The sun was being a bit of a bitch right now and by that I mean it was about 96°F with not a cloud in the sky or a breeze on the wind to help cool me down. Which didn't surprise me all that much since it was the middle of July. As I continued walking I started to a little dizzy, so I took out my water bottle and had a good few gulps from it but I still felt a little dizzy. I thought it might be because I was in the direct sun and had been for the last few hours. I started walking again, I could see the small village from where I was so I figured I could make it before I collapsed from heat stroke but I was sadly wrong. My vision started fading as blackness crept in from the sides of my eyes and than I started to fall. I slowly and very grogoly woke up from my brief state of unconsciousness, I felt sore all over and my head hurt something bad. As I raised my hands to rub my head I noticed that I couldn't feel my fingers, so I look at what used to be a hand and saw a hoof. I realized very quickly that I wasn't dreaming because I could feel pain from my body because I was laying on hard surface and pain from my headache, I reacted very calmly to this realization... ok a freaked the fuck out. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..." "...hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." *huff* *huff* *huff* Okay I'm glad I got that out of my system but now my throat is sore. I decided to have a look around, so I stood and started to walk around with great ease much to my surprise. I walked around the room for a few minutes to get a feel for my new body. After i got used to it, which was surprisingly fast, I walked out side and immediately saw an old worn wooden bridge, one that seemed very familiar. I strode up to it, turned around, and saw a familiar castle ruin. I started to feel very giddy because I was some how in Equestria! I quickly started to prance around saying, "Yes yes yes yes". over and over again. Than I realized that if I had hooves and was now in Equestria that I must have become a pony, which I know I'm a little late to realize this but I've never changed species before so cut me some slack. Anyway, I turned my head to look at my flank to see if I had a cutie mark and to my surprise yet again a saw a familiar light purple splotch with a light blue crescent moon on it. My excitement was through the roof, I quickly started looking for any type of reflective surface, as I was walking around I found a small pond on the side of a castle so I walked up to it and was greeted with the surprised smiling face of Nightmare Moon. Again I started prancing around saying,"Yes yes yes yes" over and over again. I not only somehow came to Equestria but also got turned into my favorite character Nightmare Moon, after the excitement died down little bit and I stopped prancing, I begin to wonder if I had any of Nightmare Moon's memories. So, I began thinking about just that and I found them, not a lot they were all mostly of the battle Celestia, sometime from being on the moon, and the battle with the Mane 6. Though as another plus I did have all of her knowledge on how to operate my new body(which explains how I was able to walk around so fast), how to use magic*squee* and how to fly*squee*. With all of this knowledge and my knowledge of the show, I decided to head to the only place where I could find out where I was in the timeline and possibly how I ended up here, so I took to the air and started heading toward Ponyville in search of any of the Maine 6 but specifically a little purple unicorn and/or alicorn named Twilight Sparkle. I'm not sure what I should doAuthor's Note Sorry that it took so long to get this chapter out. Work has been very hectic with my scheduling, one day I work the night shift and the very next day I'd have to work the morning shift. So I didn't have a lot of time to myself to work on the story and anytime I did have I kind of just had me time. My schedule is now balancing out where I'm working night shift most of the time if not all the time now. So I will continue to work on this story and post chapters as I get them done. Hope you enjoy. In all my excitement I forgot that every single Pony in Equestria only remembers Nightmare Moon as an evil villain hell-bent on making the night last forever. I also quickly realized that I felt tired from flying for probably about 5 minutes, which leads me to believe while I may have the memories on how to use magic and how to fly, it doesn't mean that I have the experience to do either of them for anything more than just basic stuff. "FUCK and I was excited to have a pinky party!" I yelled at myself realizing my own stupidity. 'I mean really what was I thinking, that I was just going to fly down and everyone was just going to be like 'Hey it's Nightmare Moon let's throw her party'. Taking a few deep breaths to calm myself down, I looked back at the castle I decided to make camp inside of it, I mean if it rains at least I'd have someplace that was protected from the forces of nature. I decided to practice my macgic on some of the rocks that were everywhere. My mood picked up when I tried levitating a decent sized rock and found that it moved with ease, it was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. However when I tried to pick something up that was the same size as me it was harder and took more concentration but I was able to move it, I couldn't move it far maybe 6 feet out and 4 feet up but I was able to throw it pretty far, it felt like I was training to be a Jedi. When I tried to pick up something that was bigger than me I couldn't even lift it an inch. I attempted some other spells for a few hours like teleportation, trying to get a spark of Fire to come out of my horn, and trying to change myself into any of the three tribes. Out of all of those the only one I was able to do was the spark of fire, when I tried to transform the spell just fizzled out and the teleportation launched me backwards. So there goes the idea of me turning into a different pony to visit Ponyville and having a convenient escape spell. Though I did find out I could turn into mist, I don't know if that's magic or just something Nightmare Moon can do, either way it was a little weird and cool being a sentient cloud of mist. It was getting late, my only indication of that was that the sun was starting to set, so I went about gathering sticks, twigs, leaves and branches. The sticks, twigs, and leaves were for a fire and the branches were to make a tent out of the old banners. After I made my little camp, which took me a half hour, I gathered some more leaves, put them under the tent, got some more banners down and made a makeshift bed. It kind of looked like this. After that I lit the fire and just kind of stared into the flames as my thoughts began to race in my head. 'Okay got to think, got to think. How do I go about introducing myself to the ponies of Ponyville without them freaking out? *sigh* The only thing I can think of is going to Celestia and Luna and talking to them but that also would most likely lead to being tackled by guards, being hit with high-powered Magic from either of the sisters, or both.' I sighed again as almost every thing I thought of turned out ending the same way, with me getting attacked. 'WILL YOU STOP MOPING! If we're going to share a body like I did with Luna than act respectable and with grace.' a voice said. I was taken by surprise when I heard someone's voice. I started looking around the room to try and find them when my find registered what had been said "share a body" and "like Luna". But if the person said that then that would mean that was... 'Nightmare Moon'. 'Yes, that is my name and I'd appreciate it if you didn't ruin it with your bad ideas.' Nightmare said with exasperation. "Where-are-you?-Are-you-in-the-room? *Gasp* ARE-YOU-A-GHOST?" I asked quickly. 'First space your sentences so that they're not a garbled mess. And to answer your questions, yes I'm in the room, no I'm not a ghost, and in you head. You don't have to talk out loud, you just think it and I'll hear it. Unless your not talking to me I can't hear what your thinking and it also works in reverse.' I heard her say in a deadpan voice. 'Your in my head...why?' I asked with with cautious curiosity. 'As I said before, this is OUR body. When the elements hit me they could tell that I had changed and decided to give me a second chance, but since I've never had my own body they had to make me one or that's what I thought theyed do. Instead they used their power to bring someone to our world that was like Luna and compatible with me so that we could share a body.' '.....Ok, well that at least answered some of the questions that I have, but it leaves me with new ones. Like for example, what do you mean that you've changed?' '1,000 years on the moon is a long time to think about your life choices. During the 1st Century on the moon, Luna and I didn't speak to each other and if we did talk it was mainly us arguing and yelling at each other. Going into the second century of us on the moon we both kind of calmed down we started to talk to each other a little bit more little less yelling, I think we both subconsciously realized that if we didn't speak to each other we were both going to lose our minds from the isolation. As we began talking to each other and getting to actually know each other, Luna realized that I may have been born from her jealousy and anger towards Celestia but I had developed into my own pony, I was my own being the separate conscious and mind from her own. The more we talked to each other, the better we understood each other and the more we began to like each other we realize that we weren't so different. During our time on the Moon both her and my own anger toward Celestia had died down, we were still very much annoyed with her though. We began to think of a way to get back at her, a prank but it had to be a good one. Going into our fifth century on the moon, Discord decided to try to help us. Receive we had found out early on that Discord could talk to us and us to him, apparently if to being a hit with the Elements of Harmony and sealed and door banished they can communicate I'm still not entirely sure how but I give us someone else to talk to. Discovered also wanted to get back at silicea with a prank, we had convinced him to give up trying to take over the world and Equestria and turning it into nothing but chaos. It took a long time to convince him to give up on turning Equestria into the chaos capital of the world, eventually we agreed that he could play pranks on whoever he wished as long as no one got hurt and he fixed what he messed with. Do not even came up with the idea of him opening up a chaos Carnival, where he could use his magic as much as you wanted for others enjoyment. He actually quite lovely idea. Anyway we had finally come up with our plan upon fine and Luna's return you would act as if nothing had changed week of this huge speech about the loneliness of the Moon, how we cried for her to bring us back home, how we apologized everyday, and that eventually we gave into madness. And when we saw the look upon her face which would be priceless, we'd boop her on her nose and say 'Gotcha. And the day that Discord returned he would mess with silly pretend like nothing had changed for him either, turn some random down into the chaos capital, 'mind control us' against her and when she came to put a stop to it he and I would both booper on the nose again and say the same thing that I said to her. It would have been hilarious, when she realize that not only did she get her sister and hopefully a new one back from the moon she would also get her best friend back as well. However things did not go according to plan, when Luna and I we're returning from our banishment to the Moon something went wrong I still do not know what but Luna was renewed on conscience and my mind was reset to the moment before we were blasted to the moon. I did not retain my memories until the new elements barriers we're blasting Laura and I are with the elements of harmony. And I am unsure if Luna has regained her memories of our time together on the moon.' '...Well that answers even more questions but also brings up one more question, how do I know that your telling me the truth?' 'If I was lying I'd be screaming at you to give me control of our body or trying to take control forcefully. The only thing I could think of as a response was, 'Fair enough.' 'So what do we do now?' I asked with interest. 'Since you have already begun practicing magic, I will become you teacher on how to use our new alicorn body. So get some sleep because your training will be hard. I will also hide your dreams from Luna so that she doesn't know we are here until we can determine whether or not she has her memories. The only thing that went through my head as I laid down on my makeshift bed and I slowly drifted off to sleep was, 'Well this just got interesting.' I have an unexpected meeting with Ponyville 1 Month Later So, it has been an interesting month with Mooney teaching me magic, how to fly, and helping me translate something's from my old life to this one. Three specific things that I was most concerned about were the piano, violin, and Aikido lessons that I had taken and were taking. I had taken piano lessons for the last 4 years, I've taken violin lessons since I was 7 years old, and I've taken Aikido lessons for the last 8 years. I really didn't want all that practice to go to waste, lucky for me Mooney is amazing. She's been going through my memories and applying what I asked for and what she thinks could help us to our new bodies muscles so that it will be easier to recall and do. She is added in my cooking skills that I got from my mother and also the time I spent in Girl Scouts. Unfortunately, she also came across everything My Little Pony related in my memories..... which is a lot. It took me a little while to fully explain to her what her world was like where I come from granted the memories helped explaining it a lot more than me just talking to her. I still can't believe that my world is nothing but a means to entertain children. "Don't be like that, you seen all the stories that I've read regarding you you know that there's a nice fan base for you." True, my favorite so far is the one titled 'Past Sins' it is a pleasant and enjoyable story. "That's the spirit." But other than that the month has gone by quite pleasantly. I feel stronger than I did when I first got here despite the fact that Mooney has told me that we aren't getting proper nutrients right now and that we're little malnourished, we're doing ok. I can now lift 2 rocks roughly the same size as me at the same time for about 10 minutes, I can lift a rock roughly half my size, and I can sustain flight for about a half hour at a leisurely pace. It may not be very impressive, but for someone that was a different species and had no natural capabilities or flight capabilities I think it's pretty good. Currently I was having a nice little stroll through the woods. I have been avoiding Zecora's Hut by any means necessary so that I can actually run into her, the last thing I need right now is her going to Ponyville and the town starting a Witch Hunt. As I was heading back to my campsite I heard something in the distance. (high pitched scream) I looked and Direction it was coming from and decided to follow it. Why are we following the sound of screams "Because someone could be in trouble and we might be able to help them." I'm not so sure that would be a good idea, you do not have enough experience to properly use your magic, flight, or strength to their full capabilities "We are still going to see who screamed and if we can help them." Very well With that conversation taken care of I quickened by pace, about 10 minutes later we came to a clearing and in the clearing was a pack of timber wolves, a manticore, and three little fillies in a tree. The Cutie Mark Crusaders we're surrounded by menacing creatures and they look up, and that is when my anger snapped. "Leave them alone!" I yelled getting everyone's attention. I through a bunch of rocks at them to get them to come after me and leave the girls alone. It worked because they started charging me. I quickly changed into my Miss form. Past them flew up grabbed Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, and Scootaloo put them on my back and started booking it through the forest. "Which way to town?" I yelled as I ran "Take a right at that big rock and keeping going straight!" Applebloom yelled with clear panic in her voice. As I was running I change the glass back and saw that the Manticore and the pack of timber wolves were still chasing us, I put all the strength I could muster into running faster. I'm not sure how long I was running just as we broke the tree line to Ponyville I felt something bite onto my back left leg and I went tumbling down to the ground, no girls full off my back a couple feet away from me. "Run to town as fast as you can I will hold them off!" I screamed at them, they seemed hesitant at first but complied. I sighed again as almost every thing I thought of turned out ending the same way, with me getting attacked. 'WILL YOU STOP MOPING! If we're going to share a body like I did with Luna than act respectable and with grace.' a voice said. I was taken by surprise when I heard someone's voice. I started looking around the room to try and find them when my find registered what had been said "share a body" and "like Luna". But if the person said that then that would mean that was... 'Nightmare Moon'. 'Yes, that is my name and I'd appreciate it if you didn't ruin it with your bad ideas.' Nightmare said with exasperation. "Where-are-you?-Are-you-in-the-room? *Gasp* ARE-YOU-A-GHOST?" I asked quickly. 'First space your sentences so that they're not a garbled mess. And to answer your questions, yes I'm in the room, no I'm not a ghost, and in you head. You don't have to talk out loud, you just think it and I'll hear it. Unless your not talking to me I can't hear what your thinking and it also works in reverse.' I heard her say in a deadpan voice. 'Your in my head...why?' I asked with with cautious curiosity. 'As I said before, this is OUR body. When the elements hit me they could tell that I had changed and decided to give me a second chance, but since I've never had my own body they had to make me one or that's what I thought theyed do. Instead they used their power to bring someone to our world that was like Luna and compatible with me so that we could share a body.' '.....Ok, well that at least answered some of the questions that I have, but it leaves me with new ones. Like for example, what do you mean that you've changed?' '1,000 years on the moon is a long time to think about your life choices. During the 1st Century on the moon, Luna and I didn't speak to each other and if we did talk it was mainly us arguing and yelling at each other. Going into the second century of us on the moon we both kind of calmed down we started to talk to each other a little bit more little less yelling, I think we both subconsciously realized that if we didn't speak to each other we were both going to lose our minds from the isolation. As we began talking to each other and getting to actually know each other, Luna realized that I may have been born from her jealousy and anger towards Celestia but I had developed into my own pony, I was my own being the separate conscious and mind from her own. The more we talked to each other, the better we understood each other and the more we began to like each other we realize that we weren't so different. During our time on the Moon both her and my own anger toward Celestia had died down, we were still very much annoyed with her though. We began to think of a way to get back at her, a prank but it had to be a good one. Going into our fifth century on the moon, Discord decided to try to help us. Receive we had found out early on that Discord could talk to us and us to him, apparently if to being a hit with the Elements of Harmony and sealed and door banished they can communicate I'm still not entirely sure how but I give us someone else to talk to. Discovered also wanted to get back at silicea with a prank, we had convinced him to give up trying to take over the world and Equestria and turning it into nothing but chaos. It took a long time to convince him to give up on turning Equestria into the chaos capital of the world, eventually we agreed that he could play pranks on whoever he wished as long as no one got hurt and he fixed what he messed with. Do not even came up with the idea of him opening up a chaos Carnival, where he could use his magic as much as you wanted for others enjoyment. He actually quite lovely idea. Anyway we had finally come up with our plan upon fine and Luna's return you would act as if nothing had changed week of this huge speech about the loneliness of the Moon, how we cried for her to bring us back home, how we apologized everyday, and that eventually we gave into madness. And when we saw the look upon her face which would be priceless, we'd boop her on her nose and say 'Gotcha. And the day that Discord returned he would mess with silly pretend like nothing had changed for him either, turn some random down into the chaos capital, 'mind control us' against her and when she came to put a stop to it he and I would both booper on the nose again and say the same thing that I said to her. It would have been hilarious, when she realize that not only did she get her sister and hopefully a new one back from the moon she would also get her best friend back as well. However things did not go according to plan, when Luna and I we're returning from our banishment to the Moon something went wrong I still do not know what but Luna was renewed on conscience and my mind was reset to the moment before we were blasted to the moon. I did not retain my memories until the new elements barriers we're blasting Laura and I are with the elements of harmony. And I am unsure if Luna has regained her memories of our time together on the moon.' '...Well that answers even more questions but also brings up one more question, how do I know that your telling me the truth?' 'If I was lying I'd be screaming at you to give me control of our body or trying to take control forcefully. The only thing I could think of as a response was, 'Fair enough.' 'So what do we do now?' I asked with interest. 'Since you have already begun practicing magic, I will become you teacher on how to use our new alicorn body. So get some sleep because your training will be hard. I will also hide your dreams from Luna so that she doesn't know we are here until we can determine whether or not she has her memories. The only thing that went through my head as I laid down on my makeshift bed and I slowly drifted off to sleep was, 'Well this just got interesting.'
I have an unexpected meeting with PonyvilleAuthor's Note I am so sorry that this is taking me so long to get out. I also thank everyone that it's had the patience to wait I plan on making updates to the story at least once a month from now on. Work has been bad and a lot of stuff has been going on in my personal life, everything is working out better now though which is why I'm very optimistic for the future of this story and Other Stories that I am writing and planning on writing. So with that all out of the way I hope you enjoy this chapter! I have an unexpected meeting with Ponyville 1 Month Later So, it has been an interesting month with Mooney teaching me magic, how to fly, and helping me translate something's from my old life to this one. Three specific things that I was most concerned about were the piano, violin, and Aikido lessons that I had taken and were taking. I had taken piano lessons for the last 4 years, I've taken violin lessons since I was 7 years old, and I've taken Aikido lessons for the last 8 years. I really didn't want all that practice to go to waste, lucky for me Mooney is amazing. She's been going through my memories and applying what I asked for and what she thinks could help us to our new bodies muscles so that it will be easier to recall and do. She is added in my cooking skills that I got from my mother and also the time I spent in Girl Scouts. Unfortunately, she also came across everything My Little Pony related in my memories..... which is a lot. It took me a little while to fully explain to her what her world was like where I come from granted the memories helped explaining it a lot more than me just talking to her. I still can't believe that my world is nothing but a means to entertain children. "Don't be like that, you seen all the stories that I've read regarding you you know that there's a nice fan base for you." True, my favorite so far is the one titled 'Past Sins' it is a pleasant and enjoyable story. "That's the spirit." But other than that the month has gone by quite pleasantly. I feel stronger than I did when I first got here despite the fact that Mooney has told me that we aren't getting proper nutrients right now and that we're little malnourished, we're doing ok. I can now lift 2 rocks roughly the same size as me at the same time for about 10 minutes, I can lift a rock roughly half my size, and I can sustain flight for about a half hour at a leisurely pace. It may not be very impressive, but for someone that was a different species and had no natural capabilities or flight capabilities I think it's pretty good. Currently I was having a nice little stroll through the woods. I have been avoiding Zecora's Hut by any means necessary so that I can actually run into her, the last thing I need right now is her going to Ponyville and the town starting a Witch Hunt. As I was heading back to my campsite I heard something in the distance. (high pitched scream) I looked and Direction it was coming from and decided to follow it. Why are we following the sound of screams "Because someone could be in trouble and we might be able to help them." I'm not so sure that would be a good idea, you do not have enough experience to properly use your magic, flight, or strength to their full capabilities "We are still going to see who screamed and if we can help them." Very well With that conversation taken care of I quickened by pace, about 10 minutes later we came to a clearing and in the clearing was a pack of timber wolves, a manticore, and three little fillies in a tree. The Cutie Mark Crusaders we're surrounded by menacing creatures and they look up, and that is when my anger snapped. "Leave them alone!" I yelled getting everyone's attention. I through a bunch of rocks at them to get them to come after me and leave the girls alone. It worked because they started charging me. I quickly changed into my Miss form. Past them flew up grabbed Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, and Scootaloo put them on my back and started booking it through the forest. "Which way to town?" I yelled as I ran "Take a right at that big rock and keeping going straight!" Applebloom yelled with clear panic in her voice. As I was running I change the glass back and saw that the Manticore and the pack of timber wolves were still chasing us, I put all the strength I could muster into running faster. I'm not sure how long I was running just as we broke the tree line to Ponyville I felt something bite onto my back left leg and I went tumbling down to the ground, no girls full off my back a couple feet away from me. "Run to town as fast as you can I will hold them off!" I screamed at them, they seemed hesitant at first but complied. Are you sure you wish to do this, our back leg is currently bleeding rather badly and you don't have that much stamina left "Can you keep us going long enough to drive them off?" I can give you about 10 minutes that's it "That's fine, alright let's do this thing!" 3rd POV It was a lovely day in the town of Ponyville the Sun was shining bird could be heard chirping, the Mane Six and Spike we're walking Forest Park to enjoy a picnic when they heard shouting from the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Telling everyone how I met her was fighting off Timberwolves and a manticore just outside of town after she rescued them from the everfree forest. Needless to say the entire town was worried, and so were the main six they all ran out see if they could help the mare as the CMC lead them. Needless to say when they got there they were surprised what they saw, Nightmare Moon fighting off Timberwolves and a manticore. None of them could believe your eyes at what they were seeing, she was ripping chunks of the earth out of the ground and hurling them at her targets as she danced around them by turning into mist. By this point the whole town was watching wide-eyed and open-mouthed chocolate chip pancakes and they were even more surprised that she was winning. Zoey's POV https://m. After the CMC left I turned my attention to the Timberwolf that was only a few feet away from me that I'm assuming he's the one that bit my leg what's the strength Nighty was giving me I ripped a chunk of the earth out of the ground and threw it at its head. I was also grateful for the music that Nighty chose to play it was really good for this fight. As I was fighting the Timberwolves and dodging the sting of the Manticore I heard, the best I could describe it as a stampede. I glanced at where the sound was coming from and saw what I'm assuming is it the entire town or watching me fight. That little distraction was all the Manticore needed to get me in my side, I screamed in pain then pain in my back legs into the ground grabbed its tail with my front Hooves took the stinger out and started spinning. This took the Manticore by surprise and the Timberwolves by surprise and I started hitting the Manticore against the Timberwolves all while screaming profanities. "Motherfucker, why did you fucking stab me with your stinger?!?! That fucking hurt?!" While I was spinning I noticed the Timberwolves retreated back into the woods so as I came around I let go of the Manticore right into the woods. I dropped on all fours and was huffing. And then I felt a numbing sensation originating from the spot Manticore stung me, stuff started to go blurry and then I was on my side. "Spike! Send this letter to the princesses now!" "We need to get her to Ponyville General!" I couldn't make out who was saying what as everything started to go blurry and dim, and sound started to leave me. Zoey hold on I'm doing what I can to heal us but you need to stay with me......ZOEY I didn't hear anything after that I'm just before my consciousness left me last thing I thought was, This isn't how I wanted to introduce myself to Ponyville.
