Well.... I guess I'll stay with.... Rainbow Dash? I think we'd be able to have a lot of fun together." I answer with a nod. "Me?" Rainbow Dash asks. "Yeah. If that's okay with you that is." "I mean it doesn't really bother me but can you even walk on clouds?" Rainbow Dash asks with a look of confusion. "No.... Why would that matter?" I ask back. "She lives in a cloud. If you can't walk on clouds then you can't really stay with her can you?" Twilight Sparkle asks. "That's true." I mumble. "I could just move my house to the ground I guess.... It'll really mess up my view of the sky but if I have to then I guess I can do it." Rainbow Dash finishes with a sigh. "I don't want to be a bother so I guess I'll just think of something else." I say as I scratch the back of my head in thought. "It's fine. I'll just push it here and it'll all be sorted. If it turns out that you're some boring bookworm then you're moving in with Twilight. Only the coolest get to live with me." Rainbow Dash says proudly. "I'm not very cool, in fact I'd call myself pretty damn UN cool." I explain. "Then you can stay with Twilight." "Rainbow!" Twilight nearly shouts. "Like I said only the coolest get to stay with me." "He's staying with you and that's that." Twilight says as she stomps a hoof. "FINE!" Rainbow Dash groans. "I'll move my house and let him live with me. Celestia damn it." Rainbow Dash turn around mumbling something under her breath as she slowly flies away with her forelegs crossed. "Well.... I never thought I'd be kicked out for being uncool...." "You won't be, now, she'll be back with the house soon so what do you want to do while we wait?" Twilight Sparkle asks. "I would like to see everything so I could get a good idea of where everything is." I answer. Twilight then nods her head, sits down and pulls a piece of paper from her mane and a pencil and starts to draw. "What ya drawing Twilight Sparkle?" I ask. "A map of the town. You pick the the places you want to see and I'll draw the route." She answers. "Okay.... How about Carousel Boutique? That place sounds pretty interesting." "He has a good taste. I like him already." Rarity says in a happy tone. "Do you like the Carousel Boutique Rarity?" I ask. "Oh of course! It wouldn't be very good if I didn't like my own establishment would it?" She answers with a smirk. "Wow. I didn't know you owned it. Okay, I'm more hyped to go now. I can't wait to see what kind of clothes you guys wear since... You know.... You're naked right now, so I'm guessing that being naked is normal since all of the other ponies I see are also naked." I ramble. "Ooooo! I like him already Twilight! Are you sure you don't want to stay with me Josh?" Rarity excitedly asks. "No thanks Rarity. If I lived with you then I would probably only get in the way of your shop." I say with a quick shake of my head. "That's such a shame.... i would've loved to have you stay with me.... Imagine all of the clothes I could've made with your help...." Rarity says as she pretend faints. I catch her just before she hits the ground. She flitters her eyelashes at me. "Oh won't you stay with little ol' me?" She asks in a sad voice. "Sorry Rarity, I already made Rainbow Dash move her house so I can't change my mind now even if I wanted to." I answer. "I can still come round and help you with some of your clothes if you want me to." "Oh yes! That would be magical darling. I will expect you to help me now so don't think that I'll forget." She says with a smile. I stand her back up. "I wouldn't forget. The reason I'm here is to help remember? So I'll be helping everyone." "Yer won' t be sayin' that after a few weeks. Some of us have ourselves some tough jobs." AppleJack points out. "No matter how tough the job is I'll help." "If yer sure." AppleJack mumbles. "I am." "I'm back! Did I miss anything?" Rainbow Dash asks. I turn around and behind me is a large house made of clouds with three rainbows coming out of the sides. "Well.... I'm not gonna lie.... I didn't expect your house to look like.... That." I mumble. "Cool right? The coolest house in equestria." Rainbow Dash says as she puffs her chest out proudly. "Yeah.... Cool...." I answer. "Now then. Who want's a house tour?" Rainbow Dash asks excitedly. "There's only one of us here who hasn't seen the inside of your house...." Twilight Sparkle sighs. "Thanks for ruining the moment. Anyway. Josh, you wan't a house tour?" Rainbow Dash asks. "Sure. I just want to take the tour of the town first, I think it'll really help me to get to know the surroundings." I explain. "Fiiiine." Rainbow Dash groans. "Oh yeah! Before I forget. I got you a welcome present Josh." Twilight Sparkle says as she floats a rectangle package from her mane. "Thanks." I smile as I open the package. "A diary? I'll use it as often as I can. Thanks Twilight." I smile. "I'm glad you like it. Why not write your first entry?" Twilight Sparkle asks. "Sure." I answer with a smile. I open the book and see pure white pages. "Anyone got a pen?" I ask. "Here you go." Twilight Says as she floats a pen out of her mane. "That place is like a mobile storage isn't it?" I joke. "Well it is good but it can't carry much." She jokes back. I start to write on the first page of the diary. 'Don't trust them. This all seems a bit too fishy, they're nice without knowing anything about me. I don't trust them for a second. I'm going to be watching my back the whole time. If they offer you any food or water. DON'T accept it. Don't sleep with them around, they could be looking to do something to me. I don't know what but, whatever it is, I'll be ready for it. Help level - 3/10 It'll stay that way until I start to trust them. I'll help them still but I'll be more cautious around them. Especially around the pink one. The ponies start to walk towards the town with me in tow. "You wanted to visit the Carousel Boutiqe first. Do you still want to go there first or do you want to go somewhere else first?" I answer. "Alright then, Rarity, do you want to show him the way?" Twilight asks. "Why of course, it's my buisness after all, it'd only be right if I was the one to show the way." Rarity answers. Rarity takes the lead at the front of the group and starts to lead us through the town. "So, what's the name of this place?" I ask. "Ponyville. It's a nice little town, much different compared to Canterlot, our main city." Twilight explains. "Really? How many ponies live here?" "There are about four hundred and fifty ponies here. Well that was the last time I checked so I'm not entirely sure." Twilight answers. "That's a lot of ponies." I mumble. 'A lot of ponies.... A lot of.... Witnesses. As long as I'm out here they wouldn't try anything. Unless.... This entire town is after me. I've seen people this nice before. They're about as trustworthy as a tumor.' "Are you okay? You keep mumbling to yourself like this. *mumble* *mumble*" Pinkie Pie imitates. "I'm fine, I'm just thinking to myself. It wasn't that long ago that I was dead, remember?" "Oh yeah!" Pinkie Pie laughs. 'Never let yourself be alone with her. NEVER.' After a few minutes of walking we arrive in front of a large building that looks like it was part of a carnival. "This is the Carousel Boutique. The place for fashion and upper class." Rarity says proudly. Rainbow Dash groans behind me. Rarity answers Rainbow Dash's groan with a glare. "Anyway. Shall I show you around?" Rarity asks. "Sure." I answer. Rarity leads me into the carnival style building. The walls are two tone pink, the top half is a light pink whilst the bottom half is a dark pink. There are a few arches with pony dummies within them, each with a different outfit on, each of the arches has a pink open curtain. "What do you think? I think the interior is marvelous wouldn't you agree?" Rarity asks with a look of excitement on her face. "It's very pink." I point out. "Why yes of course it is. Pink is a wonderful color don't you think?" "Pink is a nice color but I'm more of a fan of white. To me white is a color of beauty. The white rose, The Calla Lily and traditional wedding dresses." I answer. "You're not just saying that because my coat is white are you?" Rarity winks. "I would be lieing if I said that your white coat isn't beautiful." I smirk. "Flatterer." Rarity giggles. I can't help but feel relaxed around Rarity. "I won't be showing you the backroom because it's my little place of ideas. Don't want you stealing any of my ideas now." Rarity jokes. "Such a shame. I was hoping to steal your designs and become rich." I joke back. Rarity smiles happily as we talk. "Well, that's the tour. I know it's short but the showroom is all I can really show. Still, I hope you enjoyed yourself during my little tour." Rarity says with a smile as she leads me out. "It was fun for the short time that it went on." I reply. "So, where do you want to visit next?" Twilight Sparkle asks. "Fluttershy seems like a really nice pony, I'd like to get to know her a bit more. How about we visit your house Fluttershy?" "M-My house? I-I don't think you'll like it.... Or me...." Fluttershy whimpers. "Oh come on. You seem like a really nice pony, I'm pretty sure I'll like where you live and I'll like you." "O-Okay...." Fluttershy mumbles to herself. Fluttershy shuffles in place and looks at the ground. "We can go at your pace if you want Fluttershy." "Th-Thanks." Fluttershy whimpers. After waiting for a few seconds Fluttershy starts to walk towards the forest in the distance. Our group followed her towards the forest. After a few minutes of walking we arrive at a small cottage on the outskirts of the town, near the forest. "Is this your house Fluttershy?" I ask in as gentle a voice I can muster. "Y-Yeah.... I know it's not much." Fluttershy answers nervously. "I like it, it's really cozy looking." I reply. "Y-You think so?" Fluttershy asks with a slight smile. "Absolutely. It looks really homey." I answer. Fluttershy smiles at me then flies to her front door, she then opens it and heads inside leaving the door open for me to follow her in. The walls inside her house are brown with wooden chairs with green cushions on them, there are also two bookcases built into her walls. "It loosk really nice in here, really.... Calming." "I thought I was the only pony that thought that." Fluttershy replies with a smile. As soon as she finishes that sentence something hard and orange flies towards my forehead, bouncing off of it as soon as it hits my forehead. "The hell was that?" I ask as I rub my forehead where the carrot hit. "Angel!" Fluttershy "shouts" excitedly. In the doorway to her kitchen is a small white rabbit glaring at me. "So you throw that at me?" I ask with a groan. It nods it's head. "Well fuck you too." The white bunny looks at me in confusion. "I can already tell I'm never going to like you." I say shooting a glare back at the rabbit. The rabbit does a "I've got my eyes on you" gesture aimed at me, so I stick my middle finger up at him in retaliation. The rabbit glares at me before heading back into the kitchen. "I didn't get a welcome back hug from him...." Fluttershy whimpers. "Want me to give you one?" I ask jokingly. She nods her head nervously. "Really?" I ask in disbelief. She nods her head again. "I-I like to get one when I get home.... Because.... Because it help me calm down...." Fluttershy whimpers. I nod my head in understanding. I lower myself to my knees and hold my hands out to my sides signaling to Fluttershy that I'm "ready" to hug her. 'Holy shit am I nervous right now. She could easily attack me right here.... No one can see me, but for some reason I feel like she doesn't have it in her to randomly attack someone.' I think to myself. Fluttershy slowly walks towards me. As she reaches me she lightly pushes her head against my chest. I wrap my arms around the back of her head and lightly pull her head against my chest. After a few seconds I can hear Fluttershy quitely sigh into my chest. "Thank you, I really needed my welcome home hug." Fluttershy says as she rubs her head into my clothed chest. "It's okay, I'm always happy to help." I say with a smile. After what felt like a minute we separate, I then pull out my diary and write an entry into it. ---------------------------- Diary Page 2 ---------------------------- Fluttershy and Rarity. Something about them seems.... Odd. I get along with them quite well, a little too well if you ask me. I'll need to keep an eye out. I kind of trust them both a little more now after they've showed me their houses. I've gotten a little look into their private lives and ~~I don't think they're dangerous~~ they seem like decent enough people. I'll have to wait and see about the others, but for now I trust these two probably the most right now. She laughed after I said about my not dieing that long ago. So many people that I could've still helped. So.... many more that needed it. "Doctor, is he.... going to be alright?" A female voice asks. "His heart is on the edge of stopping. We've been trying different things for half an hour straight. It might be time to.... Let him pass." A male voice explains. "Dude, If you can hear me. Thanks.... For saving our daughter. I'll never forget what you've done for us." Another male voice says. 'I hear you. You don't need to thank me. It's what I lived to do.... Help others.' I think to myself. "Doctor.... I'd like to thank him before he goes.... Is that okay?" A girl asks. "Of course." The first male voice answers. I can hear footsteps coming towards me. They come to a stop right next to me. "Thank you for saving me.... You're a stranger yet you gave your life to save me.... I should've been paying attention. I should never have been on that road. You should still be alive.... I'm sorry." The girls voice says wavering every few words. A few seconds later I feel a pair of soft lips press gently press against my cheek, a second later the lips leave my cheek. "I can't give you anything as thanks.... I'm sorry." I hear her sniffle. "Normally if my daughter kissed a guy in front of me I'd be pissed off.... If it's you though dude. I think I would've been fine with it." The second male voice says. "You can pull the plug now doctor.... I.... I don't want to talk to him. I owe him too much and I just don't have the heart to say goodbe to him...." The womans voice says. "Understo......" All I feel is a coldness rush through my body. I feel like I've been frozen. "Open your eyes." I open them and I'm immediately blinded by a bright light. "You have a choice. Not many people have helped as many people as you. Now someone like you gets a choice." "What's my choice?" I ask. "You can either go to heaven and relax, or you can continue helping others. If you choose to go to heaven you'll be able to relax for the rest of eternity. Choose to continue helping others and you'll be put onto a different world. There won't be any humans there but there will be creatures there who need help just as much as a human would. You'll recognise these creatures as ponies, but they aren't like the ones you know from earth. These ponies talk like humans and have sentience like a human. Now, decide." "That's the easiest choice I've ever been given. I exist to help, it's my being. I'm going to the other world and I'll help them. I'll help them all." I answer. "I didn't expect anything less from you. Now then. Goodbye Josh." "Goodbye." I say with a slight smile. Everything fades to darkness. "It's coming too. Get the princess!" A male voice commands. "Yes Doctor." A female voice replies. I open my eyes. I'm in a hospital room. The white walls, roof and curtains all blend together. I look down at my body and see that my body is covered by a blue sheet. "Welcome back. Now don't worry I know why you're here. Princess Celestia told me that you'll be a great help to the people of Ponyville. But you must promise me one thing." A male voice explains. "What's that?" I ask as I look towards the voice. A pony with a yellow coat and brown mane stands next to me with a serious expression on his face. "Look after your own health." He says in a stern tone. "Sure." I reply. "Good. Now you should be ready to leave the hospital. We didn't take any of your clothes off since we knew what was wrong with you. Celestia gave us all the infomation we needed. Now if you wouldn't mind leaving, we need to make sure that we have a bed ready in case of an emergency." The Pony says with a nod. "Okay." I groan as I climb out of the bed. As I stand up my legs feel mostly nimb. "Why do my legs feel numb?" I ask as I try to keep my balance. "You where dead.... Of course a bit of you is going to be numb." The doctor jokes. "A bit of a stupid question." I chuckle. I stand for a second and let feeling come back to my legs. "Hurry now. I don't want you to be in the way." The doctor sighs. "Alright." I mumble as I take a deep breath. I stumble my way out of the room. "Ah! There you are Josh. Allow me to welcome you to Equestria." A large white pony with wings and a horn with a calm motherly voice says. "I recognise that voice. Are you the thing that talked to me after I died?" I ask as I stop in my tracks. "Yes, that was me. I am the one who brought you here. I've given about 240 people the offer to come help here. Martlin Luther King Junior was one of the few. He was an important person on your planet was he not?" The large white pony asks. "Yeah. He helped race relations. Without him who knows how earth would be like." I smile. "He was left in limbo for a long time.... A shame.... I should've been quicker but I had been busy dealing with others and trying to keep my lands running the way they should. By the time I got to him his wound had caused him so much pain that I decided to let him rest. I immediately sent him to heaven and gave him a long deserved rest..... But you. I was quick enough to get you. You had been in Limbo for a total of 3 days, unlike Martin Luther King Junior.... He was there for 30 years." Celestia finishes with a heavy sigh. "I might not be as influential as him but I can give it my all. He had his speeches which changed the most of the world, all I have is my body. I'm not very good at making speeches and probably never will, but I can still use what I've got to do what I can for this place." I reassure the white pony. "Thank you Josh. Even someone like me needs a bit of reassurance. I can already tell you'll help us. You'll help us more then you'd ever expect. Now then I believe I better introduce myself. My name is Princess Celestia but you can just call me Celestia. In fact I'd prefer it if you did just call me Celestia." She says with a smile. "Nice to meet you Celestia. I owe you a lot for this oppurtunity to help others again." I say with a bow. "There's no need to bow to me Josh. I'm looking out for my little ponies. Your life won't be easy. I won't be able to help you neither will my sister. Imagine it like earth. You need to earn everything you'll have. I must be going now, I have some friends for you that I think you'll get along with just fine. They'll be waiting for you at the front door of the hospital, don't leave them waiting too long." Celestia says as she dissapears in a bright flash. 'It's going to take a while to get used to that.... Well.... Let's go meet my new friends.' I walk down the hallway towards the front entrance of the hospital.w "Excuse me Josh! You need to sign out over here." A nurse at a desk calls to me with a wave. I apologise as I jog over to the desk and sign my name and the time I'm leaving on a piece of paper. She gives me a quick 'Thanks' before she continues with some work. I walk back towards the front entrance door and I'm met by six colourful ponies. "Ah, this must be Josh now. Pinkie try not to scare him, he has a few.... issues...." A purple pony explains to a pink one. "Scare him? I only want to say hi to him!" The Pink pony replies with a pout. "Hi Josh! How are you? How's your body? Is it good? I bet it's good. It's good right?" "I'm fine don't worry about me." I answer nervously. "Ah gotta say.... He's not exactly what I had pictured when Celestia explained him to us...." A southern voice comes from an orange pony with a stetson on it's head. "Ooo. I love southern accents." I say with a smile. "Uh.... Thank ya?" The orange pony answers with a confused look. "A real charmer isn't he? I think I'm going to like him." A white unicorn says with a smile. "Ah. The voice of class. I never got to really hear one besides in movies but it's nice to hear one in real life." "I can't tell if he's being nice or flirting with us...." The white unicorn says with an awkward fake smile. "Ah don't really wanna know." The orange one responds. "I'm not flirting with you.... Jeez it's been less then a minute since I met you...." "Ignore Rarity. She likes to.... Dream of romance and a knight in armour whisking her away to.... Where ever. Oh and by the books I've found his armour isn't the only thing she want's him being in." A blue pony with a rainbow mane and tail giggles. "Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" The white pony says as she covers the blue one's mouth with her hooves. "Ignore her." "Um.... Hi...." A small yellow pony mumbles. "Why hello there. I can tell that you're a little shy so I won't force you to talk to me. I used to know someone who was incredibly nervous and it would stress her out, so I won't force you to talk." I say with a smile. The yellow one stares at it's tail with a blush. "I guess it comes to me to introduce everyone.... The orange pony is AppleJack, The white unicorn is Rarity, The rainbow pegasus is Rainbow Dash, The very shy yellow pegasus is Fluttershy, The pink pony is Pinkie Pie and I am Twilight Sparkle. We'll be your friends while you're here with us." A purple pony with wings and a horn. "Right.... I'll do my best to remember." I mumble as I scratch my cheek. "Are you ready to see the town?" Twilight Sparkle asks. "As ready as I'll ever be." I answer with a nod. "Now. Before we go you'll need to decide who you'll be staying with until you get your own house. We don't want you sleeping in the streets so it's best decide now so we can show you that place first." Twilight Sparkle explains. "Ah okay.... Well.... I guess I'll stay with....."
