Enter The Dragon...Layer
Intermission: Heads up!
Previous Chapter"So...y-you figured out what's going on?" Spike asked once he finally got over Luna's 'hung like a yak' comment - judging from the way she was smiling, it must've been a good thing, though he still curled his tail up around himself.
Luna took a seat in front of him, not that worried about her clothes straining on her figure. "Well, 'Tia and I discussed the circumstances, and it's just too much of a coincidence that this happened right after Twilight tested her new spell. We have a feeling that it's somehow involving you."
Spike recoiled a bit. "Me!? But-!"
She held up a hand to stop him. "Not directly or intentionally, we know. Unfortunately, we don't have the evidence to explain how, or why."
Spike exhaled. "Ok...so, does that mean whatever turned you all into dragonesses is making them all act funny?"
Luna gave a so-so gesture. "In a way, yes and no. Dragonesses are...how do I explain this...for one thing, dragons, especially dragonesses, have a different idea of modesty. I take it Tempest was already dressed like this when you encountered her?"
"Yeah, she didn't really see anything off since she had her bracers and shinguards on."
"Well, that's dragon modesty; to them, naked means wearing absolutely nothing. As long as they have something resembling an article of clothing on, regardless of where it's worn, or how much it covers, they aren't naked. Suffice to say, there'll be a bit of skin-er, scales getting showed off in the meantime." Luna fidgeted a little. "That brings up something else...concerning you to a high degree; you're Ponyville's only male dragon."
"And...?" He had a feeling the answer wasn't quite what he was expecting.
"To put it bluntly, you're going to be catching the eye of a fair number of unattached girls." She looked in the direction of the palace, "Them, especially."
"Come again?"
"You heard and saw the wingboners, Spike. If a mare's had any attraction to you, becoming a dragon is going to bring that to the forefront with a vengeance."
"Wait...but you and Celestia..." His face turned bright red.
"Oh, believe me when I personally say I'd love to ride you like a manticore right now, but I need to prioritize."
"I...I see." He found himself rather glad that he was lacking pants now, or things would be uncomfortable.
Luna adjusted her top, muttering about how snug it was now. "One other thing you should be aware of is this is going to slightly affect the girl's personalities in a way. Nothing dangerous, but it may catch you offguard. This'll also pertain to why Tempest here was rather...well, submissive." She fidgeted a bit more visibly this time.
Spike looked at the still slumbering dragon. "Still wondering about that."
"You see, the stronger dragonesses, mostly thanks to attitude and sometimes being a bit more aggressive than need be, had a tendency to intimidate mates into being unable to perform, an issue that forced them to try and act meeker in the bedroom to negate their mate's 'performance anxiety'. Meanwhile the weaker, or more timid, ones would be so eager and/or pent up for a mate that they would get unexpectedly aggressive in the bedroom. In a way, it's basically ingrained into them on a genetic level. Hence, our friend's change in demeanor, and why you should be aware until we can figure out what happened."
He fought down the urge to groan. While he personally would've loved the idea of girls having a thing for him, he didn't really plan on it being quite like this. "So I can't really just find a place to hide then?"
"Not really. A dragoness in heat has a VERY good nose when she knows what her target smells like." Luna replied. "Now that we've got that out of the way..." Her horn-turned-crest began glowing, followed by her clothes vanishing in a flash of blue light.
"L-Luna!" Spike fell backwards when he saw her dress was now gone, and she was slowly crawling towards him.
"Being a dragon is making this thousand year dry spell feel like fifteen hundred." Her voice was now a husky growl. "And I'm thirsty as hell!"
"Be gentle!?" He yelped when she pounced him.
