Chapter 1: Welcome To A New World
“Eh where the fuck am I?” I asked no one. “For I am sure as hell don’t know. Why am I even speaking out loud?”
What I did know was that wasn’t in the same place I had been just a moment ago. For this sure ass, hell wasn’t San Diego.
How did I know?
Well, it was currently night then it had been daytime, last time I had checked, and sundown would not have happened for another six hours. And there was the fact I could actually see the night sky filled with thousand distant stars burning or had been burning a million years ago and their light just now reaching the planet.
There was also the fact that the alleyway I stood in the ground was made of dirt and sand. The two-story houses on my side looked like the ones you would find in some African or middle eastern village, not in a modern day American City.
I tried to remember what had happened and the memories came to me.
I had been walking through comic-con finally had been able to go that year. I had been walking through the Baazar area to look for merchandise, and I had found a guy that sold FGO Servant Cards like it was a card game in booster packs. With each one containing a Random Servant of each Class, the seven standard ones and the extra ones such as Avenger, Ruler, and Gunner. There had also been the C.C.C extra classes sold separately as posters, but I hadn’t bought those. I had placed them in my backpack, and then I had gone to the toilet.
I didn’t remember anything after I had gone to the toilet until I found myself standing in this dirt-filled ally.
Wait, my backpack!
I reached for my back only to find it empty, and nothing was hanging off it.
My bag was gone.
Along with all my stuff.
Or least I thought so, until then my arms brushed against something that had been attached to my hips.
I turned my head to look at what it was and saw that it was a box-shaped object.
It pulled it off my belt and gave it a look over.
It looks like a deck box. I thought. Where the hell did this thing come from, I didn’t have this before.
I found the opening, and I saw what was inside. It was the Servant Cards I had bought from the booth. And they were packed out of their package.
Now I could actually see what I had gotten.
I looked at the ten cards in my hand each of them with the image of a Servant of them on, with each being in their final Ascension splash art.
I have gotten. Siegfried as Saber, Tristan as Archer, Karna as Lancer, Medusa as Rider, Paracelsus as Caster, Fuuma as Assassin, Cu as Berserker, Joan as Ruler, Hessian Lobo as Avenger and finally there was Nobu as Gunner.
Well, I think I can call this A+ Luck I had gotten here, for there were some serious bullshit Servants.
I packed the Class Cards away once again and put the deck box back onto my belt.
After that, I went to zip of my jacket as the air was getting a bit cold.
I’m a fucking idiot. I thought as I reached into the upper pocket of my jacket as that was where I kept my phone and not in my now missing bag.
I reached into my upper pocket and pulled out my precious LG smartphone and unlocked it, but my feelings of happiness were quickly dashed away as I as that were not signal.
“That’s just great,” I muttered as I put my phone back in its pocket.
I sighed as I thought about what to do now, as it was rather apparent to me now, that I had been R.O.B’ed. Now I just needed to figure out to where I had been sent, I just hoped that I wasn’t the protagonist of a shitty Isekai story now.
Sometimes, I think that being Genre Savy is a curse.
I began walking out of the alleyway, hoping to find some Inn I could eat in or get some sleep as I could feel my stomach starting to rumble a bit. As it hungered after food to fill it.
“Help!”
But that plan was rather quickly put on hold as I heard a female voice cry out for help through the night and was then quickly silenced.
I didn’t have a hero complex like some other people, but I couldn’t just leave somebody to be hurt. I would be a rather shitty human being if I ignored somebody obviously in distress.
I ran towards where the yell had come from, which was easy as the voice had come from a clear direction and not been thrown about because of the houses somehow.
I ran on the sandy road for a good half a minute until I came upon the alleyway from where the woman's scream had come from.
This one unlike the one I had been standing in was lit up by a single wooden torch allowing me to see what was happening.
And what I saw made my mind short circuit for a few seconds.
As I looked upon four beings that almost looked like humans, but they had grey skin that was stripped with black. Their faces were muzzled like a horse’s face, but it was more cartoonish if you could call it that. And from their back, I could see striped tails hanging, and their hair was the same. They even had hooves for feet.
They looked like cartoon anthro zebras. Isekai most definitely confirmed
And what they were doing made my blood boil.
You might ask what I was seeing, and I will tell you. Of the four anthro Zebras, I was looking at three of them was male, and one was female. You could probably guess what was happening and no it wasn’t consensual I could see the tears running down the female zebra’s face.
“What the hell do you think you're doing!” I shouted bringing the rape of the woman to a halt as the three males turned to look at me. Luckily for me, they hadn’t managed to progress very far and only one them was forcing her to give him a blowjob. But I could eagerly see the other two waiting for their turn.
“So, somebody seeks to interrupt our fun,” The one using her mouth spoke, with a gruff voice.
“It seems that way, Boss. Do you have any idea what he is, doesn’t look like a pony.” One of the two who was waiting said, and I could see he had scar under his eye
“I don’t care. Kill him, while I finish here and the one that does gets to get go next.” The so-called Boss ordered, and he had the fucking audacity to continue raping the female zebra right in front of me.
I’m going to fucking kill you.
And now that the two goons stood face to face with me I could see that they were wearing some kind of uniform, that meant they were part of some sort of group. Their uniforms looked to be of the military type which indicated that they were not the police, but instead mercenaries or Terrorists.
I’m not sure if that’s racist to think or not.
Their clothes still had that African/Middle Eastern look it and on their chest was a symbol looking like a drop of blood falling into a sea of blood.
And at their side was a single sword strapped to their belts, that looked more like machetes as the blade was very broad at the end.
I saw them pull and ready them to attack me.
I could hear them slightly chuckling like they had just discovered something funny.
“Well, it seems that our blue baller here isn’t carrying any weapons. Let’s show him why you don’t mess with the Igazi.” Gone two said the one without a scar said. They began walking towards me ready to swing their swords and most definitely trying to kill me.
I didn’t want to die.
And it was like my body moved automatically and I reached into the deck box and pulled out a Class Card. I really hoped that this would work, I had been transported here by some R.O.B or another kind of deity. And the only thing I had come here with had been my Cards and phone, and if the rule of Isekai worked in my favor one of those two had become magical, I was taking my chances with the Class Card based on an urban fantasy series.
“Include.”
The card in my hand lit up, and a second later I could feel knowledge fill my mind with how to use the weapon I had in my hand.
The sound of a Harpe playing and two bodies dropping to the dry ground rang throughout the alleyway.
I walked past the dead bodies of the two goons Failnaught at my side. I knew then I stopped the Include I would throw up, as I was using Tristan’s experience to handle my emotions at the moment.
I saw the Bosses eyes go wide as he looked at the bodies of his two men.
They fear filled with fear.
He panicked and quickly pulled out of the mouth he had been using make his dick flop and made cum fly everywhere.
I did not need to see that.
The female zebra fell to the ground and began coughing up some of the sperm that had been shot into her throat.
The Boss stood shakingly on his legs and was slowly backing away from me. “Do you have any idea who you’re fucking with if anything happens to me, the chief is going to burn this city to the ground.” The male zebra spoke fearfully.
He took my silence as an affirmation that I wasn’t going to hurt him, and he began to run away while his pants were around his ankles.
Too bad that I was just silent because I was disgusted with him.
As if he would get out this alive after what he had done.
I pulled three of Failnaught’s strings, and the rapist fell to the ground his knees blown out and throat punctured.
He was going to bleed out in a minute or two.
I walked over to the female zebra that was now sitting up and trying to cover up her breasts with an arm, as the thugs had ruined the shirt or jacket she had been wearing.
And I could see the fear in her eyes as I stood in front of her.
I kneeled down to her level. “Hey its okay they won’t hurt you anymore, where do you.”
She took and launched herself at me wrapping her arms around me, bringing me into a tight hug. I could feel her very large breasts being pushed into my chest.
Her head was on my shoulder, and I could hear her cry into it.
“There, there it's okay, it's going to be fine.” I tried to comfort her, petting her head and nuzzling her back.
I didn’t know how long we were sitting like that, but after sometime, she pulled her head away from my shoulder allowing me to get a look at her face and I saw that she had amethyst eyes. A thing I had never seen outside of fiction.
“You’re better now?” I asked.
“I am now my Lord.”
Ah, fucking social inequality worlds. Oh, how I hate you.
“Not a Lord, anyway do you live somewhere close by?” I asked as lifted her up so she could stand on her own.
“I was returning to the Madam.” Okay, so she was a prostitute.
“Could you show the way, so that I can make sure you get back safely.” I requested.
“There is no need my Lord, I’m just a lowly whore. You have already saved me once there is no need to go to such lengths.” The female zebra babbled.
“No, it would be a pleasure to escort you back miss?” I asked for her name as I couldn’t keep calling her female zebra in my head.
“Ah, this whore’s name is Zesta, my Lord,” Zesta answered.
“Lovely to meet you Zesta, my name is…” I came to a stop as I realized I couldn’t remember my name. It was completely gone from my memories. I could remember my life, my family, friends what I had gotten for Christmas last year, but my name was completely gone from my mind.
Guess that was the price for using this. I thought as I looked at the bow in my hand still.
I guess I now needed a new name. But what should it be, I had read a lot of self-inserts stories that had their name stolen and instead used their internet name handles as a substitute. But mine was terrible to use, as colors made for shitty names, at least in English for first names. And I didn’t want to translate it into Japanese, as I wanted to keep my weeb levels low. But I knew a name that I could use. “Roman Solomon,” It seemed appropriate, and it was a sign of respect I had for the good King of Magic.
With a thought, I ended the Include, and Failnaught returned to being a card. I immediately felt bile rise into my mouth as the force of killing three Sapient beings hit all at once, but I managed to keep it down and not puke.
“My Lord are you alright,” Zesta asked me, with concern I didn’t expect from a person I had just met.
“I’m fine, here put this on,” I said as I took off my jacket for Zesta to cover herself so that she didn’t need to use her arms to do it. I saw her hesitating for a bit. “Come on, take it or do you wanna show everyone what you got.” I tried to say playfully, as to lighten the grim mood that now permeated the air.
Zesta took my jacket and put it on, zipping it up. Though it seemed to be little too small for her as it was barely able to contain her breasts, showing a great amount of cleavage.
“Which way to the Madam’s place?”
“It is not very far from here,” Zesta said as we left the alleyway, leaving behind the smell of blood and dead bodies.
We entered what could be called the main street, and I got a good look at my surroundings, to actually compare it to things I knew. And closest thing I could was Lowtown from Dragon Age 2. So it made me think that this world was somewhere around its middle ages state. Though they probably had magic so they might be more like Familiar of Zero and have a magic substitute for tech. Or I was just making inaccurate presumptions about the entire place already with only seeing a little part of it, and the country next over could be a magi-tech heaven.
It was probably the last one.
“My Lord.” I heard Zesta speak and I turned my head to her.
“What is it?”
“I mean no offense with this my Lord, but might I ask what species you are, for I have never seen someone like you before?” Zesta asked. Which meant that she had never seen a human before or anything that looked like a human. Which for me meant there wasn’t any human-like in this world or at least within this country. But couldn’t take it as fact, as much as this was an asshole-ish thing to think. Zesta was most definitely an uneducated peasant. So I knew that the things she said about the things she knew shouldn’t be taken as gospel.
“I’m a human Zesta.”
“I’ve never heard about humans before?” Zesta said with curiosity.
“Yeah, you probably wouldn’t have,” I said.
“What do you mean by that my Lord?” Zesta asked me.
“Nothing, let's continue.”
The rest of the walk was spent in silence until a few minutes later we came to the brothel that Zesta worked at. And it was house very much different from the others around it, as it seemed that it was what separated the poor area from the higher class as down the road from the brothel. The houses from what I could see began to look more high class being made of wood and actual brickwork.
The Brothel was a very grand establishment and looked to be very profitable. It was composed out four stories of wood and stone of high quality, windows that were made out of actual glass and not wood shutters.
I could see people were inside moving about, by the shadows that appeared in the windows created by the light inside.
“Not to state the obvious, but I guess that this is the place?” I asked.
“it is my Lord, this is the place I call home,” Zesta spoke, and she opened the door, and we walked inside.
And the interior matched the exterior being of high-class quality. It was open entrance hall we stepped into like one would find in old English mansions, doors that led to other rooms and a large staircase that lead to the second floor.
And as the door closed behind us creating a loud noise, making everyone who was in the hall turn to face us. And everyone of them was an anthro zebra.
The hall was entirely quiet as everyone looked at us, rather they were looking at me with eyes of curiosity. Though I found it strange for being a Brothel, I couldn’t hear any sex going on.
The silence was broken by a female voice.
“Oh Zesta you’re back, I was starting to get worried that something had happened to you.” I turned my head to the voice and saw another female zebra walk towards us. She was dressed in a beautiful red dress, and her body I could have called a Zesta+ as she was a head taller than her and me. Along with having bigger breasts and wider hips, if they had been any bigger they would have bordered on comical.
The Female zebra pulled Zesta into a hug and pushed her head into her bosom.
“Madam.” I heard Zesta say in embarrassment.
So that zebra was the Madam, I really should have guessed that as she was the most sexual female in the hall.
The Madam let go of Zesta and turned to look at me. “Now who are you young stallion.” Of course, she would call me a stallion.
“Madam he is.” Zesta began to talk, but she was interrupted by the Madam.
“Now, now Zesta he can talk for himself.” The giant of a woman said or would mare be the correct term.
“Names Roman and I saved Zesta here from a trio of thugs that tried to have the entire way with her,” I said, hoping a bit that telling that would earn me a favor with the Madam. As she was probably an influential figure within the city, and she could help me gain information about this world as I knew nothing about.
Though as I finished speaking, I saw the Madam’s face turn into one of anger.
“Zesta is this true?”
“Yes.”
The Madam turned around and looked at the presumable customers and workers who were still staring at us. “What at are you all looking get back to what you were doing, and girls and boys get back to work.” At that everyone who had been starring moved like a fire had been lit in their assess.
The Madam turned her attention back to us.
“Now you two follow me to my office, we shall continue our conversation there.”
“Yes, ma'am.” Both Zesta and I said as we followed the Madam to her office.

I Believe We Call This Exposition Time
I was humming a random tune as I leaned against the wall, standing right next to the door that leads into the Madam’s office. Which was located on the third floor.
The head of the brothel had taken Zesta into her office first wanting to speak to the probably young Anthro-Zebra alone first.
I really didn’t care, and it was probably a smart thing to do to get the story from her first, so that she could call out any lies if I didn’t tell the truth.
Not that is was going to lie, at least for the time being at least.
And I had learned a long time ago that complaining about something never got you anywhere. Actions were all that mattered not words.
That’s why I wasn’t yelling at the heavens how unfair it was for me to be separated from my family and taken from my world.
I had read enough Isekai, to know that unfortunate bastards like me never got home after we got sent to another world. That’s why I didn’t think about home so that I wouldn’t devolve into a ball of angst, like Ichigo post-Aizen fight. So I just needed to deal with my current situation and get on with it.
Still, this was very different kind of Isekai world than what I was used to, as it seemed to be filled with Anthros.
Well, at least I’m not defenseless. I thought as I patted the box on my hips where my Class Cards were.
I hummed for at least another five minutes, and during that time, a few other employees walked past me. Though as they did, they hurried a bit up, almost if they were scared of me. I didn’t think I looked that threatening.
Still, though the craziest thing about my current situation wasn’t the fact that is was in another world or had mafic in the form the Class Cards. It was the fact that I was inside a brothel, I had never been in one before, and I felt kinda uncomfortable. While I couldn’t hear it, I knew that an outrageous amount of sex was taking place in the building.
And those thoughts didn’t help the half-erection in my pants.
I was brought about my thoughts about sex as the door to the office opened up, and Zesta stepped outside into the hallway where I was.
She no longer wore my jacket. Instead, she was wearing a shirt, but no bra, as I could see her breasts cling to the white fabric, highlighting her nipples and areola. But she was holding my jacket in my arms.
“The Madam wants to talk to you now my Lord,” Zesta relayed to me. “And here is your clothing thank you for allowing me to wear it.” I took my jacket back and put it on.
“It was my pleasure Zesta. I will talk to you later.” I said, as entered the office through the door Zesta had just gone through.

The Madam’s office was like the rest of the Brothel high class, heck I would even say more so. There was large window inside that allowed one to see most of the city from it.
The office was decorated in the same style as the entrance and what we had walked past getting to the office. Very Victorian England styled, the dominant color was mostly red, the furniture inside the office was a large wooden desk. I didn’t know what type of wood it was, but I guessed it was mahogany. There were paintings on the walls of various landscapes from deserts to forests. There was also a painting with the Madam on it along with a male zebra and two young looking female zebras. I guessed that had to be her husband and children.
The office also contained four bookshelves that were filled to the brim with books and scrolls.
Now I was sitting in a chair in front of the desk with the Madam sitting in her own chair behind it.
“Now that we have some privacy could you tell me how a human came to arrive here in Zebanda?” The Madam spoke with a voice of authority, and I felt compelled to answer her. The woman certainly had a high rank of Charisma. One wouldn’t have expected of a Madam of a Brothel, so that meant that was more to the zebra in front of me than meets the eye.
Yay, for terrible Transformers reference brain.
“I’m guessing that Zebanda is the name of the city?” I asked for clarification.
“Yes, it I’m also guessing that you don’t know where you are?” I just nodded. “As I said, the city you’re currently in is Zebanda located in the nation of Zebrica. Now I ask again how did you get here human. Roman was it?” Damn the Zebra could give a hard look. Which I could understand she probably was trying to determine if I was a threat towards her girls. Zesta had probably been praising my name, and the Madam just wanted to see if what she said had been true. And I would bet on the fact he some magic tricks up her sleeves.
“Yes, my name is Roman Solomon. And for how I got here, to be honest, I don’t know how.” I answered her.
“Truly?”
“Yep, I was just leaving a restroom, and I found myself, in an alleyway and when I heard Zesta screaming, which lead to our current conversation.”
“I can see that you're telling the truth, Mr. Roman.”
“I have no reason to lie to you Madam, but might I ask one thing?”
“You already did, but go ahead.”
UGH
“I thought that you knew that I was a human because Zesta told you, but the way you asked your question about how I arrived, makes me think you knew that I was a human from the moment you saw me?” It was a wild, guess on my part but something told it was true.
“Yes, that is true, but I wasn’t quite sure until Zesta said you were one.”
“So, if that is true can you tell me where the other humans in this world are so that I can find them?” For I wanted a little bit of familiarity, in my new life. I had nothing against the apparent anthros that lived here, but I wanted to see something that looked more like me.
“That is going to be a problem as your probably the only living human on the surface of Equus.” She stated, but before I could say anything in response, she continued to talk. “The only reason I know what I human looks like is because there was a detailed description of one in ancient scripture. And that account was over two thousand years old. And that was depicting a female human.”
“Great, the only human in existence on… Equus was it?”
“Yes. Now I have to change this conversation to something more serious.” The Madam’s face turned serious. At least I thought so, as her face was in a scowl.
“Eh, why?” I asked. But I had an inkling of an idea as to why that was.
“Because of the group the men that assaulted Zesta and that you killed.” She stated.
And I was right.
“Tell me did you hear the name of the group they belonged to and did you see their insignia?” She asked.
It took me a few moments to remember, but the word and symbol came to my mind.” Yeah, it was blood dripping into an ocean, and they called themselves Igazi. But I have no idea what that means.”
“Okay, so a quick modern history lesson. Zebrica is currently in a Civil War against a Warlord, that seeks to take the place of the Chief Empress that is currently ruling. The name of the Warlord is Zelu, he who is one who leads the Igazi. Which is old Zebrican for Blood in modern Equus.”
“But let me guess, he has been winning and has conquered most of the country?” I guessed.
“Yes, right on the Bit. In the last ten years, Zelu has managed to take over half the nation, though that is only because Zelu has the Empress, daughter as his hostage. And so the army hasn’t been as effective as it could be.”
“Because she is afraid that he will kill her if she presses the offensive?”
“And because she is the only one that can inherit the royal throne, and that is also why the Empress hasn’t called our Neighbors for help.”
“Ah, doomed if you don’t and doomed if you do situation when?” As that was the phrase that came to my mind as I thought the situation over. “But, what does have to do with the three I killed weren’t they just foot soldiers, Zelu doesn’t sound like a man who cares about such a thing happening?” I asked.
“Yes, that is true, but only two of them were the third you killed were one of his sons, he had put in charge of the city as it’s Chief. His children now those he cares about greatly, and he is probably going to burn Zebanda to the ground when he finds out his son is dead.”
Well, fuck no good deed goes unpunished, does it?
“But if he was the Chief, why were there so few guards with him?”
“Zenan was an arrogant brat that thought himself invincible and didn’t need a regiment of guards to protect him. You caught him in one of his walkabouts to see if curfew is being held.”
“I’m guessing that Zesta isn’t the first girl he has forced himself on.” Her silence was all I needed as an answer. “When I have no regrets in what I did.”
“And I would call you an idiot if you did.” I saw a smile appear on her face. “I have to thank you for saving my girl.”
“You welcome Madam.”
“Please Roman, only my workers, and customers call me Madam. My real name is Zesvia.”
“Good to meet you Zesvia. Though since we are talking, I would like to ask if you could provide me with the book with the human girl described in it, along with information about the various races of this World, along with Geography.” I requested as I was in desperate need of knowledge.
“I shall have them for you in the morning. It’s the least I can do to repay you for what you have done.”
Well, it seemed that she had come around, to be less antagonistic towards me. Which I appreciated a great deal. Guess she had finally judged my character and found me in good standing.
“Also can I ask why Zesta keeps calling me Lord?” I hadn’t managed to ask the working girl, so I hoped that now that knew her actual name Zesvia could tell.
“You’re able to use magic are you not. Zesta told me you used a card to summon a bow that didn’t shoot wooden arrows, but ones of sound instead.”
“Yeah, I got magical cards that allow me to do various things.”
“And there is your answer Roman. To be a magic user, or rather a Shaman, do you know what Shaman is Roman?”
“It’s a magic user that specialize in nature magic, relying on the world around them to accomplish spells and rituals. Along with communicating with spirits and practicing potion making.” I said the generic things that Shamans normally did in a fantasy setting.
“Broad, but very accurate. In Zebrica society being is the highest status one can have without being in politics. And most Shamans work side by side with the Chiefs and teaching new ones.” Zesvia exposited. “So, she probably you are of the same rank within your species and shows you the proper level of respect a man of such station deserves. And there is also the fact that your clothes are of high quality.”
“Well, I figured the last part out, but thankfully for telling me about the first.” I thanked her. “Now are we done talking for the night?”
“Yes, it is getting rather late, and I would like to get some sleep, so I’m able to educate my girls. No no in that way, I saw your eyes. I teach them how to read and write. Along with the kids that can’t afford school, now because of what Zenan did to the city.”
I just smiled at Zesvia, she really had a heart of gold.
“So, do you have a place for me to sleep?”
“Yes, I have a few private guestrooms, you can use one of them.” She proposed.
“I take you up on it.”
“I have Zesta escort you to one of them.”

And Zesta did.
The room she had taken me to was decently sized with a double bed, a night table, and desk with a chair.
“Hope you have good nights sleep, my Lord,” Zesta said as she handed me the gas lantern that was the only source of light within the room. And the room to my surprise was not ice cold, but that made sense as I was in a tropical climate, somewhat close to this worlds equator.
“And you sleep well Zesta,” I responded back.
I think saw her blush as she left and closed the door to my knew room behind me.
After that, I walked over to the bed and placed the lamp on the night table. As sit down I took the box of me and took my Class Cards out it giving them another look. I could feel a connection to all of them, and through it, I could tell which of them I could use at the moment. I could tell that I had a small source of Od available at the moment to fuel them while Included and Installed. With how even Including Tristan for a few seconds had drained me of energy, a drain I was fighting against so I wouldn’t collapse from exhaustion. And from that and my connection with the cards I could tell that, I could only Include Medusa, Tristan, Fuuma, and Paracelsus and he was only one I could Instal. If I did the others like Karna, I would die almost immediately.
Bu that problem could wait for later, I was tired and wanted to sleep. I would deal with this world and its problems tomorrow.
I took my clothes of striping down to the underwear.
I was out like a light, the moment my head hit the pillow.
“My King you cant understand human Emotions.”
