"Dear Celestia, Spike! I'm not spending years learning how to make gems!" Twilight seethed, trotting quickly towards the library.
"why Twilight? It would be so much cheaper just to learn the spell and never buy gems again!" spike retorted. He walked into the library with a stack of books just taller than he was and let them drop to the floor.
"Spike, it would cost thousands of bits i don't have! I'm not learning the gem generation spell and that's FINAL!" Twilight sits on her couch and levitates a quill and sheet of paper. "If you don't stop pestering me about gems i"m going to write that you're being a bad dragon in my next friendship report!" Spike shoots out of the room leaving twilight with just a smug grin and her writing utensils.
"ugh, now that that is over with i can finally begin writing my friendship report!" she readies her quill and paper and begins writing. Dear Celestia, I- just as she begins writing she gets interrupted by belching upstairs.
"Twilight! message from Celestia! Also, she sent some weird heavy box." spike yells while sprinting downstairs.
"Thank you spike, you may have one sapphire. ONE!" Twilight said sternly while unraveling the scroll. It read:
Dear Twilight Sparkle, I've sent a very peculiar metal box found by Luna and I. I wish for you to study it and learn more about this "war thunder" it contains. Please Do this quickly, as Day court will soon keep me from receiving your message. If you do not respond quickly it will go into the Royal mail bin, where it will probably never be seen again. -Your Friend and Mentor Celestia.
"War Thunder? Sounds dangerous. But it is a task from Celestia, so I will study this box." twilight says while opening the strange device. "Alienware 17? Oh my Celestia! This is Alien technology?! I cant wait to see what it does!" twilight says Excitedly while clapping her hooves. She presses the power button, causing the device to ramp up it's fans. that startles twilight, causing her to fall off her seat. "What was that?! Why would it make such a loud noise?"
Soon enough the device opens Windows, which twilight finds intriguing. She uses her magic to scan the device and figure out how to operate it. "Hmm, it seems that this square on the bottom of this big typewriter moves the pointy-thing that works the GUI, whatever that is." Twilight surrounds the small square in her magic aura, and moves the pointer to the right, then on top of the war thunder icon.
Twilight jumps slightly as the screen goes black, flashes twice, and opens the login screen. "Hmm Goldnohms1? what an odd name for a user." She clicks login and it jumps to a picture of two boxy things with large explosions in the foreground and background. one boxy thing is significantly smaller than the other. "what are these? is this a slideshow of alien technology? that would be so cool!" the game then loads and focuses on a little boxy thing, the card on the bottom calls it: "M2A4". next to its card is another card, that says: "LVT (A) 1".
Twilight clicks on the button labelled BATTLE, and a map of the battlefield shows up. "Are these battle plans?" there is a grey spot with an "A" on it. and text to the left of the map states simply: Capture and defend the A point. "So i'm going on a capture and defend mission? Why me?" the screen goes black, and then fades to the Spawn in screen. "OK, so i got the controls from my magic scan, so what does this 'main gun' do?" Twilight then clicks the right button...
KABOOM! twilight yelps in fear at the loud noise, soon realizing that an explosion happened at the front of the box, she deducts that this must be a weapon of some sort. "Wait. IT'S A WEAPON? THAT EXPLODES? Why would anyone design such an evil killing machine?" twilight sighs sharply and says "at least its not real ponies" she then moves towards A to see one of her allies Explode she quietly yelps as the vehicle slowly burns. she quickly finds the Tetrarch that killed her ally and screams "DIE YOU BUCKING MURDERER!" as she fires a shell into his upper Glacis killing the driver, gunner, and commander in one shot, putting the tank out of action.
"Oh my Celestia. i just killed three ponies... wait. Those aren't ponies! They must be aliens! Oh Celestia I may have just started a wa- wait." Twilight then remembers that it isn't real. "oh sweet Luna, i thought i just started a war... Well, i might as well continue playing"
She then enters the game in the LVT and spawns in to find a dirty camping Russian, and promptly dispatches the BT-5 "Wow this is actually fun, i could play this more often" she then finishes the battle after destroying 5 enemy tanks, and losing the LVT in an exchange with a PZ III E.
After playing for a half hour she is invited for a 4v4 match. twilight takes her new M2A2 out and instantly gets bucked by a PZ IV C. "well so much for that piece of trash, i'm going to get them with my M2A4!" as soon as she spawns in her engine is immediately destroyed by an M2A4 and before Twilight can return fire, all of her crew members are killed. "BUCK!" she says as she takes her LVT and tries to turn to the attacker, but the player gets the jump on Twilights tank killing her driver and machine gunner, and starts an uncontrollable fire. "she watches in horror as the tank slowly burns, takind 7 painful seconds as the attacker relishes in their victory by driving around the dead LVT. "WHOEVER THAT IS IS A BUCKING WHORSE
