Author's Note
My second public story is now up!
New place
Lilly sat in the back of the limo with a pout on her face. She was being transferred her freshman year to this stupid public school that her sisters' worked at. She was perfectly happy with her private school life now she had to go to this stupid new school with her stupid older sisters'. She felt the car slow as the driver pulled into the driveway of her new home.
"We're here miss" said the driver. Lilly rolled her eyes and opened the door. She slung her bag over her shoulder as she slammed the door. She only needed the one bag because she always had uniforms at her school so she owned very little clothes. She stared at the note on the door.
'Dear Lillian,
We had to go grocery shopping. Sorry we aren't there. We sent you the key last week just in case we weren't here. Your room is the one that has your name in the glitter letters. We're so excited to see you though.
Love you lots,
Celestia and Luna'
"Of course. I show up and they're not even here" Lilly scoffed digging through her bag pulling out the silver key. She inserted it into the lock turning it til the lock clicked. She opened the door and stepped in with a sigh. She closed the door locking it back. She looked around deciding exploring was the first thing on her list. She found the living room easily because it had an empty arch showing it off. The couches were black leather. There was a flat screen TV mounted on the wall. She left that room and then found the kitchen that led to the living room.
'Wow! This kitchen is huge' thought Lilly as stood in the center of the kitchen. She liked the elegant design of the dining room. She went back to the foyer. She went upstairs surprised at how many rooms there were. Lilly found three closed doors. The doors went Celestia, Lillian, and Luna. She opened Celestia's door staring at the room. The room had white floors and white walls. The bedspread had a sun on it. It was very bright and cheerful. She closed the door then moved onto Luna's room. She opened the door seeing a black wall and a dark blue carpet. She saw stars on her ceiling and her bed cover had a crescent moon on it. She closed Luna's door and went to hers. She opened the door seeing a white wall with a hard wood floor with a gray rug around the bed. She sat her bag on the floor and sat on the bed. She saw two doors that she assumed were the bathroom and closet. She laid down on top of her bed. She curled up in a tight little ball falling asleep. It didn't feel like long before she was gently shaken. She groaned turning away hearing a giggle.
"Wake up sleepyhead" she heard a voice say. She opened up her eyes seeing a woman with rainbow hair staring down at her.
"Go away" she mumbled tiredly.
"Nope" Celestia said lifting Lilly up in a sitting position. Lilly groaned falling backwards. Celestia sighed picking Lilly up and putting her on the cold floor.
"Agggh" squealed Lilly standing up. She glared at Celestia. "Jerk" she grumbled crossing her arms.
"I told you to get up" Celestia shrugged before chiding Lilly"Lillian we do not call names. You are 14 years old you should know this by now."
"Whatever" griped Lilly stretching out. "What did you want" she asked softly.
"It's time for dinner" said Celestia standing up. Lilly had gotten here a little after lunch so the fact she had been asleep for so long was shocking.
"I'm not hungry" Lilly said quietly.
"Are you sure?" asked Celestia
"I'm sure" said Lilly making Celestia sigh and head downstairs to Luna to talk. Lilly sat on her bed turning on her phone. She visibly paled seeing the text messages from her boyfriend. He was always so controlling and sometimes hit her when he was angry. She opened up his texts reading them.
'Where are you'
'Are you cheating on me'
'YOU WHORE'
'ANSWER ME NOW!!!!'
'Sorry I fell asleep' she texted.
'Send me a pic of where you are right now. Have your right thumb up in it' he texted back immediately.
Lilly took the picture and sent it before turning off her phone. She sighed rubbing her eyes still feeling exhausted. She picked up a remote off her bedside table and pressed the on button. She put on Rugrats before turning it down low. She always fell asleep listening to the low murmur of a TV show. She closed her eyes hearing the soft rumble. That night she dreamed or rather had a nightmare. She woke up shaking and sobbing at 2 in the morning. She curled up in a ball her hand over her mouth to muffle her cries. She got up and opened her window slightly. She sat on the window sill staring at the stars. She hummed a lullaby she was taught when she was little, before her mom and sent her off. She clenched her fists thinking about it. She hated what they had done so much. She never should to have been put in that position but she was. She had had her first period, her first recital and her first boyfriend without them. She had never had to sneak out to parties because they were never there. She had had so much freedom but never liked it. She had to be someone else completely because she couldn't find a reason to be herself. Hell even if she had stayed she would still be a freak. She would always be that. The lonely little, pathetic piece of space. The idiotic girl who struggled in class daily to not have a breakdown. The spoiled brat who always got what she wanted. The girl who starved herself without anyone ever knowing.
