It had been 2 months since the Storm King had tried to take over Equestria but was foiled by Twilight Sparkle and her friends although the mane six wouldn't of been able to rid the Storm King forever unless his commander Shadow Tempest had helped them when discovering she was used by the Storm King in hopes his staff would of restored her horn from her childhood.
Since then Canterlot has been rebuilding and gained new allies finding out what happened to the hippogryphs as well as changes in the mane six's social circle. Ever since Tempest turned good she has gotten close to Twilight Sparkle and like Starlight Glimmer has learned about friendship and become friends with many ponies including the Princesses and mane six Twilight in particular. The two have grown so close they decided to try a relationship and see how it goes. Tempest had become quite protective of Twilight since they started dating and anytime a stallion or mare tried to make a move on Twilight she would simply spark her horn making them back away. However as time went on Twilight was able to calm her so she wouldn't resort to violence as easily and scare ponies with her horn.
It had been and very busy day in Equestria The mane six along with Starlight and Sunburst had just returned Starswirl and the other legends of Equestria back to the present day as Twilight and the others had just returned to ponyville to rest as a pony came running over to the group of friends.
"Twilight I hate to bother you but I saw Tempest walking towards your castle she seemed tensed up or something but she wouldn't talk to anypony" Time Turner said fear in his eyes since no pony wanted Tempest to return to her old ways and also Tempest hadn't been around ponyville often or talked to many other ponies beside Twilight and her freinds.
"Thanks for telling me Time Turner I'll go talk to her see what's up"" Twilight responded kindly looking back at Spike and the others.
"Don't worry Twilight darling we'll come along in a few minutes give you two time to talk we know she's still regretting her past and it would be best for you two to talk before we arrive" Rarity said calmly as the others nodded getting a huge from Twilight as she galloped towards her castle hoping Tempest would be there.
Tempest was indeed in the castle in the map room looking over Ponyville as she looked down putting her hoof on her still broken horn sighing loudly as she got lost in her thoughts again.
"What if those ponies where right and I am a freak still and will never truly get a friend or anything else after what I have done in Equestria" Tempest thought shaking her head looking confidently up her horn sparking slightly as she did.
Twilight arrived at the palace seeing some lights come from the map rooms balcony as she started to panic running though the palace towards the map room seeing the library stacked with books in the floor as she sighed walking towards the door.
"No Twilight! Books later Marefriend first she needs me" Twilight said mentally slapping herself as she pushed the crystal door open seeing A dark purple furred mare on the balcony as she walked towards her seeing she didn't have her amour on.
"Tempest is everything alright I just heard from Time Turner you came here looking stressed is everything alright. Twilight asked gently as she pressed her body against hers to give her some comfort knowing when Tempest is troubled having her there helps her.
"I'm fine Twilight just heard something about Starswirl and some shadow pony so wanted to come check you where safe and not in danger" Tempest said still looking over Ponyville looking up to the moon and the stars now rubbing her hoof on the crystal floor as she spoke.
"Fizzlepop Berrytwist I know when something is bothering you we've been friends for 2 months and dating for a few weeks I know your still learning but you can talk to me" Twilight said using her real name knowing it makes her listen to Twilight as Tempest looked to her for the first time since they met Twilight saw tears in her marefriends eyes.
"Tempest sweet Celestia what happened to make you so upset" Twilight gasped not seeing Tempest like this before seeing her shut her eyes and turn away from Twilight as the moon started to shine on the two of them like a spotlight.
"I'm a freak Twilight why would you or anypony want to be my friend never mind my partner" Tempest said tears dripping off her cheek to the floor making Twilight back up as she saw her friends about to walk in till she put her hoof up to stop them coming in.
"Tempest what would make you think like that ever since I met you you've been confident and strong what would make you think your a freak" Twilight said holding Tempest's hoof.
"A group of ponies talked to me early today" Tempest sighed looking at her Marefriend in the eyes making her tilt her head and raise a eyebrow confused.
"Er Tempest how would talking to a group of ponies affect you this much I've seen you with my friends, family and princesses and you maybe of been nervous yes but always polite and kind to them heck even my brother likes you and I thought he would hate you after..." Twilight stopped not wanting to bring "him" up since she knew it was still fresh and painful for Tempest to talk about.
"Wow never thought your brother would like me but these ponies well they called me a freak because of my horn and told me I would never make friends or even find a partner to be with" Tempest said making Twilight gasp as did the others from the door as Twilight nuzzled her marefriend to comfort her.
"Tempest your not a freak I can't believe anypony would call you that I lov..." Twilight stopped herself again biting her lip and tensing up from what she almost let slip but she saw Tempest move and look at Twilight smiling slightly.
"I love you too you silly mare don't be afraid to confess it love" Tempest said hugging Twilight as she looked up to her.
"Your no freak to me Tempest I love you and like I said at the friendship festival your horn is very powerful just like the pony who has it and I think it makes you even more special" Twilight said kissing Tempests horn making her smile and blush as she hugged Twilight seeing there friends walk in and join the hug.
"So what else your family say about me Twilight" Tempest smirked making everyone chuckle besides Twilight as she lit her horn and gave a small flame on the top of Tempests horn.
"Will that be enough not to tell you Fizzlepop Berrytwist" Twilight smirked making Tempest push her playfully.
"You know you love Tempest better Twi" Tempest teased as they both cuddled hearing Pinkie Pie shout
"Still the best name ever!!"

I haven't done a fanfic in a while but since I watched the new MLP Movie I ship these two so much I decided to do a small fanfic and see how it gose if people want more I'll try do more and any helpful advice is happily taken enjoy your day everypony
