Celestia asked.
"Just a little sore." Jewel replied with a smile.
"Jewel, thanks for standing up for us." Lighting thanked.
"Hehe, I just wanted to defend your guys honor that's all."
As soon as Jewel said that, she began to glow in a white arua. Then her hands turned into paws, her fluffy tail turned slim, her pony ears turned cat-like, as well as a pair of pink whiskers formed on her the corners of her mouth. "Woah, what?"
Then her crown appeared in front of her with another symbol to the right of the wolf. It was a cat and dragon symbol.
"Woah! A cat and dragon symbol?!" Starla exclaimed.
"But how?" Lighting asked.
"Both cats and dragons are known for representing great power. When Jewel battled with Sizzle, she showed her own magical abilites, gaining the cat and dragon symbol in the process." Grand Ruler explained.
Everybody was in awe. Now Jewel has two new symbols for her crown. Who knows what'll happen next?
In our next episode... Jewel gets into big trouble when Bron and Carla capture her. Lighting and the gang try to save her but it turns out to be harder than they thought.

Episode 10: Swamp Dangers
Sombra and Chrysalis were not happy! Every time their puppets or minions got close to destroying the ponies, Jewel comes in and defeats them.
"That pesky unicorn is always getting in our way." Sombra said.
"We will need to get rid of her for our future plans to succeed." Chrysalis added. Sombra called Bron and Carla.
"Yes your majesty?" Bron asked.
"I want you and Carla to destroy this unicorn, so she won't disrput with our plans." Sombra ordered while showing them a picture of Jewel.
"How do your want us to destroy her?" Bron asked.
Chrysalis showed them a picture of a swamp with an eerie background. "By taking her to this place and feed get to a hydra." Chrysalis replied. Bron Carla and exited the hideout with a new mission at hand.
"That little unicorn will soon her doom!" Sombra declared.
Meanwhile, it was late at night in New Canterlot and Jewel was sleeping peacefully, she heard something open her bedroom door. She opened her eyes and gasped when she saw two shadows in front of her.
"Um...Hi." Jewel greeted nervously. The shadows chuckled and began to change. When they were done, it was revealed that the shadows were actually Bron and Carla! They both stared evily at her.
"Hello Jewel. Let's go have some fun." Bron said and he and Carla grabbed Jewel, who tried to fight back by blasting them with her magic and struggling in their grip but they were too strong for her. They gagged her with a rope and tossed her into a bag. Jewel tried to call for help but it was too late! Bron and Carla vanished into thin air with Jewel in their possesion but not before leaving a note.
The next morning, everybody was up and eating breakfast. Everybody except Jewel, mainly because she didn't show up yet. “Hey! Has anybody seen Jewel?” Starla asked.
"Nope. I don't know where she went." Lightning replied.
“No idea," Dyno replied.
“We didn't see her at all,” Myte added.
Suddenly Goldwin burst into the dining room in distress. "Guys! It's horrible. Come quick!"
“Goldwin, what's wrong?,” Grand Ruler asked.
"It's Jewel!" Goldwin lead the gang to Jewel's room and entered. Everybody gasped!
“‘Ay Carumba!” Dyno and Myte exclaimed.
Jewel's room was ruined. Holes in the walls, the window was busted and her bed covers were all twisted. And worst of all her crown and energizer were on the floor!
“What happened?” Starla asked.
“Looks like the signs of a struggle.” Buddy replied.
“Struggle?,” Queen Celestia repeated, “But who could have done this?,”
“I think I just found out who.” Lightning said.
Lightning came over with a note it read:
Once have you little alicorn bring her to The Violet Swamp where she will meet her doom!
King Sombra
Everybody was shocked and outraged!
“We gotta rescue her!,” Spike said.
“Si, Jewel's never been in the Violet Swamp before. She doesn't know what lurks in there, she's in big trouble,” Dyno added.
“Well what are we standing around here for?,” Myte questioned, ”Vamos amigos!”
Everybody, including the royal alicorns headed to the Violet Swamp to save Jewel.
Meanwhile at the Violet Swamp, Jewel was in real pickle! Carla and Bron bounded her arms and legs and they put a brace on her horn so she couldn't use her magic. To make matters worse, the pair had Jewel dangling off the edge of the mountain, above a really sticky mud pit!
“This is what happens to people who interfere with King Sombra and his Queen one too many times.” Bron elaborated. Jewel gulped fearfully.
“Guys, I could really use your help right now .” Jewel thought nervously.
Just then, a golden projectile came and hit Carla sending her flying back. Bron and Jewel turned, Jewel’s face turned from nervous to relief when she saw her friends; transformed and ready for battle.
“Well, look who came to get there little friend back,” Bron taunted.
“Let Jewel go this instant!” Grand Ruler demanded, “or else you'll face the wrath of Starfleet!”
“But if you do that, we'll have to send her down, into a muddy grave!” Carla retorted. Then she fake, almost dropped the rope, causing Jewel to scream in fear. Everybody stood where they were for a long tense minute, waiting for the moment to attack. Suddenly, Bron let go of the rope.
"Oops." He said sarcastically. To everyone’s horror, Jewel tumbled down the mountain's side, landing her in the sticky mud pit. Jewel struggled to get loose, but it only caused her to become more stuck. Then, she started to sink into the mud pit and the more she struggled, the more she sank!
“HELP!” Jewel screamed.
Dyno and Myte raced towards Jewel,
“Hold on chica!” Dyno yelled,
“We’re coming!” Myte added.
Suddenly, Carla jumped in front of the twins, “You’ll have to defeat me first to get to the girl!” she challenged. Dyno and Myte both took their battle stances, ready to battle Carla to save Jewel. Carla charged at the twins, they both dodged and kicked her hard, knocking her onto to floor. She got up quickly and shot a beam of magic at them.
"BOOM BOOM FIREBALLS! "
The twins combined their power and shot fireballs at Eagle Eye, burning her badly and knocking her unconscious.
“ARRIBA..!!” they cheered.
“Um, guys, a little help here,” Jewel called. Jewel was up to her chest in the sticky mud.
“Coming!” the twins yelled simultaneously.
The twins raced towards Jewel when the ground started rumbling,
“What’s that?” Jewel asked.
Suddenly, a hydra came from beneath Jewel and stood at seventeen feet tall. The hydra’s six heads turned to Jewel and licked their lips in hunger. Jewel gulped nervously. The hydra was looking at Jewel with hunger filled eyes. One head opened it’s jaw to eat her, but Dyno kicked it.
“You’re not gonna eat our friend,” Dyno yelled.
The others were still brawling with Bron until Grand Ruler fired...
"TENFOLD UNIFORCE...!!!!"
The attack caused great damage to him and reluctantly he grabbed an unconscious Carla and ran off.
Meanwhile, there were too many heads for the twins to handle. The other five heads began to attack Jewel, while the one head dealt with Dyno and Myte. Jewel tried her best to dodge, but the heads were too clever. Jewel was tossed into the air and the middle hydra head closed its jaws around her.
“JEWEL!” the gang yelled.
The middle hydra swallowed and a lump was seen going to the stomach. The gang could even heard Jewel's scream.
"WWOOAAAAAHHHH!"
Nobody did anything for a minute, they were shocked. Until, they saw the lump moving up the from stomach to the middle hydra head's neck and into the mouth.
"What the-?," Lighting asked.
The middle hydra’s mouth was slowly pried open, it was Jewel! She was using her shoulders and legs to keep the hydra’s jaws open, while she was struggling not to be eaten...again.
“Grrrr. G-g-guys h-h-help!” Jewel called, desperately, struggling to keep the mouth open. The entire gang flew up to the hydra’s mouth. “Hang in there Jewel,” Lightning said, “We'll get you out of there,”
“Grr..hurry guys. I don't think....I can hold this.... for much longer, ooooh.” Jewel groaned. Jewel was starting to lose strength and the hydra's mouth began to close again. Grand Ruler and the queen blasted the hydra's nose, causing an irritation which caused it to sneeze.
“YAAAAHHH!!,” Jewel screamed as she flew out of the hydra's mouth.
Dyno and Myte caught her!
“We got you chica,” Dyno stated. Jewel saw that she was covered in light green hydra slobber.
"Ugh, I'm gonna take a week's worth of baths when we get back!," Jewel stated. Dyno and Myte chuckled.
“Let's get you back to New Canterlot,” Myte added.
The gang quickly flew back to New Canterlot with Jewel. Jewel took a about ten baths to finally get the slobber out of her. That afternoon, Jewel was fast asleep after eating a hearty breakfast and taking an hour-long bath.
Meanwhile, the royal ones, Lightning and his team were discussing what happened.
“It is true that Jewel is in immediate danger,” Grand Ruler stated, “Sombra and Chrysalis may try to capture Jewel so she can't interfere with their plans." Celestia added.
“So what do we do?,” Lightning asked.
“We'll have to keep a very close eye on her.” Grand Ruler explained. Starla was very worried for their best friend's safety.
"Don't worry Starla. We'll keep Jewel safe." Lighting reassured. Starla felt a little better. "For now we all have to continue Jewel's training, so she'll be perpared the upcoming battles ahead." Grand Ruler added.
Everybody agreed.
In our next episode... Jewel recieves a vision about a strange mythical object that she must find. When she attempts to find it, she runs into big trouble. But with the help of some new animal friends, will Jewel succeed?

Episode 12: Part 2: Race to the Sword
Night had fallen on the planet Allura. Jewel and her animal friends; Lyria, Starlight and Aqua were all and resting by a campfire. Jewel was eating some of her food that Buddy made for her, while her animal friends ate fruit and some meat. Jewel's ankle had healed, but her burned arm still needed time to heal.
"Thanks for helping me out, guys." Jewel praised. Lyria, Starlight and Aqua all looked at her.
"No problem Jewel." Lyria replied.
"Yea, we're happy to help you." Aqua added. Straight nodded in agreement.
Jewel then let out a yawn and suggested they go to bed. The gang all climbed into the tent and Jewel climbed into her into her sleeping bag. "*Yawn*, Night guys." She said.
"Night Jewel." The gang replied and they drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, the gang heard some rustling outside their tent. Jewel went to investigate and was met by a familiar humanoid cheetah. "Swift?!, H-How did you know I was here?" Jewel asked. Lyria, Starlight and Aqua all exited the tent. "What's going in?" Starlight asked.
"You didn't think Sombra and Chrysalis were watching you and your feeble attempt to get the Sword of Animal Spirits?" Swift asked.
"You'll never get your paws on it!" Jewel declared.
"Oh, but I will. Once I get rid of you, there will be no one to stand in my way!" Swift added. Swift blasted a pulse at Jewel, but it was intercepted by Starlight, who slashed the attack in half. He and the others stood in front of Jewel.
"You will not lay a hand on our friends!" Lyria declared. Seeing he was outnumbered, Swift retreated, but not before sending a smirk in Jewel's direction. "Who was that guys?" Aqua asked.
"That was Swift. He's a minion of King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis." Jewel explained. The others gasped in shock. They all have heard of King Sombra and Queen Chysalis and they were nothing short of nightmares. "I need to find the sword before Swift. If I don't, the sword will be used for evil." Jewel added.
"They will have to hurry." Lyria said. Jewel was a little concerned.
"Are you sure you guys? Swift is very powerful. He almost killed me the first time I met him. I don't want him to hurt any of you." Jewel replied.
Lyria stepped forward. "Jewel, we all promised that we will stay with you and help you get the sword. We are not leaving you alone until we do." The others nodded.
Jewel smiled gratefully, "Thanks guys." Jewel said. So, the gang continued following the gem path until they came to a large gorge. Jewel and Aqua looked into the gorge and saw...well nothing but darkness. "It's sure a long way down." Jewel said. "Yep." Aqua agreed.
Starlight and Lyria looked as well. "Looks like we'll have to fly over." Lyria concluded. "But, Aqua is the only one who can fly." Jewel pointed out.
"That's not entirely true. I can fly with my magic and Starlight can make a cloud of stars to fly him over the gorge." Lyria replied.
"But what about Jewel?" Aqua added.
"Maybe I can add some assistance." A voice called. Everybody turned to the sky and saw a female pheonix desending from the night sky. It's feather glowed in the moonlight, it's firey tail and wings shined like a lantern. The pheonix landed in front of Jewel.
"I've been following you in case you would need assistance. And it looks like you need it. I can carry Jewel across this gorge, so you can continue on your quest. The name's Wildfire by the way." She said.
The others were thankful for Wildfire's assistance. She grabbed Jewel by her shoulders and carried her across the gorge. "Thanks Wildfire." Jewel thanked.
"It's was no trouble at all." Wildfire replied.
"Hey Wildfire, do you wanna join us on our quest?" Jewel asked.
"Hmmmm. well.... my life has been ratherc boring. I guess little excitement won't hurt. Alright I will join you in your quest!" Wildfire said. The team of friends continued their trek until they heard a buzzing sound.
"What's that?" Aqua asked.
Jewel's heart sank, knowing exactly what that sounds was.
"CHANGELINGS!!!"
Changelings began to rain down from the sky, surrounding Jewel and her friends. "What do we do?" Lyria asked.
"We'll have to fight them!" Jewel said.
"Sweet!" Aqua exclaimed, rubbing his paws together, "time for some real excitment!"
The animals and Jewel charged the changelings. Jewel and Lyria blasted them with her magic, Aqua and Wildfire blasted them with blue and red fire. Starlight sent a stream of stars at the changelings, hitting them and sending them far away.
Knowing they were outmatched, the changelings quickly retreated.
"Yeah! You better run!" Aqua declared.
"And don't come back!" Wildfire added.
They all saw the changeling vanish in the sky.
"THAT.... WAS.... AWESOME!" Aqua shouted.
"Indeed it was." Starlight added.
"I've never been in a fight before, how exhilarating!" Wildfire exclaimed.
Jewel chuckled qt her friends reactions, "Come on gang, to the Sword of Animal Spirits!" Jewel called.
"YEAH!" the animals cried.
The gang saw the gem path before and followed it to a clearing and in the middle of the clearing with the Sword of Animal Spirits!
Woah, the Sword of Animal Spirits. I've found it! " Jewel thought, excitedly. Jewel made a dash for it, but Swift jumped down in front of her.
"Well, well, well, looks like you too late Jewel." He taunted.
"Out of the way Swift! I've got a sword to claim." Jewel ordered.
"You'll have to defeat me first." Swift challenged. Swift charged Jewel and rammed into her. Jewel countered by punching Swift in the face. The two exchanged punches and kicks until Jewel used her tail to hit Swift in the hip, sending him into a tree. "Alright Jewel!" Wildfrie cheered. Swift growled in defeat and retreated.
The strain of the battle caused Jewel to fall onto her behind, exhausted. Her animal friends came to her side. "You okay Jewel?" Starlight asked.
"Yea. Just a little winded." Jewel replied. After regaining her breath, Jewel stood uo and approached the sword. It had two light pink, spiral lines going around the silver blade, meeting at the tip. Also, it had a rainbow star with the colors of the elements of harmony on the tip. The handle was yellow.
"Woah, awesome." Jewel said.
"It looks like your quest is complete." Lyria concluded. "Yea, but I've couldn't have done it without all your help. Thanks." Jewel replied. Her friends smiled. Suddenly, a scroll appeared before Jewel, she unrolled the scroll and read it.
Jewel, You must return to United Equestria at once! Something terrible has happened and we need you.
Jewel knew that something must be terribly wrong.
"Not good. Oh, I've gotta get back. But, I'll need another dimensional pathway to get back home."
"We can help you get back." Lyria offered. She used her magic to make a dimensional pathway to United Equestria. "Thanks so much. All of you." Jewel thanked.
"See you next time Jewel." Starlight, Lyria, Aqua and Wildfire called.
Jewel waved goodbye to them and jumped into the pathway. In no time at all, Jewel was in the royal palace hallway, outside the throne room. She heard her friends voices in the throne room. She peeked into the throne room and gasped.
Bron and Carla have taken control of the throne room and had her friends trapped in a anti-magic, crystal box. "You won't get away with this!" Grand Ruler snarled.
"And who's gonna stop us?" Bron taunted.
"That would be me."
Everybody turned and saw Jewel standing in the doorway, holding her sword. The gang was relieved to see Jewel again. Unlike, Bron and Carla, "So....you've returned huh?" Carla taunted.
"That's right and I'm gonna defeat you again." Jewel stated proudly.
"With that puny little thing? We'll see about that." Bron replied.
Carla and Bronc fired their magic at Jewel, who deflected the beams with her sword. "What?!" Carla exclaimed. Jewel dashed forward and slashed the duo with her sword, causing extreme damage.
"Incredible!" Grand Ruler exclaimed.
"Cool." added Lightning.
Jewel powered up some of her magic and it was absorbed into the sword. Jewel fired the finishing attack... "SPIRIT BEAM". The attack consumed Carla and Bron. When the dust cleared, Bron and Carla were gone!
"They must have vanished before the attack struck!" His majesty said.
"Alright Jewel!" Dyno cried happily.
"You did it!" Added Myte. Jewel went over to her friends and sliced through the box like a piece of pie. All her friends were amazed by Jewel handy work with the sword.
"It appears that you've found the sword." Grand Ruler stated.
"And you've proven to use it wisely." Celestia added.
Jewel blushed. "Thank you, your majesties." Jewel thanked.
Lighting was proud of Jewel for completing her mission and rescuing her friends again. That night, a ceremony was held for Jewel's bravery and first space travel mission. Jewel approached their majesties and Grand Ruler began the ceremony.
"On this auspicious occasion, we are gathered here to congratulate our newest Senior Lieutenant Jewel for saving our lives once again. Jewel, for your bravery in the face of danger, you are hereby promoted to Major!"
The crwd cheered and shouted with joy with Lightning and the gang being the loudest. Jewel was smiling very big with pride. Now, she's ranked up and will soon catch up to her friends.
In the next episode of Starfleet Magic... Jewel meets the mane 6, Mykan Stevens and Spike and shows off her special talents, impressing everyone except Rainbow Dash and Applejack. They both plot to put Jewel in her place but it ends with some bad consequences for Jewel. Mykan and Spike teach the girls about jealously and the consequences that it can bring.

Episode 13: New Friends and Jealousy
It's been a week since Jewel became a Major. She's been training her animal powers in the dojo, now she can transform half-way into the animals on her crown. Now she was walking in New Ponyville.
Everybody was doing their own thing; adults went to work andchildren went to school. Jewel came to the middle of town when she spotted a group of five ponies, a dragon and a human.
One pony was a pegasus with a light blue body and a rainbow mane and a cloud with a rainbow lighting bolt coming out as her cutie mark. The second pegasus was light yellow with a pink and three pink butterflies as her cutie mark.
One was a unicorn pony which was white with a purple curly mane and tail with three blue diamonds as her cutie mark.
The other was pink earth pony with a dark pink mane and tail that looked like cotton candy with two blue and one yellow balloons as her cutie mark. The other earth pony was orange with a yellow mane and tail tied at the ends with a red band. She was also wearing a stetson hat and has three red apples as her cutie mark.
The human appeared to be 19 years old, peached colored and had short, brown hair and eyes. Finally, the dragon was purple with a green spikes running down from his head to his tail with a lime green underbelly.
Jewel approached them and said hi.
"Howdy, my name is Applejack. What's your name?" She asked.
My name is-" Jewel started but was cut off by Pinkie.
"Your Jewel, the newest Major of Starfleet, who also has the power to transform in animals and gain their natural abilites. And was recently adopted by Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia. *Gasp* Right?" Pinkie stated. Jewel looked bewildered.
"Y-Yes. How did you know all that?" Jewel asked.
"Trust me. Don't not ask." The human replied. "My name is Mykan Stevens."
"My name is Spike."
"I'm Rarity, darling. Spike's loving wife."
"I'm Rainbow Dash, the fastest pony out of all Equestrians."
"Umm... I'm Fluttershy. Rhymey's wife."
"And I'm Pinkie Pie."
"Its nice to meet you all." Jewel greeted.
"So you can really change into animals?" Mykan asked. Jewel nodded.
"Can we see?" Spike asked. Jewel nodded.
Soon, everybody was at New Sweet Apple Acers and were in a clearing in the orchard. They all decided that the best way for Jewel to show off her transformations was in a friendly contest with Applejack and Rainbow Dash.
"Now. We are going to have a little competition to see Jewel's new power. Applejack and Jewel will knock down as many apples as they can. Whoever has the most first, wins." Mykan announced. Jewel transformed into her wolf form.
"Ready. Set......GO!"
The racers dashed off into the orchard, knocking down and collecting every apple they could find and within a minute, Applejack came back with 200 apples.
"Nice work, Applejack!" Rainbow praised. Applejack smiled, but it was replaced with shock as soon as Jewel came back......with a thousand apples in a couple buckets. Everybody was shocked.
"Amazing!" Pinkie praised. She and the others began praising Jewel for her outstanding work, while Applejack ans Rainbow Dash stayed back. "Ah' don't believe it." She said in disbelief. "Don't worry AJ, I'll get in the next contest..." Rainbow dash proudly.....
Sadly, she was totally wrong. The next contest was a cloud clearing contest. Jewel changed into her dragon form for this part. Rainbow Dash thought she had this in the bag. Rainbow cleared the sky in ten seconds. However, Jewel cleared the sky in under two seconds. Rainbow and Applejack did not like this at all.
"All our friends think Jewel is so special just because she can transform and bested us at what we're good at." Rainbow stated.
"We've got to put her in her place and I know just the way." Applejack added while smirking evily.
Hours later, the girls and Spike went home and Mykan teleported to his home in New Canterlot. Only Rainbow Dash and Applejack stayed with Jewel.
"Hey Jewel! Come here." Rainbow called. Jewel came over with a smile on her face, which vanished when she saw Rainbow and Applejack's upset faces.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Okay Jewel. As we all know, you're a Major." Applejack started. Jewel nodded.
"Well we are First Class Majors, which are far more superior than a Major. Meaning that you have to do what we say, okay?" Rainbow added. Jewel gulped and nodded.
For the next five days, Jewel did all of Applejack and Rainbow's chores; applebucking, clearing the clouds, cleaning the pigs and plowing the fields. She even watered the farm plants while it was pouring rain!
By day six, when everyone went to New Canterlot, requested by their royal majesties, Jewel was utterly exhausted!
Lighting, his friends, Mykan, Spike and the friendship ponies were present but Jewel was no where to seen. "Thank you for coming everyone." Grand Ruler stated.
"Why have you called us here?" Starla asked.
"We believe we may have found another secret about Jewel's sword." Queen Celestia replied. Everyone gasped in shock.
"Really?!" cried Dyno.
"Awesome!" added Myte.
"We've gotta tell Jewel.......wait where is Jewel?" Spike asked.
Everyone looked around the room, no sign of Jewel. "Now that you mention it, I haven't seen her all afternoon. Last time, I saw her was with Rainbow and Applejack." Mykan added.
The doors to the throne room creaked open and Jewel came in. Everybody gasped in shock. Jewel looked horrible; she was dripping water and shivering, her nose with bright pink, her mane was really disleveled and messy with leaves and dirt in it. She had some scratches on her as well. She was a mess!
"*Sniffle* Hey guys, *cough, cough*" Jewel greeted stuffed up.
The friendship ponies, except for Rainbow and Applejack, raced towards Jewel, who was struggling to stay standing.
"Jewel, darling, what ever happened that made you like this?" Rarity asked.
"*Sniffle* I-I was j-just *Achoo Achoo*" Jewel tried explaining. Mykan stepped forth and helped Jewel stand up.
"Come on Jewel, you need some rest. You can rest at my house." Mykan offered. Jewel was too tired to reply, so she just nodded. Mykan began leading Jewel out of the palace and to his home.
*Mykan’s POV*
I lead Jewel to my home and helped her over to the couch to rest. I placed a pillow on the left end of the couch and Jewel layed down. I got a blanket from my bedroom and placed it on her.
"*Sniffle* Thanks Mykan." Jewel thanked.
I smiled at her. "No problem, now get some rest so you can get better."
Jewel nodded and began to dose off but I asked her one last question.
"Jewel, how did you end up like this?"
"Applejack and Rainbow Dash had me do their chores." Jewel answered.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because they said *Sniffle* that as First Class Majors they're my superiors and that I have to do whatever they say."
"Okay, thanks Jewel."
With that, Jewel went to sleep, while I exited my house and teleported back to the royal palace.
*POV Ends*
Back at the royal palace, everyone was trying to figure out how Jewel got so sick and weak.
"Maybe she was training too hard." Starla predicted.
"She could not have, we have not seen her in the dojo lately. And that war rain water on her, not sweat." Grand Ruler objected.
"Then what happened?" Lighting asked.
Just then, Mykan popped into the room. "I believe I could answer that." He said in an upset voice.
"What happened Mykan?" Pinkie asked.
"Jewel just told me that Applejack and Rainbow Dash had her to their chores for them all this week." Everybody turned to Rainbow and Applejack with upset faces. "Rainbow, Applejack, why would you do that to Jewel?!" Starla asked.
"Because she was showing off." Rainbow answered, gruffly.
"Showing off? How?" Fluttershy asked.
"She collected more apples than Applejack and cleared more clouds faster than me."
"But that's not showing off. Did she even brag about beating you two?"
"...Well.....no"
"Then, that's not showing off."
"It sounds like you two were jealous of Jewel. Jealously can make ponies to mean and crazy things with bad consequences. You two should go apologize to Jewel and find a way to make it up to her." Artie added.
"Also, you two are sentenced to forty-eight hours of community service." Celestia said.
Rainbow and Applejack hung their heads in shame.
Back at Mykan's house, Jewel was sleeping like a baby when she awoke to Mykan coming in to check on her. "Hey Jewel. How are you feelin?" he asked.
"A little better." Jewel replied.
Then, Jewel stomach growled loudly and she blushed with embrrassmet. "Sorry. My stomach gets kinda growly when I'm hungry." Mykan smiled at her and went to get her some food. He came back a few minutes later with a bowl of chicken soup.
"Here Jewel, this should help you feel better."
"*Sniffle* Thanks Mykan." Jewel thanked. Mykan spoon fed Jewel until the bowl was empty. "Now get some sleep and you'll be better in no time." Mykan suggested. Jewel nodded and fell asleep.
Two days passed and Jewel was feeling all better. Jewel saw Rainbow Dash and Applejack talking top each other. Jewel went over to them.
"Hi girls." She greeted.
"Hey Jewel. Look we're sorry about making you do all our chores. We were just jealous of your abilites and what we did was silly and foolish. Can you forgive us?" Rainbow dash asked.
"Of course I forgive you. So...friends?" Jewel asked.
"Friends!" Applejack and Rainbow dash agreed.The girlsshared a laugh.

Episode 14: A Not So Hearth's Warming Eve
It was nightime in United Equestria and all of the ponies were sleeping. Princess Luna watch over the night. At Lightning and Starla's house, everypony was asleep except one. Jewel was looking out the window at the moon, thinking.
Tommorow would be Hearth's Warming Eve!
However, Jewel was not happy. Hearth's Warming Eve, to her would only bring back a terrible memory. She tried not to think about it and she started singing:
Hush little one And close your eyes Dream of our hearts side by side The moon and stars will be your guide tonight
Hush little one And say goodnight Two stars shine as one tonight So make a wish And close your eyes And may your wish come true Tonight
Hush little one Goodnight
Jewel shed a tear and crawled into her bed and fell asleep for the night.
The next day, snow was falling and bells were ringing. Every home in New Ponyville and Canterlot was decorated for Hearth's Warming Eve. Everybody was singing a song about how much they loved Hearth's Warming Eve.

Lightning ing and his friends were in New Canterlot Palace in the royal throne room with the royal alicorns and Shining Armor. The walls were decorated with lights and flowers, a tree in the corner the room was littered with presents, plus a table with food and refreshments.
"I love Hearth's Warming Eve!" Cadence exclaimed.
"Me too." Shining added.
Lighting and the gang expressed the joy for the holiday, when Jewel came into the room. "Hey Jewel! Ready to celebrate your first Hearth's Warming Eve here in United Equestria?" Starla asked. The ponies looked at Jewel, noticing she had a really miserable expression on her face
"Ehh, I was thinking I might just skip it." Jewel replied, emotionless. Everybody gasped in shock!
"Skip Hearth's Warming Eve?!" Lightning repeated.
"Why would you wanna do that Jewel?" Celestia asked.
"It just brings back bad memories." Jewel stated. The ponies looked at Jewel, confused. "Bad memories about what?" Shining pressed. Jewel sighed, "I-I... don't want to talk about it." she replied in a sad tone. Jewel turned away and walked out of the room with her shoulders slumped and her head down.
"Now why in United Equestria would Jewel wanna to skip Hearth's Warming Eve? It doesn't make a lick of sense!" Applejack asked.
"I don't know, but it is obvious that Jewel's suffering from something that connects to this day. The question is what is it?" Lightning replied. While all the ponies began thinking, Starla suddenly remebered something,
"You know, I did hear Jewel singing what sounded like a lullaby."
"A lullaby?" Everypony repeated confused.
"Why would Jewel sing a lullaby?" Cadence asked.
"The only one would can tell us that is Jewel." Dyno said.
"Si, we got to get her to spill the beans." Myte agreed. Everypony spread out to look for their friend. Soon, Starla found Jewel in the New Canterlot garden.
"Jewel. Are you okay?" she asked gently.
"No. I'm not." Jewel replied sadly.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"No thank you."
"Jewel, I know your hurting. You'll feel better off you talk to us about it."
Seeing that Starla wasn't going to give this up, Jewel sighed in defeat, ".....Sure. Why not."
Starla led Jewel back to the throne room where the gang was waiting for her.
"Hey, Jewel," Buddy greeted, " you wanna tell us what's got you so sad?"
Jewel sighed and nodded head.
"I don't want to celebtate Hearth's Warming Eve because..... it reminds me of how I lost my parents." Jewel replied. All the ponies gasped in horror.
"You lost your parents?!" Starla asked.
"How?" Lightning added, so Jewel explained.
"My original home was on a plant named Harmony. My mom was a alicorn with a dark pink mane and tail with a white body with no cutie mark and my dad was an unicorn with yellow mane and tail with blue fur and wings with yellow shading and a star cutie mark,
My mom and dad were the best. They always cheered me up and cared for me. Everybody in Harmony had powerful magic. There were no pegasi or earth ponies. For the first nine years, my life was perfect.
Until one day....My mom and dad were walking in the street when out of nowhere a big snake came up and then hundreds more came in. All my people were fighting but my mom and dad didn't because they wanted me to be safe. They made a dimensional path for me to be teleported for safety.
'Can't you guys come?' asked nine year old Jewel.
'Sorry sweetie. But we have to stay here. We only built is strong enough for you.' I was heart broken by that. Before I jumped into the path my mom gave me a necklace with pendant crystal. It contained all the memories I've had with them, so I could remeber them.
'Remeber our little diamond. We'll always be here for you. No matter where you go' Jewel's mom said. Then I jumped into the portal.
When I woke up I was surrounded by all kinds of animals; Unicorns, Alicorns, Hippogriffs, Jaguins, Pheonix's, you name it.
A Comet and Star wolf pack approached me and saw that I was all alone. The wolf pack leaders were named Raksha and Akela. They took me in and raised me as one of their own.
They fed me, played with me, they even introduced me to all of the creatures. My wolf, adoptive mom was a bit protective of me and usually went crazy when I was late getting home but my adoptive wolf dad calmed her down.
Over the next nine years, I've grown a deep bond with all of the animals. I thought that it would be like that forever. Unfortunately, the same snakes that attack my home planet came back! My wolf parents made another pathway to help me escape...again. They said that I would be teleported to a place where I could live happy and be protected. Also find another true family to call my own. They gave me a another pendant, shaped like a wolf, for my necklace that had all my memories of them.
I jumped in and it teleported me away. When I came here, Sombra and Chrysalis were walking and I landed on them. They were angry, so they chased me for a whole day until I found the meadow, collapsed and their majesties found me.
When Jewel was finished, she had tears raining down her face.
"Both pairs of my parents said that they would find me again and I hoped everyday that would come true." The ponies felt pity for Jewel.
"Jewel, Starla said last night you were singing a lullaby
"Both of my mothers sang that song to me whenever I was scared. *Sniffle...Sniffle* I'm gonna..... to leave now *Sniffle....Sob*." With that, Jewel burst out of the throne room and into her chamber. Entering the room, she saw the necklace with the crystals that had all the memories of her moms and dads. She walked up to it and tapped them. All the memories from her birth, her brithdays, Hearth's Warming Eve's, all leading up to the day she was forcibly separated from them.
Seeing the memories, Jewel felt even more heartbroken. Tears began streaming down her face, "Mommy *sob* Daddy *sniff* I miss you."
Back in the throne room the friendship ponies, Lightning, his friends and their royal majesties were still handling the depressing news Jewel had just told them.
"Poor darling. No wonder she’s devastated." Rarity commented. Pinkie's mane had turned dull and gray.
"Galloping Galaxies." Lightning said.
"Getting torn away from her family...twice! No wonder she's so distressed." Cadence added.
Lightning and Grand Ruler knew about losing their families, but they gained new families, while Jewel was still alone. "What can we do to cheer her up?" Starla asked, she hated seeing her best friend so sad, especially on a happy holiday. Everybody thought of the perfect gift they could give Jewel.
"*Gasp*, I know the perfect gift. Starla, you try to cheer up Jewel while we set up Jewel's gift." Cadence said. Starla ran off to Jewel's room, while the others made Jewel's gift.
Starla arrived Jewel's guest room and opened the door. She was greeted by a heart-breaking sight!
Jewel was lying in bed with two empty buckets of ice cream on the floor and she was eating her third one, while tears ran down her face.
"Oohh, Jewel." Starla sat beside Jewel and rubbed her back, "Shhhh, it's okay. Please cheer up." Starla begged.
Jewel looked at Starla and placed her head in Starla's shoulder. Starla continue to comfort Jewel until she stopped crying. Starla took the ice cream bucket away from her and began to talk softly.
"Jewel, I can't stand to see you so sad. Please come out, we have a present for you. I promise it'll make you feel better." Starla cooed. Jewel sniffled and thought. "Okay." Jewel said. Starla and Jewel went to the throne room, where everybody was waiting with big smiles on their faces.
"What's going on?" Jewel asked.
Their majesties approached Jewel. "Jewel, I know what it is to lose your family, but I found a new family with my wife, Lightning and all of my subjects. Now me and Celestia want to give you the same thing." Grand Ruler started. Queen Celestia stepped forward.
"Jewel, me and Celesto would like to adopt your as our second daughter." Celestia offered. Jewel's eyes widened, "What do you say?"
Jewel's eyes widened and tears began to form. "Ye-ee-es!" She cried colliding with their majesties in a hug.
Everybody cheered loudly for Jewel and new newly, second adoptive parents. Their majesties signed Jewel's adoption papers, making Jewel their official daughter. They introduced Jewel to their other children; Prince Castor and Princess Leliani. The babies giggled and cooed at having a new sibling.
Princess Cadence and Shining were happy about having Jewel as their cousin. Now Jewel has a family of her own and this time it would be here to stay. Jewel began to sing in joy about having a new family and letting go of her past emotions:

In our next episode... Jewel finds an injured changeling in the forest and it tells her that it never wanted to harm anypony. Jewel takes it to New Canterlot, hoping nopony notices, unfortunately they do.

Episode 15: A Changeling Discovery
Two days have come and gone without an incident. Jewel was out for a morning stroll and was walking in the forest near New Ponyville. Birds were chirping, and the sun was shining through the tree tops. Jewel was admiring the scenery when she her a moan.
"Ugh"
Jewel stopped and looked around. She pinpointed the sound coming from behind a tree. Carefully, she went to the tree and looked around the other side. She gasped at what she saw!
Lying up against the tree, beating, sore and weak was... a changeling!
The changeling looked at Jewel and hissed showing its fangs but stopped as a sting of pain shot through her body.
"Its okay," Jewel assured, " I'm not gonna hurt you. I just wanna help."
"I dont need any help," the changeling replied coldly. The changeling tried to stand up and walk away but it was in too much pain.
"Yes you do," Jewel stated, "you're too injured,"
Jewel kneeled down to the changeling and used her magic to make some bandages, foid and cream appear, then she began treating the changeling's wounds. The changeling was in awe that Jewel would help her. When Jewel was done the changeling said,
"Ummm...thanks,"
Then the changeling's stomach rumbles and gurgles loudly.
"Ugh, I'm soooo hungry. I think stomach is disgusting itself." it complained. Jewel feels bad and hands the changeling an apple. "Here you should eat this," Jewel recommend, "you need it."
"Sorry, but changelings don't physical eat. We feed off of emotions, like love." the changeling explained. "Oooh," Jewel realized, "so how will you feed?," Jewel asked worried.
"Well, if I can make a friend the love would sustain me but I don't think anybody would wanna be friends with a changeling." It's stomach growled again and she slumped forward. Jewel was taught about changelings from her friends, they said that they are evil and untrustworthy but this changeling was different.
"You already made a friend." Jewel added. "Really who?," the changeling asked, suprised. "Me." Jewel stated. The changeling for the first time since they met smiled. "My name is Crystal," the changeling introduced, "What's your name?"
"My name is Jewel."
Crystal and her newfound friend Jewel were having an interesting conversation. "So Crystal, how come you're out here all alone?" Jewel asked.
Crystal sighed and she explained,
"From the very first time I hatched in the nursey hive. I've always wanted a friend. But the other changelings said that friendship was a nuisance. I believed that one day, I would find a friend to share love with, but everybody that I tried to be friends with ran away or doesn't trust me because I'm a changeling.
I....was part of the invasion of United Equestria. But unlike the other changelings I couldn't just feed off the love that I saw from the ponies. I wanted to share it.
After the failed invasion, I knew I couldn't live with my kind anymore. When I was leaving, Queen Chysailis heard and sent all of her, still loyal , drones to attack me. I barely escaped with my life. Then, I set out looking for love to share. Until I crashed into this tree and met you."
Jewel was shedding some tears at Crystal's sad past.
"Maybe you can have some more friends," Jewel stated, "Why don't you come to New Canterlot with me?" Jewel offered. "Oooh, no, if any of those Starfleet ponies see me they will destroy me on the spot!" Crystal feared. Jewel began thinking of a way to sneak Crystal into New Canterlot.
"Well you can hide in my pack till we get to my room," Jewel added. Crystal thought about it and reluctantly agreed to it. Crystal managed to squeeze into Jewel's pack.
"How you doin in there Crystal?" Jewel asked.
"It's a little...tight." Crystal replied. With that, Jewel teleported to her bedroom in New Canterlot unnoticed. Crystal crawled out of her pack. "Nice room," she complimented.
"Thanks." Jewel praised. Then, Jewel's stomach growled loudly,
"Hehe, sounds like I'm famished. You should hide in here till I come back. Change into a lamp, that way no one will suspect anything." Jewel explained. Crystal changed into a pink lamp. Then Jewel placed her near her bedside.
Jewel left the room to go to the dining room. Jewel arrived on the dining area where all here friends are.
"Hey everybody," Jewel greeted.
"Hi Jewel," Everybody greeted.
"Aynthing exciting happen today?," Lighting asked.
Jewel was starting to nervously sweat, "N-Nope nothing exciting. Hehehe," she replied. Jewel sat down at the table and ate her breakfast a little fast. Then she got up, "Well that was delicious.... well see y'all,"
With that, Jewel dashed out of the door, leaving the others a little confused. Jewel rarely showed signs of nervousness. However, she was sweating alot and studdered as she talked.
"What's up with her?" Lightning asked.
"No idea." Starla replied.
Jewel went back to her room. Before she entered, she looked down side to side to see if any of her friends followed her.
Luckily, they didn't. Jewel entered the room. Going to the closet, Jewel opens the door."How are you doing Crystal?" Jewel asked.
"Great," Crystal replied, "thanks for the hospitality Jewel. Nopony's every shown me kindness before."
"Aww Crystal, its no problem at all. I just hope nopony finds out, we’d be in big trouble.” Jewel stated.
Unknown by the two girls, Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia were peeking into the room. Lightning tools than about Jewel's distressing behavior and followed her to find out the reason. They did not like what they saw one bit!
Soon, they held a meeting with Lighting, his friends, Princess Cadnece and Shining Armor, Twilight's sister-in-law and brother. They told everybody what they saw and gasped!
"A changeling", "What is Jewel thinking?" "That thing must have brainwashed her!" Lighting, Starla and Artie stated in anger. Grand Ruler raised his hand and everybody calmed down, "We understand that a changeling is a serious threat, but we have to know for sure!"
For the next week, everybody secretly kept watch over Jewel and Crystal. Crystal didn't show any intention to hurt Jewel. Every kind act Jewel did towards Crystal, she repayed Jewel's kindness. But, they couldn't take any chances with their teammate's safety.
Finally, one night Jewel and Crystal were walking to the throne room, "Thanks for everything you've done for me Jewel," Crystal thanked.
"Your welcome" Jewel praised. Entering the throne room, they noticed the lights were off,
"Jewel, why are all the lights off?" Crystal asked nervously. Suddenly the light came on. Jewel and Crystal found themselves surrounded by Lighting and the gang a well as Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia. They had their weapons drawn, ready to attack! Crystal screamed in fear and hid behind Jewel.
"*Gulp* H-Hey guys, uhh, Wh-what's going on? Hehehe" Jewel asked nervously.
"Don't play dumb with us, Major!" Lightning scolded in a stern voice. Jewel knew that when someone called you by your rank, they're are deathly serious. Jewel gulped nervously.
"We know that you'd been hiding your changeling friend ," Celestia added.
"What in the hotel bills are you thinkin Jewel!" Applejack thundered.
"That nasty insect must have brainwashed you." Rarity accused.
"How could you let the enemy in here Jewel?" Grand Ruler demanded, furious.
"Crystal is a good changeling. She doesn't want to be one of Chrysalis's drones anymore. She wants to have friends," Jewel reasoned desperately.
The gang didnt buy it.
"Yea right! She's proberly a spy
"S-She's telling the truth, I'm a nice changeling," she added.
"Oh yea?" Celsetia challenged, "Prove to us that you don't want to be with Chrysalis anymore."
Jewel and Crystal looked at each other and nodded. The girls began to sing a song with Crystal as the lead singer about how she doesn't like Chrysalis.

The song diminished the gang's suspicions a little, "Okay, so you're not with Chrysalis, but how do we know you've really changed?," Artie asked. Jewel then stepped forward and sang a song to prove that Crystal is reformed.

Everybody realized that they were wrong to judge Crystal just because she's a changeling, and that their history with changelings was not pretty. They all learned a lesson.
Sometimes you have to get to know a person, pony or changeling to fully know their intentions whether good or bad.
"We're sorry Crystal that we didn't get to know you first. Mayne we can start that now?" Grand Ruler offered. Crystal was overjoyed.
"That be so great. I wanna learn all about friendship then maybe I can take that knowledge back to the changeling kingdom," Crystal exclaimed, "if my kind learn how to make love for one another, maybe we won't have to take it from others."
"I think that will work just fine," Queen Celestia agreed.
Everybody then started to sing a song about how they were all the same now.

Episode 16: New Invention to the Test
One day Jewel was walking around in Professor Brain's lab when she came across a big pile of metal items like a metal detector, claw and other things like a lasso. She also found an old vehicle shaped like a torpedo. It has a small cockpit for the pilot, two fins on the side and a fin on the back. It's tail looked like shark's.
"Professor, what are these?" Jewel asked.
"Oh. Those are just scrape metals that I was gonna throw out but never got the chance." He explained.
"Can I have them?" Jewel asked.
Professor Brain looked confused but he let Jewel take the scrape metal anyway.
Jewel went into her room with all the scrap metal and set it down on her bed. She then went to her bedside and looked underneath it.
"Aha!"
Jewel then pulled out what looked like a briefcase and opened it. Inside was all kinds of tools; hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches even a blowtorch. That was a secret birthday present from her biological parents when she was seven years old. Jewel placed all of the scrape metal together and began building.
A couple days have passed, Lighting and his friends were in New Canterlot to discuss Jewel's animal abilities. Their majesties were shown footage from previous battles, when Jewel changed into a wolf, buffalo and dragon.
"That's enough. It has become clear the Jewel possess powerful and mysterious magic." Grand Ruler stated.
"Yea. It's not like any magic that I've read about." Lighting replied.
"It is also clear that Sombra and Chrysalis may want to capture Jewel for her magic." Queen Celestia added.
"We'll need to keep and eye on Jewel and help her master her abilities." Princess Luna said.
"Where is Jewel anyway?" Starla asked.
"Last time we heard she was working on something for the pass week." Grand Ruler replied. Suddenly, the doors to the throne room opened and Jewel walked in, looking a little dirty; her mane and tail were a little tangled and had patches of oil as well.
"Hey guys!" she greeted.
"Woah Jewel! How did you get like... that ?" Buddy asked.
"I told you guys before, I'm building something." Jewel replied.
"What is it Jewel?" Fluttershy asked.
"I can't tell. It's a secret."
"Well..... Jewel you should go get cleaned up." Grand Ruler suggested. Jewel looked at him confused, "Why?"
"Well....you're a little...dirty." Rarity stated. Jewel looked at herself,
"Oooh, you're right. I guess I better clean up." Jewel said. She went off to the bathroom to clean up. As soon a she left the alarms went off and Captain Shania burst into the throne room in a panic.
"Your majesties! Your majesties!"
"What is it captain?" Celestia asked.
"The New Ponyville dam broke and the waters heading right towards New Ponyville!"
Everybody gasped. If the water reaches New Ponyville, the whole town will be destroyed! "Come on, let's go!" Lighting called.
"STARFLEET MAGIC! "
“HARMONY HOUR, FRIENDSHIP POWER!!”
The gang flew out of palace and approached the dam. There was a huge crack in it and water was gushing out! The gang landed about seven yards from the raging water.
"We've got to stop the water!" Lightning cried. He and his friends unleashed their attacks.

“PAINT BOMB”

“BOOM-BOOM ROCKETS”
All of the attacks hit the water..... but they had no effect at all. "Try again. More power!" Lighting ordered. Lighting transformed into a enticorn and his friends powered up their finishing attacks and fired again.
“UNIFORCE”

“WHIPLASH STRIKE”
“SUPER STAFF SPIN”
“THRASH SLASH”
“BOOM-BOOM FLARE
The attacks combined with the water but it had no effect again. "Not good! We need a bigger fierce to stop this." Starla stated.
Such force has arrived.
"Look!" The gang saw Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia arriving on the scene with the rainbow rod in hand.
"We are here to help." Celestia stated.
The two royal alicorns combined the rainbow rod and transformed into Grand Celestial Ruler. The Ruler flew in front of the ponies and fired "MYSTIC LIGHT" at the water but like the last two times, it had n effect. The ponies were shocked.
"What now?" Dyno cried.
"Look out!" Myte cried. Before the ponies knew it, the water swallowed them up and carried them along.
Back at the palace, Princess Luna was desperately worried, especially after what what happened. Jewel came in, nice and clean when she saw Luna staring out the window, looking deeply concerned.
"What's wrong?"
"The New Ponyville dam broke and the water is heading straight towards New Ponyville. Lighting and the others, including my sister and her husband tried to stop it but it seems that the water is immune to their magic. Now they're trapped in the raging current."
"Oh no!"
"Now there's no way anypony can stop the water and save them. The current is too fast, strong and rough. There's has to be something that can do both."
"There may be one thing."
Jewel bolted out of the throne room and went to her room she stopped in the doorway.
"It is time." She said.
Lighting and his friends were struggling to stay float, clinging to The Ruler with all their strength.
"Hold on everypony!" The Ruler cried.
"Galloping Galaxies! What are we gonna do?!" Lightning cried. Just then, the gang saw an torpedo-like vehicle heading their way.
"What in United Equestria is that?" Rarity asked. The ponies looked closer and saw a familiar pink alicorn driving the vehicle. "JEWEL?!"
Jewel circled her vehicle above the gang, deactivated the sturdy glass dome around her and called out,
"Don't worry guys, I'll get you out of there!" She called.
"Hurry! We can't hold on much longer!" Starla cried. Jewel stood up. The ponies saw a pack on Jewel's back and one side opened up
"Lasso out !"
A lasso came out and Jewel grabbed it. Twirling it around, high in the air, she tossed it towards her friends. The lasso looped around the ponies and Jewel pulled on the lasso, tightening it. Attachin the other end of the lasso to her vehicle, Jewel sat back down in the cockpit and activated the dome. Jewel floored the gas and sped off, the ponies were yanked out of the raging waters and into the sky.
"WOAH!!"
Jewel flew all the way to New Canterlot and set the gang down in the royal palace garden. Jewel flew back towards the raging water which was almost at New Ponyville. Jewel put her vehicle on auto-pilot and ejected from her seat.
"Alright, here goes nothing " she thought.
Suddenly, her body began to flew light blue and transform; her arms turned into finds and her legs came together and formed a tail. A dorsal fin appeared on her back. Jewel had turned into a dolphin-like animal!
The others saw her transformation from the palace.
"Incerdible!" Grand Ruler said.
"Cool!" Lightning added.
Jewel dived into the water and began circling around and around, building up speed with each circle. Soon the water turned into a giant water tornado!
Jewel managed to move the tornado from inside to the broken dam,
"WAVE ATTACK!"
Jewel flapped her tail up and down, repeatedly, making waves of water come out, hitting the sides of the cracked dam. Incredibly, the waves actually fixed the dam!
Jewel did this six more times and the dam was completely fixed. Jewel stopped circling and let the water fall on the other side of the dam. Jewel glided back to New Canterlot where her friends and vehicle were waiting. Jewel transformed back into herself and on her crown, a dolphin symobol was next to the cat symbol.
"That. . . was. . . AWESOME!" Rainbow dash exclaimed.
"You've got some impressive lasso skills." Applejack added.
The Ruler defused back into Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia.
"Very good work Jewel. You saved New Ponyville from what could have been a major disaster." Grand Ruler stated.
Jewel blushed in embarrassment.
"Hehe. It was nothing."
"That's not true Jewel, you saved the town and us." Lightning replied.
"Awww, guys you're embrassing me." Jewel replied.
The ponies laughed.
Later that afternoon, an investigation of what happened brought up surprising results.
"Swift broke the dam?!" Jewel cried.
"Indeed. The video shows him smashing the dam until it broke." Celestia answered.
"But why would he do that?" Starla asked.
"That is unknown." Grand Ruler said.
"For now, we must continue to be vigilante, how knows what Sombra and Chysalis will throw our way next." Celestia warned.
In their spaceship, Sombra and Queen Chrysalis were watching Jewel through their dark orb.
"Soon, that little unicorn will be ours." Sombra said.

Episode 17: An Stingar Friendship
Two months had passed and Jewel has become an incredibly powerful fighter. Their majesties and Lightining were all very proud of her. But this day will bring something nobody expected.
Lightning and his friends were in New Canterlot at the royal palace to see their majesties about a dire situation. Lately, there have been reports of a Incesto roaming around near New Ponyville.
"Those ghastly creatues again!" Rarity cried.
"I thought that you two destoryed the whole armada." Lightning added.
"We did but it seems that one was missed. We need you to find the Stingar and arrest it on sight !" Grand Ruler ordered. The team saluted and headed towards New Ponyville to find the Stingar. What they didn't notice was Jewel, who had been listening in on the whole time.
Lightning explained to Jewel what an Incesto was,
The Insectos: They are a ruthless race of humanoid insect-hybrids, ruled by King Pinsar, and his wife Queen Ladybird. The Insectos are weapon crazed, power hungry war-mongers, they make it their purpose in life to conquer and destroy other planets and wipe out other races, as a demonstration of their strength and power. They live for destruction and show no mercy when it comes to the enemy.”
They also explained how the Incesto's brainwashed Shining Armor into Saber, their most powerful Incesto general and killed Cadence and Shining Armor's first baby, Amando." Jewel was horrified.
"We must all find the Incesto and destory it on the spot!" Grand Ruler ordered.
Lightning and his friends saluted and went off to patrol for the Incesto.
Jewel thought about what her friends told her "The Incesto can't be all bad. Crystal wasn't. Maybe if I find the Incesto, maybe I can befriend it and even help it. "
Jewel smiled to herself and dashed off after the others.
Jewel soon was in a forest near New Ponyville searching for the Incesto. While she was walking she heard some rustling near her. Looking at the brush she was what looked to armor sticking out of it. She approached the bush and pulled ot apart.
"AHHHHH!"
Inside the bush was the Incesto! However, this one looked a little different from what Lightning said; it had green ladybug like wings and light armor, not to mention, this one was scared of her! It was cowering in front of her with its hands covering its eyes.
"It's okay, I wont hurt you." Jewel soothed.
"Y-Yeah right. Your probably gonna throw me in the dungeon for a millennia." The Incesto replied, not believing her.
"It's true. I actually..... want to be friends with you."
The Incesto stopped shaking and uncovered it's eyes, looking at Jewel with caution.
"You do?"
Jewel nodded.
"I've never had friends before. King Pinsar said that friendship was a stupid and that nopony would ever dare to become friends with a Incesto. Not after our reputation for killing entire inhabitants, taking over planets and blowing them up when we get bored with them and leave in search of a new home."
"Well he was wrong. I want to become friends with you. If you give me a chance."
Jewel held out her hand to the Incesto. It looked at Jewel, who wore a caring smile on ber face. She smiled too and accepted her hand in friendship.
"By the way, my name is Sarah. What's your name?"
"Jewel."
Suddenly, Jewel heard a loud gurgling sound coming from Sarah's stomach. Sarah hugged her stomach, showing a miserable look on her face.
"Ugh, I'm soooo hungry. I haven't eaten anything in days."
Jewel felt pity for her. Looking around, Jewel saw six apples hanging from a tree. Using her magic, she grabbed the fruit and lowered it in front of Sarah.
"Here you go, eat up."
Sarah looked at the food with her mouth watering. She immediately grabbed the fruit and took starving bites out of them. When she was done, she gave satisfied sigh and her stomach gave a satisfied gurgle.
"Thanks for the food."
"Your welcome."
Then Jewel heard something and looked outside the bush. She gasped in horror.... her friends were approaching, "*Gasp* Oh no, quick Sarsh hide! If my friends find out, they'll destory you!"
Sarah did what she was told and hid back in the bush and Jewel pulled the bush together, hiding her completely. Lightning appeared and approached Jewel.
"Find anything?" he asked.
"Nope, Nada." Jewel replied.
"Too bad. Keep searching Jewel. I'll be at the forest near New Canterlot." With that, Lightning flew up and went to New Canterlot. When the coast was clear, Sarah came back out. "Phew! That was a close one."
"Yeah you should probably hide, for now. I'll be back tommorow, okay?"
Sarah nodded and watched as Jewel flew back to New Ponyville. That night, Sarah was thinking about what happened.
"I made a friend! I thought that I could never have a friend, but now I do. And it feels...... good. I hope we'll see each other again ." Sarah layed down and fell asleep.
Over the next week, Jewel kept coming back to see Sarah, forming a friendship in the process. Sarah was happy that she finally had a pony who she could console and talk to.
"I'm really glad I met you Jewel." Sarah praised.
"Aww, your welcome Sarah." Jewel replied.
Suddenly, Jewel heard rapid footsteps coming their way. "Quick! Hide!" Sarah ducks into the bushes and Jewel comes out to see Captin Shania, running towards her with panic on her face. "Major Jewel, Major Jewel! Something terrible has happened!" she cried.
"What happened?" Jewel asked.
"Commander Lightning, his team, the friendship ponies and their majesties have been.....kidnapped!"
Jewel gasped in horror and Sarah, who was listening in, was shocked.
In the desert region of Somnambula, Lightning and the others were in big trouble!
Carla and Swift pulled a surprise attack on them, using anti-magic rings to render their magic useless. Now, they were tied to a pillar in the middles of a cavern fill with green, bubbling slime!
"You two won't get away with this!" Lightning declared.
"Oh please, no body will even begun to know where to start looking for you! Besides, by the time they get here, you'll be long gone! HAHA HAHA!" Carla replied.
The gang struggled to get out of the bondage but it was no use.
"See you never~" Swift sang as he and Carla left the ponies.
"What do we do now?" Pinkie asked, worried.
"Let's just hope that someone finds us soon." Grand Ruler hoped. Back at the forest, Jewel was asking Shania about any information, frantically.
"Do you know where they are or where they were taken to?" Jewel asked, frantically.
"All we know is that they were heading towards New Somnambula." Shania replied.
"Well then, Let's go!" Jewel declared.
Soon the pair was in New Somnambula in the desert. "Which way did they go?" Jewel asked. Shania looked around in the sand and found some paw prints, "Major Jewel, over here!" Shania called.
Jewel came and examined them, "Yep, those are cheetah pawprints, they go into that pyramid. Let's go!" Jewel said.
The pair entered the pyramid and walked down a long tunnel. They soon entered a room and saw something shocking, their friends and their majesties were all tied to a pillar in the middle of a cavern full of green slime.
"Guys! You're majesties!" Jewel cried. The gang looked up and saw Jewel and Captain Shania. "Jewel! Captain!" Lightning cried happily.
"Get us out of here!" Pinkie cried.
Suddenly, the pillar shook and began top sink into the green slime!
"Don't worry guys, we'll save you!" Jewel called.
"We'll have to fly over there." Shania concluded.
"Not so fast!" A voice came, Jewel and Shania turned around and saw Carla and Swift.
"You're not getting anywhere near them." Swift said.
Carla and Swift charged the duo and the fight was on!
Swift repeatedly tried to claw Shania, but being the caption of the royal guard, Shania swiftly dodged every attempt and stuck back. Meanwhile, Jewel was in an air combat with Carla. Carla slashed Jewel with her talons and Jewel kept punching her. While they were battling, the gang was sinking deeper,
"Jewel! Hurry!" Rainbow cried.
Jewel pushed Carla away and dove towards her friends but she was blocked by her.
"Your gonna be too late to save them." Carla taunted.
"No she won't!" another voice came.
Everybody looked and saw an Incesto at the enterence to the tunnel.
"Sarah!" Jewel cried, happily.
"Sarah!?" The ponies repeated, shocked.
Sarah flew up to Eagle Eye and rammed inyo her, knocking her away fron Jewel. "Go save your friends, I'll take care of her." Sarah ordered.
Jewel nodded and dashed to her friends' aid. The gang was almost submerged in the slime.
"Hang on guys!"
Jewel used get magic to unite the rope and lift her friends out of the slime and onto the other side of the cavern.
Shania and Sarah fought vigourously against throw entrees and defeated them. Knowing they were beat, Carla and Swift retreated.
"You're haven't seen the last of us! We'll be back!" they cried.
"Alright! We did it!" Jewel cried, happily. Sarah landed near Jewel and they both shared a hug....which was interrupted when they heard Grand Ruler's cough. The two looked at the gang and saw they did not looked happy.
"Ummm.....hehehe......Guys this is Sarah my Incesto friend....hehehe." Jewel introduced nervously.
The ponies experssion turned grimly, promoting Jewel and Sarah to gulped nervously.
Everybody returned to New Canterlot and were in the throne room. Jewel got a major lecture about keeping Sarah a secret from their majesties, which went against their orders directly.
"Jewel, you know it was wrong to hide your Incesto friend," Grand Ruler started. Jewel and Sarah had their heads down with frowns on their faces, "but, seeing how she is no threat to us, we've decided that she will stay in United Equestria." Celestia finished.
Jewel and Sarah both gasped, squealed and hugged each other. Now they'll never be apart!

Episode 18: Jewel's Special Pet
It was Friday afternoon and Jewel was hanging out with Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack and Pinkie Pie with their pets, Angel Bunny, Tank, the tortoise, Opal, the cat. Also, Wiona, a shepard dog and Gummy, a toothless alligator. Fluttershy was petting Angel while Rainbow Dash was gazing at the sky with Tank. Applejack wss playing fetch, Opal was sitting in a tree, having a nap and Gummy just stayed with Pinkie.
Jewel was just watching her friends play with their pets, until Rainbow came over and asked,
"Hey Jewel, where's your pet?"
"Oh..... I don't have a pet." replied Jewel. The others heard Jewel and came over, confused.
"Why not?" Fluttershy asked.
"Well, back on Harmony there was no animals on the planet. No dogs or cats, so I never got to experience what it's like to have a pet." Jewel explained.
"Oh, that's too bad Jewel." Rainbow added.
"It's okay. It sure would be nice to have one." Jewel got up and walked off, leaving Rainbow and Fluttershy with concerned faces.
That afternoon, the mane 5 called Lightning and his friends together and told them what happened.
"Poor chica." Dyno said.
"Too bad we can't choose a pet for her." Myte added.
"Maybe we can." Rainbow said.
"We can't Rainbow," Fluttershy objected, "Jewel needs to find a pet that fits her the best. If we chose it for her, it won't be a real companion for her."
Three others realized Fluttershy was right. The animal they choose for Jewel could hate her or even attack her! They decided Jewel should choose he own pet, by herself.
The next morning, Jewel was walking in the forest listening to the sounds of nature as they serinated the sky.
"I hope I'll find a perfect pet for me, just like my friends. "
Suddenly she heard some rustling in a bush next to her.
"Hmm, what's that ?" She thought. She got her answer when a creature popped out of the bush. It was a canine with light brown fur with a darker brown muzzle, paws, and ear tips. It has large blue eyes, button ears, a short muzzle with a triangular pink nose, and a short tuft of fur on each cheek. Around its neck is a ruff of grayish-white fur stubbed with dark brown pebbles. The dark brown markings on its paws extend to a thin point on each wrist and ankle. It had a grayish-white tail that curls tightly over its back and is covered in fluffy fur.
Jewel stared at it while the creature stared back at her. "Hmmm. What are you little fella?" Jewel asked the creature.
The creature slowly walked up to Jewel and looked into get eyes. Suddenly, it barked and leaped into Jewel's chest, knocking her over and licking her face.
"Hahaha, that tickles!" Jewel laughed. The pup stopped licking Jewel and sstared inti her eyes once again. Jewel felt her heart beating fast, feeling that this was the right pet for her.
"Hey, little one, do you want to be my pet?" Jewel asked.
The pup excitedly barked.
"I'll take that as a 'yes.'" Jewel figured. The pup barked and leaped off of Jewel's chest and ran around her. Jewel sat up and petted the pup.
"You're really cute. I've got to show you to the others." Jewel said.
Jewel sat up and watched as her new companion dashed around her in a joyful fashion. The creature barked and jumped into Jewel's face, nuzzling her and Jewel laughed.
Meanwhile, at the royal palace, their majesties and Lightning, along with his friends and the friendship ponies were in the dojo for some training.
Their majesties were in a training simulator while Lightning and the others either team on treadmills, lifted weights or target practice.
The door to the dojo opened and Jewel came in,
"Hey Jewel, what are you do-?" Lightning began to ask but was cut off by the light brown furball in Jewel's arms.
"Jewel, why do you have a puppy in your arms?" Starla asked.
As soon as the word 'puppy' extied Starla's mouth, Futtershy immediately scopped the puppy up in her arms.
"Oh aren't you the cutest thing." she cooed.
The pup barked and licked Fluttershy's face. Theie majesties heard the commotion and deactivated the simulator.
"What's going on?" Grand Ruler asked.
"Look at what Jewel found!" Rainbow exclaimed. Their majesties looked, saw the pup and gasped.
"How did you find a Rockruff?" Celestia asked.
"A Rock what?" Pinkie asked.
"Rockruff- a rock type pokemon that is very loyal to it's companion. It also has a powerful sense of smell." Luna explained.
"What do you mean by 'rock-type?'" Spike asked.
"It means that it can use rock-type moves; like Rock Throw and Stone Edge." Celestia added. Rockruff barked and leaped out of Jewel's arms. It went up to their majesties and gently pawed at Celestia's gown.
"I think it likes you, your majesties." Lightning said. Rockruff went over to Grand Ruler and leaped into his chest, nuzzling him with a big smile on it's face. Grand Ruler laughed.
"I believe you are correct. Rockruff does seem to like you sister and brother-in-law." Luna added.
"Rockruff, come here." Jewel cooed. Rockruff heard Jewel and leaped out of Grand Ruler's chest and came to Jewel's side, smiling.
"Can I keep her please?" Jewel asked.
"How you know it's a girl?" Buddy asked.
"I just know." Jewel replied, "anyway, can I please keep her. Please, please, please?!" Jewel begged.
Their majesties, seeing that there was no way they could say no to her, said yes. Jewel was ecstatic as was Rockruff. Lightning and the others smiled, knowing that Jewel now had a animal friend just like the mane 5.
Over the next three days, Jewel played with, cared for and cleaned up after Rockruff, like a true pet owner. Rockruff followed Jewel everywhere, except the bathroom and slept on her bed at night. Jewel and Rockruff's bond grew each day.
Lightning and his friends were in the Cake's cafe discussing Rockruff and Jewel.
"I've never seen anything like it!" Starla said.
"It was like they were made for each other." Buddy added.
"Rockruff brings Jewel much cheer,
Soon, the ponies heard laughing and barking outside, they turned and saw Rockruff and Jewel playing fetch. Rockruff brought the ball to Jewel.
"Good girl, Rockruff, Good girl." Jewel cooed.
Rockruff barked and leaped into Jewel's chest, knocking her over and she began licking Jewel's face.
"Hahahaha! That tickles! Hahaha!" Jewel laughed.
The ponies were all smiling at the scene. Suddenly, ponies outside began screaming and running away in trerror. Lightning and the gang looked and saw a black tiger with glowing, red eyes. It was blasting fire from it's mouth and tail.
"Come on!" cried Lightning.
He and his friends ran out of the cafe to confront the creature. The tiger spotted the ponies and sneered at them,
"How dare you attack with a clear warning! Prepare to feel the wrath of Starfleet!" Lightning declared.
"No! You prepare to feel the wrath of me, Stripes!" the tiger objected.
"Let's do this guys!" Lightning called. Lightning and his friends transformed.
"STARFLEET MAGIC!!! "
The two sides glared fiercely at each other until Lightning made the call, "Attack!"
The ponies charged Stripes and attack him with their powers.
"GALATIC PROJECTILE "
"BOOM-BOOM ROCKETS "
The attacks hit Stripes but when the dust cleared, the ponies gawked in horror, there want a single scratch on him!
"No damage!?' Lightning cried.
"Your puny ponies can't do a tying to me, but I can do this." Stripes raised his tail and attacked,
"FLARE TAIL!!!"
A barrage of flame arrows shot out of his tail and hit the ponies leaving their suits at half power and seriously damaging them.
"'Ay Curumba! This thing is strong!" Dyno excalimed.
"One hit and I feel woozy already." Myte added.
"And these is more where that came from!" Stripes added and pounded towards the ponies.
Jewel and Rockruff were watching the whole scene unfold. Jewel knew she had to jump into battle.
"Rockruff, stay here okay girl?" Jewel asked.
Rockruff nodded.
"Good girl."
Jewel dashed to the field and yelled at Stripes,
"Hey Furball!"
Stripes looked at Jewel and snickered.
"Ahh, another foolish pony to add to the collection." he sneered.
"Nobody hurts my friends and gets away with it! STARFLEET MAGIC!!!"
Jewel transformed and was ready for battle. Stripes snarled at her and pounced. Jewel jumped up and over him and punched him in the back, sending him to the ground.
Stripes recovered and fired, "FLARE TAIL!!" the arrows were heading towards Jewel but she countered with, "MAGICAL ARROW!!"
The two attacks collided causing a big dust cloud. Stripes jumped through the dust cloud and slashed Jewel in the chest. Jewel fell to the ground with a loud thud. Stripes continued the attack but repeatedly ramming Jewel with his forehead.
The ponies and Rockruff watched in horror.
Stripes rammed Jewel once more, sending her flying and landing on her side. Jewel tried to get up, but she's too weak and there's little power left in her suit. Stripes stood over Jewel with a mending grin.
"Now time to finish you." Stripes raised his left last and extended his razor, sharp claws.
"NO!" Lightning shouted and he dashed towards Jewel.
"He's not gonna make it!" Rainbow cried.
"Oooh, I can't watch!" Rarity said as she covered her eyes.
Suddenly, a light brown blur came in and bit Stripes on the paw. He reeled in pain and backed away.
"WHO DARES BITE ME!" he thundered.
Jewel was confused until she saw a sight that stopped her heart. Rockruff was standing in between her and Stripes, teeth bared and growling.
"Rockruff! What are you doing here? I told you to hide!" Jewel exclaimed, extremely worried for her pets' safety.
However, Rockruff stayed where she was, growling and snarling at the big cat.
"You've just made a BIG mistake, little pup." Stripes threatened. He pounced at Rockruff but she jumped our of the way. Sparkles formed arlund her tail and turned intk rocks. Rockruff launched them at Stripes, sending him to the ground, making a crater.
"Incerdible!" Lightning cried.
Rockruff landed safety on the ground whole Stripes recovered and attenpted the same attack. Rockruff dashed towards him and leaped. Sharp fangs formed in front of his mouth and he bit down on the back of Stripes' neck, causing severe pain.
Stripes roared in agony. Rockruff realeased her grip and jumped back. Knowing he's been beaten, Stripes made a hasty retreat but not before declaring,
"YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS STARFLEET!!!"
Then, he vanished.
Jewel walked over to Rockruff and Rockruff whimpered at her.
"I'm okay Rockruff, and that was amazing!" Jewel cried.
Rockruff barked and jumped into Jewel's chest again, nuzzling her. Jewel laughed, but was interrupted,
"Ahem!"
Jewel and Rockruff turned and saw Lightning and his friends, looking at them with a mixture of shock, amazed and confused expressions.
"Jewel....what just happened?!" Lightning asked.
The team returned to New Canterlot and had their injuries treated. Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia were shown the images of the battle via Rarity and Lightning's friends magic. Their majesties were amazed and shocked by the actions Rockruff performed.
"In all my travel across the cosmos, I've never seen anything like this!" Grand Ruler declared.
"But what does this mean?" Fluttershy asked.
"I think I can answer that."
Everybidy looked and saw Mykan at the doorway. "You know what this is Mykan?" Celesto asked.
"Yep. Rockruff used Rock Throw and Bite, which are moves that a rock-type pokemon can learn."
"A rock-type what?" Rainviw asked.
"A rock-type pokemon. Pokemon is short for Pocket-Monsters. They are creatures that come in different shapes, sizes, colors and rarity. Rockruff is a rock-type meaning it can use rock-tyoe moves; like Stone Edge, Rock Slide and Rock Tomb." Mykan explained.
The ponies were fascinated, "Also, Rockruff also has some weaknesses. He's only weak to water, grass, fighting, ground and steel-type moves."
"So we have to keep him away from those who have either one of those elemental attacks." Celestia predicted. Mykan nodded.
"And Rockruff can also evolve."
"What evolve?" Lightning asked.
"Evolution is when a pokemon reaches a level and changes shaped. Rockruff can change into Lycanroc based what time if day it is."
"What's a Lycanroc?" Starla asked. Mykan whipped out his phone and showed the group Lycanroc, Rockruff's evolution.
"This is it's Midday form."
"And this is it's Midnight form"
"Woah, creepy." Dyno said.
"Si." Myte added.
"So how will Jewel know when Rockruff is ready to evolve?" Luna asked.
"Rockruff will act aggressive and more independent when it's ready to evolve." Mykan explained.
"Thanks for the info, Mykan." Lightning thanked.
"No prob." Mykan replied. Rockruff barked and dashed up to Mykan, running around him with a smile on his face.
"I think he likes you." Celestia chuckled.
"I think so too." her husband agreed.
Mykan smiled and picked up Rockruff, who nuzzled him. Jewel smiled at her two friends, getting to know each other.
In the next episode...
Jewel becomes more attached to Rockruff and her friends begin to feel snubbed. This becomes a problem when their behavior causes problems for the kingdom.
Can Jewel fix this? Or will her friends feel excluded continue?"

Episode 19: Getting Touchy
Rockruff, the little rock-type pokemon pup Jewel adopted. They were the best of friends and spent every single day together; going to the park to play fetch, going to the lake for a swim or just going for a walk around New Ponyville. All the ponies loved having Rockruff around.... well not everypony.
Lightning and the others were at the Cake's Café with Jewel and Rockruff.
"So Jewel, do you wanna hang out after we're off duty?" Lightning asked. Jewel wasn't paying attention to him, however, she was too busy playing with Rockruff, by making him jump up and down, trying to grab some food she hd in her hand.
"You want it boy? You want it?" Jewel cooed.
Jewel snapped back to reality when Lightning coughed.
"Oh. Sorry Lightning what did you say?" Jewel asked.
"I asked if you wanted to hang out after we're off duty." Lightning repeated.
"Yeah, Yeah, I'll be there." Jewel responded.
Five hours passed and the ponies were off duty, they all headed to the park waiting for Jewel to show up.
"Where is she?" Starla asked.
"She should have been here an hour ago!" Buddy added.
Hearing barking in the distance, the ponies saw Jewel and Rockruff playing fetch with each other. Feeling a little hurt, the ponies went to confront her.
"Ahem! Jewel." Artie called. Jewel looked and saw her friends, and she and Rockruff went over to greet them.
"Hey guys!" she greeted, cheerfully, until she saw the upset experssions on get friends faces, "What's the matter with you guys?"
"You were suppose to hang out with us, remember?" Buddy asked.
"Oh. I'm so sorry guys! I completely forgot! Rockruff needed his exercise so I decided to take him out. I promise it won't happen again." Jewel said.
However, over the next couple of days, it happened again.... and again..... and again. Everytime the ponies try to spend time with Jewel, Rockruff got in the way and directed Jewel attention and focus.
The Starfleet ponies are at Lightning's house to discuss the matter.
"Alright everypony, we are here to discuss a matter of importance. Every since Rockruff came into Jewel's life, she's been spending more time with him then with us." Lightning stated. Everybody agreed.
"It's like were not even there
"Right, so we have to find a way to get Jewel all to ourselves without that pesky Rockruff." Starla said.
"Si, but what?" Dyno asked.
"Those two are inseparable!" Myte added.
Lightning thought for a moment and came up with a plan. "I think I know what do to." he stated, smiling with an evil grin. That night, in the royal palace in New Canterlot, Jewel was sleeping in her bed with Rockruff at her side.
"You're my bestest friend Rockruff, I love you very much" Jewel declared.
Rockruff softly nuzzled Jewel, yawned and fell asleep along with Jewel. While they were asleep, the windownext to get bed opened up and a black figure came in. The figure grabbed Rockruff and dashed out of the window with her.
The next morning, "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!"
Queen Celestia and Grand Ruler burst into the room, "What happened?" Celestia asked.
"Rockruff she's....she's GONE!!!" Jewel cried hysterically. Their majesties gasped softly and Celestia went to comfort Jewel. "Don't worry Jewel, we'll find her." she promised. Jewel sniffled and nodded. "Rockruff please be okay ." Jewel thought desperately. Just then,
"Arf! Arf!"
The three ponies heard barking in the doorway, Jewel looked and gasped with relief. Rockruff was sitting in the doorway wagging her tail. "ROCKRUFF!" Jewel cried, she dashed towards her beloved pup and Rockruff did the same. They embraced each other, deeply.
"Oh, Rockruff, I'm so glad you're alright. I was so worried." Jewel sobbed. Rockruff nuzzled Jewel and licked her face, lovingly.
Their majesties were relieved that Rockruff and Jewel were reunited. But one question still remained. Who would have pupnapped Rockruff?
The next afternoon, Lightning and the ponies were in the park again, waiting for Jewel.
"This time we'll get Jewel all by herself." Lighting declared. However, the sound of barking diminished the ponies hopes. They looked and saw Jewel and Rockruff playing chase.
"Unbelievable!" The ponies cried.
Jewel came over with Rockruff in her arms, "Hey guys! Wanna play with me and Rockruff?" Jewel asked. The ponies looked more upset than ever!
"No thanks Jewel, we'll just go home and spend time with our friends ." Lightning answered, gruffly. The ponies walked away, with their heads held high and expressions angry.
Jewel and Rockruff looked at them in confusion. "What's up with them?" Rockruff barked as it saying 'I dont know'.
Jewel and Rockruff walked through New Ponyville and saw the mane 6 and Mykan walking towards them. "Hey Jewel!" Rainbow greeted.
"Hey guys. Um...do any of you know what's wrong with Lightning and the others? They've been acting distant around me lately." Jewel asked.
"Distant how?" Fluttershy asked.
"Everytime I ask them if they wanna play with me and Rockruff, they get upset and decline." Jewel replied.
"Wow! That is distant. How long have this been going on?" Mykan asked.
"Well, a few days ago when I started playing with. Rockruff everyday, it's like they don't want Rockruff around me anymore and I don't know why." Jewel added.
"Maybe their majesties know what this is about." Mykan suggested. The mane 6, Mykan and Jewel headed to New Canterlot and were soon called into the throne room. Jewel explained the behavior change in Lightning in the others, baffling them.
"This is very unlike Lightning and his friends." Grand Ruler stated.
"I just don't know what is wrong with them." Jewel said.
"I believe I know what's going on." Everybody turned and saw Princess Luna entering the throne room. "What do you believe it is, Luna?" Celestia asked.
"I believe that Lightning and his friends are jealous of Rockruff." Luna replied.
"JEALOUS?!" The mane 6 exclaimed.
"Of Rockruff?!" Mykan added.
"Why in United Equestria would they be jealous of this darling little one?" Rarity asked.
"I have come to believe that Jewel has been spending more time with Rockruff than her friends, making them feel invisible and snubbed. Just like how I felt when I turned into Nightmare Moon." Luna explained.
"Well, I have been doing more things with Rockruff and forgetting things my friends and I were supposed to do." Jewel admitted, guilty.
Applejack came over and put an arm around Jewel, "It ain't your fault sugarcube, Rockruff's your pet, they need a lot of attention." she stared.
"Yeah, but I didn't mean to make them feel snubbed. What am I gonna do?" Jewel asked.
"I think I know." Mykan said.
Lightning and the others were at the Cake's café and Jewel walked in and over to their table. "Hey guys." She greeted.
Lighting and the others looked at Jewel, not saying a word. "Look, I'm really sorry that I've been snubbing you guys. It's just Rockruff needs alot of attention since he's my puppy. What I did was wrong and I can't take back what I did. You have the right to be mad at me. But all I wanted say is I'm sorry. I just hope one day, you all can forgive me." Jewel then walked out the café, leaving Lightning and the others to think.
She met up with Mykan and the mane 5 in the Ponyville park. The girls asked how it went and Jewel told them what happened. "Oh, don't worry darling, they'll come around." Rarity reassured.
"I think they've already have." Applejack said, pointing at Lightning and the others, who were approaching Jewel.
"Hey Jewel," Lightning greeted, "we've been thinking about what you said and... we're sorry too."
"We were all jealous of Rockruff." Dyno said.
"Cause you've been spending more time with him than you were with us." Myte added.
"I guess we were all being a little touchy about it." Starla stated.
"We're sorry, Jewel." The gang apologized.
"It's alright, you guys. Friends?" Jewel asked.
Lightning and the others surrounded Jewel in a hug, "Friends."

Once bright morning, Jewel, Lightning, his friends and their majesties were at the New Ponyville Hospital for Jewel's monthly check up. Dr. Penny gave Jewel her shot, checked her breathing and her heart rate, she even took some blood from her. After her checkup, Jewel and Dr. Penny came out, into the waiting room.
"How'd it go darling?" Rarity asked.
"She's perfectly healthy!" Penny declared. The ponies noticed Penny looking a bit shocked. Jewel went back to the palace for some more training, the ponies asked Penny what was wrong.
"I've tested Jewel's blood and..... well." Penny started.
"What? What is it?" Rainbow asked.
"It came back half space pony and.... half equestrian pony."
The ponies jaws dropped and their eyes widened. "Jewel is half space pony and equestrian pony! But how can that be?" Grand Ruler asked.
"The only reason I can think of, is she got it from get parents."
"Wait an applepickin minute! Didn't Jewel say her mother was an alicorn with no cutie mark ?" Applejack asked.
"Yea! And her father was a unicorn with a cutie mark ." Starla aadded .
"Are you sayin Jewel's mother was a SPACE ALICORN?!" Applejack exclaimed.
The ponies gasped in shock!
"Amazing! Does Jewel know?" Lightning asked.
"No. I haven't told her because she might not take the news well." Penny added.
"Oh please, so. Jewel finds out she's part space alicorn and equestria pony. What's the worse that could happen?" Rainbow asked, nonchalantly. As soon a the ponies returned to the royal palace, they told Jewel the news and she was hysterical!
"I'M PART WHHHHAAAT!!!"
The ones looked at rainbow with straight faces, "I'm guessing that's the worse that could happen." Buddy replied.
"This is no lie Jewel, your area part space alicorn and equestrian pony." Celestia repeated. Jewel's breathing called down and her pupils went back to normal.
"I-I...I need some time alone." Jewel dashed out the room and into her guest chamber. A moment of silence filled the room.
"Sooooooo, that went well." Pinkie stated, smiling.
Crystal, the changeling and Sarah, the Incesto were walking down the hallway when the passed Jewel's room, hearing whimpering sounds coming from it. The girls opened the door and saw Jewel, lying on her bed, crying.
"Jewel! What's the matter?" Crystal asked.
"*Sniffle* I found out that I'm part space alicorn and equestrian pony." Jewel sobbed. Crystal and Sarah looked at each other in confusion, "What's wrong with that?" Sarah asked.
Jewel looked at them, "It means that I'm not like my friends, I'm-I'm different!"
"What's wrong with being different?" Crystal asked.
"I don't wanna be different! My friends won't like me cause I'm different." Jewel replied.
"Jewel that's not true! They love you!" Crystal added.
"Yeah! You have powerful magic and an amazing abilities with animals! They love that about you!" Sarah said.
"But me being half-and-half. Its makes me feel..... like an outcast." Jewel added, sadly.
Crystal and Sarah looked at each other with concern etched on their faces. They went to Lightning and the gang and explained what happened. They were surprised by what they heard.
"Jewel thinks she's a outcast?!" Lightning exclaimed.
Crystal and Sarah nodded.
"That's simply ridiculous! We would never treat Jewel as an outcast. What ever made her think of such a thing?" Rarity asked.
"She said because she's a half-blood, she thinks that you guys will treat her differently." Crystal explained.
The ponies took pity on Jewel. "That's not true! We will still treat Jewel the same, even though she's a half-blood." Starla stated.
"Jewel doesn't think that's true." Sarah added.
"Well, we'll just have to show her that even though she's different, we will still treat her as our friend!" Buddy said.
"But how?" Dyno asked.
All the ponies thought for a moment, until Pinkie gasped, "I know! I know! We can all sing a song to Jewel!" she exclaimed.
Everybody liked that idea.
Jewel was still moping in her room, until Crystal and Sarah came in.
"Jewel, we need you for something important." Crsytal called.
Jewel looked up and sighed, "Okay." Jewel followed Crystal and Sarah into the throne room where the mane 6 were. They were all wearing happy faces.
"What's going on?" Jewel asked.
"Jewel, even though you're different from us, doesn't mean that we'll treat you any different." Rainbow said.
Then music started playing and the girls along with Crystal and Sarah started singing.

"Yeah! You could end up getting a cutie mark, like all of us!" Rainbow added.
Jewel smiled at all her friends.
"Thanks girls, you're the best!" Jewel exclaimed. All the girls shared a hug and laughed with each other.

Episode 21: New Element of Harmony
Two weeks have passed without any attacks from Sombra and Chrysalis's minions, so everything was safe... for now. Nightfall had risen over Untied Equestria, Princess Luna was on her night shift while everypony else was asleep. At Lightning and Starla's house, Jewel was sleeping peacefully, until she had a strange dream.
Jewel was in an area that had a castle in the distance and creepy-looking trees all over the place.
"The New Everfree Forest? What am I doing here?" she asked herself.
Jewel noticed a glow coming from near the Castle. Following the glow she arrived at a staircase made from rocks that lead into a large cave with a crystaline tree in it.
Jewel was utter amazement. "What is this place?" she asked.
"Your in the Cave of Harmony." Jewel turned around and saw Twilight's angel corn behind her.
"Twilight? What are doing here?" Jewel asked.
"I'm here to help you understand your power." Twilight replied.
"Power? What power?"
"So far, you've shown one of my friends elements from each of these events." Twilight showed Jewel all the events; from saving her friends from the Sombra and Chrysalis puppets, to saving them from the raging water currents, to meeting Crystal and Sarah.
"Each time you've a power that is another element of harmony." Twilight added.
"Yea. But what does it mean?" Jewel asked.
"Go to the Tree of Harmony to find out. I must go now. Good luck Jewel!"
Twilight vanished and Jewel woke up.
The next morning, Jewel had gathered all her friends and went to New Canterlot and were soon in the royal palace throne room with their majesties. Jewel explained to the ponies her dream last night.
"So Twilight told you that you have a power and you need to go to the Tree of Harmony to find out more?" Rainbiw summarized.
"Yes." Jewel replied.
"But it seems there is much more than what Twilight told you." Celestia stated.
"What do you mean your majesty?" Krysta asked.
"It seems what Jewel had last night was not a dream... but a vision." Grand Ruler added.
The ponies gasped in shock! "But I thought only Queen Celestia and Princess Luna could receive visions!" Lightning exclaimed.
"It appears that we're not the only ones anymore." Luna said.
"Well what are we waiting for? To the Tree of Hamrony!" Lightning called.
"Yeah!" Everybody cheered.
Soon the ponies arrived at the Cave of Harmony. The Tree of Harmony glistened brightly and sparkled. Grand Ruler was amazed by the tree, "Incredible!" he said.
Celestia laughed at her husband, this was the first time he'd actually seen the Tree of Harmony up close. He mainly listened to stories about how Celestia and Luna found the original elements in the tree to defeat Discord.
Jewel approached the Tree of Harmony slowly, she saw that the tree had a star in the middle, matching Twilight's cutie mark. "Wow!" she gasped. Suddenly her animal elements on her crown began to glow as well as the tree.
"What's going on?" Lightning asked. Nopony, even their majesties didn't know what was happening. The animal elements flew out of Jewel's crown and into the tree's branches, leaving only the center and and one branch empty. The tree glowed again and this time a white line raced down the center of the tree and onto the ground. A flower bloomed out of the ground and Jewel walked towards it. Touching the flower made it open, inside was an orb with a rainbow of colors.
"Woah!" Jewel gasped.
"I see you've found my little gift." a voice said. The ponies looked and saw Twilight's angel corn appear behind the tree. "But what does it mean? Why did the symbols in my crown go into the Tree of Harmony?" Jewel asked.
"Your animal symbols went into the Tree of Harmony because the tree has chosen you as a new element of harmony." Twilight explained. All the ponies were amazed and shocked.
"New element of harmony?!" Luna exclaimed.
"Indeed. Ever since Jewel became a member of the force she showed one of my friends elements." Twilight added.
"But how?" Rainbow asked.
"She showed loyalty when she saved us from the Sombra and Chrysalis puppets and the royal babies from Carla." Fluttershy said.
"She showed Magic when she defeated Sizzle in a magic duel." Pinkie added.
"Jewel showed Kindness and Laughter when she helped Crystal and Sarah into pony society. She healed Crystal of her loneliness and she gave hope to Sarah about having friendship." Grand Ruler stated.
"So far Jewel has shown great power and thr tree know this as well." Twilight added.
"So the tree is connected to Jewel and her animal elements? Incredible!" Celestia said.
"So what's the deal with this orb and New Element of Harmony?" Rainbow asked.
"The orb will unlock a power that will help Jewel in future, however, she must discover the sixth animal element in order to unlock the orb's power." Twilight answered.
The tree of harmony glowed again and Jewel's animal symbols floated out and back into Jewel's crown.
"But how will I know how to unlock the orb or find the sixth element?" Jewel asked.
"You will know when the time comes." Twilight said. Then, she vanished.
"Well, that.....was..... interesting." Pinkie Pie said.
Jewel looked at the orb in her hands, only wondering one question, " What element of harmony do I represent? What power is inside this orb?
Everypony returned to New Canterlot to discuss everything that has happened,
"I've never heard anything about another Element of Harmony," Celestia stated, "the only ones I've heard of are the ones the girls represent."
"So Jewel could have Valkyrie magic inside of her as well?!" Pinkie asked excited.
"If what Twilight said is true, then Jewel does have valkriye magic inside of her."
All the ponies were amazed. "So when will Jewel get her Valkyrie magic?" Applejack asked.
"Only time will tell when Jewel will receive her power, until then we will have to keep a sharper eye on Jewel." Grand Ruler said.
Sombra and Cheysalis were watching all of this through the dark orb and were intrigued by this new information.
"So the unicorn reprsents a new Element of Harmony now," Chrysalis said, "very, very interesting." Chrysalis smiled evily.
"Indeed, now we must find a way to capture that unicorn and harness her powerful magic for ourselves." Sombra sneered. Chrysalis and Sombra laughed evily with a picture of Jewel, showing in the dark orb.
In the next episode....
The ponies and Mykan go to the Grand Galloping Gala. However, Jewel decides to stay behind due to not felling that she will fit in with the crowd. When a monster shows up and captures Mykan, Jewel and the ponies stage a rescue mission. But when the stakes turn high, will the ponies be able to save their human friend?"

Episode 22: The Grand Galloping Gala
One afternoon, the ponies and Mykan were at Rarity’s boutique, for she was making all of them dresses and suits for the Grand Galloping Gala that would be held in New Canterlot Ballroom tonight.
“Oooooh, I can’t wait for the Grand Galloping Gala tonight, it’s going to be absolutely fabulous!” Rarity cried in excitement.
“I CAN’T WAIT! I CAN’T WAIT!” Pinkie added.
Rarity already finished the girls dresses and Lightning and his friends suits, including Mykan.
“Alright Jewel, it’s your turn.” Rarity called.
“No thanks Rarity, I don't want a dress.” Jewel replied.
“Why not Jewel?” Mykan asked.
“Because I’m not going to the Gala.” Jewel replied.
The mane 6 and Lightning and his friends gasped.
“Not going to the gala?!” Rainbow repeated, shocked.
“Now why in the hotel bills would you wanna miss out on the Gala?” Applejack asked.
“It’s just too…..fancy for me.” Jewel replied.
“What ever to you mean darling?” Rarity asked.
“I just feel like I won’t fit in with the crowd like all of you.” Jewel explained.
The ponies began to fathom what Jewel was saying: huge crowds of high class ponies would be attending the gala, including their majesties. Since, Jewel wasn’t used to being around fancy ponies, she felt that she would stick out.
“Come on Jewel, it won’t be that bad.” Mykan added.
“Sorry, but I think I’ll just stay in the library and read some books. See ya guys.” Jewel said and she walked out of the door.
“*Sigh* Poor darling.” Rarity added.
“I wish Jewel would be more confident in herself.” Rainbow added. All the ponies and Mykan agreed. Jewel needed a confidence boost if she was going to attend social outing like this.
Night had fallen and Jewel was in the royal library reading books on different kinds of magic, but her mind was not on reading,
Could Jewel really a Valkyrie magic inside of her?
New Element of Harmony!
Jewel thoughts were cut off by the door creaking open and Grand Ruler came in,
"Good evening, Jewel." he greeted.
"Hi, your majesty." Jewel replied.
"I've heard grin the girls that you won't be attending the gala. Care to explain why?" his majesty asked.
"It's just.... I don't think I'll fit in with the other ponies. They're are all fancy and high class while I'm... well not." Jewel explained.
"So your afraid you'll stand out in a crowd of high-class ponies?" Grand Ruler summarized. Jewel nodded.
"Well, I may not be able to change your decision but I'll leave you with this little piece of advice 'Sometimes standing out can be the greatest thing you can do.'" With that, Grand Ruler left the library leaving Jewel with her thoughts.
The gala was in full swing; ponies were dancing to the music or Jay walking around and talking. Mykan, the girls and Lightning and his friends were talking when they saw Jewel coming towards them.... wearing her dress. Jewel's dress was light green with fur on the end, she wore light green shoes and wore a butterfly clip in her hair.
All the ponies gasped at her in awe.
"Oh darling, you look amazing!" Rarity complimented.
"And how." Applejack added.
Mykan was too busy staring at Jewel to reply until Rainbow snapped him back to reality.
"Oh! Um.... you look beautiful Jewel." he said. Jewel smiled,
"Thank you, and you look handsome as well."
Mykan smilied at her while, the girls giggled quietly.
Mykan and Jewel walked away from the girls to talk. Jewel explained to Mykan how she was ripped away from her family, twice and found a new family in Lightning and his friends. Mykan explained to her how he lost his love, Michelle, to Titan, an evil sorceror. Mykan said how she sacrificed herself for him.
"Oooh, Mykan." Jewel cooed.
"It's okay Jewel." Mykan said. Jewel didn't let that go so easily and hugged Mykan, surprising him, but he hugged her back.
Suddenly, a huge sphinx- like creature with wing, burst into the room. Ponies immediately screamed and panicked. Their majesties protected them with their magic.
"Stay here Jewel. Okay?" Mykan asked. Jewel nodded and went to hide under a table.
Lightning and the team transformed and charged the creature with Mykan, welding his Sword of Pure Soul, not far behind.
The gang attacked the sphinx from all sides.
“WHIPLASH STRIKE”
“SUPER STAFF SPIN”
“THRASH SLASH”
“BOOM-BOOM FLARE”
"GALACTIC PROJECTILE”
"UNIFORCE!!”
"PURE SOUL BEAM"
The attacks hit the sphinx, but to everyone's horror, the attacks barely did any damage! The sphinx roared and grabbed Mykan in it paws, "Hey!" He cried.
The ponies tried to save him but the sphinx spread it's wings and flew off with Mykan. The sphinx took Mykan deep within New Everfree Forest and toed him up to a tree.
Mykan struggled but he couldn't break free. To make matters worse, the sphinx took his Sword of Pure Soul, so now he's defenseless. "You won't get away with this!" Mykan growled.
"Oh, but I will, those ponies will definitely come for you and when they do they'll be leading their previous unicorn right into my trap." The sphinx explained.
"Oh, and to make sure you can escape." The sphinx whistled and four timberwolves came out of brush and surrounded Mykan on all sides. Mykan gulped nervously.
The ponies and their majesties held an emergency meeting in the throne room.
"We've gotta save Mykan!" Rainbow cried.
"Indeed. But we do not know why the sphinx took him and where." Grand Ruler said.
"I think I know." Lightning added, "It wanted Jewel."
The ponies gasped softly, "But why would it take Mykan instead of Jewel?" Buddy asked.
"It probably knows that Jewel will do anything to save the ones she loves, including giving herself up." Celestia said.
"So that sphinx just took Mykan as bait, so Jewel would go after him, so it can capture her and take her Sombra and Chrysalis." Fluttershy summarized.
Their majesties nodded.
"So what do we do?" Lightning asked.
"We will have to rescue Mykan, without Jewel surrendering herself." Celestia said.
"How?" Pinkie asked.
"Maybe I can help." Everybody turned and saw Crystal the changeling standing in the doorway. The ponies smiled at the thought of a new plan.
Mykan was still surrounded by four timber wolves with the Sphinx right beside him. The sphinx saw a figure coming forth and smiled evily.
"Soooo, you've come for your little human friend, huh, Jewel?" The sphinx said.
"Yes. Now give him back!" 'Jewel' demanded.
"Not before I take you back to my masters." The sphinx grabbed 'Jewel' much to Mykan's horror.
"Jewel! No!" He cried.
"Hehehe, finally I have the little unicorn." The sphinx laughed.
"Yeah about that." The sphinx and Mykan looked and saw another Jewel standing.
"What the-! Two Jewels?!" Mykan exclaimed.
"How is that possible?" The sphinx asked equally surprised.
The Jewel in the sphinx's paw was suddenly coated in green fire and changed into a changeling. The sphinx freaked out and released the changeling, who dashed over and quickly knocked out the four timberwolves and slashed the rope, freeing Mykan.
"What?" The sphinx said.
"UNIFORCE!!!"
Suddenly, a golden projectile came in and blasted the Sphinx, capturing it in a sphere.
The dusty cleared to reveal Lightning standing tall with his golden horn glowing.
"You okay, Mykan?" Lightning asked.
"Yea. Thanks to you guys." Mykan replied.
"I'm glad you're alright." Jewel said.
Mykan smiled at her, "Can't get rid of me that easily." Mykan joked. Jewel playfully punched Mykan in the arm.
"Come on let's go home." Jewel added.
The four friends walked back to New Canterlot, safe and sound.

The annual United Equestrian Race is happening and Jewel is participating along with a lot of other ponies. But what she doesn't know is that Sombra's minions have placed traps hidden within the race.

One day Jewel was playing with Rockruff in the New Canterlot Royal Garden.
"Fetch boy!" Rockriff chased the ball abd found it near some flowers. He out the ball in his mout and brought it back to Jewel.
"Good boy." Jewel petted Rockruff and his barked happily.
"Hey Jewel!" Jewel turned and see Lightning, Mykan, Starla and the girls coming towards her.
"Hey guys."
"So Jewel, you entering the United Equestrian Race tomorrow?" Mykan asked.
"You get! I'm gonna use Starburst in the race."
The friends were suddenly confused, " Who's Starburst, Jewel?" Lightning asked.
"My little toperedo-shaped vehicle."
"Oooooh." The friends replied.
"So, what's the race course gonna be like?" Jewel asked.
"First, you have to go through the New Everfree Forest, then you go through New Cloudsdale. After that, you go through the frozen North, pass the New Crystal Empire and all the way up to Mount E.U and the first racer back to the finish line is the winner." Starla explained.
"Okay. Thanks guys." Jewel said
"So Jewel are you sure you're prepared for the race?" Rainbow asked.
"Hmmm. I guess not but I don't really know what to pack for the race."
"Don't 'cha worry sugarcube, we'll help you." Applejack said.
"Indeedy." Pinkie added.
"Thanks you guys." Jewel said, smiling.
"Come on let's get you ready." Mykan said.
By the next morning, Jewel was all ready and packed; Applejack packed plenty of food for her. Rarity packed some warm clothing for her. Fluttershy gave her a little book on animals that live from the Everfree to the Forzen North and a first aid kit, in case she got injuried during the race. Rainbow gave her a telescope so she can see far away. Mykan gave Jewel his cape.
Jewel and Starburst were at the staring line with all the other competitors. Jewel placed Starburst in "Land Mode". Now Starburst had two sets of tires for land travel. Their majesties were there to watch the race. They were both surprised and happy that Jewel would be entering the race.
"Thanks for helping me pack, guys." Jewel praised.
"No problem, Jewel." Mykan said.
"All racers to the starting line!" The announcer said.
"Well gues that's my cue. See you guys at the finish line." Jewel added.
Mykan, the girls, Lightning and Starla all went and took their places neat their majesties.
All the racers took their places at the starting line.
"Okay racers! In your marks......Get set.....GO.!!!!" The announcer called. The racers and their carts dashed forward bursting through New Ponyville and into New Everfree Forest.
Jewel was in fourth place, but she was going slow, due to the dangers she knows come from the area. All the other racers zoomed passed him. "This place sure is creepy. I better be careful." She said to herself.
The bushes near her suddenly rustled. "What was that? " she thought.
Jewel carefully drive Starburst into the brush and found an injured creature. It looked like a wolf, but it was made entirely out of wood. The poor creature was trying to stand up, but it's left hind leg was badly bruised.
Jewel looked up the creatures information in the book Fluttershy gave her:Timberwolves bear a resemblance to real wolves, but their bodies are comprised entirely of twigs, logs, and leaves. They usually live in packs but they are known to loners from time to time.
"Poor thing." Jewel cooed. Jewel opened the cockpit and climbed out with the first aid kit. The timberwolf saw her and growled. "Easy, boy." She said, "I don't want to hurt you. I want to help you."
The timberwolf stopped growling and calmed down. Jewel placed the kit next top the wolf and opened it. She took out some bruise cream and bandages.
Jewel rubbed the cream on the brusie, making the wolf flinch a little. Then, she placed the bandages over the wound.
"There. All better!" Jewel cheered.
The timberwolf stood up and placed pressure on his injured leg. Feeling little to no pain the timberwolf barked happily. It went over to Jewel and licked her face thankfully.
"Hahaha! Okay, boy. Down boy." Jewel said.
The timberwolf stopped licking Jewel. "I've gotta get back to the race. See ya buddy. Feel better." Jewel called as she packed up the kit and raced back to Starburst. She climbed in, closed the cockpit and started the engine. She sped off at the speed of light.
Back at the starting line, the ponies all saw what Jewel did and were speechless. "Did Jewel just help a timberwolf?!" Lightning spoke.
"Indeed." Grand Ruler said.
"That's....was....amazing!" Rainbow exclaimed.
"Who knew!" Mykan added.
"Something tells me that there are more surprises coming Jewel's way." Celestia stated.
Unfortunately, Sombra, Chrysalis and their minions were also watching the race.
"Ummm. This could be the opportunity we've been waiting for." Sombra stated.
"How so, your majesty?" Swift asked.
"You three are going to place hidden traps for Jewel in the race. She'll never know what happened before it's too late." Sombra explained.
"Um, hate to be the wet blanket, but what if the ponies notice what we are doing?" Carla asked.
"They all will be too busy watching the race to notice one of their racers missing." Chrysalis said.
"So go, make this a race nopony will ever forget." Sombra ordered. The minions saluted and teleported away. Sombra nd Chrysalis snickered evily.
Back at the racetrack, Jewel had made it to New Cloudsdale. She activitated Starburst's "Air Mode". Starburst gained a thruster in its tail fin, rocketing it into the city of clouds. Jewel took in the beauty of the city.
"Woah. Cool." She gasped.
Suddenly, Jewel felt her stomach growl loudly. She placed a hand on ber stomach, "Man, all this racing got me hungry. Good thing Applejack packed some food for me." Jewel said to herself.
Jewel put Starburst on "Auto-Pilot" while she dug into her lack and pulled out an apple pie. She ate the pie, enjoying every delicious taste.
"Hmmm. This is good." Jewel said to herself. After she finished the pie, she took Starburst off of "Auto-Pilot". By that time storm clouds began to roll in.
"Weird. I don't remember New Cloudsdale scheduling a storm of today. " Suddenly, it began pouring rain, making it harder for Jewel to see. However, she was ablw to see lightning that began to come out of the clouds, almost hitting Starburst.
"Woah! Yikes! Woah!" Jewel stated after dodging many lightning bolts. She swerved around the bolts. Finally, ahe made it out of the storm, safe and sound.
"Phew, that was close. I'd better catch up with the other racers." Jewel said to herself. Jewel drove Starburst fast to catch up with the other racers. Soon, she found them, they were five yards away from her.
"Perfect! Time for me to get in first place " Jewel thought happily. That was cut short when she saw snowflakes falling from the sky. Also, the temperature dropped dramatically.
"Brrr! It sure is cold. Wait! Snow, cold weather. I must be in the.....FROZEN NORTH "
The weather and the snow made it hard for Jewel to steer. "Starburst! Heat Mode!" Starburst's interior heat rose, so the engine wouldn't freeze up and Jewel put on Rarity's warm clothing; a hat, scarf and a coat and boots.
"Good thing Rarity packed this, or I would've been an ponysicle." Jewel praised.
Jewel went passed the New Crystal Empire and made it to Mount United Equestria, or simply called Mount U. E by many was located in the northern most corner of the planet, way past the New Crystal Empire.
"Time to climb." Jewel drove Starburst up, up, up the mountain. She was halfway up when she heard some rumbling. "What's that?" Jewel looked in front of her and saw a wall of snow barreling towards her. "AVALANCHE..!!!!" Jewel tried to put run the avalanche but it was no use. The avalanche buried her in a mountain of snow. Sombra's minions giggle evily while the ponies were horrified.
"Oh no! Jewel!" Mykan cried.
Jewel was trying to get out but the snow was too thick for Starburst to just fly through. Worse off all, the heating was cut off so now jewel was staying to free.
"S-S-S-S-Soooo C-C-C-C-Cold. Help." Jewel cried shivering violently.
Just then, the snow above get began to disappear like something was digging through the snow to get to her. Twobig she arms came in and easily pulled Starburst out of the hole. Jewel looked and saw that the creature who pulled her out was none other than a polar bear.
"You heard me call for help?" She asked.
The bear nodded.
Jewel smiled thankfully at the bear, " Thank you." The ponies were all shocked at this but abused and relieved that Jewel was alright.
Jewel reactivated "Heat Mode" and continued her climb. She finally made it to the top. Unfortunately, she saw the other racers were way ahead of her, almost back to New Cloudsdale.
"As man. There they go, I'm last again! *Sigh* I'm never gonna win this race." She drove Starburst down Mount U.E. Traveling back the way she came she started singing.

I want to win this race somehow, But I’m not in first place right now. I'm not in second, or in third. I don't know quite how this occurred. I'm well prepared, but I’m not fast! Instead of leading, I’m dead last. And I’m not happy about this, no sir! I’m not happy about this.
Everybody else is so fast! Maybe I should just give up. But if I give up, I definitely won't win!
Oh yes, I’m bummed that I’m so slow, But it’s not over yet, I know. My chance of winning’s kind of small, But if I quit, there’s none at all. So I’ll keep hiking ‘cross this range and hope that things will somehow change. ‘Cause I’d be happy about that, yes sir! Oh, I’d be happy about that! If something strange makes this race cha-a-ange...well, I’d be happy about that!
Jewel drove through New Cloudsdale and was now in New Everfree Forest. She spotted the other racers but somwthing wasn't right; They looked to bd stuck. Driving behind the trees and getting closer to the racers, she saw that they wete all trapped in a sticky web. They tried driving out but it was too thick. Jewel drove in front of the racers.
"Don't worry I'll get you all out!"
Jewel transformed into her dragon form; her body and tail turned scaly, small, white scales came out of her back. Finally, her mouth gained sharp teeth.
"DRAGON FLAME" Jewel fired a beam of fire at the web, melting it completely and setting th racers free.
They all thanked Jewel and the race was back on! The racers zoomed through the forest and approached the finish line. Theyes all crossed the finish line.
"And the winner of the United Equestrian Race is......
JEWEL.!!!" The crowd went wild, cheering and applauding loudly.
"I won? I WON!" Jewel cried. A pony came up to Jewel with a trophy and a first place medal. All her friends approached her,
"Way'd a go, Jewel!"
"That's the way!"
"Alright Jewel!"
"Excellent work, Jewel!" Celestia cried.
Jewel smilied at all her friends.
"Thanks guys." Jewel said.

Jewel begins to wonder if she has a destiny like all her friends. Her friends tell her that she does have one and to be patient and she will find it. It is put to the rest when Sombra and Chrysalis capture Jewel and threaten to streal Jewel's magic, unless her friends surrender their magic to them.

Episode 24: Part 1: Jewel's Purpose
It was morning in United Equestria. It's been two days since the race and everypony was returning after their regular patrols.
"All is safe, your majesties." Lightning reported.
"Very good, all of you." Celestia praised.
"How's Jewel's training?" Grand Ruler asked.
"She's become almost as strong as me. She's learned a variety of spells and battling moves." Lightning replied.
"Excellent." Grand Ruler said.
"It's amazing at how far she's come." Rainbow said.
Everybody agreed. Jewel started out as a frightened, powerless unicorn. Now she's become a powerful fighter, just like her friends.
"I wonder when she'll unlock her Valkyrie magic." Fluttershy wondered.
"Only time will tell when that'll happen. For now we must keep an eye on Jewel, for who knows what Sombra and Chrysalis are planning." Grand Ruler warned.
Everybody nodded. That afternoon, the ponies was busy training; increasing their power and agility for whatever Sombra and Chrysalis would throw their way.
Meanwhile, Jewel walked out to the highest balcony and gazed up at the sky. She was thinking about what she was meant to do; sure she's defending the Dimensional Universe from evil, but she had a nagging feeling that she is meant to do more.
"Jewel." A voice called. Jewel turned around and saw their majesties, Princess Luna and Princess Cadence, all staring at her with slight concern.
"Jewel, is something wrong? Why are you out here all alone?" Grand Ruler asked.
"It's nothing....it's...*Sigh*....I've been having this feeling...that I'm meant to do more in our world. Like having a purpose." Jewel explained.
"Why this sudden thought?" Luna asked.
"It's just all my friends have a purpose in life, even Crystal and Sarah. Everybody I know has a purpose....except me." Jewel turned back around and walked to the railing, then she began to sing;

Queen Celestia hugged Jewel. "Your time will come." She said. Suddenly a xage came over Jewel.
"Ahhh.!!!"
Their majesties gasped as the cage was lifted up and vanished, "GUUUUYYYYS...!!!" Jewel cried before she vanished.
"JEWEL.!!!!" Their majesties cried. They immediately went to tell the others.
Jewel woke up in a cell and found her ankles and wrists bound to a wall by powerful dark magic manacles.
"Ahhhh, so you finally awoke." A voice said. Jewel looked and saw Swift, Carla and Bron standing outside her cell.
"Why are you three doing this?" Jewel asked.
"Because our masters ordered us to." Carla replied.
"Why do you still listen to them even though they treat you like garbage?' Jewel asked.
"Because we'll get powerful magic out of it." Swift said.
"Yea. Our masters will reward us for all our hard work." Bron said.
"But what if they just get rid of you?" Jewel asked.
"Yeah right! They need us." Swift conuntered. Up on the deck above the minons and Jewel heard Sombra and Chrysalis talking.
"I can't believe they would do actually belive we need them. HAHAHA! Idiots." Sombra said.
"Once we get those ponies magic. It will all ours." Chrysalis added.
The minions were devastated by what they just heard.
"Impossible! They need us!" Swift cried.
"You don't need them to have great power." Jewel stated.
"Well, then how else will we have powerful magic?" Carla asked.
"You can start by having friendship. Friendship is a powerful force of magic in itself." Jewel added. The minions thought about it and gently smilied at Jewel and she smilied back.
Back at United Equestria, their majesties told the ponies what happened and they were equally devastated.
"We got to get her back!" Rainbow exclaimed.
"I'm afraid it won't be that easy. Sombra also gave us this when he took Jewel."
Celestia showed them a note that read;
If you ever want to see your precious unicorn again,
Surrender all your magic to me and Chysalis
Sombra
The ponies were outraged, "That snake!" Lightning said.
"Now what?" Fluttershy asked.
"We'll have to fight them to get Jewel back." Grand Ruler said.
The ponies agreed to that plan of action.
Back on the ship, Jewel began teaching the minions a little about friendship.
"So a friend is someone who sticks by you through thick and thin?" Swift said.
"And accepts you for who you are?" Carla added.
Jewel nodded.
"I think I like friendship now." Bron said.
"Me too." Swift and Carla agreed.
Suddenly, they all began to flash and were transported to the New Canterlot Village, where Lightning and all his friends, including their majesties, stood.
"Guys!" Jewel cried.
"So are you willing to surrender your magic for your friend?" Sombra asked.
"Not a chance!" Grand Ruler exclaimed.
"Fine. We'll have to use a more painful method."
Sombra took out the dark orb and to Jewel's horror, began to take her friends magic. The ponies groaned as the magic left them and they fell to the ground with tinted gray eyes as it was completed. Sombra and Chrysalis couldn't stop laughing with wicked glee.
"Now to destroy you ponies." Sombra said.
"NO....!!" Jewel cried.
She used her magic to teleport everyone, including the minions out of the ship.
"Oh, well let's have some fun with our new magic." Chrysalis hissed.
Meanwhile, Jewel teleported everyone to New Canterlot Palace. From there she explained what happened in the ship. The ponies couldn't believe that she was able to reform the minions, but they had bigger fish to fry.
"How are we gonna beat them?" Jewel asked.
We are too weak to do battle the only one how can best them nkw is you..Jewel." Grand Ruler said.
Jewel gasped in horror.

Episode 25: Part 2: Jewel's Ultimate Battle
Previously on Starfleet Magic...
Jewel was captured by Sombra and Chrysalis, while she was in there she managed to convince Swift, Carla and Bron to change their ways.
Meanwhile, her friends tricked Sombra and Chrysalis into giving up their magic but it backfired when Sombra and Chrysalis used the Dark Orb to actually steal their magic. Now the ponies and Untied Equestria's only hope is Jewel.
"M-me! Battle them. I can't do that!" Jewel exclaimed.
"Why not? You've done this before" Rainbow asked.
"Well, yeah but those were just puppets with only a fraction of they're power. Now they're super powered and have all of your magic!" Jewel stated.
"True, however, you have your own powerful magic." Grand Ruler stated, referring to her crown and sword.
"But I don't think it'll be enough." Jewel replied.
"It will be enough. We know it will." Swift said.
"And we'll help you." Carla said.
Jewel calmed down and smilied.
Suddenly, KA-BOOOM!!!
.....The doors to the throne room burst opneed reavealing Sombra and Chrysalis laughing with wicked glee.
"Well, Well, well, look at what we have here. All of these ponies without there magic. Such a shame." Chrysalis said. Sombra and Chrysalis began slowly walking towards the powerless ponies. Jewel stood in front of protect her friends.
"Leave them alone!" She demanded.
"Hahaha! What can a unicorn like you possible do against us? Especially since we have this." Sombra's horn began to glow a golden color and he blasted a golden projectile at Jewel. Luckily she dodged it, however this revealed that Sombra now has control of the uniforce, the most powerful attack in he Dimensional Universe.
Jewel quickly striked back, "MAGICAL ARROW!!" unfortunately, the attack didn't do any damage.
"HA! Pathetic! Let's show her what real power is." Sombra and Chrysalis fired a combination of projectiles at Jewel. Jewel used her teleportation magic to avoid it.
She reappeared in New Everfree Forest. Jewel collapsed into her behind, breathing heavily. There was no way she would be able to deafeat Sombra and Chrysalis with just her unicorn and animal magic.
"How am I gonna defeat them now ?" She thought to herself.
Suddenly, her horn began to glow and her crown and sword appeared before her. The objects floated away and Jewel followed them. They lead all the way to the Cave of Harmony, the objects stopped in front of the Tree of Harmony and Jewel stood in front of the tree.
Jewel was confused, "The Tree of Harmony? Why would they go here?" Jewel asked.
"Isn't it obvious?" A voice said. Jewel looked and saw Twilight standing beside the tree. Twilight walked up to Jewel, "You've finally unlocked the power of the rainbow orb."
"I did?! But how? I didn't earned another animal symbol." Jewel stated.
Twilight smiled at her, "Are you sure? Look again."
Jewel took off her crown and looked at it- there in the last spot was a lion symbol.
"But went did it appear?"
"Lions are known to defend their family no matter how big the threat to itself. Also, by giving Sombra's minions another chance at life, you've shown a new element: The Element of....Hope."
As soon as Twilight said that, the rainbow orb and the tree of harmony glowed; the Tree and the orb blasted a rainbow beam at Jewel, transforming her into a Valkyrie.
Her mane and tail gained light blue and white highlights, a headband appeared under get hair. She gained magenta-colored armor and her sword appeared in her right hand and shield appeared in her left. The shield had the faces of each of the animals symbols she has earned with the lion being in the middle.
"Woah." Jewel gasped.
"Now it is time to defend your friends and family." Twilight said. Jewel nodded and exited the cave as Twilight vanished.
"Ready or not, Sombra and Chrysalis, here I come." Jewel said.
Back at New Canterlot, Sombra and Chrysalis were sitting in Queen Celestia and Grand Ruler's thrones, laughing at the powerless ponies. Chrysalis brought her changeling army into the throne room as well. Already they've taken the magic from all of the Equestrian and Space ponies. Now they've cocoond the gang and had them hanging from the ceiling.
"You will not prevail, Sombra and Chrysalis." Celestia declared.
"We've already have, we've taken all the magic from your world and there's no pony that can stop us!" Chrysalis sneered.
"How about a changeling and Incesto?!" A voice called.
"WHAT?!" Sombra and Chrysakis looked and saw Crystal and Sarah standing in the doorway.
"So the traitor has come." Chrysalis added.
"Let them go!" Crystal spoke.
"Hahaha! You are in no condition to make demands. My changeling army shall feed on their love for generations and only I know what's best for them!"
"No, you don't! You don't know what's best for them!"
"Oh! And you do?"
"Yes. I made a friend and now I don't need to feed off of others." Crystal stated them looked at her changelings, "You don't need to live your lives starving all the time!"
The changeling looked at each other. "Hahaha! What a ridiculous speech. My changeling do not need friendship to survive. And your gonna learn what happens to those who turn their back on the hive!" Chrysalis blasted Crystal with hwr magic, levitating her in front of her.
"No! Crystal! The ponies cried.
Chrysalis opened her mouth and a pink beam of magic flowed into her mouth.
"Ahh! I can feel the love inside me slipping away. I can't hold on to it much longer!" Crystal groaned.
"DON'T! Sharing love is what made you different from the others. You should share yours with Chrysalis. GIVE HER ALL OF IT!" Sarah called.
Crystal closed her eyes and realeased the love, sending Chrysalis into a wall. Everybody looked and saw a glowing cocoon surround Crystal. Sarah walked up to it abd touxhed it. The cocoon opened and revealed Crystal's new metamorphic form.
A beetle-like mandibles protruding from her forehead. Crystal had an assortment of colors. She still had the same blue eye color but the carapace on the changeling's legs were a lighter blue color, along with its head, her neck changing colors to pink near the base of the neck. She now has a yellow body and translucent, pink bug-like tail and pink elytron shielding its wings.
Sarah stood in shock at her friend.
"This is what happens when you give love freely instead of taking it!" Sarah announced to the changeling.
One by one, the changelings released their love and transformed into smaller versions of Crystal. They were colors ranging from turquoise to violet. The changeling flew up to the ceiling and realeased the captured gang setting them down on the ground. Sombra and Chrysalis were furious!
"AGHHHHH!!! THAT'S IT YOUR ARE ALL DEAD!!!" they blasted a powerful beam of dark magic at the large group.
"Lookout!" Rainbow cried. Suddenly.....
"HOWL BEAM" a cream yellow stream of rings collided with the beam destroying it and hitting Sombra and Chrysalis.
Everybody looked and saw her standing with her armor glowing.
"Jewel!" Starla cried.
"WHAT! IMPOSSIBLE!" the evil duo cried.
"She got her Valkyrie magic! Alright!" Lightning cried.
"Crystal! Sarah! Get everypony and changeling to safety! I'll deal with these two." Jewel stated.
Crystal and Sarah followed through and guided everyone to a safe location; the middle of New Ponyville.
Jewel stood in front of the evil duo ready to fight.
"Let's finish what we started." Jewel said.
Sombra and Chrysalis snarled, "Gladly."
They roared and charged Jewel at full speed. Jewel leaped over them and "DRAGON FLAME!!" Pink fire came out of the sword and blasted Sombra and Chrysalis, sending them crashing to the ground.
The duo got back you, "DARKNESS BLAST"
"BUFFALO CHARGE" Jewel charged the beam of magic head on and ran through the beam hitting Sombra and Chrysalis.
The duo were outraged! They blasted a beam of dark magic at Jewel, but she skillfully used her shield and deflected the beam back at the duo. Jewel put her sword and shield on her back and charged the duo. Sombra and Chrysalis did the same thing.
The three enganged in full on fist fight; kicking and punching each other viciously. Chrysalis punched Jewel; Jewel kicked Sombra and Sombra kicked Jewel. Jewel finally punched them in the stomach sending them into the floor.
Jewel was badly beaten; her face was bruised, her mane was badly disheveled, she was breathing heavily, her suit was dented in some spots and had scorch marks. It only had a little power left from such a hard battle. Sombra and Chrysalis looked no better.
"TIME TO END THIS.!!!!" They roared. Coating themselves in all the magic they've stolen, including the uniforce, they charged Jewel like warriors. Jewel coated herself in all the magic from her elements, sword and the littlepower left in her suit. She roared and charged the duo. They collided causing a huge, deadly explosion; destroying about half the palace!
The ponies and changeling saw everything from New Ponyville, they all stood in utter shock.
"Galloping Galaxies!" Lightning cried.
"Jewel!" Starla cried.
"Come on!" Rainbow said. Everybody flew to the battlefield. They spotted a huge crater where half of the palace once stood. Seeing a figure walking out of the crater, they went to investigate. The figure came out of the dust to reveal......
.......Jewel, holding the dark orb In her hands. Her suit was a wreck; her visor was gone, her mane and tail were scorched, she was missing a boot, half her armor and she had dozens of bruises and scratches.
"JEWEL.!!!!!" Crystal and Starla cried as they hugged their best friend. Jewel was breathing very heavily and handed the orb to Starla and then......collapsed.
Everyone gasped in horror. "JEWEL...!!!!!"
Beep...Beep...Beep
That was the first thing Jewel heard as she woke up. Her vision was blurry but she could make out fourteen blobs.
"She's waking up." One blob said.
"Shhh!" One blob hushed.
Jewel's eyesight cleared and she saw the mane 6 and Lightning and his friends, including Mykan.
"Hey, sugarcube. How ya feelin'?" Applejack asked.
Jewel groaned painfully, "Like I got run over by a dragon." Her voice was hoarse, so Lightning poured her a glass of water and pressed it against her mouth and she drank all of it. "Thanks."
"Well Penny said that you would be sore for a couple days. So I'm not surprised." Mykan explained.
"How's everybody?" Jewel asked.
"Everybody is fine. Starla returned the magic to United Equestria and their majesties destroyed the dark orb. It's power will never be used again. Oh! And the palace is fully restored as well." Lightning explained.
Jewel sighed in relief, "That's good."
"Now let's talk about your awesome Valkyrie magic!" Rainbow said, "That was incerdible, with the hair, sword and shield. Oh my stars!"
Everybody chuckled at Rainbow.
"You'll have to have that chat later, my brave ponies and human. Jewel needs her rest. You'll have to come back tomorrow." Dr. Penny ordered.
One by one the ponies left the room.
Lightning stared at his student, "Words can't describe how proud I am of you, Jewel." Lightning stated.
Jewel smiled at him, "Well, I had great friends and an amazing teacher to help me." She replied.
With that, Lighting left the room, leaving Jewel to rest in peace and quiet.

Previously on Starfleet Magic...
Jewel unlocked the powers of the rainbow orb, warning herself Valkyrie magic in the process. While, Crystal the changeling managed to reformed her fellow changeling and transform. Jewel returned to New Canterlot where she battled Sombra and Chrysalis and won! Now Jewel will receive something that will change her life.
Three days passed and Jewel recovered from her injuries. During those days, her friends came to visit her including their majesties. Now she was in the throne room with their majesties, Lightning and his friends along with the mane 5 and Mykan.
"Jewel, you've shown great bravery in the face of danger. Thanks to you, United Equestria and the entire Dimensional Universe is safe once more." Grand Ruler praised.
"Thanks but I couldn't have done it without the belief from all my friends." Jewel replied. All her friends surrounded Jewel in a big group hug.
Suddenly, Jewel's horn glowed and the ponies all spread out. Queen Celestia and the mane five's chest began glowing. Just then, they shot out a colored beam at Jewel.
Rainbow: Red
Fluttershy: Yellow
Rarity: White
Applejack: Orange
Pinkie Pie: Pink
Queen Celestia: Purple
All the beams formed a ball around Jewel, making her float in the air. All the girls were shocked and scared at this. Jewel closed her eyes as the ball glowed brighter, until it exploded.
Everyone uncovered their eyes, "Wh-What happened?" Fluttershy asked.
They all saw to their horror that Jewel dissappeared and in her spot was star on the ground.
"Where'd she go?!" Mykan asked.
Jewel found herself in a light blue area with stars all around. "Where am I? What is this place?" She asked herself.
Then Twilight appeared, "Congratulations Jewel, I knew you could do it."
Jewel walked up to her and hugged her, "Twilight?! I don't understand. What did I do?" she asked.
"You did something that has never been done before. Something even a great, powerful unicorn like Starswril the Bearded was no able to do because he did not understand friendship like you do. The friendships you've made in New Ponyville have taught you well. You have proven that you're ready Jewel." Twilight explained and she walked off.
Jewel followed, "Ready? Ready for what?"
Walking down a star path images of all the things Jewel has done, from arriving in United Equestria to defeating Sombra and Chrysalis, appeared. Twilight began singing the samd song Celestia sang to her;

When she was done singing a small pink ball appeared in front of Jewel and circled adound her, it circled faster and faster and her back began to light up. Suddenly, she was covered in a bright ball and was teleported back to New Canterlot.
Having seen the ball of light, all her friends came to the center of the village. The ball touched down and slowly dimmed reavealing Jewel's shape.
"Jewel, is that you?" Applejack asked. Jewel stood up straight to reveal a necklace with a magenta-colored crystal dove with an angel circle above it and a new pair of pink wings on her back. Finally, on her flank was a cutie mark; it was a six-pointed star with all of the animal symbols she's unlocked around it. Everybody gasped in shock and amazement.
Applejack approached Jewel, "I-Ive never seen anythin' like it."
"HA! Jewel's got wings! Awesome! A new flying buddy!" Rainbow said.
"Why you've become an alicorn!" Rarity added.
"ALICORN PARTYYYYY.....!!!" Pinkie Pie shouted blowing a party horn.
"Wow. You look just like a princess. This is just how Twilight became on." Fluttershy said.
"But we did not do anything." Celesto said.
"Then, if you two didn't do this. Then who did?" Mykan asked.
"I did." Everybody looked and saw Twilight's angel-corn.
"TWILIGHT?!" The mane five exclaimed.
"You did this?!" Their majesties added.
"Yes, I believe Princess Jewel deserved it." Twilight replied.
"Woah, Woah, Woah! Did you just call Jewel......a princess?!" Mykan asked. Twilight nodded.
Everybody gasped in amazement, "I'm a princess!" Jewel exclaimed.
"Indeed. You are now Princess Jewel, the princess of harmony."
"B-But Why?" Jewel asked.
Twilight placed a hand in Jewel's shoulder, "Since you've come to United Equestria, you've displayed the charity, compassion, devotion, integrity, optimision and of course, the leadership of a true princess." Twilight explained.
Jewel's ears dropped down, But does this mean I'm not Lightning's student anymore?" Jewel nervously asked.
"Oh, Jewel. I'll always be your mentor but we all your students now too. You are an inspiration to us all Jewel." Lightnig said. All her friends, including their majesties bowed to her.
"But what do I do now? Is therr a book about being a princess I should read?" Jewel asked.
"Trust me. There isn't." Twilight said. Everybody chuckled at their New Princess.
"And there's one more surpisre." Twilight led everybody to the end he of Ponyville near a waterfall where they all gasped in wonder. A huge castle stood in the middle of the area.
The multi-level castle in its branches, which includes a great balcony, two spires, and a tower. The structure has at least one banner flying on the side marked and the top bears a large crystal star. Two sets of five strings of beads hang off the side of the structure much like the white beads that hang off the Tree of Harmony. At the foot is a great golden stair for the two-leaved golden door into the tree's body.
"Galloping Galaxies!" Lightning cried.
"This.....is....mine?" Jewel asked.
"Indeed. This is your castle now." Twilight confirmed.
"Looks like someone has her own mini-palace now~" Mykan sang. Jewel smiled at him and playfully punched him.
"Looks like a new chapter has begun for you, Jewel." Grans Ruler stated.
"Yeah. It has." Jewel confirmed.

My Brave Pony Starfleet Magic: The New Member
The girl was running away as fast as her injured legs could carry her. Two figures were chasing her, blasting beams of magic at her. Breathing heavily and sweating profusely, the girl forced herself to keep going. Finally, she turned into some trees that lead into a clearing near a town.
Her pursuers lost sight of her and gave up the chase. The girl was so exhausted that she collasped and lost consciousness. Her collapsing didn't go unnoticed. A bunch of humanoid alicorns like her saw her collapse and rushed over.
"My goodness!"
"Poor thing!"
"Quick, notify their majesties!"
Soon two humanoid alicorns approached. One female in a light golden gown with a white top showing her cutie mark of the sun and the other was a tall, white male alicorn with a short dark mane with images of space flowing like a picture. He wore jewel-encrusted golden armor with doublets on each side into it, a red cape with gold markings fluttering on his back, even though there was no breeze. He had golden pegasus wings, black boots with golden edges round the feet. Atop his head were three golden horns, all shimmering like the stars. Finally, his mane showed images of space like stars (no planets).
They were Queen Celestia and Grand Ruler Celestio, the rulers of United Equestria.
They immediately took notice of the unconscious unicorn. They knew that she was in bad condition and needed help, fast!
"Let's get her to the hospital wing of the royal palace." Soon their majesties teleported themselves and the girl to the hospital wing. The palace doctors quickly took her in for examination.
"We need to notify Lightning and the others," Grand Ruler suggested.
Queen Celstia nodded in agreement.

Episode 1: The New Unicorn
Meanwhile, Lightning Dawn, a white human-like alicorn with a golden horn was walking down the street in his home, New Ponyville with his best friends:

Rhymey: A poet, song writer and café proprietor, who always spoke in rhyme. ID-Code : XL7Z
The Spanish Twins, Dyno and Myte La Guava: Born on the Planet El Mundo, and the sons of a Starfleet General. Brilliant geologists, expert miners, movers, construction team, and explosive experts: ID Codes, IW8K and JX9L .
Also his long-time fairy friend, Krysta. All of them were part of a powerful, fighting force called Starfleet, who fights to ward off evil, serve justice and protect the galaxy. They each had their own super power to help in battle. While walking and talking with each other, a scroll came in front of Lightning. Lightning picked it up and read it.
Dear Lightning Dawn,
Celestia and I discovered an unconscious unicorn in a clearing. We need you and your friends at New Canterlot Palace as soon as possible.

He gasped.
“Come on everybody, Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia want to see us!” Lightning ordered.
The gang rushed to the palace and entered the throne room where Grand Ruler Celesto and his wife, Queen Celestia, were waiting for them. They all bowed to the two rulers.
“Thank you for coming, everyone." Grand Ruler said.
“So, what's this about finding a unicorn, your majesty?” Artie asked.
“Right. Hours ago, a few of the civilians discovered a female unicorn in the clearing near New Ponyville; She was injured and in poor condition. We’ve brought her to the medical wing, where she is now recovering," Celestia explained.
"Can we see her?" Starla asked.
"Indeed, follow us." Grand Ruler approved. The gang follow the pair into the medical wing.
They entered the recovery room and saw a pink human-like alicorn with a white horn. Her mane and tail were light pink. Her clothes and body were covered in dirt and grim. The hole in the side of her pants showed that she had no cutie mark. Also, the unicorn was covered in bruises and scratches. Bandages were covering her head, arms, legs and torso. She looked like she'd been through a war!
"Ay curumba!,” Dyno cried.
“What happened to her?’” Myte added.
“Will she be okay?” Starla asked.
“I believe that she will make a full recovery.” Grand Ruler replied. Everybody sighed in relief.
Suddenly, the mare began to groan and she opened her eyes and saw other ponies looking at her. "Wh-What happened? Where am I?" The mare asked nervously.
“Don't worry we won't hurt you I’m Lightning Dawn,” Lightning introduced, “and these are my friends: Starla Shine, Buddy Rose, Arite Bristles, Rhymey, Dyno and Myte La Guava and the fairy is Krysta. Finally, the rulers of United Equestria, and Commander and Co-Commander of Starfleet, Grand Ruler Celesto along with his wife Queen Celestia."
“Hello”, “Hola”, “Greetings,” Lighting’s friends, Grand Ruler and Queen Celestia replied.
“H-Hi." The girl greeted back.
"Do you have a name, young one?" Queen Celestia asked. The girl nodded.
"My name is J-Jewel Crystal.” she added nervously.
"How old are you, Jewel?" Grand Ruler asked.
"I'm eighteen years old." Jewel replied Jewel looked nervously at the ponies.
"Um, if I may ask, what's Starfleet?" Jewel asked. "Starfleet is the most powerful fighting force in the universe known for fighting off evil and injustice. Lighting Dawn and his friends are part of Starfleet." Grand Ruler explained. "Okay." Jewel replied.
“Jewel, how did you get so injured?” Starla asked.
“Well, all I remember was that I attacked by two figures. They kept blasting me with their magic which is how I ended up like...this. I saw that one was a big humanoid pony with a red horn, dragon wings and bull horns and the other was a bug like alicorn with holes in her legs.” Jewel explained. The gang was in utter shock and disbelief!
“It cannot be!" Grand Ruler exclaimed.
“I thought we got rid of them!" Starla exclaimed.
“‘Ay Curumba !,” Dyno screamed.
“Not them again!,” Myte said.
Jewel looked at them all confused. “What's the matter?" Jewel asked.
"Jewel...those two ponies who were chasing you were two enemies we thought were gone forever. Their names are.... King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis." Grand Ruler explained.
“Who are King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis?” Jewel asked.
The Grand Ruler explained about King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis to Jewel all the way up to where they destroyed Sombra and imprisoned Chrysalis but he seems to have returned and Chrysalis broke free from prison somehow.
“They won't come after me again, will they?" Jewel asked fearfully.
“No. You are safe here Jewel,” Buddy declared.
"And we won't let them get you. Friends protect friends." Dyno promised.
"We're..... friends?" Jewel questioned.
"Si," Myte added. Jewel smiled. “Now onto more pressing matter. We must place marital laws immediately! Who knows what King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis are planning.” Grand Ruler added.
“Lightning Dawn, after Jewel has recovered from her injuries, I want you and your friends to show Jewel around New Ponyville, her new home.” Queen Celestia said.
Everybody gasped!
"R-Really?!." Jewel asked
"Of course. You'll be living with Lighting and Starla." Queen Celestia added. Lightning and his friends nodded. Jewel smiled with joy.
Meanwhile, high above United Equestria in their very own spaceship, Chysalis and Sombra were in their throne room. The two of them had gained new powers from finding an all powerful orb within the lair. They have made three new minions out of the dark orb's magic.
Carla : A female humanoid eagle with wings that had sharp edges on them.
Swift : A male humanoid cheetah with blinding speed and agilty.
And finally, Bron : A male humanoid bull with deadly ramming power and kicking power.
"Together, my minions, we will make Starfleet pay for all the suffering they caused us!" Sombra and Chrysalis announced. Sombra, Chrysalis and their minions laughed maniacally.
"Finally, we will bring Starfleet to their knees!" Chrysalis added.
In our next episode…
Lightning and the gang show Jewel around New Ponyville. When Jewel starts to show some powerful magic of her own, the gang will have to help her control it.

Episode 11: Part 1: Sword of Animal Spirits
A week had passed and no attacks from Sombra or Chrysalis. Now, it was another peaceful night in New Canterlot and New Ponyville. Wolves were howling in the night and foxes roamed the forest, looking for food. Everybody was fast asleep, except for Princess Luna, who was the keeper of dreams. She made sure nobody has any nightmares at night.
At Lightning and Starla's house, Jewel was sleeping soundly when she started to have a very strange dream.
Jewel was standing in a place with stars all around and a cloud path on the floor.
"Where am I? What is this place?" She asked herself.
Then Twilight's angel appeared in front of her.
"Hello again Jewel."
"Twilight! What are you doing here?" Jewel asked.
"I came here so tell you something very important." Twilight said.
"What is it?" Jewel asked.
"There is a special weapon that you need to retrieve. It is call the Sword of Animal Spirits. It has mythical powers and I believe you are the one who can wield this weapon." Twilight explained.
"So where is it?" Jewel asked.
"It is on the planet Allura. It is home to all kinds of mythical creatures including phoenix's and unicorns."
"Woah. But how will I be able to find the sword?" Jewel asked.
"When you get there a trail of blue gems will appear. Follow them and they will guide you to the Sword of Animal Spirits. There will be many challenges along the way, so you must be careful." Twilight added.
Jewel nodded.
"Good Luck Jewel." With that Twilight disappered and Jewel awoke.
That morning, Jewel told her friends about her dream and the contacted the royal alicorns and Shining Armor. From there, everybody gathered in New Canterlot throne room to discuss. "So, Twilight wants you to go to another planet to obtain a mythical sword that only you can wield?" Lighting summarized.
"Yes." Jewel answered simply.
"But Jewel, you've never been on a space mission before." Starla objected worried.
"While that may be true Starla, Jewel has proved that she can defend herself. I think we should allow her to go." Grand Ruler said. Everybody agreed. In no time, everybody helped Jewel packed for her quest. They gave her a tent, food, water and other essentials. Jewel strapped her backpack on and faced her friends. "Okay guys. This is it." Jewel said nervously.
"You'll be fine Jewel. You have your crown and you know alot of magic to defend yourselves." Queen Celestia reassured. Jewel took a deep breath and calm down. "Right. I'll be fine."
Grand Ruler opened the dimensional pathway to Allura. "Be safe Jewel." He added. Jewel nodded and jumped in to the pathway.
"WOOOOAAAH!" She said. Jewel suddenly landed hard on the ground, in a forest.
"Ouch. That hurt."
After thr pain subsided, Jewel took in the scenery; Sunlight shined through the treetops, rivers flowed smoothly, and flowers sprotted all over the place. Jewel saw all kinds of animals in a clearing up ahead from pheonixes and dragons to unicorns and wolves.
"Woah. Beautiful." She commented.
Walking through the forest towards the animals, Jewel continued to stare at them in wonder. Suddenly, one of the dragons picked up her scent and in no time spotted her. It bared it's teeth at her. Jewel stopped walking and looked at the dragon in fear.
"Ummm.... hi.. I'm Jewel and I was wondering if you could-" Jewel was cut off when the dragon fired it's fire breath at her. Jewel ducked and avoids the hit.
"Who dares enter our kingdom?!" the dragon demanded.
"I-I-I just want your help to-" Jewel tried to explain but the dragon wouldn't have any of it. He roared and charged Jewel. The other animals scattered into the forest.
Jewel turned and ran away as fast as she could. Jewel darted through the trees while the dragon bashed into them, ripping them out of the ground! Jewel began to run to get try and get away. She dodged the attacks but one blasted her and sent Jewel flying!
"Ahhhh!" She screamed.
Jewel began falling to the ground fast she used her magic to slow down a little. She hit the ground hard. Jewel attempted to stand but she felt a tremendous pain in her right ankle when she put pressure on it. Jewel looked and saw a bad bruise on her ankle.
"Not good." Jewel said.
The dragon landed behind Jewel with a furious experssion on it's face. "This will teach you not to enter my kingdom AGAIN! " The dragon raised it's claw and whacked Jewel with it, sending her flying...again. Jewel landed in a clearing out of the forest, in extreme pain and she lost consciousness.
When Jewel regained consciousness, the first thing she noticed was the pain.
"Uh, wh-what happened?" she moaned.
Then she noticed that she was in a differnt part of the forest with fewer trees and less sunlight. Jewel looked over her body and saw that her right arm and left ankle were bandaged. Suddenly, the brush near her began to rustle and a wolf and unicorn appeared before her.
The wolf, had a blue, transparent coat with white stars all over it's body and in the center of it's forehead.
The unicorn, was white with pink swirls on her skin. Also, with a pink mane and tail with flowers on it and a white horn.
"Greetings." The wolf greeted. "My name is Starlight and this is my friends Lyria. We found you unconscious in our territory. Care to tell us your name?" Starlight asked.
"My name is Jewel. I'm from United Equestria, ruled by Queen Celestia and Grand Ruler Celestio. I'm a Starfleet Cadet."
Starlight and Lyria have heard of Starfleet. "How did you get in this condition Jewel? Lyria asked. "All I remeber is this big dragon attacking me and hitting me with its claw and I lost consciousness." Jewel explained.
The pair nodded.
"So why are you here Jewel?" Starlight asked.
"I came here to search for a mythical sword; the Sword of Animal Spirits. I was told that a trail of blue gems will guide me there." Jewel added. Lyria and Starlight could tell the Jewel was completely lost and in need of some help.
"We'll help you find this sword." Lyria declared. Jewel looked at them with a surprised experssion.
"Really?!"
Lyria and Starlight nodded. Jewel smiled at the two of them but the moment was interrupted by her stomach growling. "Hehehe, excuse me. I guess I've worked up an appetite." Jewel said, embarrassed. Lyria giggled.
"No worries young one, we understand you must be hungry." Lyria used her magic to levitate two apples and Jewel's backpack to her. Jewel was so relived to see her backpack was unharmed. "We found your backpack lying next to you. And these apples should full you up." Starlight added.
"Thank you." Jewel thanked.
Jewel ate both of the apples and was full. Then, Jewel saw a blue glow about a yard away. Jewel went to investigate, followed by Lyria and Starlight. Jewel approached the blue glow and saw.....a blue gem, and another, and another. It was a whole tail of blue gems just like Twilight told her about!
"I'm guessing these are the gems that will guide us." Starlight predicted. Jewel nodded.
"Well what are we waiting for let's go!" Lyria exclaimed.
Soon, Jewel, Lyria and Starlight followed the gem path. Jewel leaned against Lyria, to keep from putting pressure on her sprained ankle. The trio came to a river with small rapids in it.
"Looks like we have to cross it." Starlight spoke. Lyria looked at Jewel with worry. "But Starlight, Jewel is in no condition to cross." Lyria objected.
"Can't you carry her across?" Starlight asked.
"The weight might make it harder to make it for me to get across."
"Then, what do we do?" Jewel asked.
"Maybe, I can help." a voice said.
The trio looked around saw soon saw a female dragon, about the same age as Spike, coming out of the bush. The dragon walked on four legs and was aquamarine with white scales on it's neck, back and tail. It also had a dark blue underbelly and light blue wings with white shading.
"Hi! My name is Aqua. I've heard about your problem and I would like to help your friend get across." She offered.
"Um.... Aqua... not to be rude or anything but.... aren't you a little young to be crossing rivers by yourself..... or to be out here alone?" Jewel asked.
"Pffft. I'm just fine on my own. I'm a tough dragon. Plus, I don't have any parents." Aqua replied.
"No Parents?!" The trio repeated in shock.
"Yea, one day I just hatched out of my egg and my parents were no where to be seen. I grew up without them." Aqua explained. The trio was devastated, "but it's okay. Anyway, I love adventures and helping new friends." Aqua added.
"Well Aqua, how would you like to join us on our quest for the Sword of Animal Spirits?" Jewel questioned.
"I would love to. I'm always up for an adventure!" Aqua replied.
Jewel placed in the water and Aqua swam in front of her. "Grab on." Jewel grabbed Aqua's back scales and Aqua paddles across the river, followed by Lyria and Starlight. In no time, the gang of four reached the other side of the river. "Well now, let's continue with our quest." Starlight announced. The others agreed and continued following the blue gem path.
In our next episode episode of Starfleet Magic..... Jewel's quest continues and she meets another friends who helps the gang reach their goal. But, when Swift appears to obtain the sword first, the simple quest turns into a race against the clock.
