Episode 1

Location: Neo Canterlot. Time: 2017 years after Nightmare Moon incident.

A pony wearing a brown cloak and a brown sun-hat stepped out of a sleek silver train. The pony walked out of the station and walked onto a bridge that lead to Neo Canterlot: a large city on the edge of a mountain and protected by a large glass sphere. He approached the entrance of the city. The entrance a large golden arc with two royal guards standing at the opening. The pony approached the guards. "Holt!" the one on the left said to the pony. "State your business!"

The pony looked up at the two. He had dark brown eyes and a yellow coat. "I'm here to see the new artifact Celestia and Luna are gonna show off in the castle." He said.

The one on the right loomed over to the one on the left. "Scan him to make sure hes not a changeling or something." The one on the left pulled out a device that resembled a price scanner. He held it towards the pony and wave it around his body. It started beeping and shined a green light. "He's clean." The guard then retracted the device and stepped aside. "Just don't steal anything or you'll be in shackles."

"Yes sir." He walked past them into the city. He looked around his surroundings. Large clean buildings with large letters that glowed with neon lights spelled their names. 'Canterlot Cafe,' 'Cinema Central Theater', and so on and so forth. He then stumbled upon a lone wooden stand in between 'McHooves' and 'Hayburger Queen'. The stand as poorly built with nails that stuck out of its uneven wooden planks. The entire thing looked like it could fall any second. A wooden board on top had the name 'Z's Potions' written it with black paint. A zebra stood behind the counter. Around him were bottles filled with different kinds of unknown liquid. They were filled with blue liquid, red liquid, green, yellow, purple, aqua, cyan, and many more. "Hello there sir!" He yelled with enthusiasm. "Welcome to my potion shop. I have potions for super strength, hyper reflexes, enhanced durability, fast healing, all made by me; Z! Short for Ziggy Zebra! What would you like?"

"Uh..."

He zipped out of the stand faster then a humming bird and rested his front left hoof on the pony's shoulder. "Maybe a love potion is what you need. Hmm? Looking for that lucky mare?"

"No. I mean... not yet..."

"Then maybe X-ray vision? All that waiting for the perfect mare can make you sexually deprived. You can use X-ray vision to look into the mare's bathroom and w-"

"We're naked anyways."

"Oh. Okay. Then how about super smarty potion?"

"Ignorance is bliss."

"Your right. Who needs to be a boring book pony anyways?"

"Look. I'll give you 100 bits so you can get some decent repairs on your stand. That thing's a health hazard." He gave him a small sack filled with the golden coins.

"Oh. Thank you." He took the sack. "I do admit I'm not the best at construction work." He gave the pony a bottle filled with blueish-green liquid. "Here. Have a health potion on the house."

The pony took the bottle and placed it inside a pocket on his cloak. "Thanks. I'll use it if i need to." He walked away. "Have a good day." He walked through the clean streets. Many ponies walked past him, all in a hurry to witness what their two princesses had to show them. He kept a calm pace. He'll get there eventually. The presentation wasn't going to start for at least another half an hour.

He walked past a open garage before he heard cranking a somepony yelling. "Stupid bolt!" He heard the pony yell. It sounded female. Around his age. He walked backwards and looked into the garage. The inside had a concrete floor and grey metal walls covered with tools and posters of vehicles hanging off of them. He looked forward and saw a half-built car being held by four rusty chains that hung from the sealing. He looked underneath the car and saw two tan hooves poking out from under it. "Get in there!" He heard the pony yell again. He then heard some sort of creaking noise. He looked up and say the two chains that were holding the front of the car were about to break. He quickly grabbed the pony's legs and pulled her away just before the chain broke, sending the front of the car crashing down into the hard floor.

He looked down and looked at the pony he just saved. She had a tan coat, a horn, a gear for a cutie mark, and a long, curly, dirty blond mane. He helped her up to her hooves. "Are you alright?"

The mare brushed her mane and nodded her head. "Yeah. Thanks for preventing me from becoming road kill." She gasped when she saw the condition of the vehicle. It's entire front end was crumpled into the ground and it's windshield was scattered across the floor. "Ah crap! My latest project! Oh well, I didn't have anything better to do with my time."

"There's a presentation in Canterlot Castle."

"Oh! I forgot!" She galloped off towards the castle. "Name's Bronze Gear! See you latter!"

He shook his head and calmly walked towards the castle. He arrived at the entrance about 20 minutes later. The floor was covered by a red carpet than stretched through the main hall and ended at a lite stage. He walked along the carpet and glanced at the the stained glass windows. Each window told a story from Equestria's past. One showed Princess Celestia defeating Nightmare Moon and saving her sister: Luna. Another showed Celestia and Luna fighting back the Wendigos who brought a vast ice strom behind them. There was even one that showed Celestia receiving the largest cake in Equestrian history.

He approached a crowd of around 30 to 50 ponies gathered around the stage. All chattering with both anticipation and enjoyment. He blended with the crowd, careful not to step on anypony's tail or block their view.

"Hey there stranger!" He looked over and saw Z standing next to him. "Fancy meeting you here."

"It's kind of obvious seeing how everypony gathered in one place."

"True, true. I brought a dear friend with me."

Bronze Gear poked her head out from behind Z. "Hi yah." She cheered.

"I told her how kind you were and then she told me about what you did in her garage. Thanks for saving my best friend's life by the way."

"Me and Z go way back into preschool. He was the first Zebra to attend Ponyvile Pre."

"That's nice." Said the pony. He wasn't really paying attention to them. He was waiting for the presentation to start.

A guard stepped onto the stage and blew a brass horn. "Attention citizens! Presenting their highnesses: Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.

The crowd stomped their hooves in applause as Celestia and Luna walked onto the stage. Celestia had a beautiful dress that matched her flowing aurora mane both with it's color and ability to move like the northern lights. Luna was wearing a dress that also matched her mane and had the same flow. "Thank you Sir Steel Shield." Said Princess Celestia with her calming motherly voice. Her mane covered her left eye for some reason. "We are gathered here to celebrate the 2017th anniversary of Nightmare Moon's defeat and my beloved sister's rescue from her dark influence." Luna bowed as the crowd cheered. "And we are here for another reason. Our excavation team found this in an abandoned castle west of the Everfree Forest." Four earth ponies pulled a metal table carrying a large object covered by a black sheet onto the stage. They then pulled back the sheet and revealed a large purple crystal. "This crystal was discovered inside the top on the castle. It is believed that it was used by Starswirl The Bearded to study magic. We also believe it can be used to increase our nations energy storage for another 1000 years. It just needs a little spark from a powerful unicorn. Or in this case, me and my sister Luna."

The crowd cheered again as Celestia and Luna approached the crystal. They pointed their long horns towards it and illuminated them with their gorgeous gold and purple ora. The lights zapped the crystal, resulting in it to glow in a dark purple light. The light in the crystal glowed brighter and brighter. "I-I can't stop sister!" Luna alarmed Celestia.

"I can't either!" Celestia yelled. The crowd gasped after hearing the frightening news. "Everypony! Get to cov-" Before she could warn them; the crystal exploded, blasting back the alicorn sisters and sending shards towards the crowd.

Episode 2.

The crowd of ponies screamed as the shards of crystal rained down towards them. All of the unicron royal guards in the room used their magic to catch the shards before they could touch anypony and threw them to the side. The crowd looked towards the stage. The princesses were on laying on the ground. They showed no savior damage, but were takin back by the force of the blast. Smoke rose from the origin of the blast. After a few seconds; the smoke cleared, revealing two ponies. One standing and one laying on the ground. The one standing had a long black cloak with purple lines on it's edges. The other pony was a black mare. She had a long black mane with purple frosted tips with a long tail that matched. Her cutie mark looked like the night sky, with stars scattered along the purple haze. Her horn wasn't like any other unicorn's. It was curved with a sharp tip that was as purple as the ends of her mane.

The one in the cloak walked to the middle of the stage. "Nothing like a nice long nap forced upon you by your daughter to build your strength up." His voice was deep and menacing. He looked around, then down at the ponies. Some of them were holding up their touchscreen phones with the back ends facing the cloaked pony. "So much has changed in the last 1500 years. New faces, new structure..." He looked towards the two princesses struggling to stand. "Ah. Where are my manners? I would bow, but I won't." He pulled back the hood of his cloak. His head was the shape of a stallion, but he had two red horns sticking our of the back corners of his skull, his eyes were green with reptilian irises, and his teeth were sharp. The crowd gasped when they saw his face. "Don't be alarmed. This is just evolution."

"Who are you?" Asked Celestia.

"You mean you don't remember Starswirl's old student? I guess you kept that little peace of history under raps from your subjects. Vary well. I am Void. As I said; I studied magic with the grey-bearded wizard you all know. He wanted to use magic to bring ponies together in love and friendship. Stupid old fool. I wanted to bring out the inner greatness that ponies possess. Sadly; ponies themselves are too weak to do so. So I used my studies to combine my power with that of gods! My face changed as a result. But now I can control space itself. I was going to show you two my power as soon as it was complete, but my daughter had other planes." He walked towards the other pony. "She decided to lock me away, but she didn't think that she would be imprisoned as well. Young ones often jump instead of walking on the bridge." He stopped in front of the pony. She slowly lifted her head and opened her purple eyes. "I'll set an example by using my power to silence you!" He lowered his head as the two horns on the back of his head glowed in a red aura. Before Void could deliver his fatal blow, the pony in the brown cloak leaped onto the stage, lifted the unicorn mare into his front hooves, and jumped back. His hat fell to the floor. "You wish to die with her!?"

The pony lifted his head. He had a yellow coat, a red-tinted black mane, and brown eyes. "Father daughter time is up." He said.

"Humor will not save you!" He blasted him with a red beam of energy. The yellow pony jumped over the beam, making it misfire and hit the floor. He then jumped towards Void, his front right hoof pulled back. His hoof suddenly ignited in a ball of flame. He punched Void in his left cheek with the flaming hoof. Voit stumbled back, holding his cheek with a claw instead of a hoof. "What magic is this?" The yellow pony tossed his cloak away, showing the rest of his yellow coat, lack of wings, a shortly cut tail with the same color as his mane, and a cutie mark that looked like a red diamond surrounded by four red curvy lines. "You're just an earth pony! You shouldn't have any magic."

"Tell me about it."

"I'll just kill you instead!" A bottle suddenly shattered in front of Void, creating a cloud of smoke. "What is this!?"

Z and Bronze Gear walked onto the stage. "You are full of surprises!" Said Bronze.

The yellow pony picked up the unknown unicorn. "We have to get out of here." He said to her. "Can you walk?"

"Yes." The unicorn answered him.

"You won't get far!" yelled Void. A purple ball of energy formed inside the smoke.

"Stay still!" Her curved horn glowed and formed a purple bubble around the four ponies. It then vanished as the orb grew and consumed the room. The bubble reappeared in front of the train station. The yellow pony saw the orb grow until the entire castle was consumed. The orb stopped as it reached the gate of the city. He ran towards the orb but was stopped by the unicorn pulling his tail with her magic. "Wait!"

"Let me go!" The pony yelled.

"So you can be trapped like everypony else!? That orb is a dimensional distortion spell. Think of it as a black hole. If you go in there, you'll be unable to move." She dropped him next to her.

"Fuck! Is everypony dead in there?"

"No. I've seen in there before. It disables gravity, wind, and unicorn magic. But there's still air."

"We can't just leave them in there!" said Z.

"We don't have a choice. We'll need to come back latter. But we'll need something first. Is there another town near here?"

"Ponyvile." said Bronze. "I don't like it though. They keep everything low tech there. And there won't be anypony there. Everypony was at the summit."

"We just need to use the library."

"We gonna hit your father with a book?" asked the yellow pony.

"No. We are going to look for a special item that will aid us in freeing everyone."

"We can't walk there, it'll take too long. Can you poof us there?"

"No. It took a lot of magic just to get this far."

"We could use the train." said Bronze.

"What's a train?"

"A big metal vehicle that's used for transportation."

"We can't use the train." said Z. "No conductor."

"It's an automated train. I just need to punch in the destination and it'll take us there."

"Then we'll use it." said the unicorn. The three of them walked towards the train while the yellow pony stared at the orb. "Fire Pony! Will you be assisting us!?"

He kept staring for a few more seconds. He took a deep breath and walked towards the train. The four entered the train and closed the door behind them.

"Alright." said Bronze. "You three sit in the seats. I'll put the train in motion." She entered the the control room and closed the door.

The three ponies sat down on the seats. Z and the mare sat on the right side and the yellow pony sat on the left. He rested his head on the window and stared at the orb. "Thanks for saving me." The mare said to him. He didn't respond. The train started moving. It exited the station and moved down the mountain. "I've never seen anything like this before." The yellow pony still didn't respond to her. "I'm Abyss. What's your name?"

"...Burn..."

"At least he spoke." said Z. "I'm Z. The one driving is Bronze Gear."

"Do you know him?"

"We just met today. He was nice but always mysterious. Never even said his name."

"He has his reasons."

"I'm right here." said Burn.

"Sorry." said Abyss."

"It's fine."

"So," said Z. "your dad. Is he always like that?"

"No. He had the same ideals as Starswirl. But he kept using forbidden magic. And he changed. I'll explain it more when we get there."

"Did he do that to your horn."

She touched her horn. "No. I guess it's a side effect of being trapped in crystal with him."

"I'm sorry."

"It doesn't matter."

The train arrived at the Ponyvile Train Station a few hours later. The trian roughly halted. Its wheels screeching and hissing. The force of the train suddenly stopping threw the three ponies out of their seats. Thankfully the seats in front of them kept them from slamming into the front of the caboose. The ponies groaned as they slowly recovered from their impact. "Sorry." A voice came from the speakers in the sealing. "I should have been more easy on the breaks."

The ponies exit the train and looked towards the town in the distance. Unlike Canterlot, Ponyvile was more like a city built during the founding of Equestria. Wooden houses were spread across the town, a dirt path separated the hoses instead of a hard black road, and wooden outhouses sat ten houses across from each other. "This is Ponyvile?" asked Abyss. "I though it would be shiny like Canterlot."

"Ponyvile is an oldy town." said Z. "The citizens like the calm farmer look. They still have phones and computers. All of these houses are over 1000 years old. They do mandatory changes to the houses to insure safety and reduce the risk of them falling on top of themselves."

"They even refused to use a Cyber Library. They have the old fashioned one with books. They don't want book to be forgotten."

"Where's the library?" asked Abyss.

Suddenly, a pegasus and a griffon swooped down from the sky and landed in front of them. The pegasus was a mare with a light-green coat, a blue mane tied in a ponytail, a tail in the same color as her mane, blue eyes, and a storm cloud cutie mark. The griffon was a foot taller then everyone else. He was male. His torso, back legs, and tail were like a lions and his head was like a brown hawks. He had sharp yellow claws at the end of his front legs and two large feathered wings on his back. "Hi there!" said the pegasus. "You four on a tour?"

"No." said Abyss. "We are here because of an emergency."

"What kind?" asked the griffon. His voice was vary deep.

"Canterlot's been... captured."

"Is that what that big ball thing is all about?" asked the pegasus. "I thought it was like a BIG rave. I wanted to go."

"Sorry." said the griffon. "My friend here likes raves. She's Quick Drop. And I'm Talon."

"Where's everyone else?" asked Bronze Gear.

"Everyone left for the big event in Canterlot." said Quick Drop. "They left us here to keep an eye on the town."

"And because SHE placed a cherry bomb in the mayor's toilet." said Talon

"YOU were the one who thought of it."

"Anyway." said Z. "We need to get to the library."

"Sure. It's this way." Quick Drop and Talon brought them to the middle of the town where a large oak tree stood. The tree had a door, two windows, and a balcony. "Oak Library."

"Your library is in an oak tree?" asked Abyss.

"Yeah. Its magic based so it'll never rot and its fire proof."

"Thanks. Come on everyone." Burn, Bronze, Z, and Abyss entered the tree. Quick Drop and Talon followed them. "Why are you two following us?"

"We want to help." said Quick Drop.

"We can't stand idly by while our country is in danger." said Talon. "I was in the Griffon Air Force until I lost my eye."

"But you still have both eyes."

"The left one is a glass eye. Griffons have perfect eyesight. But when I lost mine, the griffons retired me and I cam to Ponyvile."

Quick Drop hugged Talon. "That's when we met, dated, and became a couple."

"A pony is dating a griffon?" asked Abyss.

"Where did you live? The dark ages?"

"Yes."

"Really?"

"Yes. Frozen in crystal."

"Damn. I was just kiddin'."

"It's fine. You didn't know."

"Are we gonna talk or search?" asked Burn.

"Right. Remember everyone, we're looking for anything that could tell us about ancient magical artifacts." They all searched throughout the library. Books sat on shelves that stood next to the walls. A round table stood in the middle of the room with a wooden sculpture of a horse's head. A globe sat in the north-west corner. Abyss and Bronze used their magic to look through the largest books. Talon and Drop searched the top of the shelves. Z checked the bottom shelves. Burn lifted random objects and searched under them. "Found anything!?" yelled Abyss.

"No." Talon, Burn, Bronze, and Drop said in unison.

"I found a book about Princess Celestia." Z said while holding a book with a white cover. "Hmph. '5 ways to arouse Princess Celestia.'"

"GIMME GIMME GIMME!!!" Yelled Burn. Z placed the book back into the shelf. "NOO!!! WHY!?"

"You have a problem."

"I found one!" yelled Abyss. She pulled out a large black book covered in dust. She placed the book on the table, blew off the dust, and opened it. She used her magic to quickly flip through the pages.

"What are you looking for?" asked Talon.

"Something that'll help everyone, including my father." She stopped at a page near the middle of the book. "Here." everyone looked at the page. The page showed a picture of a golden dagger with a green gem in the middle of the hilt. "The Dagger Of Separation."

"Dagger Of Separation?" asked Bronze.

"It's a magic artifact that was created before Celestia. Before Starswirl. It used to be used by a tribe of Zebras as a means to exercise those who have been corrupted by dark magic or spirits. It can extract the evil force from the victim. This will free him from whatever is controlling him."

"Are you sure there's something controlling him?" asked Z.

"He's got two horns sticking out of the back of his head and claws. If that's not possession, I don't know what is."

"Okay." said Burn. "We know what we're looking for, but we don't know where to look."

"It's back at my father's castle. It's west from the Everfree."

"But that's where they found the crystal that contained you." siad Bronze. "If it was there; it would have been back in Canterlot Castle."

"There's a secret basement to the castle. The only one's that would know about it are me and my father, and we're the only ones who could open the entrance to it."

"Alright." said Talon. "Now we've gotta go through the Everfree, west from the Everfree, into an old castle, into th e basement of said castle, and find the magic magoffin. Everyone got that?"

"We're gonna need a grocery list." Drop joked.

"Now that we're done with planing," said Burn. "let's go and get this thing so we can save everyone back in Canterlot."

They arrived at the entrance to the Everfree Forest a few minutes later. The forest was so dark that they could barely see past 20 feet into it. "I'm having second thoughts." said Z.

"Don't be a pussy." said Bronze.

"I'm not a pussy!"

"Both of you!" said Talon. "Just stay together and we'll be fine."

The six of them entered the forest. A single dirt path stretched deeper into the darkness. Large, old, rotting trees surrounded them in every direction. Some of the trees had faces carved into them.

"I hope these things don't spring to life." said Z.

"If they do;" said Burn. "I'll fry 'em."

"Yeah." said Bronze. "I mean to ask: how'd you do all of that stuff back in Canterlot?"

"I guess I can't keep it a secret anymore. I've always had this... uniqeness. Ever since I could remember. Whenever I got mad, threatened, or had a feeling of needing to protect someone. It's like some sorta hidden ability I never understood. Many ponies were afraid of me. That's why I tried my best to hide it. Ponies fear what they don't understand. And they have a fight or flight instinct when they feer something. They thought I was a monster. A demon sent from the pits of the underworld."

"What did you do?" asked Abyss.

"I left. My mom didn't want me to go. She was the slightly overprotective mother. But she knew that I had to be on my own at some point. 14 was too young in her eyes though. But she knew I could handle myself."
"How old are you?"

"21. I went up north into the mountains. Best thing about the ability to control flame was that I could survive in the harsh cold. I found a temple that was owned by a bunch of baboon monks. They let me stay for six years. They didn't know anything about why I have my powers, but they helped me control them. It was the basic stuff like 'take this pebble from my hand' and 'focus your will to a single point'. I mastered it in time. Although I have a feeling that its only the tip of the iceberg."

They arrived at a bridge that connected one cliff to another one 50 feet away. They looked under the bridge and saw a river 200 feet below. Burn jumped backwards and hugged a tree in fear. "What?" asked Drop.

"H... Heights..."

"You're afraid of heights?" asked Talon.

"Maa~..."

Talon walked over and grabbed Burn's tail. "Come on, dude. It's just a bridge." He pulled Burn's tail.

Burn held tightly to the tree with a grip stronger then an boa. "NOOO!!! NO! PLEASE! NOO!!!"

"Ah!... Come on!... You can't be serious!"

"I DON'T WANNA! I'M GONNA FALL!!"

"Somepony help me dammit!"

A few minutes later: Abyss walked all of the way across the bridge, then Z, then Bronze, then Drop, then Talon... holding Burn on his back... and Burn still hugging a large chunk of the tree. "...no...no..." Burn said softly.

"Just don't look down."

"NO FUCKING SHIT, ASSHOLE!!!" They suddenly heard a loud snap. The top right rope snapped, tipping the bridge to the right. Abyss, Bronze, and Z all held on to the broken, dangling bridge with their hooves. Drop used her wings to hover next to them. Burn dropped straight down, only to be caught by his tail by Talon's claw. The peace of tree that Burn was previously carrying fell down to the river below. "Oh-sweet-Celestia!" Burn yelled without pausing between his words. "Please-don't-let-go! I'm-sorry-for-snapping-at-you!"

"Don't worry bro! I've got you! Drop! Help the others across!"

"Got it babe!" yelled Drop. She hovered next to the others and helped them across.

"Burn! I'm gonna let go!"

"Don't you dare!" yelled Burn

"No! I'm gonna let go of the bridge!"

"Then we'll both fall!"

"Calm down and listen to me!"

"Don't let go!"

"I'm gonna let go and then I'll-"

"DON'T! LET! G-AHH!" Talon let go of the bridge and used the wings on his back to slowly fly to the other side of the bridge. "Oh yeah. You can fly."

Talon sighed and brought him to the solid ground on the other side. "You need to get over that phobia."

Burn stood up. "Yeah it's on my to-do list."

"You two done?" asked Abyss. Burn and Talon knotted in agreement. "Okay. Theres a mile left of forest, then we'll be at the castle."

Drop flew quickly towards Talon and hugged him. "Who's my big hero!?" she kissed his beak.

"Yeah, yeah." said Talon, hugging her.

The six walked down the dirt road to the west for the next hour. They arrived at an opening though the trees towards a big black castle. "There it is!" said Abyss.

"Finally!" said Z.

"If we hurry; we can get there and get the dagger in no time!" She ran towards the castle, but a pack of five Timberwolves quickly blocked her path. "EEP!"

Talon grabbed her tail and pulled her back. "They must have been stalking us all the way here." he said.

"Their wooden bodies blend perfectly in the forst." said Z.

"What do we do now?" asked Drop.

"I know what I'm gonna do!" said Burn. He jumped above the wolves, ignited his right front hoof, and slammed it into one of the head of on of the Timberwolves. It yelped as its head crashed into the ground and its body shattered into twigs. The remaining four wolves growled at Burn. One of them leaped towards him, but he used his back legs to buck it into the air. He jumped up, grabbed it by the tail with both of his front hooves, and threw it towards another wolf. But the other wolf dodged the wolf that was thrown. The thrown wolf yelped as it hit the ground. The one that dodged it then leaped and tackled Burn, pinning him to the ground. It used its sharp, wooden teeth to chomp onto Burn's right leg. Burn yelled as blood sprayed from his leg.

"Get off of him!" Drop flew into the wolf, sending it flying into a tree and shattering it. "You okay Burn?"

"Didn't know it could be that smart." He grunted. "Thanks, Drop."

"Can you stand up?"

Burn stood up, but wobbled trying to stand. "I can still take them."

"Uh-uh." She laid him down against a tree. "You rest here."

"But-"

"A-ba-ba." She placed her hoof on his lips. "No back talk." A wolf ran towards them, but Talon quickly flew in front of it and slammed his shoulder into it, sending it back. "Two times a hero." Abyss lifted the remaining three wolves and crushed them with her magic. "You're not alone anymore."

Z picked some green plants and blue mushrooms and placed them in a wooden bowl. He then picked up a rock and used it the crush and churn them into mush, he then poured the mush into a beaker and shaked it. The contents of the beaker turned into a nasty blueish-green color. "This should heal the wound." He told Burn.

"Eww." said Burn, disgusted. "Do I have to drink that shit?"

"Balls no." Z held it over Burn's wound. "It's more unpleasant then that." He poured it over Burn's wound. Burn felt a strong stinging sensation as he wound instantly heald. "Sucks, don't it?"

"GAH!! WHAT THE FUCK!?"

"Healing potion. Heals any wound. Hurts like an angry hornet though."

"More like someone biting it!" He took a few deep breaths. "I'm good now." He stood up. "Now let's get to that dagger before I screw something else up." He walked to towards the tower.

"Hay. You didn't mess-" Abyss tired to tell him, but he just kept walking. She looked to Z, who just shrugged. The other five followed him towards the tower, while three unknown figures watched them from the bushes.

Episode 3

The party of six entered the castle.The three shadowy figures emerged from the bush. They were three diamond dogs, all with features that were similar to any other diamond dog. Gray fur and floppy ears. The one on the left was male. He was the tallest of the three. Tall and slender. More slender then any normal diamond dog. He was wearing a collar with a sapphire in the center. The one on the left was the smallest. He was also male. He had a ruby in his collar. And the one in the middle was a female. She was shorter then the tall one, but taller then the small one. She had a diamond in her collar. She also wore cloths unlike the others who were naked. She wore a slim, purple shirt that hugged her upper torso. "Look boys." She said. Her voice scratchy but clearly feminine. "Six strangers just went into that tower."

"Are we gonna follow them inside, Diamond?" asked the taller one.

"Yes Max." She answered him. "Hopefully they'll disable the traps for us."

"Can I come to?" asked the small one. "Or should I stay here?"

"You can come in with us Luke." said Diamond. She picked him up and hugged him. "Can't leave my little brother out." She kissed his cheek, causing him to giggle.

"What about me?" asked Max.

"You can take care of yourself."

"Yeah, but strength in numbers."

"Yeah, Three against six. We're not gonna fight them. We're just gonna go in there, get gems, and go. You know how dangerous ponies are."

"They also have a griffin." said Luke. "Outnumbered and outmatched."

"I can take 'em!" yelled Max.

Diamond kicked his leg. "Not so loud." she ordered. "They'll hear us. Now let's go." They got out of the forest and shadowed the six.

Inside the tower; Abyss led the rest inside the narrow halls. "Be careful." She said. "My dad was big in security."

"Where's the dagger?" asked Burn.

"In the basement. Where all of our most valuable items were stored."

"Like what kind?"

"Me and my father were paid to aid the sick with our magic. Most used bits, but some paid with treasure. Gold grails, swords, canes, toilets. many things."

"Toilets?" Talon asked.

"Yes. They were from a toilet maker. He ran out of room in his house."

"That's even more confusing."

Abyss used her magic to scan the area for her family's traps. "That's weird. Someone already tripped every single trap. They didn't even try the avoid or disarm them. They just set off all of them."

"That means someone was trying to get in here." said Bronze.

"Not so bright if they never even tried to disable them." said Z.

"Maybe some animals or something." said Drop.

"I dough that." said Abyss. "If it were animals; we'd find their corpses all around. It would have been someone that was dumb enough to trip the traps, but smart enough to dodge them." They reached the door to the basement. the door had a lock on it. "This is an enchanted lock. Only my family can unlock it." She used her magic to unlock the lock, opening the door with a loud creek. Abyss used her magic to light every torch. The torches led down a flight of stairs to a room. The six walked down the stairs and entered the room. It was filled with golden items. But inthe middle of the room, inside a glass case, was a golden dagger with a small crystal at the end of the handle. "Here it is." She pulled it out of the case.

"Pretty." said Bronze.

"So are we gonna stab your dad with it?" asked Z.

"It won't kill him," said Abyss. "It'll rip out any entity inside of the host. Freeing the host from the entity."

"Then let's get back to Canterlot." said Talon. "But how? The bridge is gone, and we can't carry each other all the way back."

Luke appeared behind them. "We can help you out!" He yelled joyfully. Diamond covered his mouth and pulled him back.

The six gasped and glanced at the three diamond dogs who snuck into the room. "Shit!" yelled Burn.

"Language!" yelled Diamond, still holding her little brother. "There's a pup here!"

"What are you three doing here." asked Talon. "Are you gonna rob us? Eat us? Do other thing so horrible that I can't say in front of the kid."

"No! We have an old flight ship that'll get you all to wherever you all wanna go."

"The catch?" asked Z.

"Everything in this room. Except that dagger, since you just told us why you need it."

"You heard all of that?" asked Bronze.

"We tailed you all of the way here." said Max.

"If I give you all of these items, will you get us to Canterlot?" asked Abyss.

"Yes." said Diamond. "But there's one tinny, tiny, little problem: the engine's busted.

"I can fix it." said Bronze. "I love fixing things."

"Deal!" said Z. "And you must abide by it. I'm a future business owner. And I know all about trading and deals. If you cross us in any way, we'll take back our payment."

"Dog's honor." said diamond.

"Well then," said Talon. "Will you lead us to your ship?"

"Yes." Diamond led them out of the tower and to an old air ship in the forest. It was like a sail boat. It was in a round shape like a boat. It was made from a vary light type of wood, painted white, had a large sail on the top of it, and two wings on the sides of it. "Here you go."

"It's a rust bucket." said Bronze as she cracked her neck. "But I'm used to fixing rust buckets." She climbed up the left side of it and entered through a trap door in the bridge.

Abyss turned to Diamond. "So why didn't you harm us?" she asked. "I thought diamond dogs were known to be robbers and scavengers."

"We used to be." said diamond. "But like 1000 years ago, our ancestors decided to not be on the bad side and not rob anyone. But we still have the 'finders keepers' rule. You guys found the stuff first."

"Well what are you gonna do with the stuff after we leave?"

"We're gonna keep some but sell the rest. We need bits in order to survive. You can't even get a peace of toilet paper without bits."

Max leaned next to Diamond. "And period pats!" Diamond slammed him to the ground with her fist to his head. "GAHK!!!"

"Quiet you!" Diamond whipped her hand off of her outfit. "As long as we get out cut, we don't care what you do with the ship."

"That's okay. Thank you."

"Don't mention it."

Bronze popped her head out of the ship's window. "It's done!"

"That was quick."

"She dose machines!" said Z.

Bronze giggles. "Thanks Z." She whipped the oil from her face. She then pulled ou a small remote and pressed a button on it. The engine roared as the ships thrusters flared and the wings lifted upwards. The ship levitated into the air and rotated to the east. A latter extended from the underside. "All aboard the S.S. Rusty!" She climbed up the latter into the ship.

"Yes Mam!" Z followed her. The rest except Abyss and the diamond dogs followed.

"Thanks again." said Abyss.

"Yeah yeah." said Diamond.

"Maybe after this is over, we can be friends."

"I'd like that."

Abyss hugged the dogs and climbed up the latter and entered the shipping cargo of the ship. She walked through the cargo and walked into the main control room. It was the size of a small house. Filled with ten chairs, a table, and two pilot seats with a control board. Bronze sat at the pilot seat and the other four sat at four of the back seats. "Have a seat Abyss." said Bronze. Abyss sat next to Talon. Bronze pulled a lever. "And we're off." The ship blasts it's thrusters and zoomed through the air. Birds flew out of the trees around the ship and flew off out of fear. The ship flew past the Everfree Forset, past Ponyvile, and towards the large black orb that used to be Canterlot.

The ship landed 50 feet away from the orb. Its thrusters hissing as they shut off. The wings on its sides folded back. A door on the right side of the ship opened as a metal walkway extended from the bottom of it. The walkway rested on the ground. The six exited their seats and walked down the walkway onto the pavement. They walked down the pathment and stopped in front of the orb. "Alright everyone!" said Talon. "You all ready to go in there, free everypony including Abyss' dad, and save Canterlot!"

"Yeah!" Everypony else but Burn yelled.

"Then let's-"

"Wait!" yelled Abyss. "Everypony gather around me!" They ll did as she ordered. Her horn flashed and zapped everyone with bolts of purple electricity. "There! Now we can move and use magic inside of the dimensional distortion feild!"

"Alright! Charge!" They all ran into the orb. Inside the orb: the sky was purple and waving like the surface of a pool. Peaces of Canterlot floated around in this strange space. From shops to houses along with peaces of the pavement. Ponies also floated helplessly among the broken city. The six stood on a large chunk of pavement.

"This place is giving me the creeps." said Drop.

"Don't worry." said Abyss. "The spell will make it so we can move and use magic."

"Can't we use it to help everypony else?" asked Talon.

"The spell only works outside of the feild. But as soon as we free my father, we'll return Canterlot back to normal. Okay. The flyers will help the ponies onto solid ground."

"Alright." said Talon and Drop.

"Z, Bronze, and Burn will find Bronze's workshop and see if there's anything is still woking in there that we can use. I will use the dagger to free my father."

"Uh-uh." said Burn. "I'm going with you."

"Why?"

"Someone's gotta have your back. And I wanna get my round 2."

"Priorities. Okay. We've got a plan." Talon picked up Bronze and Z and flew off with Drop. Abyss grabbed a small chunk of pavement and brought it towards them. She stepped onto it. Burn stepped onto it and next to her. Abyss used her magic to move the chunk through the purple void. They moved past the drifting shops and houses towards Canterlot Castle. Burn and Abyss jumped onto the front stares and ran into the main throne room. Celestia and Luna were encased inside a large brid cage made from obsidian hanging on the sealing.

Celestia looked down and saw the two ponies. "Luna." she whispered. "Look. Ponies."

"Huh?" Luna stood up and looked down. "Ah. Yes. They can save us."

"We're here to rescue you!" yelled Abyss.

"Shh. Not so loud. He might-"

Void appeared in front of the two ponies. "Hear you?" he joked. "You again. I should have just stopped boasting and killed you." He lifted Celestia's and Luna's thrones with his magic. "Easily remedied." He threw the thrones. Burn grabbed Abyss and jumped away before the thrones crashed into the floor. He landed and lets go of Abyss. He then ran towards Void. Void shoot a red beam towards Burn, but Burn stepped quickly to the left and dodged it. Void blasted more, but Burn kept dodging his blasts. Burn leap into the air, stuck his back right leg forward, and flipped his body around. His hoof ignited, turning his body into a wheel of flames. Void blocked his assault with his arms. Burn crashed his hoof into Void's arms, causing Void to stumble back. Void grabbed Burn's leg and through him into a stone pillar. Burn grunted as his back slammed into the pillar. He landed on the floor, a little shaken from the impact, but still able to fight. Void leaped forward and pulled back his left claw. He slashed towards Burn, but Burn dodged, causing the claw to slice through the surface of the pillar. Burn punched Void in the face, to which Void recoiled and smacked Burn's face with his tail. Burn whipped the fresh blood off of a new cut on his cheek and punched Void in the chest, sending him upwards into the air. Burn jumped and used his front hooves to slam Void back into the floor. Burn landed on the floor. Void was dazed from his landing. Burn picked him up and pulled his front right hoof back. His elbow shot out flames like a rocket, sending his hoof flying into Void's face in a blinding speed. The impact sent Void flying into a nearby wall, slamming his back into it with a wall-cracking crash. Void fell to the floor and lifted himself back up. "Your abilities, your strength, your reflexes. How is this possible!? You're an earth pony! You're only ment to do labor! To farm! To shovel cow dung! You can't kill me!" He lifted his claw, red electricity surrounding it. "You won't kill me." He shot a ball of red and black energy.

Burn ran towards it, but before it hit him, all four of his hooves ignited, sending him flying 20 feet into the air. The ball slammed into a wall. Burn landed behind Void and wrapped his front hooves around his arms, holding him in a choke hold. "I wasn't going to kill you." he said to Void's ear. "I was stalling." Abyss ran towards Void, holding the dagger. She thrusts it into Void's chest. "I wasn't the only one you had to worry about." Burn held Void into place as a strange red energy shot out of his chest and into the air like water shooting out of a hose. Void's body quickly transformed from his mutated form into a unicorn with a curved horn with a red pointed tip, a shaggy white mane, black fur, and a black hole cutie mark. The dagger fell from Void's chest onto the floor with a loud cling. Burn lets go of Void.

Void fell to all fours as he collected his breath. Abyss helped him up. "Father?" she asked. "Is that you?"

Void coughed a little. "Yes Abyss." He hugged her. "I'm sorry for not listening to you. I'm sorry for being so foolish."

"Its okay father." She brushed his head with her hoof. "Its over now."

Void used his magic to free the princesses from their prison and gentilly place them on the floor. He bowed before them. "I will accept any punishment you will have for me."

Celestia raised her hoof in an accepting manor. "No punishment needed." she said. "You weren't yourself."

Abyss smiled, but looked towards Burn, who was staring out of the window. "Arent you going to celebrate?"

"Not yet." he answered. "What happens after the dagger separates the entity from the host?"

"I haven't got to that part. Why?" She looked towards the direction he was staring at.

"It's not over yet." The energy that exited Void floated above the castle. It moved and compressed until it formed a long shape. It then hardened into a new form. This form had a long reptilian body, two large bird like wings on its back, a long tail, two equine hind legs, two reptilian front legs with claws, and a horse-like head with sharp teeth and two horns sticking out of the back corners of its head.

"Kirin."

The creature roared, shaking the entire space around them. The roar sounded like a mixture of a dragon roaring and a horse's winny. It opened its mouth, blasting a large beam of red and black energy. The beam destroyed the castle, sending peaces flying all around. Thankfully the ponies inside were unharmed. "De... stroy..." The creature moaned. "De... stroy... EVERYTHING!!!" It blasted through building all around.

Abyss shot a beam at it, but the beam bounced off of its hide. It growled and blasted towards them. She created a purple shield to protect them, but it shattered, sending them scitting across the floor.

Burn stood up and saw everypony laying in pain. Rage through his body. A ring of flames formed around him and shot up into the sky. After they dissipated, Burn's body was charged with a red ora. His entire body ignited with flames and sent him zooming towards Kirin. He punched it int he face, stopping it attacks.

The ponies in the castle's ruins came out of their daze and looked up. They watched as Burn flew through the strange space, dodging blasts from the monster and slamming himself into parts of its body with extreme speeds. Burn flew to its chest, delivering a mirage of punches to it. It roared and tried to grab him with its claws, but he zipped past its hand and back into its face. He pointed his front hooves and blasted a stream of flames into his face. It roared in pain. It flew back and charged its next beam attack. Burn flew upwards so it aimed away from the others and up at him in a 45 degree angle. It fired it's beam towards Burn. Burn pulled his front hooves in so they held his chest. A large orb of fire formed around him. The beam crashed into the orb. The orb pushed away the beam, scattering it like water hitting a rock. As the end of the beam separated from it's source, the parts of it dissipated into nothing. Burn exited the back of the orb and bucked it, sending it flying towards the Kirin. It hits his head, canceling his beam. Burn then blasted towards it. It blasted another beam at Burn. A flaming arua covered Burn, acting as a schell blocking the beam. Burn slammed into the Kirirn's chest. The Kirin roared as Burn pushed into it. With a loud crack, Burn smashed through it's chest and out it's back. Black smoke poured out of it's chest. It roared as more of it's body cracked like shattered rock. It exploded in a large red explosion. Burn still rocketed through the space. He closed his eyes, passed out, and slammed into a chunk of pavement. His body stopped with a skid.

The purple sky cracked like ice. A white light shined from the cracks. The sky shattered, flooding the void with the blinding light. Everyone shielded their eyes. When the light cleared; everyone was back in Neo Canterlot. The streats were back in one peace, the buildings were unharmed, and the castle stood, as though nothing happened at all. Everypony cheered in rejoice. The roar of the crowd echoed throughout the city.

Celestia, Luna, Void, and Abyss stood up. They were inside of the throne room. Everything was intact. The thrones, the stain glass windows, the floor, and the pillars. All four ponies walked outside. The sky was blue, the city was secure, the ponies were saved. Abyss hugged Void. "Thank goodness!"

Void brushed her mane with his hoof. "I should have listened to you sooner, my daughter. I was a fool. A foolish fool."

"I don't blame you for what happened. You were trying to help Equestria. It was that thing that took control of you and ruined everything."

"Everything is alright now." said Celestia. "And I'm willing to let you two stay in Neo Canterlot if you want. It will take some time to get used to the modern technology we've created, but I'm sure you two will do fine."

"And I to forgive you Void." said Luna. "I to was under the control of an evil force. Celestia used the same dagger that freed you to free me. I regretted what I did while I was Nightmare Moon, but that was Nightmare Moon, not me. You are forgiven."

"Now where is Burn?" asked Celestia.

Talon and Drop flew in and hovered in front of the four ponies. "Princesses!" yelled Talon. "We need your assistance!" They flew towards the middle of the city while the princesses followed them. They arrived in a street in the center of the city. Burn was laying face down on the pavement. He was covered in scratches and bruises all over his body.

Celestia placed her hoof on his neck, feeling a pulse. "He's alive, just knocked out."

"That's good at least." said Drop.

Celestia picked him up and they flew back towards the castle.

4 weeks later.

Burn awoke on a hospital bed. The room was clean, with white walls and tile floor. Blue curtains hung over windows which led to a balcony. He got out of the bed. All of his scratches were completely healed. He opened the window walked to the balcony. He saw some vegetation growing up the wall to the left. He grabbed the vines.

"Awake, are we?" Burn turned around and saw Celestia standing behind him.

"How long?" asked Burn.

"Four weeks. What you did in that dimensional rift was outstanding. That aura surrounding you. How did that happen?"

"I don't know. Something... clicked?... I have no idea."

"As you can see: you saved the city. The entire planet even. For that; I have the greatest gratitude for you."

"Thanks. I'm glad you're safe." He climbed onto the vines.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Anywhere but here."

"Why is that?"

"Everypony watched me, didn't they. Watched me fly around like some sorta freak. Pegasi are suppose to fly. Unicorns are suppose to use magic, even fire magic. Earth ponies can't fly. Earth ponies can't shoot fire like a Celestia dammed dragon!" Celestia raised a brow. "Sorry. Even if I saved them from Sombra or Terak; they'll fear me. And they'll execute me if I stay here for too long. Or worse. That's why I can't stay. I don't want to scare everyone with me being here."

"Execute you? I'm the only one who orders executions, and you havent done anything wrong. You saved everyone. You and those other five who accompanied you in your quest." She pulled him towards him with her magic and hugged him, making him blush. "You're not a danger to everyone around you. You're not a freak. You're... Unique. And I'll make sure everyone sees that. And if you want to, you can live in my castle with Luna and me. No more running. No more hiding. You can stay and never have to worry about anyone prosecuting you for who you are. Do you think me and Luna had a 'normal' childhood. Sure we were royalty, but we were still different then the other ponies. You are not alone. Also: I've had a big party planned to celebrate the courageous acts you and your new friends did. We we're waiting until you've fully recovered to awake before setting it up. I insist you join. Then you can do as you please. You can leave and spend the rest of your life in isolation. Or you can stay. It's your choice."

He sighed. "Alright. I'll stay for the celebration." Celestia picked him up and kissed his cheek. Steam shot from his ears.

Celestia giggled. "Let's go then." They walked out of the room. Abyss was sitting on a chair n the waiting room. "Abyss. He's awake now."

Abyss jumped out of the bench and hugged him. "Thank you for saving me and my father!" she cheered.

"Y-you're welcome." Burn said as she crushed him with her hug. "You're crushing me."

"Oh. Sorry." She lets go of him.

"Damn girl. You hug hard." He cracked his back. "How's your dad?"

"Getting better every day thanks to you."

He rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah... I try..."

"So is he staying?"

"Yes." said Celestia.

"Joy!"

Burn giggled. The three walked to the castle. They opened the main doors and saw a large crowd of ponies cheering as they walked in. Talon, Bronze, Drop, Z, and Zoid stood in front of the crowd. Celestia raised her hoof and the crowd became silent. The three walked through the crowd to the stage. Talon, Bronze, Drop, and Z joined them. Luna also stood at the stage. The six stood in a line as the princesses stood in front of them. "Today we honor these brave souls!" said Celestia. "They have gone through the Everfree to retrieve the Dagger Of Separation to free Void and save Equestria from the demonic Kirin." Luna brought six golden metals with a sun carved into one side and a moon carved into the other. She hung the metals around the six's necks. "We give you these metals to prove your deeds and name you The Unique Ones. Six unique individuals with many differences from each other, but similar in their love for Equestria. May they honor us all." The crowd cheered again.

"I think I'll stay here for a while." said Burn as he waved to the crowd.

Prologue.

Location: Somewhere wast of The Everfree Forst. Time: Around 1500 years ago.

A cloaked figure as in a strange circle drawn in the floor. It lit 5 red candles that were arranged on the line of the circle, each in an equal distance away from the other. The dancing flames illuminated half of the room. The rest of the room was still hidden by the covering sheet of darkness. The figure sat there in the middle. The back of its head glowed with a light strong enough to shine through its hood.

Just then, the sound of a door slamming open echoed through the room. Then sounds of hoofsteps quickly growing louder as the source got closer to the room. The hoof steps stopped as the source came to a stop behind the figure. "Father!!!" A voice shouted. It was female. By the sound of it, it was a female that was fully grown. The figure in the circle didn't move when it heard her voice. "You must stop! You don't know what you're doing!"

"I'm doing what's needed for the benefit of Equestria." The figure said. It's voice was of an old mad. But something else spoke behind it. Something deep, foul, and unnatural.

The sound was unsettling to the female. "Do you hear me!? Something has influenced you, father!" She slowly stepped forward.

"The gods are giving me the power I need to secure our future."

"Gods... or demons. Think clearly, father. Don't dwell in things carelessly. Else you want to aid your destruction, and ours."

He turned to face his daughter. His eyes glowed red with pupils in the shape of lines instead of orbs. Like a snake staring down at a mouse, his gaze showed menace instead of companion for her. "Don't interfere. Or yee will be a pile of ash on the stone floor."

She was taken back a bit, but shook off her fear. "You are not my father, and I know what I must do." She tackled him, but he tossed her into the wall with the strength of a fully grown bear. He ran towards her. She quickly stood up and charged for him. Her head glowed with a deep purple glow that consumed the room.
