Since the beginning of time, there has been darkness. From the darkness came Legendary assassins. Nightblades.Nightblades can summon blood red blades to do incredible damage to their enemies and do so much more with the power of darkness. The last of these Nightblades currently resides in Ponyville.

By the name of Spike, our dark hero lives as a assistant to princess Twilight Sparkle in her castle of friendship. But when duty calls nothing stands in his wake. One night when he is with his mother Princess Celestia, Spike learns that she frequently cries herself to sleep because of how much she misses her sister, Princess Luna. When the opportunity arises to save Luna from Nightmare Moon to reunite her with her sister, Spike jumped on the opportunity. Little did he know that he would have Nightmare Moon leaked into his brain. Everything is fine for Spike after reuniting them, except the voice in his head that criticizes every thing he does.
