Chapter 1 (The Shady down fall)
Ash Tray was sleeping in her bed around 7pm, suddenly her alarm went off, "Beep, beep, beep, bee-" finally it was struck down as the force was equivalent to falling leaves however it stopped beeping, Ash Tray slowly leaned up while rubbing her tired eyes.
"What ( yawn ) time is it?" She said tiredly while slowly turning her head towards her clock, her eyes went as wide as dinner plates when she what time it was ( 7:05pm ) "Oh no! I'm gonna be late!" She leapt out of bed bug forgot gravity was there and landed with a heavy "thud" on the wooden floor boards "O-ow" she said as she grunted in pain.
She raced down the stairs where her father was getting ready for his job, as he was buttoning his jacket he saw her and smiled lightly.
"Running a little late my daughter?" He said with a little smile "Your clothes are in kitchen and breakfast is ready." He added still smile.
"Sorry I overslept!" She apologised.
"It's no worry really we all oversleep sometimes, I'll meet you at the bar." He said keeping his smile.
"Alright!" She said as she hurried into the kitchen and went and got dressed while having some toast with some jam on it then bolted ( and locked ) out the door.
As she ran past ponies, some who wanted to say hello while others were almost pushed through and nearly feel and one who got scared and jumped onto a lamppost.
She had finally reached her destination the Shady down fall, it was a white three floored building with a few cracks in the paint and some that showed the bricks, the glowing sunset red light sign, it had ivy around the sides of the building and the bouncer in front of the night club, there were brown wooden tables outside with some Ash trays, she really liked the bouncer since he always helped the employees with drunk slums hanging around it and was incredibly nice towards her and told her to be careful ( yeah he's a kind of a dip-shit ).
As she went inside Ash Tray could already tell it would be a long night since the most flirtatious and desperate of all the ponies in ponyville Surfing Turf, ( He's one of my OC's ) he would always say that red sun glasses were the best. He was light tanned Pegasus with a brown mane ( Like Kaito's from danganronpa ) his tail was actually a sandy colour, he always would wear red squared sun glasses and his cutie mark was a Japanese wave with a sunset, he also wore a wave blue jacket. He was desperate for a mare friend, Ash Tray would know since he'd tried flirting with her before and the response with her running a way and with a Pegasus broken hearted however she didn't know much about him their were also rumours about him that he was an ex convict or a surfing champion.
"Un tubular man this totally bogus!" ( I can't resist a good surfer's voice hehe) he shouted which made Ash Tray flinch in terror.
"I'm sorry sir but you are not allowed in hear due to all the complaints, please take my apologie." Safehouse said with caution.
"Come on man just give me more chance!" He begged and almost started kneeling to him.
"No sir I've been told by my manager that you are not allow-." He was interrupted by the pony behind the counter near the bottle of beer, vodka, lager etcetera.
"Just give him one more chan-." This time he was interrupted by Surfing Turf.
"Radical man!" He shouted in glea which was met with Ash Tray knocking over a stool.
"Oops sorry hehe." She blushed slightly.
"Ahh good your hear the only ones hear are me, the bouncer, Surfing Turf and that pink mare over there." He pointed to an pink earth pony with a flat mane and had three balloons for a cutie mark in the corner of the room.
"Yeah I came to scope and mares who want a piece of this hehe." He said pridefully while Soda Pops ( Ash Tray's father ) rolled his eyes, Safehouse scoffed lightly due to having listened one to many times hearing that quote and Ash Tray just blinked while the mare in corner laid back into foam sofa in the corner of the room.
"Anyway." Soda Pops continued "You can only stay if you-." He was interrupted again.
"Yeah I'll to agree no matter what dude!" He said in happiness.
"-Don't flirt with any of the mares including Ash Tray got it?" He continued.
The face Surfing Turf was mixed with confusion, shock and with something unreadable, he started picking something out of his jacket pocket and pulled out cigar and a lighter and approached the door.
"Where ya going son?" Soda pops said in confusion.
"Awww man, well I'm gonna go smoke ok." He said while opening the door.
"Want anything to drink beer, lager, vodka?" He said with a slight glare in his eyes.
"I'll take an X seventeen dude." He said with same glare in his eyes.
"Coming up sir." Soda Pops said.
As soon as Surfing Turf went outside a lot of ponies started coming inside which was met with Safehouse blocking them and forcing them into a single file line.
"Name?" Safehouse to the mare with his two front hooves crossed together.
"Carrot Top." Said the lightly yellow mare.
Safehouse took out a paper list and looked to find her name, he found it under Lyra's
"Your in." He said removing the red rope. "Name?" He said to the colt.
"Umm..." He looked as suspicious as hell. "Mountain Wall." He said after a long pause.
Safehouse looked at his list and looked at the colt who sheepishly smiled at him, after another long pause Safehouse spoke up "Your not on list so go away please." He said a calm voice, the colt walked away sulking as a wimp.
Meanwhile inside the Shady down fall
It was actually a pretty normal day for Ash Tray there usually colts near the stripper ( yes it's one of those clubs ), colts and mares near the bar, some ponies were smoking outside while some mares were making out non drunk and drunk, the asshole who'd always tried to start something, the mare by glance who'd you could already was a slut and was, the Emo who would be in the dark corner complaining about life is stupid, the couple who were just there to see how long they can last without loseing their lunch and that fuckin snob who'd complain how anyone could live like this and yet was liked anyway.
"Hey can I be served?" Said a colt sat at a table.
Ash Tray's job was to serve ponies yet she absolutely hated it not that did whose know what with her, no she hated it due to she liked not be talked to or flirted with and get her to tell you how many times she was flirted with. She came towards the colt and Bon Bon and Lyra kissing they were regulars and came her almost everyday expect their wedding day.
"Yes what can I get you?" She asked him nicely.
"Yeah can I have a root beer and with some curly fries please?" He said in the almost polite way except 5 cents short.
"A root beer with some curly fires got it." She said with a smile as she jotted his order down on a note pad.
Ash Tray was walking back to the bar only to be stopped by the pink mare only now her man was poofy.
"Hi my name is Pinkie Pie!" This made Ash Tray jump into the air, ( thankfully no one was watching ) as she looked at Pinke Pie she was met with a barrage with questions. "What's your favourite colour? Why do you work here? Do you like cake? Aw what am I talking about everyone loves cake!" With so many questions she thought her head was about to explode what she didn't the question about her name which shocked her only Safehouse, her parents, her friends and Surfing Turf knew. "Oh silly me you have a job to do, well don't let me stop you.." She leaned and said "Ash Tray." Then she started bouncing off back to her seat.
It took a two minutes or three minutes before she told Soda Pops the colts order.
15 minutes later she came back with a smile as she gave the colt his order.
"Please enjoy your meal sir." She said as she winked at him, she screamed mentally at her self for doing so but the colt was oblivious to her wink.
9:34pm it was break time for her and another waitress.
"Aw crap I forgot something stay here ok?" The other waitress asked her, Ash Tray nodded as the waitress went back inside. As Ash Tray waited for her to come back she had her eyes covered by two pink hooves.
"Guess whooo?" The same voice whom she heard earlier. "Come on guess!" The mare called
Ash Tray just guessed "um Pinkie Pie?" She hoped she was right.
"Yep!" As Pinkie Pie gave her a giant hug, in which Ash Tray thought she was going to suffocate to death.
"P-please let me go." She said as she was running out of air.
After what seem only seconds it felt like minutes to Ash Tray, Pinkie Pie spoke up.
" Follow me I have to show you some down that alley way." She said as she pointed to a pitch black alley way which made Ash Tray's whole body shiver.
Ash Tray shook her head and said "Sorry but I have to decline your offer I have to wait here for someone." She said but until looking at Pinkie Pie who had tears coming down in buckets.
"You "choke" don't want come with me, even though I gone through the trouble of getting you a gift? Is it because you hate me well that's ok I guess?" She said choking and sniffing.
Ash Tray couldn't see anyone like that ever so she changed her answer. "Maybe she can wait so I guess I could come with you if that's alright with you?" She asked the crying mare.
Pinkie Pie jumped up and down in delight and the squeezed Ash Tray like plushie toy. "Yaaaaay!!" She screamed in joy which made Ash Tray flinch.
"Alright follow me!" She said as she ran into the dark alley way.
"H-hey wait up please!" She said as she tried to keep up with Pinkie Pie.
As she went into alley she looked around it, some wanted posters were decaying as well a netted was on the right.
"H-hello Pinkie Pie? Anyponie here!" She screamed getting scared out of her mind.
"Hello!" Said a voice, Ash Tray tried to see who it was only it was too late as she struck on the head with a baseball bat, it went down on her head with a mighty "thwack!"
"(Huff, puff) finally its time to get to work." Said a voice in which the moonlight shined past the darkness to reveal a pink mare with a flat mane and tail.
