Chapter 9 part 2, Her Name Is Sunset

I slammed the door shut. This moment I learned how it felt to feel a combination of rage, lust, and disbelief. It wasn't pretty. I growled and punched a hole through the pillow, sending feathers scattering all over the place. My breathing was ragged as I tried to comprehend the situation.

'She was dancing around,' said my other half, growling.

'No sh:pinkiesick:t, Sherlock.'

'Shut up, human, I'm still superior than you, don't you forget!'

'Whatever. Why are we even sulking over her? There's a bunch of other people out there who can easily outmatch her.'

'She's our mate, dammit! She's one of a kind, and you know it!'

'All I know is it's our thing, to tail on the booty of every hot chic.'

'So you're saying she's hot?'

'Yes, dodo, now f:twilightoops:ck off, will you? I got some anger management to attend to.'

And with that, I started punching the pillow over and over, but it was never that feral. My other half had simply calmed me down through nonsense talk.

'You cunning piece of sh:flutterrage:t,' I snarled mentally at her.

'It was the only way, now leave me alone,' and with that said, she cut off the link between us and went about her own business.

'Better not be p:rainbowwild:rn in there!'

'F:ajbemused:ck off!'

And she totally cut it off this time. I sighed angrily and plopped on my bed, which turned out a nuisance as feathers quickly engulfed me. I bolted upright and waved them off, cussing some more. Maybe running would let off my steam.

There's a party downstairs.

Ugh, I just skipped party because of her... Should I be worried? Nah.

Maybe smoking would do the trick. I think I have a pack of cigarettes in the drawers. I quickly searched for it and found my stress reliever. I then looked for something to light it up, and found a lighter on the half filled bookshelf. I lit the cigarrete and opened my window to let the smoke leave my vicinity, but my mind wandered to what had transpired earlier. Maybe someday I'd understand what it's really like to have your other half, but for now...

I still have that hard-on from earlier. D:facehoof:mn, why did she have to be so sexy? I'm gonna have to deal with that later, perhaps in the bathroom. I don't want my aunt and uncle get suspicious if they get stained of my love juice.

I sighed and puffed smoke rings. Yep... Someday, I'll know.

"Twilight, hang on!" Rainbow and the others followed said girl, who seemed to be heading nowhere in particular, which seemed odd because of all people, you'd think she would've had a plan B in case this ever happened.

But then again, who could predict what just happened?

Twilight ran and ran, trying to get away from the now monstrous mansion, still feeling that tingle the girl she'd left behind gave her. The butterflies in her stomach never ceased as she tumbled her way around the large vicinity. She was now in some sort of garden, still inside the lawn of the Shimmer residence, when she heard thuddering footsteps headed towards her. For a moment, paranoia clutched her, fearing it might be Sunset following her, but then unintentionally sighed in relief upon seeing her friends, Rainbow and Pinkie leading the pack.

"You plannin' to leave without us, Twi," asked Rainbow Dash, who stood right beside Twilight, not even breaking a sweat from the long run.

"Oh, hey, Rainbow," Twilight greeted, and as soon as the others caught up as well, the spectrum-haired girl snorted.

"Like that's even an answer," she rolled her eyes.

Fluttershy stopped to catch her breath, though the others looked fine, almost like Rainbow who didn't even pant.

"I wasn't planning on leaving you guys," Twilight averted her gaze to the side, away from her friends' eyes.

"Then why'd ya run like that, sugar cube," Applejack skeptically asked, but then felt empathetic just looking at her.

"I... I don't know." Well, that wasn't really a complete lie...

"Darling, something is bothering you, we see it clear as day. Would you be so kind as to tell us what's wrong? We hate to see you like this and can't do anything about it," Rarity consoled and placed her hand on Twilight's.

A low growl emitted from Applejack as she glared at the sight of Rarity's hand on another woman other than her, only audible to Rarity herself, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. A harsh nudge to her side broke her from her reverie and Applejack looked sheepish.

'Sorry, delta,' she apologized to Rainbow.

'Don't apologize,' she replied and turned back to Twilight.

"I... I... W-well..." Twilight looked at the faces of her friends, fidgeting her fingers nervously.

"Well, spit it out, silly!" Pinkie slid beside Twilight and side-hugged her for comfort.

Twilight visibly calmed down a bit, but then she was still nervous. What would she say to her friends?

1) The truth
2) ‎An excuse
3) ‎Say nothing and leave
