The battle of the Abysmal Abyss
The skies over the Palace of the Two Sisters lit up as a brilliant red flare of light slammed into it's western wall. Vaporizing many of the bricks. Shrieks and cries could be heard from the Everfree forest as hundreds of ponies from the near by settlements attempted to get into the relative safety of the palace walls. Another volley of screeching light whizzed across the sky. A bolt of gold intercepted it, and it exploded raining pickles down on the fleeing ponies. Two bolts of light shot out of the gabbing hole, one gold the other midnight blue. Celestia and Luna flew out into the night after their magical bolts of light. Both princesses of Equestria already robed in their armor. The magical bolts exploded at the edge of the forest illuminating the night.
"Discord." The two princesses stopped putting themselves between their fleeing subject and the king of chaos.
"The one and only." A mix match Frankenstein creature appeared out of a rip in reality. His body was elongated like a snake he had the head of a horse, with a horn and an antler. "Hello Celestia and Luna. How kind of you to come and greet me."
"Discord, we shall only warn you once leave." Celestia's horn was engulfed in the magical aura which soon spread over her entire body. "Leave and never return to this place."
"Leave, aw come now How could I leave the daughters of Day and Night alone? I'm a lot of things, cruel included, but I'm certainly not a good neighbor." Discord snapped his fingers, both alicorns prepared to reflect bolts of chaos. Instead a measuring cup appeared in the chaos king's talon. "So can I borrow a cup of sugar." Celestia let loose a volley of her magic. Discord caught it in his measuring cup. "Thank you, I can't tell you how difficult it is to get a cup of sugar at this hour." A chief's hat appeared on his head. Luna and Celestia pulled away, weary of what Discord was plotting. "A cup of unbridled alicorn fury. A dash of untamable nature." Discord plucked some leaves from one of the trees of Everfree. "And a liberal sprinkling of unadulterated chaos." Discord poured nearly a third of his essence into the measuring cup. "And what do you get? I don't know let's find out!"
Discord hurled the measuring cup at the two alicorns. Celestia and Luna summoned a shield; the cup and it's content exploded in a blinding light, upon contact with their shield. The light faded quickly, and there flying in-between Discord and the two alicons was bright purple pegasus pony. He was the size of a colt, and bore a cutie mark of a burning pile of scrolls.
"Oh neat, so that's what happens when you mix a little alicorn magic with a metric ton of chaos." The pegasus looked over his shoulder at Discord his pupils were X's. "Hello little guy and you are you."
"Hello Daddy Discord. I am Bedlam."
"Hello Bedlam could you do your Daddy Discord a tinny tiny favor." The pegasus colt grinned and nodded. "Good I need you to distract Luna there while I deal with her sister. When you're finished feel free to do what ever pops into that beautiful chaotic head of yours."
"So who's the lucky mare." Bedlam looked between the two alicorns, grinning when his eyes locked onto Luna's cutie mark. "You're coming with me Moon Butt." Bedlam's magic engulfed the two of them and they vanished in a flash of bright purple.

The two reappeared over a mountain.
"Where have you taken us? We demand an answer." Luna readied her horn. Bedlam looked at her flatly.
"I've brought us to the Abysmal far to the west of your lands and well out of range of your sister. Don't worry about her though Daddy Discord will take care of that. And don't try to teleport away either; I'm not going to let you get away."
"Insolent cur We will not allow you to escape our judgement." Luna fired a bolt of magic at Bedlam who shielded himself with his wings, and deflected the bolt to the ground. Which erupted into flames. beneath them. Bedlam whistled. "You shall regret siding with Discord. Though you appear as a colt we know what you truly are abomination, and we shall not permit you to exist."
"I'm sorry I don't recall ever asking your permission." Bedlam's eyes began spinning as bolts of chaos were shot at Luna who put up a shield between her and the chaos spawn's volleys. The chaos magic exploded against Luna's shield, and caused tar to rain down on blaze below. "Fine if you won't just take a blast to the face and die the easy way. Then I guess, I'll just have to do this the old fashion way." Bedlam dove down into the blaze below, using the rising smoke from the tar fires as cover while he blasted bolt after bolt of magic at the alicorn up above. Luna's midnight blue shield went up as bolt after bolt of Purple chaos magic exploded into it.
"Enough. We shall endure this no longer." Luna's horn lit up as her shield vanished. Bolts of chaos magic whizzed passed the alicorn grazing her magically imbued armor. Luna let loose the shot and instantly the fires below were snuffed out, and the smoke was quickly expelled by a torrent of gale force winds.
"What the?" Bedlam looked up as Luna loosed another spell down on the chaos spawn beneath her he soared upward just in time to avoid it. "Missed."
"No, we were not aiming for you." Deep Blue chains so dark they were nearly black erupted from the ground binding Bedlam and pulling him down to the mountain Luna slowly descended. Looking down on the pegasus colt as he struggled to get free from the magical chains. "You sought to destroy our peace. and attempted harm on the royal body. You are an agent of chaos and now we sentence you to your fate."
"You can't destroy me."
"No but we can imprison you." Luna's horn lit up, it she charged the spell for a full minute before loosing the magic down on Bedlam. The mountain split in two the fissure going deep into the earth beneath. A swift and chaotic eternal gale soon filled the void insuring he'd never escape his prison. Luna looked to the east and vanished in a flash of blue.
