Meanwhile in Miami, Florida…3 bronies were all hanging at Tom Smith’s house. Tom Smith, Jerry Higgs, and Steve Chairlord were all best brony friends forever.
“Hey Tom,” said Jerry.
“What?”
“Did you hear about the news,” Steve said as he popped into the conversation.
“What news?”
“The news that the zombie apocalypse has happened!”
“What are you guys talking about? Have you been going crazy?”
“No. Come here and watch the news!”
The three of them went over to the tv in Tom’s living room.
Reporter: This is Martha Gummingham reporting live in Miami, Florida. Apparently there has been another zombie attach at Miami Beach. A rabid man ran up to a young scholar and bit off a huge chunk of flesh off her face. This women then got up and began to run after more people. OH SHIT! NO! NO! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-.
The screen went black. The reporter was attacked on live television.
“Ok! WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON,” Tom yelled as he backed from the tv.
“Tom I told you the zombies would come soon. All we have to do is take your dad’s gun and hide in your basement until we decide what to do.”
“JERRY!? How could you? That gun is more than my dad’s 12 gage. When he died he told me to take good care of it-“
“Yes, which is why we need to take good care of it to fucking survive! Look Tom if we don’t have that gun of yours, we’re not gonna have our lives!”
“Ohh fuck…this is just too much. HOW CAN A ZOMBIE APPOCOLYPSE ACTUALLY BE REAL!? WHY MAN? WHY? What do you think Steve?”
“Well Tom. I do agree with you. And Jerry put the gun down. This isn’t Fallout 3 dudes. If we want to survive we need to get to the highest building in Florida, then set up camp, and then wait for a helicopter to pick us up.”
“Well right now we just need to stay inside! Okay…conversation over!”
1 MONTH LATER: THE PRESIDENT’S SECRET BUNKER
It had been one week since the small attack at Miami Beach. Most of the people in that area were killed and infected. The beach is filled with zombies and most of Tallahassee is to. The virus spread quickly throughout America and most of the people were now zombies. But the 3 bronies still lived. Tom, Steve, and Jerry have just been hiding in there basement with all the food they could find and a tv/dvd player with season 1 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Right now in the President’s secret bunker in Alaska, something big was about to change history.
` “Mr. President. It’s time to choose. Nuke em’…………or Ponies?”
The President just took the two boxes. One was just a single switch that would send nuclear warheads all over America…and one was a simple telephone that called Princess Celestia in Equestria for help. The President stood in front of the table for hours. He didn’t know what to do. If he nuked America then 90% of all civilians would die…and that would ruin America. But if he sent ponies out to help them, it would cause a huge media outbreak about aliens in space and there would be no way the government could stop the people from going insane. But the President finally made up his mind. He lowered his thumb down and slowly lifted up the switch cover. Sweat rolled down his face. His dark skin was turning red as his finger got closer and closer to the button. Right as the President was about to push the nuke he let go, wheezing a huge relived sigh. He couldn’t destroy America, so he grabbed the huge phone which looked like a leather brick. And suddenly a mystical voice came through.
“Hello, this is Princess Celestia.”
“We…need…the ponies.”
Right then and there, Celestia’s face lit up with blushes of anxiety and nervousness. A cold chill went down her spine. She gulped.
“Ok Mr. President…give me the exact location for the ponies and they’ll be there as fast as possible.”
“Miami, Florida.”
“Okay thank you for your time Mr. President.”
Princess Celestia sighed very deeply. She decided to send the bravest ponies in all of Equestria to go to Earth and save it. It was time for Celestia to choose because she didn’t have much time. It was about 20 minutes until Celestia decided to make up her mind. She chose Rainbow Dash because of her determines, Apple Jack because of here honest and brave attitude and Twilight Sparkle because of her intelligent logic and reasoning with difficult situations. She decided to write a private message to all of the ponies.
“Dear pony of Equestria,
Our fellow planet Earth is in great danger. You and two other ponies are to be commanded to go to Earth and help them with any situation until they are finally humane again. If you decline, you will be punished on further a due.
Yours Truly,
Princess Celestia”
Princess Celestia sent three copies of this letter to Twilight, Rainbow, and Apple Jack. For they had no idea what was happening. Twilight Sparkle was organizing books in her library, Apple Jack was making and apple pie for dinner to come, and Rainbow Dash was flying with Scootaloo. The note pooped in the faces of all three ponies. They picked it up and began to read. By the time they were finished, they all yelled a simultaneous “WHAT!”
The three ponies rushed to the castle as fast as they could. They arrived on time.
“Ok girls. What your about to embark on is a task like no other. I just want you to know that no matter what, you cannot lose your friendship by any means on Earth because you will be lost without anyone. So I’m going to open the portal and you’re going to Miami Florida. So be ready for anything!”
“Miami, Florida,” questioned Rainbow Dash.
“Yes Rainbow. Florida is a land in America that is very hot and is very populated. I’ve read all about Earth in my studies.”
“Well would g’a quit talkin, we got a planet to save here.”
“Yes that’s right Apple Jack. Now girls it’s time for you to go.”
Princess Celestia opened the portal to Earth and said farewell as each pony bowed down to her. When the portal closed, all the ponies were in. Inside the portal it was very purple and had strokes of blue light on the sides. They all could see light. It got closer and closer until they all fell out of the portal and landed on the cool sand of Miami Beach.
“WOW! This is way different than Ponyville,” Rainbow Dash dropped her mouth in amazement of Earth.
“I know Rainbow. It’s just as my studies predicted it…well not really. It’s very cloudy and dark, and with a slight sign of potential overcast-“
“Twilight, Rainbow, would yah looky here. It’s a human. Hi there! I’m Apple JacK!”
Twilight and Rainbow walked closer to the human with Apple Jack. What they didn’t know was that the “human” was actually a zombie. They approached its presence.
“Hi I’m Twilight Sparkle. I’m from Equestria. How about y-“
The zombie looked at all three of the ponies and began to chase them. They saw the blood dripping off his face and began running. Twilight did a quick shield spell that kept the zombie from attacking them. While the zombie was trying to break the barrier, Rainbow Dash slid out and was going for a sneak attack on the zombie. She sped up into the sky and the bolted to the standing target. “So much for saying hi.” Rainbow Dash went faster and stronger until finally she punched the left cheek of the zombies face, sending him into a mild concussion.
“Ugh…nice one Rainbow. Thanks for saving us.”
“No problamo. But still we need to get outa here. Well at least off this beach.”
“Yah don’t say Rainbow. May’be…what if these humans are…are…ZOMBIES!”
“Well that’s an idea AJ. I’m beginning to guess that Princess Celestia sent us here to stop them. But why us? How will we be able to stop a whole country from being eaten alive by zombies. This is the most confusing thing I’ve ever-“
“Twilight please. You need to calm down. Heh…you turn yourself into a zombie from all this talking. But look, we have to get out of here, and we have to get out of here now.”
Rainbow Dash kicked her front hoof up. “So are you with, or without me?” With a determined look in Rainbow’s eyes her hoof became agreed with as Twilight and Apple Jack put there’s in together. They were ready to save the world…again. And with that said, the ponies went out cautiously down the road of Miami to find were to begin.
THE FOLLOWING DAY: TOM’S HOUSE
“Ok Tom. It’s about time that we get serious. I mean we watched all the mlp episodes twice and we’re running low on food. We need to go out there and raid. C’mon lets go rob a 7eleven like we always wanted to do.”
“DUDE SHUT UP! My mom is a zombie, my dad is dead, and now I’m living here with you two assholes in my basement alone. The last thing we need to think about is food.”
“But Tom, Jerry’s right. We’re gonna end up starving if we don’t go out and thrive the corner store. Dude you gotta get it together. My parents are probably dead to. Now we have your dad’s gun, let’s go raid.
It had been a while since Tom and the others had been outside. Tom barely remembered what his neighborhood looked like. But he still remembered most of the street names. He crept slowly up the basement stairs along with Steve and Jerry. Tom was carrying his dad’s 12 gage shotgun in his hand. The others had metal baseball bats. The house was clean…well of zombies. Tom peeked out of the window blind. He saw no sign of zombies. He walked to the door and the boys followed. He opened the door and as e did: *BOOOM* “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” The impact of the shotgun blew Tom into the arms of Steven’s hands. “DUDE! You shot that zombie decoration from Halloween.”
“Wait the one that lights up when you walk by it?”
“Yah, you shot it!”
Tom looked up. He had mistaken a zombie decoration (that was never packed up) for a real-life zombie. Everyone sighed as they walked out into the “wild.” It smelled boring and untouched outside. They could see the 7eleven right around the corner. There were no zombies in sight so it felt like the average walk. The door was slightly open just enough for a mouse to fit through. Finally everyone was in the store.
“Ok Steve, you take the chips. Jerry, you take the energies. And I’ll take the drinks.”
“Got it.”
“Got it.”
They spent about 10 minutes in the store taking all the necessary food they needed. They felt quite nervous because none of them had ever stolen more than a candy bar. They were finally all finished. They would’ve taken more if they didn’t bring weapons but they were ready to go. Right as everyone walked out of the store, the bell on rang. There was a long silence…AND THEN A ZOMBIE POPPED OUT FROM THE REGISTER!
“Oh…shit. I’m sure that’s not a Halloween decoration.”
The zombie leaped over the counter clumsily and fell to the floor. As is slowly got up, Tom shot his gun and fell back into the window. The window broke causing a big uproar as Tom fell out like an action movie.
“Well don’t just stand there. KILL IT!”
Steve and Jerry dropped their food and ran over with their baseball bats. They began beating the zombie until its face looked like squashed potatoes. Blood was everywhere. It was dripping off the baseball bats and don’t even get me started about the floor. The trio picked up there food again and ran as fast as they could to get back home.
On the other hand, the ponies had made their way through Miami with little zombie encounters. They were now on the same street that Tom lived on. Tom’s house was very close to the beach and lived on one of the main roads, so it wasn’t that much of a coincidence that the ponies found it.
“Dude…Tom? What’s those things in the distance. Ones blue, purple, and orange.”
“What are you talking about? Are you on drugs or something?”
“No. Tom look!”
Tom squeezed his eyes towards the end of the block. It looked something like a pony. What?! It couldn’t be. Tom was so confused. He ran and ran very fast. Speeding past his friends. He finally came face to face with Rainbow Dash. Tom twitched, and twitched, and a small tear came down his neck. He was so amazed…he saw his dream right in front of him. Tom’s eyes blurred until he finally blacked out right in front of the three ponies.
